The legend of the Avatar out of time
A/N: This story will have at least 3 books the first book will be on the time travel idea that is explained in the summary of this book. I rated this M because of the violence and maybe if I see that you want it some lemons but it will be minor.
I have decided to post this story once I have a 5 chapter advance on the story (This chapter is an exception to see if I continue so I will not have any advance so you will have to wait a little beat more than a week maybe 2 max 3) so that I can post one chapter every weak.
The wait between the books will probably be at least 6 months IF AND ONLY IF I see that you like (review) if not I will probably stop.
To end this long enough author note I will say that I am not English nor American I am French and I really like the franchises that I write about because I want to everyone to be able to read it I chose to write it in English so if I make mistakes I am deeply sorry talk to me about it in the reviews or in PM (but please be respectful)
For the timeline we are just after the comic Imbalance for ATLA and for TLOK just after the comic Ruins of the Empire
I don't own Avatar The Last Airbender (Sadly I would really like to) I don't own Legend of Korra I am sadly not Nickelodeon
Most of the new characters that I will put in this story are not mine either I was inspired by 3 big mythology: Hindu, Chinese and Japanese mythology. However their story are only inspired by the mythology so they are mine :)

It's been 5 years since the 100 year war was over. Most part of the Gaang lived in Yu Dao now to help with the rebuilding and the harmonic restoration movement.
Aang has some problem of his own on the city council because the cause of Liling was more and more spoke.
Aang and his team had put her in jail for all that she did but it wasn't enough. The benders of the city were worried that the non benders could maybe replace them.
Unfortunately for the council members all Aang could think about was her, the love of his life, the star in his nights, his everything: Katara
But this time Aang wasn't so lucky: the meeting was starting to get out of hand. Two sides were forming: those who chose to banish all non bender activity in a bender's company and those who said pretty much the same thing but opposite. For Aang it was confusing to now how they arrived at that point because he was lost in his thoughts most of the meeting, to be honest most of the meetings were quite confusing because the problems were always the same and the solutions that the members proposed were quite always the same.
Aang chose to speak against his best regard:
"Dear council members I think the problem is not really who we should banish from one another company, but how to make the life better for all non-benders and all benders we should learn to live in harmony rather than fight ourselves" he said calmly
However it seems that the intervention of the young avatar did not pleased some of the members of the council.
One of the members choose to speak : "And what does the Avatar now about our situation ? Excuse me Avatar but you do not work here, hell you don't even live here you started to live secluded from the population of this city on an Island with your little watertribe girlfriend and you dare say that WE should try to make harmony ? Sorry my young friend but you are a hypocrite who is not even capable to dump his stupid young live to find a real wife and start rebuilding his Nation"
Another member spoke to continue the idea of his esteemed colleague: "You talk to us about harmony but you are 17 and you can make children it is time for you to start to think about the world and give them new airbenders by marrying and excuse my rudeness impregnate a young and beautiful non-bender so that you can repopulate your Nation. Sorry Avatar but if you are here is only because councilman Lao Beifong because you are a friend of his daughter so I will please ask to stay here yes but to shut your mouth when we discuss about what matters for our city"
"You know what ? You are right of course not on me 'dumping' as you said so politely my girlfriend but about the fact that what happens in this city is something that I do not care about anymore but to be clear I will not attend these meetings anymore but to be clear I will always side with the weak because they are those who need me. As you can see I am not mad at you anymore but to be clear if you ever disrespect my 'watertribe girlfriend' as you so beautifully said I will not hesitate to make you leave the city by running your reputation. I hope that I am clear enough on that matter" the young avatar started to walk away as he turned back on the doorstep interrupting the meeting he said :
"One more thing you see I am as calm, as cold as the ice, but that is something you should worry about : I am determined and more than ever to bring you all down if you harm the weakest, and when I say bring you down nothing except death and torture will stop me.
As long as you have the poors' best interest in mind anyone who did not disrespect my girlfriend can come and ask me for help as soon as you lost of your mind these peoples' best interest then you will make an enemy of me I hope that it's clear for everyone because I won't say it again"
He then walked out of the door letting all the council members eyes wide and a little bit shocked.
Aang returned to the Island where he started living with Katara and some of his friends. He walked to his girlfriend and surprised her training her waterbending, he decided to take of his close to only wear his trunk and he walked to the water to practice some waterbending with her. Aang looked at her with passion : he always thought that she was even more gorgeous when she practiced her waterbending. She saw him watching her and she blushed a little at her boyfriend watching her so passionately
"So who was the meeting" she asked gently and caring. Katara decided to not go anymore to the meetings because it was always the same problem without new solutions and the council members never listened to her.
"Not great" Aang responded harshly
"What happened" The watertribe girl asked with concern
"I don't want to talk about it" Aang said with this time a little bit less hardness and what Katara thought was pain
"I can see that it has really shaken you, you sure you don't want to talk about it ? Maybe It could help you" The watertribe girl said it with worry in her voice
How can I explainto her that I'm lost I want to marry her more than anything, I even ready to ask her once I learned more of her traditions and I reach 18 years old, but I also want to rebuild my Nation but I don't want to impose that on her.
Aang was pulled out of his thoughts when a gentle hand grabbed his shoulder Katara turned him to face her as she so little tears from his eyes she decided to grab him in a tight hug
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to but I want to be able to comfort you"
Aang sighed deeply and began to talk to his love slowly and a little bit sadly but, very serious : "I left the council I cannot be near them now"
After what he said there was a deep silence in the room for at least 5 minutes before someone began to talk
"Aang, sweetie, I am sure that this is not the reason that made you cried, if you are not ready to talk about it yet it's fine for me"
What did I ever do to deserve her Aang thought and then before even thinking about it he said "We talked about you and about how there was less chance to rebuild the Air Nation with you than with a non-bender"
Katara at the moment didn't now what to respond the only answer she could come with is "Oh" to mark her surprise
Aang continued "I know that it will be more difficult and maybe we could do a lot of children but I don't want you to be only the one who carries children I love you too much for that and I don't want to impose you the fact that we must have children I don't even know if you want children. On one hand I have to think about the avatar cycle and the future of the Air Nation but on the other hand I don't want to leave you I love you too much for that"
Katara sensed it was time to respond "I knew from quite some time now that it would be a subject that we will have to talk about considering that you are almost 18 and that in your traditions the real love is known at 18 years old" Katara new about the Air Nomad traditions about love because they talked about it on Aang's 16th birthday : In her culture you can marry at 16 years old but Aang being an Air Nomad she said that she wanted to respect his traditions and she wanted to know about them. The most important traditions were that Air Nomads don't marry themselves never but they can have one partner for life (or more depends on the person) but not before 18 years old because the true love in their tradition was revealed at 18 years old.
"I thought about it for quite some time now I want to have kids I think 3 or 4 would be perfect but I want you to know that I would understand if you want to be with another woman who can offer you more"
Aang immediately responded "I love you too much to be with another woman but let me think about the future and our kids because to be truthful I am not sure of anything right now" that was of course a lie when Katara told him that she wanted to have kids he could not be more happy but he had to hid his joy because he wanted to ask her hand in his 18th birthday but this had to be of course a surprise
"Sōjōbō I expect you to bring me dead or alive but preferably alive the Avatar I need to be able to manipulate Raava how I want if not my plans will be delayed and I don't want that is that clear ?" a deep dark voice was talking to Sōjōbō the lastest knew exactly who it was and knew better than to make him wait
"Of course my lord I will do anything for you"
Not far another spirit heard the conversation and was visibly scared of what could happen

Who is this Lord and why does he want to manipulate Raava ? What are his plans ?
Is Aang gonna learn about the water tribe's tradition and make Katara a new betrothal necklace ?
Is Aang gonna be courageous enough to ask the love of his life to marry him ?
