Chapter Two

The drive seemed like forever as Christina continued to fake sleep in the passenger seat. She listened as Andy turned on the radio, which if she wasn't supposed to be pretending to sleep she would have turned it off, but he did turned it down when he called someone on the phone.

"Hey, would you go out with me tonight?" He had the same reverberation as he spoke. The person must have said they would as Andy's voice had a happy sound to it but Christina kept her eyes closed and breathing steady. "Great see you at seven then." He hung up and gently tossed his cellphone on the seat. "Why can't I control you?" He said his voice was normal now, but Andy must have not cared as he slowed down and turned and stopped.

Christina braved a small peek as she wanted to make sure Andy had now left, as she heard the door opening then closing hard. She let out a sigh of relief as he was indeed gone as he walked away towards the park and headed for the business section of the town. She could hear sirens blaring in the background and she sat up to see police and the ambulance surrounding a large crowd. Andy must have used his trick as he was allowed to get into the middle of the area. She jumped slightly when her cellphone began to ring and she quickly answered it.

"Hello?" She said sliding over to get behind the steering wheel and quickly turning over the engine glad to see that Andy had the heart to leave the keys in the ignition.

"Oh thank god!" Dean spoke his voice was clearly a little winded as he must have been running. "Did anything happen to the car?"

"No the car is just fine. I'm fine too. Thanks for that concern by the way." Christina said feeling a little disappointed in her older brother as she carefully pulled away from the parking spot. "Regardless, I have the car, he left the keys and I'm heading that way to you."

"Okay. I owe you a hotdog by the way. I feel like a girl eating my stress like that."

Christina giggled softly. "It's all good, Dean. I'll see you soon." She hung up and drove off catching a glance at Andy crying and being comforted by a few strangers. After a few minutes she found the street the street vendor was on and saw Sam and Dean standing, talking to one another before they spotted Christina driving up and stopping in front of the. "You boys need a ride?" She joked as she had rolled down the window. Dean rushed to the drivers seat and allowed his sister to climb out before he jumped behind the steering wheel.

"Oh I'm so glad to see you in one piece." He said gently stroking the leather molding. "I'm glad you're not hurt either." He said seeing Christina looking rather put out.

"Oh I know." She said sliding into the backseat. "By the way... I don't think Andy's a killer."

"What makes you think that? He stole my car."

"He didn't steal your car. He asked for it and you agreed to it." Christina pointed out as Dean started to drive down the road. "He tried to get me out of the car but I just ignored him. Like he did something weird with his voice and it didn't seem to have an effect over me."

"But that doesn't claim he isn't a killer." Sam said his voice just as confused. "I mean he had called the doctor to jump in front of a bus after I stopped him from shooting that store owner just a few minutes before."

"When was this?" Christina asked, hoping she can provide an alibi for Andy even though he tried to manipulate her.

"About five minutes ago." Sam said looking through the rearview mirror.

"It's not him. Andy was on a cellphone call around that time but he was asking someone out on a date and picking them up at seven tonight. It was the only call he made so unless saying 'Would you go out with me' is code for 'jump in front of a bus' then he's innocent."

Dean and Sam contemplated on what their sister had just said and sighed. "Regardless we need to find Andy. We need to make sure ourselves." Sam said with a heavy sigh.

"Let's go park near his van then." Dean suggested swinging his car and heading in that direction.

"Would you stop so I get some food before then? Some sissy stressed ate my hotdog and he promised me food." Christina said, her voice full of playful teasing.

"Bitch." Dean hissed giving her a glare through the rearview mirror.

"Just stating a fact." Christina said, making Sam stifle a laugh as Dean begrudgingly drove to find a fast food joint.

The Impala was quiet as Christina quietly ate her food while they sat in an empty parking lot keeping an eye on Andy's van. Despite Christina saying he wasn't a killer, both Sam and Dean just couldn't shake that Andy was somehow involved in the case of the Doctor killing himself.

"He's not a killer guys." Christina said gathering up her trash and stuffing it into her food bag. "Even though he makes me feel a little uneasy with the fact he tried to control me, he doesn't look like someone who can hurt a fly. Maybe have someone else kill the fly."

"This isn't time for levity, Christy." Sam said though he knew that Christina wasn't trying to joke. "Someone is dead and I couldn't stop it."

"But you saved someone." Christina pointed out. "The Doctor was supposed to shoot and kill the owner of that shop. You saved him so you thought you were going to save the Doctor. Don't blame yourself. You didn't have a premonition on the Doctor stepping in front of that bus. Did you?"

"No." Sam stated softly. "But I felt like I could have saved him."

"I wish I could save those in my past too, Sam." Christina said gently squeezing Sam's shoulder. "We can't save everyone. In a perfect world we could. But this is not a perfect world."

"She does have a point, Sam." Dean said. "Maybe we can save Andy from turning into another Max."

The car fell into an uncomfortable silence as Dean brought up the kid that telepathically killed his father and uncle while also attempting to kill off his stepmother.

Sam sighed and rubbed his face feeling a little annoyed with what was happening around him. "What else did Andy do when he drove off with Dean's car?"

"He just kept mumbling how annoyed he was that he couldn't get me to do his bidding." Christina said, now that she had eaten, she was looking around to see if she could spot Andy walking up to them. "I mean I heard his voice, kind of like he had a filter on that made it sound like he was some kind of robot but when I didn't 'wake up' as I had to pretend to be asleep he asked me to leave the car but I never had the want to."

"I wonder if it had to do with the fact that you weren't truly asleep or something." Sam suggested looking over at Dean who was looking a little uncomfortable in that car talking about how he wasn't able to overcome Andy's orders to take his car.

"Maybe it's kind of like the Jedi's using their persuasion technic. It may only work on those with a weaker mind." Christina said making Sam let out a chuckle. "What?"

"Just think it's funny how similar you are to me and Dean." He said with a shake feeling a little better after the events that had happened just a few minutes ago. "Dean even called it 'Jedi Mind Trick' when he called me about Andy coming and taking you and the car."

"Well, I'm happy we can laugh about it now." Dean said sounding upset that they were bringing up his short comings. "Let's go and find this Andy kid and get out of here."

"Why do you want me?!" Andy's sudden appearance made everyone in the Impala jump as he he appeared at Sam's opened window.

"We think you're a killer." Dean blurted out as Andy had the same reverb from his powers. Sam and Christina both glared at him while Christina couldn't quite fault him from being so susceptible. "We think you using your powers of manipulation are killing people. Just like that Doctor."

"How do you know about my powers?" Andy asked clearly trying to figure out what was going on.

"We all know about powers. My brother has powers so he knows so he's just like you." Dean said looking desperately for someone to help him but he had said what he had to say.

"Leave me alone." Andy commanded his voice laying on the reverb thickly.

"Yep." Dean reached over to turn the car on but Sam quickly swiped the keys and quickly followed Andy. Christina stayed with her older brother and gently began to squeeze his shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. He looked like he was fighting with something as he fidgeted and fought to keep himself from crying like a baby. "Why is it happening to me?" He asked taking in a slow breath.

"Just breathe, Dean." Christina said gently, slowly wrapping her arms around her brother which seemed to calm him down. "It's not the end of the world. You just have a slight problem being weak against Andy. It's okay. Sam and I are here to help you okay?"

"Okay." Dean stammered feeling like he was completely out of character from his usual macho guy persona.

"When we get done with this case, I'll buy you a few rounds okay?"

"Sounds good. Going to need it." Dean said with a shaky breathe.

"Alright. Come on lets get out and stretch our legs." Christina suggested and Dean agreed climbing out and bending down touching his toes before slowly walking away before walking back.

"Why didn't you or Sam talk. I mean I knew Sam was going to lie about something but I couldn't help but tell him the truth." Dean said.

"I don't know, Dean." Christina said. "But for now it's in the past we can't change it. Let's just focus on something you like. Girls? Booze? Food?"

"I could go for another burger. But I'm not sure it's going to help."

Christina shook her head slowly and pulled her brother into a comforting hug. "You are going to be okay. I don't know how me and Sam are able to resist Andy. But that does not make you less of a person."

Dean slowly nodded when he slowly leaned up against the Impala to take a few deep breathes. He was happy his sister was such a good grounder as he didn't feel as upset as before. "I wonder what happened." He said, feeling a lot better.

"Let's get Sam and Andy and let's find out." Christina suggested waving over at Sam who dragged Andy along with them to make sure they could keep an eye on him.

"So, can I get your name pretty lady?" Andy asked as Christina was forced to sit in the back with her.

"It doesn't work with me." Christina said glaring at Dean as he opened his mouth to talk. "But I will give you one chance to explain how you knew the victim from earlier?"

Andy licked his lips nervously as the woman he tried to hit on was not so pleasant with that murder look in her eyes. "He was my doctor growing up." He said bluntly. "I would see him all the time and he and I are close. He delivered me as a baby so yeah. Kind of a family doctor. My parents has him as their doctor... I mean used to."

"Did anything happen to you when you were a baby? Anything at all?"

"Nothing that I can tell. My parents raised me, I left when I was twenty two and I've been living on my own ever sense." Andy said with a shrug.

"How long have you been able to get people to do your bidding?" Christina asked, surprised that nobody asked about his powers.

"When I turned twenty-two. I left my ID at home and when I told the bouncer to let me in. He did. Then I asked some hot chick for her number and she gave it to me no questions."

Christina looked over at her brothers and even though they knew what he said already, they couldn't believe what he was saying. "Are your parents still alive?" She asked the question Sam and Dean both had as well.

"Yeah. I just spoke to my mom like two hours ago when I told her what had happened." He cleared his throat. "He even helped them with the adoption."

"You were adopted? When?" Sam asked confused at what Andy had said.

"After I was born." Andy said and looked confused at the three siblings. "I knew they weren't my parents when I was younger and I never really wanted to find my birth parents. Why would I since I had a great life with my parents?"

"But weren't you at all curious?" Christina asked.

"I was a little." Andy admitted. "But I figured my birth mom didn't want me. Or that she wanted a better life without me."

"How did it make you feel that she did that?" Christina asked her voice soft as she thought of her own situation.

"I mean, yeah, it hurt that she did leave me, but I was happy she gave me a normal life. I never lacked anything." Andy leaned back in the seat.

Christina moved, so she was leaning on the front seat. It was then they saw firefighters, police and an ambulance surrounding something that was smoking next to a vehicle in the parking lot of a gas station. "What do you think happened?" She asked when Dean pulled to a stop across the street of the gas station.

"I'll find out." Andy said and leaped out before anyone could stop him.

The siblings watched as Andy walked over and asked a police officer to allow him to see the body.

"Sucks that I don't have that skill." Dean joked, knowing he wasn't on the other side of Andy's mind control. "That kind of skill would be extremely useful to get people to allow us to go into certain situations."

"You only want it so you could sleep with anyone." Christina hissed. Dean looked sheepish making his two younger siblings roll their eyes. "If it's another one killing themselves we now can cancel out Andy. He wasn't on the phone in the last hour."

Both of her brothers nodded and watched as Andy briskly walked across the street and climbed back into the backseat of the Impala.

"Police told me the woman killed herself." Andy said handing Sam a zip drive. "Overheard a police officer about a copy of the surveillance and got him to make me one as well."

"The lady just lit herself up? Just like that?" Dean asked.

"Witnesses saw her answer her phone as she was fueling up, she walked away. Then her demeanor changed, doused herself with the gas she was using then, she was a smoker grabbed her lighter and the rest is history."

"When did this happen?" Sam asked opening his laptop and sliding the zip drive into the slot.

"About fifteen minutes ago." Andy said.

"I got good and bad news." Sam said watching the small video of the woman do exactly Andy had said before closing the laptop. "Good news you're off the hook of making these people kill themselves. Bad news, we have someone who can control people through a phone."
