Chapter 22

The weeks went away quickly with the tour they had begun. Mina was now officially the boss of Witch Gear Creation and she was working hard with every wrestlers to give their outfits a new dimension to fit their characters even more. Her creativity was at its climax, and she was literally living in a world of drawings and fabrics. Despite giving everyone the illusion of being perfectly happy, she knew she was just burying herself into work to forget about Damian. After the celebration he had avoided her, she could only briefly see him in the corridors or if he had something work-related to tell her, even the segments were showing them avoiding each other. She was still wearing the bracelet he had gifted her, hoping him to notice she was really ready to talk to him and maybe give him a second chance if he wanted to take it; but nothing happened. She had discussed it with Seth and Becky while asking advice for her back, both said that it was maybe time for her to move on.

Damian was avoiding Mina at the gym, as usual, he stayed at the opposite corner of the room from where she was, hoping she would not notice him. He had to move on, he knew it. How could he make her happy again after what he did to her? That's why he gave Finn the authorisation to date Mina, he knew that she would probably be happier with the Irish man. He was more easy-going, less sad and a natural cuddler. He could still watch her be happy from afar, looking after her like a guardian angel. For sure it would hurt him, but at least she would be safe from Liv or him. He was feeling miserable for not trying to explain her, but he had promised himself to never make her cry, and he did it twice. "You lied, Mina, as much as I love you, I don't deserve you to love me back." Rhea and Dominik had tried to change his mind, to make him believe that he was taking the wrong decision, but he knew that nothing would be the same ever if she accepted to give him a second chance. Something was broken and he was responsible.

RAW had just ended and while they were packing their stuff to go back to the hotel, Finn was breathing anxiously, walking towards Mina's workshop. He hadn't done what he was going to do in what seemed ages to him. He had quickly traded his gears for jeans and shirt and left the locker room before any of his friends could notice him. He knocked at the door and found Mina folding the gears that couldn't be repaired at the time. He found her pretty with her ankle long black skirt and grey shirt linked together with a huge leather belt, a black blazer completing the look that could have been very formal if her mane wasn't tangled with dozens of threads. She smiled warmly at him and hugged him tight.

- "Hum, there is something I want to ask you" he started. Seeing that she was looking at him with curiosity he continued. "Would you agree to hang out with me tonight, going to a nice restaurant and spend some time together?"

- "Finn, I don't know if it is a good idea, you know. I like you a lot, but I don't want it to be awkward if it doesn't work." She answered

- "So let's give it a try, if we feel like it doesn't work, we will stop it there and nothing will be weird." He said with his brightest smile.

- "If you say so, will you give me the time to have a shower and get changed at the hotel before going?" Mina asked, surrendering to his face she could not resist.

- "All the time you need baby girl, even if you are always beautiful" he said before leaving, making the seamstress blush heavily.

He went back to the club house, his walk more hoppy than usual and a huge smile crossing his face. The drive back to the hotel and the waiting for Mina to be ready had seemed both extremely long and incredibly short to Finn. He took his time to book a table in a restaurant and find some other activity to do but after that, anxiety was driving him crazy. He was looking forward to see the beautiful seamstress who had caught his eye since day one but at the same time feared that he would mess up and ruin his chance with her. When the time came for him to go to her room and take her to their rendezvous, he breathed deeply to take courage, waiting for her to open her door.

- "You look stunning, baby girl" he said.

She was now wearing a long tight black dress with a low cut letting guess how generously built she was, her amethyst necklace falling right at the beginning of her breasts, driving the eyes to her shapes. Finn had to focus hard to not to stare and keep his dirty thought away.

- "Thank you, bear." She giggled. "You are handsome too."

He guided her to his rental car and proceeded to drive to the restaurant. He had picked up a nice one with quality food and service but not too fancy, knowing very well how Mina was unease with luxury. He loved that side of her. He was not into extravagant ladies or gold diggers, Mina was natural and genuine, sometimes a little wild, eager for freedom and that made her even more desirable to his eyes. They talked about many things during the dinner and Finn couldn't help but drinking her words. It was the first time they were that close, just the two of them. He also explained to her where his passion for wrestling came from and how he was enjoying his life, and he was glad that he could meet such amazing people, especially her. Mina blushed heavily and focused on her plate. Finn for sure could win her in a heartbeat if it wasn't for Damian. She sighed deeply at this thought. Damian had made his decision and visibly didn't want her anymore, otherwise he would have talked to her, right? Becky and Seth were right, it was time to move on and start something new with someone else, and maybe this someone came with a contagious smile, ice-blue eyes and a lovable and thick Irish accent.

Once they had paid for their dinner and were back to Finn's rental car, there was an awkward moment of silence, broken by Finn.

- "If you have time, lass, I would like to extend the night a little bit."

- "Sure thing, bear. The night is too lovely to go back already" She answered with glittering eyes.

- "I know the perfect place in this case." He said with a grin.

He started the car and drove through the entire city to leave it, Mina being more and more curious and excited by the view of forests and hills that was moving in front of her eyes. Finn knew at this exact moment that his choice of place for tonight's date was the good one. He couldn't stop looking at Mina when he parked the car in front of a forest, her face was lighting up with happiness, nature had this effect on her, the farm girl who didn't have another choice but to go to live in a city. She had kept this wild part in her, and that was the reason why she loved wrestling so much, it allowed her to move, climb, scream all she wanted. Her experience at the farm also gave her a physical strength she just had to bring back. To his eyes, Mina was perfect, even if her music tastes were sometimes giving him headaches. They walked for a several minutes before ending to the edge of the hill, showing a wonderful view of the landscape, the city being nothing but a little light dot among the forests and hills.

- "Oh Finn! It's beautiful" she said, taking his hand.

- "I knew you would like it, this place is just like you, lass, wild, free and insanely beautiful" he answered with a smile bringing her hand to his lips and kissing it.

Mina blushed heavily, thankfully hidden by the darkness of the place. Finn was definitely full of surprises. She knew he was a kind and loving man but ignored how romantic he could be, she liked his shyness and how he was constantly making sure everything was perfect, everything seemed so natural, even more since the month she had spent with him at his home. She turned her head towards the landscape, admiring the cloudless sky showing its billions of stars.

Noticing her interests for the sky, Finn stood up behind her, wrapping her shoulders with his powerful arms and resting his head on hers. His felt his own heartbeat racing as she snuggled closer to him, suddenly wanting everything of her. Fearing she would notice the storm inside his body he moved his head to her shoulders, allowing more space between her back and his body.

- "Do you know these stars? He asked her

- "Not really" she admitted. "It the first time I actually take the time to look at… Look! A shooting star!" she shouted in excitement before closing her eyes to make a wish.

Finn chuckled before closing his eyes too, this night was perfect: he got a date with the woman he had feelings for, she enjoyed both the restaurant and the place he had taken her to and now a shooting star granted him a wish. What could he ask for? He wanted to kiss her so badly, to taste her lips, her tongue, feeling her warmth against his body, be intoxicated with her delicious smell, everything. He wanted her to be his. He removed his arms from around her shoulders and softly made her face him. She was looking in his eyes, piercing his soul with her shiny emerald eyes, could he kiss her now? What if she refused? What if she didn't like it? Did he really have the right to? He was asking himself a hundred questions while cupping her chin with his hand. Deciding to give hell to all his concerns he leaned forward and gently pressed his lips on hers. Her lips were soft, having a delicious, sweet taste making him want more. She wrapped her arms behind his neck to deepen the kiss, pressing her lips stronger against his. He let out a little moan before setting her free, looked at her and gave her the sweetest smile he could.

- "M'sorry baby girl, I couldn't resist" he said with guilty eyes.

- "You are all forgiven bear" she answered before tiptoeing to kiss him again.

Screw Damian, screw Liv, screw love, screw everything, she just wanted to do it, just wanted to kiss the man that was making her feel good at the moment, just wanted to get over everything else. Finn was a good man, she could trust him, he was attractive and caring, she could fall for him, that's all she needed to know.

First surprised by her actions, Finn opened his eyes widely, and tensed up. Mina's lips pressing harder on his and her tongue delicately brushing his lips made him relax and he closed his eyes, slightly parting his lips to let her in. Her tongue was soft and sweet, nicely toying with his. He leaned forward and put one of his hands on her cheek while wrapping the other one around her waist to bring her closer to him. He wanted to feel her body against his, feel her warmth, her curves, her. He heard her moan when his tongue demanded access to her mouth making him breathe heavily, he tasted everything he could of her, she was his. He finally let her go, both catching their breath and grinning at each other before he started to kiss and gently lick her neck, lowering his kisses more and more, if the weather was not that cold, he could have had sex with her right here right now. He heard Mina shivering and groaning under his heated kisses, grabbing his hair and stroking his back; he let one of his hand go down from her shoulder to her generous butt and cupped it while still grabbing her waist.

They had come back at the hotel and Finn was kissing Mina goodbye before heading to his own room.

- "Did you enjoy the night?" he asked innocently.

- "A lot" she simply answered, already blushing at the thought of what happened earlier.

- "Will you allow me another date?" he tried with a grin.

- "Yes Finn, I would like to see you again" she joked. "Thank you for tonight."

- "No, thank you baby girl" He softly said before pecking her lips one last time and going to his room.

Once showered and lying down on his bed he let his mind wander to Mina, sweet, beautiful, lovely Mina. He had been falling for her from the very start and the more he got the know her, the more she dug herself a place into his solid heart. He had learnt his lesson in the past, being romantic is not easy when you are famous; he had always managed to protect himself from being hurt, but she destroyed all the shields he had build around his heart without even trying. He had let Damian take his chance to make her happy, he failed. Now was the time for him to put himself first and finally be happy and make the woman he loved happy. Mina's kiss had awakened something within him that made him deeply happy; just thinking about tonight made him hard. He wanted more, more of her, he wanted her under him, wanted to make her moan and scream with pleasure, to make her cum hard, to see her drunk of him. Unable to hold it more, he got rid of his boxers and started stroking himself, eyes closed, imagining everything he could do to her. When he came in his hand eventually, letting out a groan, he took all the measure of how much he desired her.

On her bed, Mina was looking at the ceiling, she had put on her pyjamas and removed her make-up, thousands of thoughts crossed her mind at that moment. Most of them were about Finn, the nice and sweetest Finn. He had always been the one she had felt the most secure with, she couldn't explain why but he exhaled a sweet sensation of security and warmth. For sure she liked him, but to which point? She had cracked and kissed him pretty wildly, allowing him to touch her and she liked it, she had surprised herself wanting more; but something felt wrong. Even if his kisses were delightful, they felt out of the world. She had kissed him again because the first image that came to her mind the first time his lips touched hers was Damian; stupid, cruel, handsome Damian she wanted to forget about. She tried to erase him with Finn's lips, it did work for a moment. Why was she so attached to him? He lied to her, cheated on her, she had been injured because of him, but she was still attached, maybe in love. Finn was different, but it wasn't the same, as good as he might be, he was not and will never be Damian and this thought made her sad. Why did she have to fall in love with the liar when she wanted the secure guy?

Mina let out a long sigh and grabbed the bracelet that was on her nightstand, ready to throw it away. She noticed a strange light when she passed it under her night light, like if it was projecting images on the nightstand. She switched off the light and turned on the flashlight of her phone to illuminate the bracelet. The tried the charms one by one but nothing happened, until she found out the weird reflection came from the heart. She sat on her bed, face to the white wall and stuck the flashlight to the heart. The white, empty wall was now full of words and shapes, dancing on it as she moved the charms. She gathered herself to stop shaking and could finally read the shadow plays that were projected on the wall; she could read "I love you" in many languages, recognizing English, German, Spanish, something that looked like Chinese and other languages she didn't know. Next to this list she saw a four leaves clover, a spool of thread, and read "To the one that repaired my torn heart with her thread of love and tenderness". Mina gasped and dropped the bracelet as tears came to her eyes. Gathering her courage, she looked at it again, a drawing of both oh them smiling and holding hands appeared on the wall, followed by the lyrics of many songs they both like and considered theirs.

"Never opened myself this way, Life is ours, we live it our way, All these words I don't just say. And nothing else matters." Metallica of course, his favourite band.

"I'd give a kingdom, For one more day as a king of your world, I'd give a kingdom, For one more day" Sonata Arctica, a band she liked for their sad love songs. Tears began to roll freely down her cheeks.

"I'm not strong enough to stay away, Can't run from you, I just run back to you, Like a moth I'm drawn into your flame, Say my name, But it's not the same. You look in my eyes, I'm stripped of my pride, And my soul surrenders, And you bring my heart to it's knees." Apocalyptica, this was too much for her. She cried out loud and began hitting the bed with her fist, torn between sadness and rage.

She didn't know that behind the wall was Damian's room. He heard everything, her cries, her hits, her questions. He was surprised to constat that her room was next to his. He felt a hole being pierced through his heart but had to resist. Mina was beyond sad, unable to move on what she just saw. She finally laid down on her bed and looked at the ceiling.

- "Damian, I don't understand you anymore, what do you want?"
