I was in the club with Iris and Courtney. I was really nervous about what was going on. I didn't know what my mother was doing regarding the Undertaking but I was pretty sure that whatever I found, I wouldn't like. I also wanted to know if she had been meeting my father at all. Of course even if he was alive, I didn't have any proof that she knew about it. I was not going to tell Thea my theory because I wanted her to think that he was still dead. If he had somehow faked his death, I wasn't sure if I wanted to know the reasons why.

"I've been watching your mother for days, Olivia." Iris told me. "She goes to work, she comes home and occasionally she goes out to dinner. She seems to really love the salmon tartar at Table Salt, but I've got nothing."

"Yeah, I haven't noticed her making any suspicious phone calls either." I added. I did know that my mother was very good at being covert. She may have had a prepaid phone if she was talking to someone. I would think that if you were talking to someone who was supposed to be dead, you would want to keep it a secret. "My mom has a lot of secrets."

"Are you okay?" Courtney asked as she walked over to me.

"My mom and a mysterious person who may be my thought-to-be deceased father are involved in a conspiracy that may have dire consequences for the city and on top of that, I'm pretty sure that they kidnapped my stepfather." I explained. "I don't think okay is an accurate description right now."

"All we know is that your mother and this other archer are preparing something for the Glades." Iris explained. I wished that I could tell them what I knew but there wasn't a valid reason for me to know.

"And that Malcolm wanted to stop it so they kidnapped him." Courtney added.

"We need to find out what this is Undertaking is." Iris remarked.

"I have an idea." I stated. "I think this they want to destroy the Glades, but I don't know how they plan on doing it."

If the other archer was my father, which I couldn't be sure of, I had no idea where he would place an earthquake machine. I imagined that there would still be two of them. Malcolm was easy to predict because he put it where his wife died and Tommy had also been easy to predict because he put it where Thea died, but as far as I knew, there were no key areas for my father like that.

"But I think the best thing for me to do is ask her." I declared.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Courtney inquired. "Do you really want to go to your mother as Robyn Hood."

"Please don't call me that and I was also planning on just asking her myself." I stated. "It'll just be a friendly mother-daughter chat."

Did I think it would go well, no, but maybe she would be willing to talk to me. When I went into the club, I was greeted by an unsuspected guest.

"Dinah, what are you doing here?" I asked. "It's pretty early."

"And for some reason you're here." She quipped.

"Well that's how business goes sometimes. Sometimes you get deliveries at times that you don't expect." I responded.

"Yeah, I know all about that." She stated.

"How's Tommy?" I questioned.

"He's definitely better now that Malcolm is okay." She explained. I was glad that they hadn't broken up. I liked the two of them together. Come to think of it, I wasn't even sure why she was here. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." I lied. "I don't mean to be rude, but why exactly are you here? You could have just asked me over the phone if I was okay."

"I just want you to know that I still think Sara is alive." She declared. "You said that you were separated from her, right? That would mean it was possible that someone was able to rescue her and you wouldn't know anything about it."

"Dinah, it's been over five years." I pointed out.

"She could be stranded somewhere or maybe she lost her memory." She argued.

"This isn't healthy." I declared. "I want Sara to be alive too, but you can't less this turn into an obsession. It seems like you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. I'm sorry that I took her on that boat with me."

"I'm mad at you for doing that anymore." She declared. "But if there is a 1 percent chance that she is still alive, I am not going to give up hope and I'm going to keep believing."

"I have to go now. Malcolm is coming home." I declared before I went home.

Tommy, Thea and I were all there went he got there.

"How are you feeling, Dad?" I asked him. I sounded a bit weird because I wanted to say it.

"I'm on the mend." Malcolm stated. "You know I always get back on my feet."

"A grizzly bear couldn't take you down." I joked before we all hugged him. One thing that I wasn't sure of was whether or not Malcolm was thinking about divorcing my mom. If she was under duress then he would know that and probably wouldn't hold the things that she was doing against her. Part of me wished that Walter had known the same.

"Well let's go have some brunch." Mom suggested.

"Sounds good." Malcolm stated before he and Mom walked into kitchen.

"Do you think Malcolm is acting a little weird?" Thea asked. This was a definitely downside of her not knowing because I couldn't tell her everything or anything really.

"I mean he was kidnapped and held hostage. Even if it was only for a few days, it can't be easy." Tommy remarked. I could attest that being kidnapped did suck.

"I just wish this kind of stuff would stop happening to us." She commented.

Later, I went into the Mom's room and saw that she was watching the news where they were talking about the UNIDAC massacre. I was still relieved that it wasn't Malcolm to say the least, even though I felt potential for even worse. I just had to try to believe that it wasn't my dad and he wasn't alive.

"Mom, we need to talk." I remarked.

"Later, Olivia." She replied as she hastily exited the room. It seemed like I was going to have to go with plan with Plan B.

I still was a bit shocked to hear that the scientists were murdered, even though I knew it was going to happen. I knew why he did it because he didn't want them to be able to testify against him, but if he really thought that he wouldn't stand trial, would there even be a point to that? Wouldn't destroying all of the evidence have been enough?

Another thing that I was nervous about was my family. I really wanted to know where they all were at all times, but it wasn't possible for me to do that. Thea was out somewhere with Linda, but she didn't tell me where they place was.

That night, I went to try to talk to my mother again. I knew what was going to happen here, but I felt like it needed to be done.

"Hey Mom." I greeted her.

"Malcom is upstairs resting." She stated. "I think he's doing well."

"Who took him?" I asked bluntly.

"We don't know, but I'm going to make sure all of our resources are behind it." She told me. I wanted to sigh but refrained from doing so.

"That's the same thing you told the reporters yesterday." I pointed out. "I want to know the truth."

"I don't know what you mean." She stammered.

"I think you do." I stated. "I think you know more than you're letting on. When I showed you Dad's notebook, you seemed to know something but didn't tell me."

"Are you suggesting that I knew something about my husband's kidnapping?" She questioned.

"I'm just suggesting that you were scared." I replied. "Maybe you didn't mean for any of this to happen but it was harder than you thought. Mom if there is someone after us, I have the right to know."

"You need to stop asking these questions. I am trying to protect you." She declared.

"Protect me from what?" I retorted. At that time, I gave the signal and the lights went before both of us were hit with tranquilizers. They still worked on me.

I had told Iris to take us to the docks and we were tied up.

"Mom?" I asked.

"Olivia?" She replied.

"Are you okay?" I questioned. She seemed to be surprised that we were kidnapped. I had told Iris to specifically not hurt her. I was glad that I could heal.

"Moira Queen, you have failed this city." She said through a voice changer.

I was nervous about this. Even though I knew what the plan was, I was still a little nervous about being caught off-guard by what Iris planned on doing to me. I was also nervous about learning some things that I wouldn't like. It was possible that I would not be ready for all of the things that she told me. I had to brace myself for the possibility that she knew that my father was alive and didn't tell me or Thea about it.

"Please do not hurt my daughter." Mom begged. I knew that was the only way that we could get her to talk and that sucked because I didn't like playing into my mother's worst fears. I didn't want to traumatize her, but I needed to know what she knew, but I knew that I couldn't push her too far. I hoped that Iris understood that there were some things that she couldn't do. Though, I wasn't sure what she planned on doing so I couldn't exactly tell her what she wasn't supposed to do to me.

"Tell me what the Undertaking is and I won't have to." Iris retorted. I did like that she was getting straight to the point. Mom was silent, so I gave her the okay. She then punched me in the face. "Tell me!"

"Please, leave me daughter alone!" Mom screamed.

"Who is the other archer?" Iris demanded.

"I can't tell you!" Mom shouted. "He'll kill me and he'll kill my family."

"You should be more worried about what I'll do." Iris replied before she hit me, knocking my chair over.

"He's planning to destroy the Glades!" Mom replied. "I don't know who he is, but he wants to level the Glades. He says he'll rebuild it but…"

"How?" Iris questioned.

"He has a device." Mom explained. "He says it cause an earthquake."

"How is this possible?" Iris asked.

"I don't know." Mom admitted. "It was invented by UNIDAC Industries. He turned it into a weapon."

"Why would you get involved with someone like that?" Iris responded.

"Because he threatened my family. I didn't have a choice." Mom said.

"I need to know where this is. If you don't tell me, I can't stop the archer." Iris replied. I really hoped that I would be able to stop him.

"You can't stop him. It's too late." Mom told her. At that point, Iris freed us and left. Mom ran over to me. "Olivia, I know what you must be thinking, Sweetie, but I never intended for any of this to happen."

The one thing that I wished that I had found out was the identity of the other archer, but I had a feeling that I would find that out very soon.

"You know that I would never willing be a part of anything like this." She added. Even though I did know that, I had to react like I didn't.

"I don't know who you anymore." I declared after I got up and walked away. I added a fake limp for good measure.

At that point, I headed into the lair. Courtney was there.

"So what did you find out?" She asked. I thought Iris would have given her the recap but maybe she thought it was best to do it when we were all together. This part was still not easy. There was also something that Iris had forgotten to ask her which could have been some very useful information.

"My mother has been coerced into helping out the other archer and he plans on destroying the Glades with an earthquake." I stated. It didn't even help that I knew that there were two of them because I had no idea where they were. I had to do my best to stop them. "You forgot to ask her something."

"What?" Iris inquired.

"You were supposed to ask her whether or not my father is alive." I pointed out.

"I'm sorry, I was so into it that I forgot." Iris replied. "So I didn't give you any bruises, did I? That's the first time as a bodyguard that I've ever had to hurt my client."

"I'm fine. Right now we need to find everything that we can about UNIDAC Industries." I declared.

"Well aren't they owned by your family's company?" Courtney questioned. "I have to say that helping you stop a man-made earthquake was not something that expected seven months ago when I met you."

"I'm trying to find any information that I don't already know." I stated as I started to type away. This is something that I really wished that I had Felicity for but I didn't think that I would need to hack anything.

"Well we have a small research and development company that specializes in seismic infringement." Iris declared as she read off of the page. "If someone was able to make an earthquake, I would place some money on them."

"I wonder if we can figure out how it works." I declared. I needed to do better to stop it. I had done it once before but that was some very important information. If there was anything that I could do to stop this, I needed to do it because I would need to save whatever lives I could. "We can assume that the other archer is tying up loose ends. He's erasing all evidence and people that can be used against him. There are two problems. If my father is alive, I don't know where to find him and I also don't have any proof that he is the other archer. Our main focus is trying to find out at least one of those things because I'm pretty sure that one of them will lead to finding the answers to the other."

"What if you talk to Malcolm?" Courtney suggested. "He has to know some things about this and I bet that he will tell you."

"I don't know if I can count on him to tell me but I suppose it's worth a try." I admitted. If he really wanted to stop the Undertaking, I would need to do whatever I could in order to find out. It did feel that it would be very ironic if he was the helped me stop it. I decided to give him a text to meet me at his office.

I went down there and hoped that it would be a good place for us to talk. I also really hoped that I wasn't completely wrong about him. If he was still in on this, I would be in a lot of trouble. I walked into his office.

"Olivia, what did you need to talk to me about so urgently?" He asked. He looked like he was expecting me to say something.

"I know about the Undertaking." I declared. He looked surprised, so I assumed that he wasn't expecting me to say that. "The vigilante kidnapped the two of us and got her to spill the beans. I know that someone is trying to create an earthquake that will destroy the Glades and I need to know what you know about it."

"Do you think that I am behind this?" He questioned.

"Are you?" I asked him point blank. "Can you tell me that truthfully?"

"I will admit that I initially wanted to see the Glades destroyed when Rebecca was murdered, but I was later able to find clarity. I was part of the organization but now I'm out. I wanted to improve conditions there but not completely destroy them in a way that cost hundreds if not thousands their lives." He explained.

"Who was in charge of the organization to destroy the Glades?" I replied.

"Robert was." He stated. "I only joined because I didn't know that was the goal."

"So did you plant the bomb on the boat to kill him?" I questioned.

"No, I did consider killing him but if I did, I would not have done it in a way that there could be collateral damage." He replied.

"Do you know if he's still alive?" I responded.

"I know that he initially survived the crash, but I don't know if he's currently alive. I have a feeling that he was the one who kidnapped me but I can't confirm that." He admitted.

"You know I'm a little surprised that you're telling me all of this." I admitted.

"I mean I'd rather tell you like this than with an arrow in my face." He replied. Okay that surprised me.

"You know?" I asked in shock.

"I haven't told anyone and I don't plan on doing so." He declared. "I will also tell you that I am no longer in the know with the Undertaking, so I can't help you stop it, but I feel that if anyone can stop it, it would be you."

I then went back to share the information that I had found.

"So want did your stepdad tell you?" Iris asked.

"Well he told me a lot." I explained. "For starters, he says that he is no longer involved in the Undertaking?"

"Do you believe him?" Courtney inquired.

"I think I do." I admitted. "He also said that he knows who I am, so it doesn't make sense that he would lie to me now because he knows that I could just go back to him later."

"How did he find out?" Iris asked me. You know that was probably something that I should asked.

"I didn't actually ask that." I answered with a blush. I supposed that I couldn't hold anything over Iris anymore. "But I did make sure to ask him about my father. He said that my dad was the leader of the organization and that he even knows that he survived the crash but apparently he hasn't talked to him recently and he can't confirm that he's either alive or if he's the other archer."

"It's looking more and more likely that your father is the one behind this." Courtney stated. I really did not like that. That was not what I meant when I said that I wanted to see my father again. I knew my dad wasn't the best guy but he still wasn't a cold-blooded mass murderer and from the looks of it, he didn't even have Malcolm's reasoning for wanting to destroy the Glades. I couldn't think of why he would even want to do it. What reason did he have for wanting thousands of people dead? Malcolm at least wanted revenge. It looked like the only way that I would be able to figure out the truth would be by getting him to tell me.

"Maybe we should be focused on stopping this instead of trying to figure out who is behind it." Iris countered. "I mean there could be multiple people who are able to access the earthquake machine, but if we destroy the earthquake machine then their plan will fall apart."

That really was the best solution even though we really didn't have any idea where to look for it. I didn't think that he would just be hiding out in Queen Consolidated and he wouldn't just put the location of the earthquake machine in the mainframe like Malcolm had.

The following day at school, all I could think about was what I was going to do. I didn't have a lot of time to do this and I was pretty sure that I couldn't give the warning about the Undertaking myself. I would have to wait until they were at least somewhat ready to set it off. I mean more time would make it so more people could get out but unless the machine was on a timer, they wouldn't have to set it off. Not to mention, I was probably not the most trustworthy people in regards to that.

When I was at lunch, I couldn't help but notice my phone going off. I had just received a text from Emiko.

"Are you at lunch right now?" It read.

"Yes." I responded. It was at that time that my phone started to ring. It seemed like she wanted to call me. I went out into the hallway to take it.

"Is everything okay?" I answered.

"Not really." She admitted. "I got a text from a blocked number that said that they wanted to meet me. I know that there is no way that I should do it but I'm a little scared."

I was pretty sure that there was only one person who want to talk to her that would want to do it anonymously. He was trying to talk to her. I didn't understand the reasoning for it, but this was probably going to be my chance to confront him. I knew that I would have to do it by myself, because I didn't want anyone else to get hurt.

"How about you tell them that you do want to meet, but instead of you going, I'll go and I can bring my bodyguard with. We can find out exactly who is harassing you and we can deal with them." I suggested.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" She asked me.

"I don't want anyone to harm my sister." I declared. "And you won't have to worry about anything."

I did hope that it wasn't just random stalker, even though said person would probably be easier to deal with than the other archer. Also why didn't Malcolm or anyone use an actual name because it would be a lot easier to say than just calling him the other archer? I supposed that I was used to having just bad guys with codenames.

I then went back over to Courtney.

"I think I have a possible lead on my father." I told her.

"How?" She inquired.

"Apparently someone contacted Emiko trying to meet with her and he's the only person that I could think of who would want to reach out to her anonymously." I stated. "I told her to say that she'll meet with him."

"Isn't that dangerous?" Courtney inquired. Apparently, I should have told her the rest of that. I forgot that she wasn't as perceptive as I was. I was not used to being the smartest one on the team.

"She's not actually going to be meeting with him. I am." I explained. "I'm going to go there to try to catch him off-guard. Once I'm there I can get him to tell me where the earthquake machine is and how to stop it."

"How do you even know that it will work and what I can do to help?" She asked.

"Right now I want to do this by myself." I replied. "I can't risk you getting hurt again. On top of that I'm pretty sure that he won't want to hurt me."

"I hope that you know what you're doing." She declared.

"I hope I do too." I admitted.

After school, I went to Thea in the parking lot because I needed a ride home with her. I couldn't help but notice that Linda was pretty close by.

"Are you ready to go now?" I asked.

"I can't take you home today. I'm doing something with Linda." She told me.

"What's going on?" I responded.

"We're trying to find the vigilante." Thea declared. "She's been a little bit obsessed with her ever since the incident with the Savior. We're also trying to find out who the copycat is."

I then grabbed Thea's hand and went over to Linda.

"Linda, I think it's time we had a talk. You don't want to mess around with Robyn Hood or this copycat archer. Anyone who gets in their crosshairs ends up dead and I don't want that to happen to you on my sister. I speak from experience when I tell you that she's bad news." I explained. I hoped that she would listen to me, even though I was pretty sure that she wasn't going to do that. I also couldn't help but wonder if Linda was going to go down a similar path to Roy even though Thea had met her long before she met Roy. "Do you understand?"

"Yes." Linda replied.

"Now if you two want to go on a date, you can, but don't go hunting this vigilante." I ordered.

I began to prepare for this meeting with potentially my father. Even if I was expecting it to be him, I wasn't sure if I was ready to see him. He was not the same man that he had sacrificed himself to save his son. Also if he hadn't gotten me to the island, then who had?

I wanted to know more about Olivia's time on the island because I was pretty sure that it would fill in a lot of holes. I would be able to know if I had met Sara and if she was alive. It would give me information about Slade, Yao Fei and all of the others. I had too many questions and I needed some fucking answers. I didn't like not know about my life. As soon as I got the chance, I would have to figure out if there was a way to go about doing that.

I met with Iris and Courtney before I prepared to go there. I tried to hide how nervous I was.

"Are you sure that this is a good idea?" Iris asked.

"I'm not but this may be only chance to meet with my father and if he is the other archer, I can stop him and find out where he's hiding the earthquake machine." I explained. "It definitely isn't the best plan but it's the only one that I have right now and I can't let you or Courtney get hurt or killed by doing this."

"Okay." Courtney responded.

"You know I thought that I was honoring my father by crossing off the names on the list, but he was never interested in that. He was keeping these names because he wanted to blackmail these people into helping with the Undertaking and probably to help his redevelop the area after the quake. The whole reason that I started this has become a lie." I explained.

"I'm sorry.' Courtney replied as she gave me a hug.

"But I've found something more." I declared. "I figured out what the bigger picture of being a hero is about. It's not about taking down the big wigs and killing them or sending them to jail. It's about helping someone like Peter Declan who was wrongfully convicted of killing his wife. It's about defeating someone like the Count. It's about making this city safer"

I also didn't know if I would need to remain in this world after I was done with this. Was this another mission from the Monitor that I would have to deal with? What would happen once I was I was done and I stopped the Undertaking? Would I go somewhere else? There was no way I could return home, was there? Also if the mission was to stop the Undertaking, why did I need to wait so long to do it?

I headed to the parking where we agreed to meet. I wasn't sure if he would be expecting me to show up. I was dressed and ready to see him. I went there and an arrow was shot in front of me.

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you're the one who showed up here." He stated.

"Tell me who you are right now!" I demanded. I was usually in control of my emotions but this was something that I needed to know.

"Why would I do that? I could just kill you and there wouldn't be a point to it." He retorted. With that I shot an arrow at him. "Or maybe it will more fun to watch you try to stop me. I know you have the ability to heal yourself, so we need to do this a different way.

He then took out an arrow and shot me with it. I tried to dodge but he managed to hit me. I then started to feel a little bit woozy as it touched me. It seemed like he had shot me with a tranquilizer arrow and I started to lose consciousness. It was then that he pulled off his mask and it was indeed my worst fears on his identity.

"Daddy…" I replied before I passed out.

So we're almost at the finale. There's just one more chapter left. Olivia found out that her father was indeed in charge of everything and she also found out that Malcolm was not involved. So will she be able to stop the Undertaking and what is Robert's plan. Find out in the next chapter. Please don't forget to review.
