Reveler's Road
Carmine is currently pulling Clyde by his wrist up the path on Reveler's Road on their way to Kitakami Hall where the next signboard is located.
"Come on; we need to get to the next signboard before your white-haired friend and my brother catch up!" exclaimed Carmine.
"For the last time, this isn't a race." said Clyde.
"Just hurry up already!" said Carmine, tugging hard on Clyde's wrist, causing him to almost dropped the Pokemon Egg he got from Mr. Jacq, but he was able to get a good grip on it.
"Will you be careful? I almost dropped my egg!" said Clyde.
"Sorry." Carmine replied. Clyde pulled his wrist with everything he had and was able to free himself from Carmine's grasp.
"Just try to be careful; this is a future Pokemon!" exclaimed Clyde.
"Whatever; just hurry up." said Carmine and she continues walking up the path; Clyde followed after her. Howard and Harold McBride were watching on their monitor through Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"Oh, I hope Carmine didn't pull our Clyde's wrist too hard." said Harold.
"That girl's a real handful." said Howard. Somewhere else on the path, Lincoln and Kieran, as well as Lincoln's family and Iono, through his Rotom Phone, were watching what transpired between Clyde and Carmine.
"What is with your sister?" asked Lincoln with an annoyed tone.
"No idea." replied Kieran.
"Well, let's get to Kitakami Hall and get to that next signboard." said Lincoln.
"I hope that Carmine girl doesn't literally rub your face in it if she gets to that signboard first." said Lori.
"People like that are a pain." said Leni.
"We're unfortunate to live with someone like that." said Luna, glaring at Lynn Jr.
"Come on, when do I do something like that?!" asked Lynn Jr.
"On game nights." replied Lola.
"Whatever." replied Lynn Jr with a scoff. Lincoln and Kieran continued walking up the path; as they do, Lincoln looks at the Pokemon egg he got from Mr. Jacq in his arms.
"What kind of Pokemon do you think is in that egg, Lincoln?" asked Leni.
"What do you hope comes out of it?" asked Lana.
"I hope it's a cute one." said Lola.
"Or a strong one." said Lynn Jr.
"Are you egg-cited about it, Lincoln? Ha ha ha, get it?" said Luan. Everyone groans in response.
"I don't care what Pokemon comes out of it; as long as it's healthy, that's all that really matters to me." said Lincoln.
"That is really nice of you to say, Lincoln." said Rita.
"My Linky is so kind!" said Iono, making Lincoln blush. As he and Kieran continued walking, Lincoln sees a bipedal, blue, insectoid Pokemon flying over to them and setting down. Lincoln takes his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Heracross, the Singlehorn Pokemon. It loves sweet nectar. To keep all the nectar to itself, it hurls rivals away with its prized horn." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"You know, I read that Heracrosses are so strong, they can throw things that are a hundred times their weight." said Lincoln.
"Whoa-ho-ho, that sounds really strong." said Lynn Jr. "Hey, Linc; mind catching that Pokemon and sending it to me?"
"Sure thing." replied Lincoln, pulling out a pokeball while making sure to keep a good grip on his egg. "Charcadet, go!" He throws Charcadet's pokeball, and releases him. "Charcadet, use Ember!" Charcadet fires embers out of the holes on its helmet and they hit Heracross, dealing super effective damage to it. Heracross flies at Charcadet and repeatedly jabs him with its horn.
"Charcadet, Fire Spin!" said Lincoln. Charcadet releases a stream of fire from his helmet holes and it circles Heracross, dealing super effective damage to it. Heracross charges at Charcadet and repeatedly strikes him with its arms.
"This Pokemon doesn't know when to quit." said Lynn Jr, excitedly.
"Neither does Charcadet." said Lincoln. "Charcadet, Ember once more!" Charcadet fires more embers from its helmet holes and they hit Heracross, dealing super effective damage, and knocking it to the ground. Lincoln takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Heracross, hitting it, and sucking it in; after it wiggled around a few times, it clicks.
"Yay! Linky caught a Heracross!" said Iono. Heracross' pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. Lincoln uses his Rotom Phone to look up Heracross' data.
"This says Heracross is a boy, he knows Tackle, Leer, Arm Thrust, Fury Attack, Endure, and Aerial Ace; he has the Guts ability which increases his attack strength when he has a status condition." said Lincoln. He uses his Rotom Phone to transport Heracross to the Loud house. "Okay, Lynn; I just sent Heracross home."
"Thanks, bro." replied Lynn Jr. As Lincoln returns Charcadet to his pokeball, he hears Leni squeal with delight.
"What is it, Leni?" asked Lincoln.
"That Pokemon over there looks totes adorbs!" replied Leni. Lincoln looks to see a foxlike Pokemon with several tails walking nearby. Lincoln points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Vulpix, the Fox Pokemon. If it is attacked by an enemy that is stronger than itself, it feigns injury to fool the enemy and escapes." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"Catch it for me, Lincoln!" said Leni, excitedly. Lincoln nods before he pulls out a pokeball.
"Lycanroc, go!" said Lincoln, throwing Lycanroc's pokeball, and releasing him. "Lycanroc, Accelerock!" Lycanroc becomes surrounded by a white aura and he charges at Vupix with incredible speed, ramming into it, and dealing super effective damage to it, knocking it to the ground. Lincoln takes out a Heal Ball and throws it at Vulpix, hitting it, and sucking it in; it soon clicked. "I caught Vulpix, Leni."
"Yay!" cheered Leni. Vulpix's Heal Ball vanishes; Lincoln looks up Vulpix's data on his Rotom Phone.
"This says Vulpix is a girl, she knows Tail Whip, Ember, Disable, Quick Attack, and Spite; she has the Flash Fire ability which prevents her from receiving damage from fire attacks, but instead, raises the power of her fire attacks." said Lincoln. He uses his Rotom Phone to transport Vulpix to the Loud house. After returning Lycanroc to his pokeball, Lincoln and Kieran begin walking up the path up Reveler's Road.
Meanwhile, somewhere farther up the path, Clyde was looking at an acorn-like Pokemon while Carmine looked on, impatiently. Clyde points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Seedot, the Acorn Pokemon. To expand its habitat, it pretends to be a nut so that bird Pokémon will pick it up and carry it far away." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"I'm catching this Pokemon." said Clyde, pulling out a pokeball while holding his egg under his free arm.
"Will you just hurry up?!" exclaimed Carmine. "That friend of yours and my brother will probably be here any minute!"
"I'll make it quick!" replied Clyde in an annoyed tone. "Litleo, go!" He throws Litleo's pokeball and releases him. "Okay, Litleo; use Work Up!" Litleo becomes surrounded by a light red aura and his attack and special attack strength increases. Seedot rolls towards Litleo and rams into him, dealing super effective damage. "That looked like Rollout."
"Who cares?! Will you just hurry up?!" exclaimed Carmine.
"All right, already; Litleo, use Ember!" said Clyde. Litleo shoots embers out of his mouth and they hit Seedot, dealing super effective damage, and knocking it to the ground. Clyde takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Seedot, hitting it, and sucking it in. It wiggled around a few times until it clicks. "Yes! Seedot is mine!" Seedot's pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. Clyde uses his Rotom Phone to look up Seedot's data.
"This says Seedot's a boy, he knows Tackle, Harden, Absorb, Astonish, and Rollout; he has the Chlorophyll ability which increases his speed when it's really sunny out." said Clyde.
"Congratulations on a successful capture, Clyde." said Howard McBride. As Clyde is returning Litleo to his pokeball, Carmine looks down the path and saw Lincoln and Kieran walking up it. As Clyde is putting Litleo's pokeball away, Carmine grabs his free hand that wasn't carrying his egg and pulls him up the path.
Lincoln and Kieran continue walking up the path; they soon arrived at their destination: Kitakami Hall.
What will they learn on the signboard there? Wait and find out.
Back at the Loud residence, Leni was sitting on the side of her bed, stroking the back of her new Vulpix that was resting on her lap.
"Your fur is totes soft, Vulpix." said Leni. Outside the Loud house, Lynn Jr was in the front yard with her new Heracross. He was on his hands and knees with his horn downward; Lynn Jr puts a box full of junk from the garage on the end of Heracross' horn. He tosses the box with his horn, sending it flying far away.
"Man, you are one strong Pokmeon, Heracross." said Lynn Jr. "You threw everything I gave you real far." Heracross flexes his arms in response. Lola walks out of the house while being followed by Cutiefly.
"I'm going to my pageant studio; hold my calls while I'm out." said Lola.
"Okay, sweetie." replied Rita. Lola turned towards Cutiefly.
"Come on, Cutiefly; I want to show you to my pageant friends; they're just going to adore you." said Lola. She looks around the front yard. "Um, where's my Princess Car? I left it right there." While Lola was looking around, Lynn Jr was sneaking back into the house with Heracross following her.
At Tall Timbers Park, Lola's Princess Car was surfacing from the lake, covered in seaweed.
