Miraculous: Rise of the Dark Moth

Chapter 1: Arrival of a New Student

Synopsis: Arriving from a country outside of the city of Paris, a young boy comes to the Françoise Dupont High School and bonds with Marinette Dupain Cheng and her friends. Unknown to them, he knows all about them.

Gabriel Agreste comes to the unknown repository and he and his kwami for the Peacock Miraculous, Nooroo come to the coffin of the comatose Emilie Agreste.

"My love, I'm sorry it's taking me even longer to bring you back. But someday... someday, I will bring this family together." Gabriel said as he looked at his wife. He then walks away. "Master, I understand you want to bring her back by using the Miraculous of Ladybug and Cat Noir, but is this really what you want?" Nooroo asked his master.

"Yes Nooroo. I don't care how many villains it takes for me to get their Miraculous, but I will have my wish come true. Not just for me. But for Adrien as well." Gabriel said as he went to his observatory, which was Hawk Moth's lair.

"Nooroo, dark wings rise!" He shouts having Nooroo go inside the butterfly miraculous brooch and transforms into Hawk Moth. "Just wait, Ladybug and Cat Noir. I will become victorious." Fade to black.

Morning rises in Paris, and a bus stops at the Eiffel Tower, having a boy be dropped off. His name was P.J. Mills, a child who always wanted to see other countries, and he opens a map. "Here I am, in Paris. Home to the great Ladybug and Cat Noir. First, I should probably find their alter egos at the school they go to. But I shouldn't make a scene while I'm at it. They'll be in for a big... surprise." He start to smile as he makes his way to the Françoise Dupont High School. Walks in front of camera.

Cue intro card with all the colors of the Miraculous.

Miraculous plays with the intro theme, only instrumentally.

Dark purple butterflies scatter around revealing the title, "Rise of the Dark Moth". Fades to black.

Fade to P.J. looking at his map looking for the Françoise Dupont High School and he has trouble figuring out where it was as he moves the map. "Okay Millsy, you're going to the school where one Marinette lives. How hard can it be?" He asked himself as he walk past the Louvre Museum.

Then, he was at the Trocadéro on my way to the school. "Okay, I seem to be close to the school now." He said as Marinette Dupain Cheng had bumped into me. "Hey now!" He shouted until he saw Marinette pass him by. "Sorry! Can't talk! Late for school!" She shouts. "Is that really her? It is her! Marinette aka Ladybug." He said in his thoughts. "Maybe I can follow her to school. It'd be much easier." He smiled as he began to bring out his hovering skateboard and ride on it to follow Marinette.

Cue extended "Miraculous: It's Ladybug" theme. "In the daytime, I'm Marinette. Just a normal girl with a normal life. But there's something about me that no one knows yet. 'Cause I have a secret." Marinette said in a voiceover.

During the song, Marinette Dupain Cheng was going to school as her kwami, Tikki hides in her change purse. Adrien Agreste heads to the school too as his kwami, Plagg was eating some Camembert cheese as usual in his bag. P.J. makes it to the school, and speak to Principal Damocles that he have applied for the high school, and say that he was a foreign exchange student from America. He then looks forward to seeing him tomorrow as he shake hands with him.

Elsewhere, P.J. see swarms of pigeons in the sky, meaning Mr. Pigeon was striking over Paris again. He evades a pigeon and hide from being seen. He see Mr. Pigeon at the News Station with my binoculars, and he sees Ladybug and Cat Noir doing battle with Mr. Ramier. Ladybug then uses her Lucky Charm as always and she begins to capture the akuma from Mr. Pigeon's whistle. "No more evildoing for you, little akuma." She said opening her yo-yo and swinging it around. "Time to de-evilise!" She shouted, capturing the akuma. "Gotcha!" She then de-evilizes it as she releases it.

"Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" She shouted, sending the Lucky Charm into the air and the ladybugs began to undo the damage and P.J. became amazed. "Pound it!" Cat Noir and Ladybug shout as they bump fists. Then their respective Miraculous began to beep. "Whoops! I got to get going, Bugaboo. Cat-ch ya later." Cat Noir said leaving as so did Ladybug. "I really wish he'd stop calling me Bugaboo." She said as she left the scene. "Thank you, Ladybug. Again." Mr. Ramier said to the hero in red and black.

In Hawk Moth's Lair, he grumbles that Mr. Pigeon has failed him again. "Failure again! You may have won against Mr. Pigeon again, Ladybug and Cat Noir, but someday I will become victorious!" He shouts as the observatory closes.

P.J. sees Ladybug heading behind the Louvre Museum to de-transform and he follows her undetected using my Cloaking Device. He even saw her with Tikki. "Good work as always, Marinette. You saved Paris from an akumatized villain." Tikki spoke to Marinette. "I just hope Mr. Ramier won't be akumatized again after that. Let's head home." Marinette spoke as she went home to the Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie.

P.J. becomes unseen with the Cloaking Device as he turns it off and teleports to the treehouse he made somewhere in the forest. It looked similar to the Sector V Treehouse from Codename: Kids Next Door. "I think it's time me and Marinette got to know each other." He said to himself.

Cue Ladybug Miraculous transition.

In the afternoon, P.J.'s come to the Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie on 12 Rue Gotlib, 21st arrondissement and knock on the door in the tone of "Shave and a Haircut, Two Bits". Tom and Sabine, Marinette's parents then come to open the door. "Hello there. Is Marinette Dupain Cheng at home?" He asked them. "But of course. She just came home from school. She's upstairs." Tom answered. "You wouldn't happen to be a friend of hers from—"

"School? Absolutely." P.J. answered to Sabine as he walked inside. "Lovely bakery. I also happen to have a thing for the sweet stuff." He smiled as he walked upstairs. "Why thank you." Tom said. "Marinette, there's a friend from school that wants to see you!" Sabine called her daughter. "Tikki, hide." Marinette said as her kwami, Tikki, hides in a bag as I come up. "Hello, MDC." P.J. smiled and waved. "Oh hi, I know you. I bumped into you on the way to school." Marinette said recalling me on the same day P.J. came to France. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is P.J. Mills." He gives her a hand shake. "It's nice to meet you." Marinette said as she shakes his hand.

"So what brings you here?" She asked. "Well, I came to study stuff with you. But since you are alone, I'd want to say..." He turn his eyes to side to side. "I know you're Ladybug." P.J. said making Marinette's eyes widen in shock and so does Tikki from her hiding place. "Uh... me? No, of course not." She said. "Are you sure?" P.J. smiled as he took out two photos; one of Marinette and one of Ladybug. "You kind of have the same hair and eye color, the same voice, and the same earrings." He spoke having Marinette give a pause.

"Okay, okay. It's me. What was it that first tipped you off?" Marinette asked in a slump. "Well, I did see you speak to your kwami, Tikki, and saw you de-transform." P.J. said as Tikki began to shake in her hiding place as Marinette suddenly grabbed me. "Listen to me, P.J. If anyone's to know about my secret identity..." Marinette spoke. "Do not worry about that. I won't tell another soul. Not that fuddy duddy of a rotten villain, Hawk Moo." He said mocking Hawk Moth's name. "It's okay to laugh." He said when he mentioned "Hawk Moo". "Your identity of being Ladybug is safe with me. Yours, Cat Noir's and the other kwamis too, Miss New Guardian since Wang Fu trusted the Miracle Box to you." P.J. spoke.

"How did you know about us?" Tikki asked as she accidentally came out and he silently waved at her during this awkward moment, and she waves back. "It's okay, Tikki. I trust him." Marinette said. "Let's just say that I had been watching you from somewhere else." P.J. said. "You don't say? Where exactly are you from?" She asked. "The United States of America." He replied. "So, you're from overseas?" Marinette asked. "Of course. Anyway, I got to know your secret, it's time you seen mine." P.J. said. "Huh?" Marinette asked tilting her head to the side.

P.J. takes Marinette Dupain Cheng to his treehouse and comes to the entrance. He approaches the voice pad and clears his throat to use the password to get inside of his own fortress of solitude. "Hullabaloo and howdy doo. Musty prawns and Timbuktu. Yeltsy-by and hippety poo. Kick 'em in the dishpan, hoo hoo hoo." He said to Marinette's surprise. "Kick 'em in the dishpan, hoo hoo hoo?" Marinette asked in confusion and he shrug my shoulders. And then, the doors open as we enter the Treehouse. "Welcome to Treehouse del P.J." He said welcoming Marinette and Tikki into the Treehouse.

"Whoa. This is your treehouse?" Marinette asked. "That it is, MDC. This is where I do my work and research here." P.J. explained to her. "Aside from being from the US, I even was an expert KND operative." He said. "KND?" Marinette asked. "Codenamed: Kids Next Door. I used to be the number of Pi. 3.14. But now I'm Numbuh One." He said. "Oh." She said. "I used to be an operative until times changed. But now I'm Teens Next Door material now." Marinette and P.J. take the elevator to the generator room as He Blinded Me with Science plays. P.J. takes Marinette to the generator room.

"This is my generator room. Check out my power source." He said as Marinette happily gasps to see hamsters. "You got hamsters?" Marinette squealed as the hamsters squeaked greeting her. "Yep. And I know how much you like hamsters. I make sure they're well fed afterwards" P.J. said as he takes her to my lab and show her some of my experiments. "Let's see how the enemy hating plant is doing." I pick out three photos of Chloe Bourgeois, Hawk Moth, and Lila Rossi. The snapdragon sniffs and takes a bite of the Chloe Bourgeois photo.

"Nice choice. As usual." He throws the bitten Chloe Bourgeois picture in the recycle bin where other photos of Chloe were bitten. "You're not going to use this on Chloe, are you?" Marinette asked in concern. "Of course not. Between you and me, I hate her as much as you do. Should she ever cross me." Marinette smiles and nods. "What's that?" She points to a incomplete ray gun. "That's my Anti-Akumatizer. It reverses the effects of anyone or anything akumatized by Hawk Moth. I got the parts, but I haven't captured an akuma with negative energy though. With this, I can help Paris like you and Cat Noir." P.J. explained about my Anti-Akumatizer.

"I know you will." Marinette said putting a hand on my shoulder. "And that's what I'm working on right now. My own Miraculous and kwami, Inky the Panda Bear." P.J. said showing Marinette a handmade Miraculous looking like a keychain that looked like a paint ball, and a sleeping kwami looking like a Panda Bear. Tikki comes out and looks at the kwami. "He doesn't look like much." She stated. "What will you transform into when you use your Miraculous?" Marinette asked. "Wait and see." P.J. said.

P.J. then takes Marinette outside of the treehouse. "So, what you think?" He asked. "That was so cool!" Marinette exclaimed. "Knew you would say that. Also, if you need help with how to get a date with Adrien, I am happy to help." Marinette blushes and smiles. "Thanks. Now, let's get back to my place so we can study, like you said." Marinette reminded. "Not a problem." P.J. said as he grabs her shoulder and we teleport back to the bakery. "Wow." Marinette said. "Shall we begin?" P.J. asked smiling. Cue Ladybug Miraculous transition.

The next day, everyone came to an assembly at the Françoise Dupont High School because Principal Damocles had an announcement for everyone. "I wonder what Principal Damocles had called us for." Marinette asked. "Everyone, settle down. We have a new student joining us today. However, this one is a foreign exchange student." Damocles explained. "What? You mean someone from outside of Paris?" Adrien Agreste asked. "I wonder who he is." Alya Césaire said. "We're about to get a new face around here, Alya." Marinette whispered. "Everyone, allow me to introduce P.J. Mills." Damocles said moving to the side revealing P.J.

"Hello everyone. I'm proud to be here. I hope everyone can be accept me here and treat me in a respectful manner." P.J. spoke. "I'm looking at you, Chloe Bourgeois, daughter of the Mayor of Paris." Chloe makes a surprised look that the new student knows her, and she turns away.

"Whoa. How does he know her name?" Adrien asked. "I think he knows about all of us." Marinette stated. "I don't think he even does, Dupain Cheng." Chloe said. "Bzzt! Wrong answer! I know you all by heart." P.J. spoke as he began to inhale saying everyone's names. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Alya Césaire, Adrien Agreste, Chloe Bourgeois, Nino Lahiffe, Sabrina Raincomprix, Le Chien Kim, Luka and Juleka Couffaine, Alix Kubdel, Mylene Haprele, Kagami Tsurugi, Rose Valliant, Ivan Bruel, Nathanial Kurtzberg, Lila Rossi and Max Kante."

"Breathe now." Max said as PJ took a deep breath. "I think that's everybody." PJ said as he look at the back of my hand. "Well, he knows us now, Chloe." Sabrina said to her best friend in shock. "Now, since he's new here, I trust that you'll be on your best behavior being friends with our new friend?" Damocles asked.

"It's quite alright, Principal. I will let you know if there's anything that displeases me here." P.J. said having his sunglasses give off a little gleam.
