ATTENTION! IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you started reading Harry Potter: SHIELD and Sorcery before July 27th, 2024 then I would highly suggest you start over.
I have gone through and edited my previous chapters, and added new ones to expand on Harry's time in the Marvel Universe.
Some things will be very similar and others were deleted and rewritten from the ground up. I'm not saying there won't still be problems with grammar or misspellings, it is very hard to see your own mistakes when writing.
Also Sorry I've been MIA for a few days I was just finishing this up and will now be reposting and adding new and old chapters.
Thanks for reading

Harry walked into the warehouse and found Fury sitting in the middle again, only this time all the lights in the warehouse were on. Clearly he didn't want anyone to hear what he's about to say. "Fury."
"Potter." Fury nodded in greeting before he stood up, "Can you secure the area?" Harry just nodded, sent out a wave of magic that didn't ping back with any humans and raised a mufflatio charm. When Fury heard the slight buzzing he nodded "Good. I need you to tell me if this dark detector you gave me is malfunctioning." Fury slipped the ring off and handed it to Harry.
Harry just gave him an eyebrow raise before taking the ring and running scans over it. It seemed to be functioning just fine. Handing it back, "It seems to work perfectly."
Fury frowned harder than Harry had ever seen. "It seems that there are quite a few people wanting to kill me. That wouldn't surprise me normally, but when low level agents and some really high level people all feel that way I got cautious and thought the ring may have malfunctioned. If what you said is true though then there is either a group infiltrated within SHIELD or someone wants to bump me off within SHIELD. Either way I don't like it."
Harry grew serious and just nodded, "Give me some names and I'll be back in a few hours."
Fury began listing off a few high level people and the lower levels that work closely to his office in the Triskelion. Harry popped away.
Harry reappeared at the Triskelion and sought out his first target, Rumlow. If he indeed wanted Fury dead, it would make sense why Fury was so tense at the meeting when he first joined. Finding him reading a mission report in the cantina Harry just squatted down next to him and peered into his eyes. Shuffling through the glimpses of missions and coworkers he found him talking with Pierce, He was about to bypass it when Rumlow saluted Pierce with his arm up in the air and said "Hail HYDRA!" Quickly escaping his mind Harry left and popped directly back to the warehouse. He hadn't heard of HYDRA, but if it went all the way up it couldn't be good.
Fury saw Harry walking over and raised his eyebrow when he saw the look of confusion on his face. Harry waved his hand again this time the buzzing was a bit louder. "Do you know what HYDRA is?" Harry was completely unprepared for the string of curse words flying from Fury's mouth.
"HYDRA!?" Fury looked over at his confused agent, "Did someone seem connected to them? Who was it?"
"Woah Fury calm down and tell me what the big deal is." Harry tried to calm the Director and waved his hands down. "I need to know more before I can ascertain how deep the shit goes."
Fury took a calming breath and sat in his chair indicating the second one to Harry. "This goes all the way back to World War 2. Hitler had created a subdivision of his military dedicated to research and the occult. This subdivision was led by Johann Schmidt. Schmidt wasn't just a scientist though. He was the leader of a cult called HYDRA. This group wanted to bring back a god or some such during its founding but eventually evolved into an organization seeking control and power. Schmidt, using the Nazi party, gathered more followers and money making deadly weapons and a super soldier serum. HYDRA was the main fighting power of the Nazi party in World War 2 and was believed to be destroyed with the death of Schmidt and cleansing of the Nazi party." Fury rubbed his temples in frustration, "If HYDRA is really infesting SHIELD then this is a much larger problem than I thought. Who did you find this information from?"
"I secured the information from Rumlow when he was talk to Councilman Pierce." Harry said simply. Fury just stared off with a scowl on his face before he let loose more curse words and pacing around.
"We need to get ahead of this. We need to find a way to track every member of HYDRA and start documenting who is loyal to SHIELD and who is loyal to HYDRA." Fury sat back down.
Harry thought it over for a moment. "Do you think they have ways of knowing each other?"
Fury tilted his head to the side as he thought, "They might have a greeting that they do or a hand sign."
"Such as this?" Harry said as he stood up and did an approximate salute "Hail HYDRA!"
Fury just stared at him and shook his head, "I'm assuming that's what Rumlow did?" Harry just nodded. "Then I would assume that's a normal greeting between HYDRA agents to verify identity."
"Well I could use a taboo?" Harry said with a slight questioning tone at the end.
"A taboo?" Fury asked
"Yeah a taboo. It was something the Dark Lord from my world used to hunt down dissidents who said his name. The only problem is that Voldemort had an entire organization and government watching the taboo so they could track down who said it." Harry said as he pulled out two butter beers and conjured a small table to the side of the two chairs.
Fury hummed as he went over who would be the most trustworthy. "Could you not automate it to record who said it?"
Harry tossed that idea around in his head pondering how much work that would take and whether or not he could enchant something that complex. "The only problem is that it just pings where it happens, not who did it. I could definitely try but I can't promise anything."
Fury just nodded and finished off his Butterbeer, "Well get to it and let me know when it's done." Fury proceeded to walk out of the warehouse without looking back.
Harry just shook his head sipping his drink, "What a weird day."

Harry had spent days experimenting with different spells and enchantments when he found something that might work. He had just sat down at his work table when he looked over his stuff and caught site of the old Marauder's Map. Looking at it he remembered how it had named everyone in the castle and tracked their movements. Laughing, Harry got to work.
Harry took a never ending quill and chaired it to a nearby parchment roll. Harry then walked over to the large ward stone that would cover most of the DC area, including the Triskelion. He moved to the side and started inscribing runes that would activate the taboo. He first set the words by speaking them in several of the most used languages and then tied that inscription into a homunculus ward that would track any and all lifeforms. Next he threaded an identifying ward that would track the identity of people when they entered the warded area. With those done he layered enchantments that would signify who and where the person activated the taboo. This way he would know if there was a common gathering area or unidentified base housing HYDRA agents. He would need to set ward stones like this over all the large SHIELD bases but it could be done. Harry had learned how to make ward stones from is old Alchemy teacher. Finishing up the first of many he set out to make sure that it would continue to work regardless of paper supplies and enchanted the document to copy itself when it was full. He then enchanted the ink to disappear a second after being copied.
Deciding to make all the ones he would need he set the ward stone and recording device to be a more cohesive unit and built it into a box. Giving it a neat and tidy look. Next he mapped out the other areas that would need one and started crafting the Anti HYDRA boxes over and over. When he was done hours later he had 15 of them.
Harry stood back and looked at his work with a nod and a grin, "Well that done, and is quite efficient." Brushing off his hands he popped up to his apartment to eat and call Fury. "Wonder if I will get a smile when he sees it."
—
Fury stood in front of the 15 boxes with both excitement and dread. "Good work Potter, but now we have to decide where to start other than the Triskelion."
"Well I figured we would target the most likely cities to hold HYDRA agents in high positions and SHIELD bases." Harry said as he looked over the documents Fury pulled up when he called. "It seems like DC as a whole will be a good place. Let's set one under the UN building. Next we'll cover The Hub, the training centers, and then Major Cities. So that's 6 for SHIELD, an extra to put on the new Helicarrier that is almost done, and the rest we can cover major cities. Geneva, New York, Berlin, etcetera."
Fury gave a single nod, "This could be huge. We just can't spook them. We have no idea how high up they go but it could be very dangerous if they ever caught wind of this."
"Ah don't worry about it Nick." Harry said as he patted Fury's arm. Fury immediately gave him the coldest glare he could while Harry just laughed it off. "You seriously need to relax. At least this way we can save SHIELD in the downfall of HYDRA. Anyway I was going to place them and put a charm to hide their locations and go back to check the copy boxes for the lists of names. I even chaired it to tag anyone who said it so we won't have repeats."
Fury just turned back to the boxes and nodded, "Get it done." He then stalked away returning to whatever work he did as a Director of SHIELD while Harry started planning the placements.
