Hey there,
I'm back with a new story idea! It's inspired by 'Baby Daddy' and could be multi-chapter depending on your interest.
In this fic, Donna and Harvey don't know each other. Mike and Harvey are friends, and Mike is with Rachel, just like in the show.
Hope you enjoy it

Harvey is walking back to the office after a meeting with a client. He decided to take a walk today, needing time to think. It's been a lot lately: Mike and Jessica's betrayal, the merger he didn't want, and then there was Stephen Huntley, who had ordered the murders. He hasn't had a second to process it all. Even though he and Mike are on good terms again, it still bothers him sometimes. Deep down, he knows Mike is sorry and he trusts him, but there's still a bit of doubt that lingers and he wants to get rid of it, because he knows how much Mike is trying to regain his trust back and proof that he's sorry.
And then there's Scottie. Their breakup hurt him more than he let the others see, maybe even more than he wants to admit to himself. He tried, he really did, but it wasn't meant to be. She doesn't get him, doesn't get what he needs, and he can't give her what she needs. She should know he tried, that he cares about her but obviously she doesn't. He even told her he wanted her in his life. What more does she expect from him? However, It's over now, anyway. It's just that he misses her, and the last thing he wanted was to hurt her. But they need different things in a relationship. For him, it's more space and not having to share everything with her and for her, it's the exact opposite.
It is always like that, he can never make a woman stay, 'what is wrong with me?' he asks himself.
He is pulled from his thoughts when his phone rings. "Mike, what is it? Is the firm going under because I've been gone for a second?"
"Well, something like that. All the associates are leaving because you don't care about them, and all the partners resigned because they're jealous of you."
"You're an idiot. So, what's going on?"
"Nothing, I just wanted to see if you wanted to grab some drinks this evening. Rachel's meeting with a friend, and I thought we could talk." Harvey hesitates. He wants to say yes but still isn't sure how to handle things with Mike. The easy banter they once had is gone, and neither of them dares to joke around like before. Mike knows Harvey doesn't fully trust him yet, but he's determined to prove himself to his friend. "Harvey?" Mike prompts after a moment of silence. "Uh, sorry. Yeah, sure, why not," Harvey agrees. "Great, see you later," Mike says and hangs up.
"He agreed?" Rachel asks with a smile. "Yeah, he's still disappointed, but I think he's getting over it."
"Pretty sure. Otherwise, he wouldn't work with you, Mike."
"Well, he did call me an idiot a minute ago," Mike smiles and sounds kind of happy, maybe there's a bit of proud in his voice.
"You two are so strange," she laughs. "I bet you're the only ones who see being called an idiot as a good sign. For everyone else, it's different."
"That's because everyone else is boring," he says, kissing her. "See you later."
"Bye, Mike," she says as he leaves her office.
… … …
As Harvey hangs up he walks towards the zebra to cross the street. But as he turns his head to the right, he sees a car speeding on the street and he instinctively knows he'll ignore the zebra. There is a woman on the phone who's about to cross the street. Harvey acts like in lightning speed. He calls out loud for her to watch out and rushes towards her. He manages to grab her just in time before entering the street and they both fall to the ground.
"What the hell!" the woman snaps and looks after the car which doesn't stop and than at Harvey.
"Thank you" she tells him lovely and gets up.
"Are you okay?" he asks while he puts his hand on the floor to brace himself to get up. But as soon as he tries he groans and his arm gives up beneath him, so he falls to the ground again moaning slightly.
"Easy" she says "you need a doctor" she tells him, helping him up and looks at him. They lock eyes, feeling an unexpected bond. For a few moments they both are like paralyzed. The woman gathers herself pretty fast again, well somehow but better than Harvey does.
"Are you okay?" she asks
"uhm" Harvey shakes briefly with his head and closes his eyes for a second to gather himself, too.
"Yeah, yeah sure, I'm fine" he smiles at her.
"Are you really sure you're alright?" he asks her.
"Yeah, I'm good. You- You saved my life" she tells him softy "thank you."
"Yeah sure" he replies "nothing to thank me, it was just good luck"
"Maybe we could go and-"
"Omg hey" a man appears and pulls the woman into a tight hug, placing a kiss on her head.
"Are you okay, are you hurt?" he asks worriedly.
"Yeah, yeah I'm good, don't worry" she reassures him with a smile "He saved me" she points at Harvey. The other man who's at the same age as Harvey and the woman, looks up at the lawyer.
"Thank you" he smiles at him. "You saved the most important person in my life." He thanks him.
"Come on, let's go. You need to get checked up"
"Ian no, I'm fine. He's the one who's hurt."
"I'm fine, really," Harvey manages to say. "Don't worry." He smiles. "Have a nice day." He leaves quickly. Before the woman realizes, Harvey is already a few feet away. "But I wanted—" she trails off as he disappears from earshot.
He had a feeling she might have wanted to ask him for a drink, and he would have definitely said yes. 'Maybe not, or just as a thank-you,' he considers. 'She's taken. Of course, she's taken,' he scolds himself silently. 'A woman like her isn't single,' he thinks, disappointed, as he walks toward Pearson Specter.
… … …
When Harvey returns to the firm, Jessica notices his injured hand.
"What happened?" she asks.
"Nothing, I'm good," he answers coldly. He can't forgive her for threatening Mike and for saying she'd do it again.
"Harvey, I get that you're mad at me, but you need a doctor."
"I said I'm fine," he snaps at his boss and former friend.
"Good, you don't leave me another way. You were in a meeting, which means it was work-time. That makes this," she points at his hand, "a workplace injury. I don't want to get sued if something's wrong." She argues, she doesn't really care about being sued but she's worried and that's the only chance she has to force him to a doctor. Even though he thinks she doesn't care about him, she does and she regrets for treating Mike, she just hasn't told him yet. I want you to see a doctor and bring back proof that you went."
"That's not on you."
"Yes, it is, and I won't discuss it. I don't want to see you here today until I have that proof." She tells him firmly and leaves. It makes Harvey really mad. He has a ton of work to do, and now she's forcing him to see a doctor. If he's honest, it hurts, and it's worse than before, but he doesn't think it needs a doctor. Still, he has no choice but to go.
It turns out his wrist is slightly sprained, so the doctor wraps it up to keep it immobile. This makes Harvey angry, but at least it's his left hand.
"Here," he says, throwing the doctor's note onto Jessica's desk and turning to leave immediately.
She looks up, not having heard him come in.
"What did the doctor say?"
"None of your business," he answers coldly and leaves
, , , ... ...
In the evening, Mike and Harvey meet as planned for a drink.
"Are you okay? What happened?" Mike asks as he sees his friend's hand.
"Yeah, everything's alright. It's nothing" he replies quickly and Mike doesn't push him further.
Mike quickly notices that Harvey isn't really paying attention to anything he's saying. The lawyer is trying his best to get his mind off that woman, but he can't control it. Mike was hoping they could talk and have a little fun together; after all, Harvey is his best friend and the only family he has - beside Rachel. But with Rachel, it's different. She's his girlfriend and one day she'll be his wife, hopefully. But Harvey… Harvey is like a brother to him.
At some point, the younger lawyer gives up trying.
"You know what, Harvey? I've had enough." It doesn't take another sentence to bring Harvey back to reality.
"I know you don't trust me like you used to, and I know it's my fault. But I thought you'd get over it at some point."
"Mike…"
"No, it's okay. I have to accept it. I won't bother you anymore. I'll do my job and that's it."
"Mike, listen—"
"No, Harvey, you listen now! I am really sorry for what I did, okay I regret it, and I knew it would take you some time to forgive me, even though you decided to work with me again. But obviously, you won't forgive me or trust me ever again. So, I won't try to force you. The drinks are on me," he says, getting up from the chair to leave.
"Mike, stop, please. It-It has nothing to do with you," Harvey says, and the younger lawyer stops, turning to look at him.
"I know you're trying, and I know you're sorry. I want to forgive you and to trust you completely again, that's why I agreed to this. But me not being here with my thoughts has nothing to do with that."
"Then what?"
Harvey takes a deep breath. He doesn't want to tell Mike, it is ridiculous, but he knows that if he doesn't, Mike will leave, and that's something he wants even less.
"Today, after we hung up, I was about to go back to the firm when I saw a woman. She was about to cross the street when an idiot sped along and almost hit her. I somehow managed to grab her just in time and…"
"You saved her," Mike states.
"Yeah, I guess that's what people call it," Harvey smiles slightly. He's never been good at taking compliments. Yeah, he often praises himself, which leads many people to think he is self-absorbed but when someone compliments him for real, he can't handle it. After all, it's something anyone would have done.
"your hand, it happened there, right?" Harvey nods. "We fell unluckily, but it's fine, just the hand. It could've ended much worse for her. Obviously, it affected me more than I thought it would.."
Mike looks at the lawyer, and there's a hint of a smile on his face. "The woman or the incident?" he asks, taking his seat again.
"I guess both," Harvey admits.
"What was her name? Did you ask her for a drink? Are you going to meet? After all, you saved her life, so you're her hero," Mike blurts out in a breath, making Harvey laugh.
"Easy, tiger. First of all, I don't know anything about her except that she's taken. Her husband came along and was really worried about her. And no, we are not meeting. I think she wanted to ask, but then he came along, and I… left."
"I'm sorry."
"No need. She's a stranger. Probably we have nothing in common anyway. Even if she were free, I would just hurt her and leave, like I always do," he says sadly.
"Harvey, with Scottie, it wasn't only your fault."
"Yes, it was. I didn't trust her enough to tell her our secret, and she couldn't handle me having secrets from her. I should've trusted her, and maybe we'd still be together. Nevertheless, she's gone, and that woman… well, she's happy with him. And Manhattan is pretty big. We won't meet again anyway. So, it's better I forget everything about what happened and focus on our firm," he tells his friend, trying to convince himself that that's the best way.

So, that's the first chapter. I know it was Harvey related but I wanted to make the start more clear and it won't stay like that. I would love to know what you think and if I should continue.
Have a nice time :)
