Hello everyone I'm back once again to bring you another chapter of my story; we are nearing the end on this story as there is probably only like 5 or 6 more chapters left. And even thought this is not my most popular story I'm still proud of it and I appreciate all the fans if have made because of it. Virtue and Venom: Chapter 53
With Naruto and the others
Naruto and Sasuke both charged at Habu, Naruto gripping his trench knives and Sasuke wielding his sword and tanto; Habu seeing them come closer charged at them and the battle began.
Naruto slashed at Habu who jumped over him and kicked him in the back of the head sending him stumbling forward before landing and facing Sasuke; Sasuke sent a stab with his sword and Habu side stepped. Sasuke smirked as he charged his body with chakra.
"Chidori stream" Sasuke unleashed lighting chakra from all of his chakra points at once sending out small bolts of lighting in all directions; Habu was hit by the lighting and was shocked and stunned by it. Sasuke using his tanto sent a slash towards Habu's neck; Habu raised up her claws and stopped the slash as the blade and her nails made spars upon contact.
Habu proceeded to kick Sasuke in the chest sending him stumbling back; Naruto seeing Habu's back was turned rushed over and slashed with his trench knife. Naruto aimed a slash at the middle of Habu's back in order to paralyze her; however when his trench knife hit it glided off her black snake skin like bodysuit making him go wide eyed.
Habu without even turning around sent a mule kick which connected under Naruto's chin; Habu followed up by jumping and spinning around seeing a round house to Naruto. Naruto was kick once more in the head and was sent flying across the battlefield; Gaara seeing this made a sand arm and caught Naruto.
"Naruto, are you ok" Gaara asked and Naruto looked at him; Naruto spat out some blood and a front tooth and smiled.
"Did I get her" Naruto asked slightly rocked from the hit.
Mamushi seeing Naruto get kicked away grabbed one of her snakes and pulled it out and straightened it; Mamushi proceeded to throw the snake like a javelin towards Habu as she was fighting Sasuke.
Sasuke sent a slash towards Habu with his sword and Habu blocked it with her claws; Habu was hit in the back by something and she turned her head and saw Mamushi running over with her scythe.
Mamushi swung her scythe towards Habu using the cable to control it as it was in the air; Sasuke seeing this with his sharingan ducked down as the scythe came close. Habu reached out her hand and stopped the scythe with her claws before it could hit her; Sasuke sent a stab towards Habu with his sword and Habu put her arm in front of her.
The sword stabbed into her forearm barely piercing the black snake skin leaving a wound no bigger than the tip of his sword; Habu annoyed at this proceeded to kick Sasuke in the face and he was sent flying through the air until he landed.
Mamushi pulled on her cable yanking her scythe free before jumping in the air and landing next to Sasuke "Sasuke, combo time" Mamushi said and Sasuke nodded.
"Lets fry her" Sasuke said as he got to his feet; both Sasuke and Mamushi went through the same hand signs before stopping.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu" Both Sasuke and Mamushi shouted as they launched two large fireballs towards Habu; Habu went through hand signs and slammed her hand onto the ground.
"Summoning jutsu" Habu shouted; 2 large snakes appeared out of the ground adn wrapped around her. The snakes took the full force hit of the fireballs protecting her; when the fire and smoke died down the 2 snakes appeared slightly burned but still alive. The snaked unwound around Habu and rushed towards Sasuke and Mamushi.
Sasuke and Mamushi waited til the two shakes got close and both opened their jaws and launched themselves towards them; Sasuke and Mamushi jumped to the sides dodging the snakes. Sasuke and Mamushi raised their weapons above their heads and came down on on the 2 snakes cutting off their heads and killing them.
Habu was about to charge towards Sasuke and Mamushi but was stopped when she heard chirping and was attacked from her side; Kakashi rushed forwards with a raikiri covered kunai and thrusted it towards Habu.
Habu dodged to the side but was cut across the stomach by the attack; her black skin suit was but open about four inches drawing blood before both her wound and black skin healed. Habu sent a knee into Kakashi's gut knocking the air out of him and making him lean forward, before slashing at him with her claws; Habu's claws cut through Kakashi's armor tearing into his back.
Habu raised her other claw to strike again but her hand was suddenly grabbed by a pair of snakes as they sunk their fangs into her ; Habu looked behind her and saw the snakes came from Anko's sleeve and she, Orochimaru and Mamushi rushing towards her.
"Get away from him you bitch" Anko shouted as she pulled back on her snakes and Habu came towards her; Anko proceeded to punch Habu across the face before sending a kick to her ribs. Habu grabbed onto Anko's leg and sunk her claws into it before ripping down her calve severing muscle and nerves making her scream.
"ANKO" Kakashi shouted as he got back up and ran towards Habu; Habu hearing this spun around and threw Anko at Kakashi. Kakashi was hit full force with Anko as her 150lb body crashed into his sending them both to the ground; Mamaushi and Orochimaru began to fight Habu as Anko and Kakashi laid on the ground.
"Fucking bitch" Anko said as she held her bleeding leg "at least none of my arteries were cut"; Kakashi looked at her and spoke.
"I'm getting you out of here" Kakashi said as he made a hand sign "Shadow clone jutsu"; a clone of Kakashi appeared and he spoke again. "Go find, Lady Tsunade, Ino, Karin, I don't care; just send more people" Kakashi said and Anko nodded.
"Ok, be safe" Anko said as the clone picked up Anko and ran off back towards the village.
Habu used her claws to block a slash from Orochimaru's Kusanagi and retaliated with a slash of her own using her claws; Orochimaru dodged the slash and countered with a kick which Habu dodged.
Habu slashed at Orochimaru once more and shored a hit cutting open his chest; Orochimaru shed his old body and shot out and landed a few feet away still gripping his sword.
Mamushi swung her scythe towards Habu and Habu ducked under the blades and countered with a punch to Mamushi's gut followed up by a slash across her chest and finishing with a kick to the head sending her to the ground.
Mamushi coughed up blood and Habu was about to kill Mamushi but before she could a wave of sand shot towards her and she had to dodge; Gaara was several yards away controlling his sand and trying to either crush or grab Habu.
Gaara was following Habu and Habu looked at Gaara and opened her mouth; Habu fired a stream of venom at Gaara and Gaara put up a sand wall to protect himself. The venom hit the wall and began to melt the sand as the sand began to crumble down; Habu ran over to engage Gaara but was stopped when she heard a shout.
"Shadow clone jutsu" Naruto shouted as he created 100 shadow clones "I'm not done yet you monster". Naruto looked at his clones and shouted "get her boys" he shouted as Naruto and his 100 charged toward Habu who smiled.
"This is getting more and more fun" Habu said with a psychotic smile.
A few miles away: With Ino, Tsunade, Sai, Hinata and Karin
Ino dodged a punch from a white Zetsu clone and countered with several fast punches to the face and stomach before sending the clone flying backwards. Ino looked around as she saw Tsunade and the others all fighting the remaining white Zetsu clones.
Ino and her group found Tsunade and Hinata fighting a horde of White Zetsu clones; Temari took Tayuya to find Shizune in order to get her healed. Ino, Karin and Sai stayed behind to help out Tsunade; but from the looks of it she didn't need any help.
"Raaaah" Tsunade roared as she delivered a powerful punch to a Zetsu exploding it's body from the force of the blow; Tsunade was breathing slightly and stood straight up and looked around. Hinata took out another clone with a juken strike, Sai decapitated another clone with his sword and Karin impaled several with her chains.
"Looks like that's the last of them" Tsunade said and the others looked at her "come on lets-"; Tsunade stopped mid sentence as she heard a shout.
"Lady Tsunade" Anko shouted while being carried by Kakashi's clone; the clone ran up and put Anko on the ground before dispelling. "I can use a little help here" Anko said pointing to her shredded leg.
"Oh hell" Tsunade said as she knelt down next to Anko; Ino and Karin ran over and Ino spoke up.
"What happened" Ino asked and Anko groaned as Tsunade began to heal her leg.
"Habu, that bitch did this to me" Anko said through gritted teeth "Kakashi, Mamushi, Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara and Orochimaru are still fighting her; but we're getting our asses kicked". "S-she has some kind of snake skin armor; we can't penetrate it easily and it heals her and reforms in a few seconds" Anko said "we were in the Yamanaka flower fields"; Tsunade hearing this finished healing up Anko leg and spoke.
"You're in no condition to fight Anko" Tsunade said before turning to Karin "Karin, take her to the Hokage tower; Hinata and Sai, go with her to protect her".
"Yes, Lady Tsunade" Karin said as she reached down and helped Anko to her feet with Anko getting up with a noticeable limp.
"Ino, with me; lets end this once and for all" Tsunade said and Ino nodded.
"Lets go" Ino said; Ino and Tsunade both rushed over to where Anko said Naruto and the others were.
Karin looked on as the two blondes left the area and she felt worry 'please get there in time' Karin thought; Karin looked at Hinata and Sai and spoke "lets get to the tower".
With Naruto and the others
Naruto and his clones were all fighting Habu trying to overwhelm her by using sheer numbers; however Habu was proving to be more than capable as she slashed and stabbed the clones dispelling them at a fast rate.
Naruto slashed at Habu in rapid succession and Habu used her claws to block his trench knives; Naruto slashed with his right knives and Habu blocked it with her claws. Naruto followed up with a kick from his right leg aimed at Habu's ribs; Naruto's kick landed and Habu coughed up a little bit of blood.
Habu's snake skin armor absorbed most of the impact and Habu attempted to slash Naruto's leg like she did with Anko; Naruto seeing this pulled his leg back avoiding her claws. Habu seeing she missed her chance jumped back and was swarmed by Naruto's clones.
Habu seeing the clones amass around her jumped into the air and went through hand signs 'Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu'; Habu fired a massive fireball down onto the clones incinerating them and any other surrounding them.
Habu was in the air when she saw a tendril of sand coming towards her; Gaara controlled his sand and slammed it into Habu sending her back to the ground. Habu hit the ground hard and Gaara began to cover her with his sand.
"Sand Coffin" Gaara said as he extended his hand "sand-"; before he could close hand the sand covering Habu exploded as another giant snake appeared with Habu on top of it.
Habu turned towards Gaara and ordered her snake to engage him "Get him" Habu growled out and the snake charged towards Gaara; Gaara readied his sand and launched a massive sand wave towards Habu and her snake.
The Snake coiled itself like a spring and shot itself over the sand wave before going down towards Gaara; Gaara jumped out of the way as the snake landed with a loud crash and shaking the earth.
Gaara sent his sand towards the snake and formed it into spikes; the sand impaled the snake and that's when Gaara realized Habu wasn't on it.
Habu was above Gaara using the bat like wings she got when she absorbed Sasuke's curse mark; Habu flew down at max speed catching Gaara off guard. Habu put her claws in front of her and ran them through Gaara; Gaara and Habu flew several yards before slamming into a tree with Habu's claws sinking in and pinning Gaara to the tree.
Gaara groaned and coughed up blood as Habu looked at him with a scowl "You're lucky we need you alive" she said before snapping off her nails leaving them inside Gaara. Habu's nails regrew as she turned around and saw both Mamushi and Orochimaru rushing towards her.
Orochimaru reached Habu first sending a slash towards her using his Kusanagi and Habu blocked the slash with her claws; Orochimaru used his free hand to grab onto Habu's arm and proceeded to thrown her across the clearing to get her away from Gaara.
Habu landed on her feet as Mamushi closed the distance and swung her scythe several times trying to decapitate her; Habu ducked and dodged the attacks before going in at attacking Mamushi.
Mamushi's back snake seeing Habu coming towards her launched out in an attempt to bit Habu; Habu brought up her claws and decapitated the snake before it could bite her. The snake vanished in a puff of smoke but Mamushi wasn't going to stop; Mamushi swung her fist at Habu hitting her in the jaw before following up with an attack with her scythe.
Mamushi's three bladed scythe hit Habu in the side and would've pierced through if she didn't have that black snake skin; however the attack broke several of Habu's ribs sending her to the ground. Mamushi seeing Habu was on the ground stood above her and raised her scythe above her head ready to finish her.
Habu in an instant opened her mouth and launched out a stream of venom hitting Mamushi in the face.
Mamushi screamed as she dropped her scythe and grabbed her face "MY EYES" Mamushi shouted in pain; Habu's venom would normally melt anything it landed on, however Mamushi's snake sage mode nullified most of the effects. Now the venom was more like a more intense pepper spray blinding Mamushi and giving Habu an opportunity.
Habu grabbed Mamushi's scythe and swung it towards Mamushi; Habu was swinging it from the ground so the angle was off as the first and second blade missed Mamushi but the third blade hit. Mamushi was hit under about six inches under her armpit piercing her lung and making her cough up blood; Habu let go of the scythes handle and got up quickly before kicking Mamushi in the face and sending her onto the ground.
Orochimaru seeing this felt his blood run cold as he saw Mamushi hit the ground; Orochimaru gritted his teeth as she charged over to Habu at full speed and gripping his sword.
"Get away from my daughter" Orochimaru shouted as he swung his sword towards Habu; Habu caught off guard saw the blade coming towards her head and ducked back. The Kusanagi cut Habu across the cheek just an inch under her left eye; Habu reached out and grabbed Orochimaru's arm by the wrist and gripped hard.
Habu brought up her knee and hit Orochimaru's elbow breaking his arm and making him lose his grip on his weapon; Habu saw the Kusanagi falling and grabbed it in mid air and gripped it by it's handle.
Habu used the Kusanagi to stab Orochimaru in the gut before pulling it out and stabbing him again in the chest; Orochimaru coughed up blood as Habu was about to pull out the sword. As Habu began to pull the sword out Orochimaru grabbed onto her arm and smirked.
"G-got you" Orochimaru said his mouth full of blood; Habu looked confused until she heard something from her side.
Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi were all rushing towards them in a line formation; Sasuke in the front with a chidori, Naruto in the middle with a rasengan and Kakashi in the rear with a raikiri.
Habu kicked Orochimaru away and turned to face them but was too late as Sasuke was too close "CHIDORI" Sasuke roared as he plunged the lightning jutsu into Habu's stomach piercing her snake skin armor a little bit and drawing blood. Sasuke kicked her in the chest making her stumble back before jumping out of the way and Naruto approaching.
"Take this; RASENGAN" Naruto shouted as he plunged the spiral chakra sphere into the spot where Sasuke just hit; Naruto's jutsu tore through Habu's snake skin armor and began to dig into her flesh. Habu was sent flying backwards into a large tree as Kakashi approached last.
"RAIKIRI" Kakashi shouted as he plunged the raikiri covered kunai into Habu's abdomen piercing through Habu completely; Habu vomited up blood and Kakashi had a victorious smirk on his face. However Habu proceeded to grab onto his arm and glare at him.
"F-f-fuck you" Habu ground out before opening her mouth; Habu proceeded to spit her venom onto Kakashi hitting him in the chest and neck area. Kakashi jumped back as the venom quickly began to melt through his mask and jonin vest.
"Gaaah" Kakashi screamed in pain as smoke began to come off of him "get it off, get it off of me"; Kakashi reached to his left shoulder and grabbed the emergency release cord for his armor. Kakashi's pulled the cord and vest fell to pieces and Kakashi stumbled back before falling to the ground; Kakashi had nasty burns on his neck and chest as he wasn't fast enough in taking off his armor.
"Kakashi sensei" Naruto shouted as he looked at his now wounded sensei before looking back at Habu who was healing at a fast rate; Habu healed in about 30 seconds but she looked winded as the amount of chakra to constantly heal herself must be draining.
"Naruto, it's up to you and me now" Sasuke said as he drew both of his blades and Naruto nodded "we have to stop her".
Naruto nodded and grabbed his trench knives "lets roll" Naruto said; both Naruto and Sasuke rushed towards Habu and Habu got into a defensive stance. Naruto and Sasuke both attacked simultaneously as they swung their blades at Habu trying to land a blow on her; Habu was using her claws to defend against both Naruto and Sasuke as they began to push her back.
Habu blocked a slash from Sasuke only to be stabbed in her side from Naruto; when she tried to hit Naruto, Sasuke charged his tanto with lightning chakra and slashed her across the chest. Sasuke's blade cut through her black snake skin like nothing proving that her chakra was running low; Habu feeling this sting of the cut turned towards Sasuke and attacked.
Habu sent a kick towards Sasuke and hit him under the chin knocking his head up; Habu sent a slash towards Sasuke and Naruto saw this and he grabbed Habu and pulled her towards him but it wasn't enough.
Habu's claw hit Sasuke in the neck and nicked an artery making Sasuke go wide eyed and fall on his back; Sasuke grabbed onto his neck as blood squirted out of him putting pressure on the artery as he tried to slow the bleeding. Sasuke rolled around on the ground gasping and gagging as he tried to stop the bleeding.
"Bitch" Naruto shouted as he slashed at Habu but Habu grabbed onto his arm before it could make contact; Habu pulled Naruto close and proceeded to knee him in the gut knocking the wind out of him. Naruto hunched forward and Habu raised her elbow and elbowed Naruto in the back of the neck sending waves of pain through his body as she hit his brain stem nearly breaking it and paralyzing him. Naruto's Kurama mode flickered before cutting off and he began to fall.
Naruto fell to the ground twitching but still conscious and Habu stood above him with a smile on her face "finally… all done" Habu said as she looked around; Mamushi and Kakashi were both down, Gaara was pinned to a tree, and Orochimaru and Sasuke were on deaths door as they were bleeding out. "Looks like I win again" Habu said looking down at Naruto who was barely conscious "I can't wait to take you home and-".
Habu was suddenly knocked away and sent flying across the field before stopping and getting to her feet "what the hell" Habu shouted only to see Tsunade flying towards her with her leg extended to kick her.
Tsunade kicked Habu once more and Habu was sent skidding across the ground; Habu was now on her back and about to get up until Tsunade appeared over her with her fist cocked back.
"Stay down" Tsunade shouted as she punched Habu in the face full force cracking the ground under Habu; Habu's spat out blood and tried to defend herself but Tsunade got on top of her and kept on attacking Habu not giving her a chance to counter.
Tsunade sent punch after punch into Habu each punch sounding like a crack of lighting; Naruto was looking over barely conscious 'g-granny Tsunade' Naruto thought.
"Hold on Sasuke" came a voice and Naruto barely able to move turned his head; Naruto saw Ino kneeling over Sasuke and trying to stop the bleeding from Sasuke's neck. Naruto then saw another Ino tending to Orochimaru as she began to heal both of his sword wounds.
"Naruto" came Ino's voice again as another Ino landed next to him "it's me Naruto, it's Ino"; Naruto realized what was going on. Ino was using shadow clones to help out the others.
"I-Ino" Naruto said weakly and Ino nodded.
"It's me baby, I'm here" Ino said brushing his hair from his face.
"I-is she dead" Naruto asked and Ino looked over to where Tsunade was; Tsunade was still pounding Habu mercilessly.
"I think she almost is" Ino said and Naruto grabbed her hand and looked at her with eyes full of determination.
"Take me to her" Naruto said and Ino nodded as she helped Naruto up.
"Bitch" Tsunade shouted as she punched Habu again; Habu's face was swollen and had blood flowing out of her eyes, ears, mouth and nose showing that she had bleeding in the brain. Tsunade proceeded to wrap her hands around Habu's neck and began to strangle her; Habu looked at at the snarling face of Tsunade as she her world was about to go dark.
"Wait" came a voice and Tsunade let go and Habu began to cough and gag; Tsunade and Habu looked over and saw Naruto walking over with Ino's help. Naruto was barely able to stand as he gripped one of his trench knives "she's mine" he said.
Tsunade didn't hesitate as she got off of Habu and took a step back "go ahead brat; you earned the right I finish her off… especially after what she did". Naruto nodded and kneeled next to Habu who was on the ground; Naruto, Ino and Tsunade all looked at the broken body of Habu.
She was a threat of which they never seen before; now she laid in a puddle of her blood and fluids.
Naruto looked Habu in the eyes and began to speak "after what you did, to Mamushi, to the village… to me; you deserve a lot worse than this" Naruto growled out "but… I won't let you break me, I won't let you control me". Naruto charged his trench knife with wind chakra "I'll remember you for the rest of my life, that scar will never heal; but at least I'll know that you are no longer out there and your evil ends here" he said.
Habu looked at Naruto and began to laugh like he just told a funny joke "I'll always be here… one way or another" Habu said through her broken jaw and damaged tongue "you stopped nothing". Naruto scowled and raised his trench knife above his head and Habu smiled; as the blade came down Habu had one final thought running through her mind.
Habu was holding Tokara in her arms with Fu watching over her shoulder; it was then replaced with a thought of Konan holding Tokara. 'Tokara… I'm sorry; mommy's not coming home' Habu thought as a single tear fell from her eye.
Naruto's trench knife severed Habu's head from her body as it rolled several feet away in front of Tsunade; Tsunade not wanting to take and chances raised her foot and stomped down on the head splattering it like a watermelon.
"I-it's over" Naruto said as tears began to roll down his cheeks "it's finally over"; Naruto's eyes rolled to the back of his head and he began to fall over but Ino caught him.
"Naruto" Ino shouted as she held him; Naruto had clear liquid coming from his nose and hsi ears "he has a brain injury".
"Get him to the aid station; now" Tsunade shouted as Ino picked up Naruto and both women exited the hole Habu was in; once they exited the whole Tsunade turned around real quick and made a single hand sign.
'Fire Style: Magestic flame jutsu' Tsunade unleashed a stream of fire hitting Habu's headless corpse setting it ablaze; Tsunade turned around and ran to provide medical attention as Habu's body burned to nothing.
The next day: Konoha aid station
Naruto opened his eyes to see the top of the medical tent and groaned as his head was pounding "oh god, my head" he said.
"Naruto, thank god" Ino said as she ran over form another cot to Naruto's cot "are you ok".
"My head hurts; what happened" Naruto said and Ino spoke.
"You suffered a severe concussion; you passed out" Ino said and Naruto's eyes widened.
"H-Habu, is she-" Naruto began.
"She's dead, you killed her and Lady Tsunade burned her corpse" Ino said with a smile as Ashe rubbed Naruto's cheek "it's over Naruto… she can't hurt you or anyone else anymore".
Naruto began to shake and tear up until he reached out and hugged Ino who hugged him back "i-it's over" Naruto sobbed out; after a few seconds Naruto let go and took some breaths "I'm good, I'm good".
"Open up Mamushi" came a voice to Naruto's far left; Naruto and Ino looked over to see Sasuke spoon feeding Mamushi ice cream as both of her eyes were bandaged up. Mamushi opened her mouth and took a bite.
"Vanilla, a tried and true classic" Mamushi said.
"Hey guys" Naruto said as he walked over with Ino's help.
"Naruto hey how's it going; I heard you killed Habu, great job" Mamushi said with a smile looking ahead "sorry I can't look at you, I'm blind from the venom; my eyes are healing though". Mamushi took in a deep breath and sighed "but from what Lady Tsunade said, I might need reading glasses"; Naruto chuckled at this and spoke.
"Don't feel bad Mamushi; glasses on girls is kinda cute" Naruto said and Sasuke scoffed; Sasuke has his neck wrapped in bandages and there was still a little red spot where his blood was leaking out while his neck healed.
"No shit you'd think that; knocked up Karin" Sasuke said and Naruto looked at him with a tic mark.
"Hey you dick, it was a one time thing" Naruto shouted and Sasuke flipped him off.
"Boys, boys, enough" Ino said trying to defuse the situation.
"How's Kakashi sensei and the others" Naruto asked and Ino spoke.
"Kakashi sensei has burns on his neck and chest from the venom, Anko's leg is still hard to walk on, Orochimaru is alive but in intensive care and Gaara was punctured multiple times but didn't lose that much blood" Ino said and Naruto smiled.
"That's great to hear" Naruto said but Ino shook her head "what".
"Lord third died in battle" Ino said and Naruto's heart stopped for a second "he died trying to take out the path he was fighting… I'm sorry Naruto". Naruto had tears running down his face and he looked at Ino.
"Take me to him; I want to see him" Naruto said and Ino nodded; Ino began to lead Naruto away leaving Mamushi and Sasuke alone.
"Hey Sasuke" Mamushi said and Sasuke looked at her "can you take me to see… d-dad, later". "Oh man it feels so weird saying that" Mamushi said; Mamushi remembered when Orochimaru called her 'my daughter' when she was hurt and has been feeling weird about it.
"You seriously want to build a bond with him" Sasuke said curiously "I mean… he's… Orochimaru".
"I know, but… he's still my dad, I guess" Mamushi said and Sasuke sighed "I have to try at least… just to see". "What do you think" Mamushi asked.
Sasuke smiled and leaned in giving her a kiss on the lips "I'll support you on what ever you want to do" he said and Mamushi smiled.
"Thanks Sasuke" Mamushi said and Sasuke nodded "can we go for a walk".
"Sure" Sasuke said as he helped Mamushi up and they began to walk through the medical tent passing all the injured ninja laying around them.
Meanwhile: With Konan and Tokara
Konan was sitting in a grassy meadow using her paper to make different animal shapes above Tokara; Tokara was laughing and clapping as she saw this and Konan smiled.
'Such an innocent soul' Konan thought with a smile 'how is she related to Habu; I will never know'. Konan was about to reform her paper until a bug landed on her finger; it was a rhinoceros beetle with what looked like seven tails 'huh… never seen a bug like this before'.
"Hello Ms. Konan; I have been searching for you" The beetle said and Konan jumped back with Tokara in her arms and the bug took flight; Konan looked at the bug wide eyed and spoke.
"A talking bug" Konan said in surprise while holding Tokara.
"I am the seven tailed beetle; the one that was sealed inside Fu" Chomei said making Konan go wide eyed "My chakra was removed from Fu but my soul remained within her".
"What are you here for, revenge" Konan said as she formed several paper shuriken "I'm sure I can kill a bug with ease".
"Calm yourself woman" Chomei said "I am here to tell you some horrible news; Fu, Mistress Habu, Lord Pein, Madara and Zetsu were all killed in Konoha". Konan hearing this fell to her knees while holding Tokara who began to cry "I came back here to inform you of their deaths and to honor Fu's wishes".
"What wish" Konan said still in shock from the news.
"Fu loved that child like she was her own daughter and she would've protected her at any cost" Chomei said "I wish to do the same; I came to have myself sealed inside of the child".
"What?Why" Konan asked and Chomei spoke.
"If you seal me inside her and give me my chakra back, we can both raise her to protect herself" Chomei said and Konan went wide eyed "We both wish to honor our fallen loved ones, so seal me inside her and free my brethren from their bondage". "You are the last of the Akatsuki and the last one to pass on it's purpose" Chomei said "Peace throughout the ninja world, end wars and prevent suffering… and that child in your arms can be the one to bring it".
Konan looked down at the crying Tokara and began to rock her calming her down as the baby clung onto Konan's robe; Konan brushed the child's cheek and nodded. "Ok; lets do it" Konan said before looking at Chomei " for Yahiko and Nagato".
"For Fu and Mistress Habu" Chomei said as she landed on Tokara's forehead and the baby began to giggle from the touch "Don't worry child; you are not alone, we are here for you".
