Chapter 12: Divorce or Death Part One
Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha
A/N: Inufangirl92, thank you for the review! I'm so happy that you are enjoying this story! I appreciate you so much! Heres the update, hope you like it! :)
Kagome woke up, she felt dizzy, nauseous, her ears were ringing and her head was killing her - she opened her eyes and realized that her arms were chained up over her head, the chains were attached to the ceiling, she was chained against a cold, wet brick wall in a cold, dingy, old basement that smelt heavily of mildew, her feet were just mere centimeters away from being able to touch the ground to relive the ache in her shoulders, though, no matter how hard she tried she couldn't reach the ground. She didn't know how long she was down there for, there were no windows around her so she couldn't tell if it was day or night, however, judging by how her shoulders felt - it had to have been at least over an hour, if not two, that she was chained up for.
She took a deep breath to try and keep her calm, she then gave a few quick jerks of her body to try to free her wrists of the chains, but they wouldn't budge. She tried hard to remember how she got there, but the longer that she thought the more her head pounded so she ceased all thinking process for now and focused on staying as calm as she could.
"Okay." Kagome whispered to herself as she took another calming breath. "Keep calm, freaking out won't do anything but cloud your mind and make you make mistakes that gets you killed." She said as she took another deep breath as she looked around the space she was in, there was a small lamp on the floor in the far corner that gave little light for her to be able to just barely see the things around her. She was in the room by herself aside from a pool table, an air hockey table, and a foosball table but other than that the room was completely empty.
Memories then came flooding back into her mind, though she wasn't trying to remember anymore. She remembered having Kio tied up in the chair in front of her as she held onto a bat with Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku standing on the sidelines. She remembered as she beat the living crap out of him as she demanded to know what he's done with Hiro; she remembered him telling her that Naraku had him take Hiro because she had refused to divorce Inuyasha. She remembered wanting to kill him and was about to bash him in the head with the bat, but something exploded, and she couldn't remember anything else after that.
She felt as her heartrate start to kick up a notch as she tried once again to get free, after a few minutes she started to feel something warm dripping down her arms, figuring it was probably blood from her raw sore wrists, she stopped and tried to take deep breaths again to curb her panic. Several minutes later, she felt her heart slow down some as her breathing started to even out - she knew that she had to stay level minded in order to survive and make it out of this in order to save her son.
She didn't know how much time had passed before a bad dizzy spell hit her that made her lose consciousness.
An undisclosed amount of time later, Kagome heard what sounded like rocks being smashed together - she forced her eyes opened and looked up to see two blurry figures playing pool at the pool table. She blinked several times trying to get her vision to clear so she could tell who was in the room with her, after many attempts she was finally able to tell who the people were.
Naraku and Kikyo.
Rage flowed freely through her veins as she silently watched as Kikyo took her turn striking the white ball with her pool stick and completely missing her target, she never was really good at anything - good to see that hasn't changed in the years that she's been kicked out of the house. Kikyo then stood straight before looking in her direction and smirking.
"Oh, you're finally awake." Kikyo said snidely as she placed her stick on the table before walking around to stand in front of Kagome with her arms crossed across her chest, Naraku came to stand beside his daughter, mimicking her stance.
"Where's Hiro?" Kagome bit out between her teeth.
"That's not of your concern at this moment." Naraku said. "Just know that he's safe, for now."
"Please, you have to take him back to the hospital." Kagome begged as tears started to gather in her eyes. "You can do whatever you want to me, just please take him back! If he dies it'll be your fault and I'll kill you!"
"No." Kikyo said as she dropped her arms back to her sides as she took another step forward. "It'll your fault if he dies, you're the reason that he's here and not in the hospital, so don't try and act like you care now!" she snapped as she took another step closer to Kagome, she put her face in Kagome's as she whispered. "You see, dear sister, you're in no position to be giving demands, it's your turn to fucking listen! I have divorce papers here, you will sign them, and all of this will disappear." She said as she walked over to the air hockey table and grabbed what looked like some paperwork off the table and showed them to Kagome.
Kagome was having a hard time focusing on anything but she looked at the paper in front of her and was just barely able to make out the word divorce that was bigger than the rest of the words and on the top with another word she couldn't quite make out, though it didn't matter - what mattered was that these deranged people were holding both her and her son hostage in order to force her to sign divorce papers, how desperate were they?
"How do you expect me to sign it," Kagome said as Kikyo still held the papers in front of her as if she was waiting for her to take them, "when my fucking hands are chained up you dumb bitch?" She wasn't going to sign it, however, she wanted to make it seem like she was so they would release her, so she could get some relief for her shoulders as well as get the upper hand to save both herself and Hiro.
Kikyo threw the papers down before slapping Kagome as hard as she could making Kagome's neck snap as her head turned with the force Kikyo put behind the slap as she gasped in pain. "You will do well to watch how you speak to me!"
"You better hope the either I don't get free, or Phantom doesn't find out where I am - either option doesn't bode well for you, I promise you - you will die." Kagome said with a small laugh as blood dribbled down her chin, when Kikyo slapped her, she bit her lip and made it bleed. "Both of you are cowards having to cause an explosion just so you could kidnap me, you're fucking weak!"
Naraku took a step forward before punching Kagome in the stomach making her cough up more blood and huff in pain. "Shut up, bitch! In case you didn't realize, you're the one that's in chains not us! If anyone is going to die, it'll be you if you don't watch your fucking mouth!"
"I'm sorry, I can't physically watch my own mouth." Kagome side snidely, as she tried to catch her breath, which got her another smack across the face by Naraku making her face and eye swell and a cry of pain leave her throat.
"Come on Kikyo, it seems that Kagome needs some more time alone to think about things and, anyway, we need to get you ready to meet Phantom." Naraku said as he turned to walk towards the staircase.
"Huh?" Kikyo said confused. "Since when did we have a meeting with him?"
"It might not be a meeting that he knows about." Naraku said as he stopped by the foosball table before picking up a Polaroid camera then turning around to walk up to stand in front of Kagome once again then snapping a picture of her, he waited for the picture to print before taking it out of the camera, shaking it and then looking before showing the picture to Kikyo. "But once he sees this picture, we'll have him eating out of the palm of our hands."
Kikyo laughed as her and Naraku left the basement.
As Kagome was left along once again, she jerked her body again trying to get free, but more blood dripped down her arms and her body hurt too bad to continue as a hiss of pain escaped passed her lips. Tears pooled in her eyes as she tried to think of a way out of this, she tried to keep a level head but couldn't deny that she was scared, not only for her but for her son as well. She choked out a sob as she felt completely helpless, there was no way that she could of to get her out of these chains. Why couldn't people just let her be fucking happy? Was it so wrong for her to have a little joy in her miserable life?
A bad wave of dizziness hit her once again causing her vision to blur and for her to lose consciousness once again.
*X*
Inuyasha groaned as he woke up, he had to blink several times before his vision cleared enough for him to be able to see straight. The first thing he saw was Miroku unconscious right next to him, he turned his head and saw Sango on his other side, she was unconscious as well. He pushed through the slight pain that wrecked his body before moving towards Sango checking to see if she still had a pulse then moved on to check Miroku - happy that they both had a pulse he continued his search to see if Kagome was okay, however, his heart dropped in his chest when he saw no sign of Kagome or Kio, they both were missing.
Anger licked through his veins as he grew more and more furious by the second, he wanted to paint the city crimson with the blood of the fucker who dared to take Kagome away from him. He got to his feet and pushed through the slight dizziness to look around to see if he could find any clues as to who caused the explosion and took Kagome and Kio, he had a good idea of who did it - he just had to be sure before wasting time following a dead end.
As he looked around, he heard Miroku groan before opening his eyes and looking around. "Ugh, what happened?" He asked as he sat up before rubbing his head.
"We've been ambushed, someone somehow knew we were going to be here and had the place bombed." Inuyasha said as he continued to search.
Not realizing the dire situation they were in, Miroku watched him for a few seconds before asking what he was doing.
"Use you fucking eyes, Miro, who the fuck is missing?" Inuyasha growled, not meaning to snap on Miroku but panic was steadily making its way into his heart as he tried with all his might to keep it at bay knowing it wouldn't be of any help to give into the panic.
Miroku furrowed his brows as he looked around spotting the empty chair first. "Kio's gone."
"Yeah, not the person I'm worried about." Inuyasha muttered as he continued to search getting increasingly frustrated that he was coming up empty handed.
Miroku cocked an eyebrow as he continued to look, he saw as Sango's eyes furrowed as she brought her hand up to rub her temple while keeping her eyes closed. His eyes moved from Sango to see if Kagome was okay, only he didn't see Kagome - she was gone. "Kagome is gone!" He said as panic seeped in his mind.
"Shit!" Inuyasha yelled as he flipped a table frustrated that there wasn't any sign anywhere of who took Kagome. "Fuck!" He growled as he thrusted a hand angrily through his hair. He fished his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number before putting the phone to his ear as he watched as Miroku helped Sango stand up, asking if she was okay. "Shippo." He said as the call was answered. "I need you to track down Naraku, now!" He demanded before ending the call.
"There's no need to track me down." A voice said smugly from behind them. "Though I'm flattered you'd take the time to try to find me."
Inuyasha whipped around to face the man. "Naraku!" He growled. "Where is Kagome?"
"Hmm?" Naraku hummed as he casually started walking around the room with his hands in his pockets. "What makes you so sure I have her?"
Inuyasha, losing his cool, ran toward Naraku before grabbing him by the throat and slamming him against the wall. "Don't fucking play around with me asshole!"
"I'd be careful if I was you, Phantom." Naraku said as he reached into his jacket pocket retrieving a picture out of it before showing it to Inuyasha. "Or your little lady friend here will die."
Inuyasha felt as if someone had punched him in the gut stealing all his air from him as he looked at the condition Kagome was in as she hung from chains. "What the fuck do you want Naraku?" He asked willing to do whatever it took to get his Kagome back.
"It's simple really." Naraku said as he let out a high-pitched whistle and Kikyo walked in through the door. "You will divorce Kagome and marry my daughter, Kikyo." Both Naraku and Kikyo wore matching smug looks on their faces.
Inuyasha felt physically sick at the thought of even divorcing Kagome let alone marrying someone else.
"What?" Inuyasha asked as he took a step away from the duo in front of him. "No fucking way would I ever marry her!" He growled angry that they would have even suggested something like that.
"But, Phantom," Kikyo said with a desperate laugh, "if you remember correctly, it was me that you were supposed to marry and not Kagome!" She said as she took a step forward.
"Who gives a fuck!" Inuyasha snarled as he held himself back from killing both of the people in front of him, he had to figure out where Kagome was first - then he'd kill them, nice and slow and painful, he'd take great joy in their screams of pain and their pleads to be let go - knowing that wasn't going to happen unless they were in fucking body bags. "I married Kagome because you pushed her on me saying you would pay her son's medical bills which you fucking didn't, so no I will not divorce her, nor will I marry you!"
"Fine!" Kikyo screeched in outrage. "Consider your wife and her son fucking dead." Kikyo said as she took out her phone before typing in a number, however, before she could press the call button - Inuyasha stopped her.
"Wait." Inuyasha called out making Kikyo stop what she was doing. "Fine, you win, I'll divorce Kagome and marry you." He had to hold back the vomit back at the thought of him even saying something like that.
Sango and Miroku's mouths dropped open.
"Boss, are you sure you wanna do that?" Miroku asked in shock at Inuyasha going along with their demands.
"I have no choice." Inuyasha answered without looking away from Kikyo and Naraku.
Kikyo smiled smugly. "Oh, Phantom, I know we will be so happy together."
Inuyasha had to gnash his teeth together in disgust and to keep himself from saying something that would piss them off and get Kagome killed.
"We will be waiting in the car." Naraku said as he turned around to begin walking outside. "You will come with us, show us to your house, get your things together and you will move into our house as the wedding is planned out."
"What!?" All three, Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku yelled out in shock.
"Ain't no way in hell! Uh-uh, there's no way I will be moving in with you guys at all!" Inuyasha said putting his foot down.
"Oh?" Kikyo asked with a smirk. "Should I go ahead and make the call to kill Kagome and her brat?"
"Fine." Inuyasha grumbled as he accepted what couldn't be changed. "I'll be out there shortly."
Kikyo smiled, knowing she was getting her way because their plan was working so well, as she turned on her heel to follow her father out to the car to wait for Inuyasha.
"Are you sure this is such a good idea?" Miroku asked as he walked to stand next to Inuyasha.
"What other choice do I have, Miro?" Inuyasha asked feeling quite defeated. "I have to do whatever it takes to keep Kagome alive."
"What do you want us to do?" Sango asked knowing that there was no way Inuyasha would so easily agree to something like this, she knew that there was some kind of plan in his mind.
"I want you to find any clue you can, anything to tell us where they are keeping Kagome. I'll be doing the same, keeping as close as I can to them - playing along with their game so I can see if I can overhear something or have them slip up and tell me where she is themselves." Inuyasha said before leaving Sango and Miroku in the warehouse alone.
Sango and Miroku looked at each other knowing of only a few people with the tracking specialty of being able to find anyone with ease, Shippo being one of them and the other would severely piss Inuyasha off - they weren't even sure if they would help, however, they had to try, they needed everyone and anyone that would be willing to help and find Kagome and Hiro. They nodded at each other before leaving the warehouse to put their plans in motion.
*X*
Inuyasha, Naraku and Kikyo all walked into Kagome's mom's mansion, however, Kagome's mom was nowhere to be seen - though Inuyasha didn't give it any thought, thinking that she was probably running errands or whatnot.
"Come on, Phantom, I'll show you to our room." Kikyo said with an excited giggle.
"Our?" Inuyasha asked feeling sick again.
"Well, yes, dummy." Kikyo said playfully as she grabbed his hand and pulling him in the direction of her room. "We're getting married soon, why wouldn't we share a room?"
Inuyasha inwardly grumbled as he had to force himself not to pull away from Kikyo, he wanted to play his cards right in order to find Kagome and Hiro - he seriously hoped he could find them before it was too late for Hiro.
"Here we are!" Kikyo said with a wide smile as she opened the door to her room before pushing him inside.
"Hey, watch it!" Inuyasha growled not taking kindly to being pushed.
Kikyo waved him off with a giggle as she tried to throw herself at him and wrap her arms around his neck, however, Inuyasha pushed her off him with another growl.
Getting angry Kikyo stood up and got into Inuyasha's face. "Listen here, buster, you might not like me yet - however, if you want Kagome and Hiro to live, you will do what I say and I say kiss me!"
"Look," Inuyasha said as he came up with an excuse not to kiss her, "I'm old school, I don't kiss or have sex until after the wedding day - so this sleeping arrangement won't work for me until we are married, and we can't get married until Kagome and I are divorce."
"Oh, come on Phantom." Kikyo said with a rather suggestive look as she pulled down her sleeve some to show of her bare shoulder. "Let's have some fun."
"Nope." Inuyasha replied, popping his lips on the p of nope. "It goes against my morals." He could tell that Kikyo was pissed as her brows furrowed, her lips pouted, and she crossed her harms over her chest as she stomped her foot like a toddler throwing a fit over something they were denied.
"Ugh, fine," Kikyo said rolling her eyes, giving up rather quickly - though Inuyasha wasn't complaining, "you can sleep in the spare room, down the hall last door on the right."
"Thank you." Inuyasha said in an exasperated way as he turned on his heel and walked down the hall to go to his new room, he entered the room and closed the door with a sigh as his mind went to Kagome and Hiro - he was worried about them and wanted them back with him where they belonged at whatever cost. All he could do now was wait on Sango and Miroku to do whatever they could to make life right again, hopefully it wouldn't be too late. Kagome being back in his arms again was the last thought he had before he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, Inuyasha woke up, went to the bathroom and took a shower before getting dressed for the day before leaving the room. He walked straight to the front door intending on leaving to do his part in the search of Kagome and Hiro.
"Hey, Phantom?" Kikyo called as Inuyasha's hand was on the door handle. "Could you come in here please?"
Inuyasha sighed and rolled his eyes before turning on his heel and changing his course of path from leaving to walking into the kitchen where Kikyo sat at the table filling in some type of paperwork with Naraku sitting across from her reading a newspaper and sipping coffee. "What?" He gruffed out as he leaned against the door jamb with a roll of his eyes as he folded his arms across his chest.
"I'm filling out our marriage license request and I need to know your name." Kikyo asked as she aimed a smile at Inuyasha.
"Phantom Taisho." Inuyasha replied matter of fact.
Kikyo's smile faltered slightly, however, didn't completely leave her face as she playfully rolled her eyes and giggled. "No, silly, your real name."
"Who told you that wasn't my real name?" Inuyasha asked smugly with a cocked eyebrow.
Kikyo's smile did leave her face this time as she lost her playful manner for a more serious one. "Please don't take me for a fool. I know that your name isn't Phantom, so tell me right now what your name is."
"Sorry to disappoint you, but that is my real name." Inuyasha lied smoothly with a hint of danger behind his tone.
Kikyo slammed the pen she was using down on the table and stood up so fast that the chair fell to the ground. "If you don't tell me right now then I will go torture Kagome and make her tell me what your name is!"
Naraku seemed to be ignoring the conversation as he turned the page of his newspaper before taking another sip of his coffee.
Inuyasha tensed up as he pushed himself off the door jamb and dropped his arms back to his sides as his hands balled into fists, his eyebrows furrowed, and his lip curled back revealing his canines. "She will tell you that my name is Phantom as well, you'll be wasting your time." He said with a growl.
"We will see." Kikyo said as she looked towards Naraku. "Daddy, I think Kagome is bored and needs some company."
Naraku laid his newspaper down before standing up, Inuyasha watched as he raised his hand up to snap his fingers - Inuyasha knew that Naraku had teleportation powers and that with a snap of his fingers he could go wherever he wanted.
"Wait!" Inuyasha said relaxing his body before looking toward the floor in defeat. "I'll tell you."
*X*
Sango and Miroku stood in front of the door that Sango thought she would never see again, and really - she would have been just fine never being here again, however she needed as much help as she could get. She let out a sigh as she raised her hand to knock on the door and waited for the door to be answered.
A few minutes had passed before the door opened revealing the butler that Sango and Inuyasha had grown up with.
"Are my parents in Mr. Botan?" Sango asked not wanting to waste precious time.
Botan didn't say anything, though he did move to the side and allowed her and Miroku entry into the home.
"They are in the dining room having dinner." Botan informed before going back to his post.
Sango led Miroku into the dining room where they found the people she was searching for eating around the table.
"Sango?" Izayoi, Inuyasha and Sango's mother, said as she stood up from her seat. "What are you doing here?" She asked as Toga, their father, and Sesshomaru stared at Sango in confusion.
"Where's Inuyasha?" Toga asked as he too stood up, Sesshomaru turned back to his food a casually started eating again, though he was still listening on the conversation.
Anger flared up inside Sango's gut, unintentionally, before spreading throughout her entire body as tears pooled in her eyes. It was these people's fault that her brother was forced to choose this kind of lifestyle, their fault that he was going through this right now, their fault that her best friend was kidnapped - God only knows what she was going through right now or where she even was - and it was their fault that her best friend's son might die.
"Why?" Sango asked as her hands balled up into fists and tears started flowing down her face unchecked. "Why did you kick Inuyasha out? What did he do that was so bad, bad enough that you would turn your backs on him?" She asked in a trembling voice as tears continued to roll down her face and drip of her chin onto the floor. "Why!?" She screamed.
"Sango," Toga said with a sigh, that sounded an awful lot like regret - though Sango was crying to hard that she couldn't tell, "you don't understand." He said as he rounded the corner to try and take her hand.
Sango snatched her hand away as she took a couple steps back. "You're right, I don't understand. He didn't do anything to warrant you abandoning him! I want to know why you did it!"
"Is Inuyasha okay?" Izayoi asked as she too came to stand in front of Sango.
"Don't act like you care now, mother, it's your fault that he had to choose the life he has - it's your fault that his wife got taken and your fault that he's being forced to remarry some crazy bitch while his wife and son are in their captivity!" Sango cried.
"Sango," Izayoi said as she brought her hands up in a hugging motion as she stepped forward.
"No!" Sango said as she slapped Izayoi's hands away. "You don't get to do that! You don't get to act like you fucking care when you don't, so drop the act!"
"I think we should go to the living room to sit and talk about what's going on." Sesshomaru said calmly as he stood up before walking towards the living room not looking to see if the others were following him.
"Sesshomaru's right, come on, we'll explain everything." Toga said as he placed his hand on the small of Izayoi's back before leading her to follow Sesshomaru into the living room.
Though, Sango didn't want to follow them, she knew she needed answers as to why their parents had been so cruel - so she started to follow them when Miroku stopped her.
"Are you sure you want to go speak with them?" Miroku asked with concern.
"Yes." Sango nodded. "Not only do I need answers, but we also need their help."
Miroku sighed but nodded as he grabbed her by the hand to give her comfort as well as the strength she needed to get through this conversation they were about to have.
When they entered the room, they found Sesshomaru already sitting beside Izayoi on the couch and Toga sitting in the recliner.
Sango and Miroku sat in the couch that sat adjacent from the couch that Izayoi and Sesshomaru sat in.
"Look," Toga started as he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "I know what I did seemed harsh-"
"You think?" Sango interrupted Toga as she cocked an eyebrow giving him a disappointed look, before her parents kicked Inuyasha out - Sango had been a big daddy's girl, when Izayoi would go look for Sango - she would either look in Toga's office or wherever it was that needed his attention, like house repairs, yard work, etc. she would always be there by him. However, if she wasn't around Toga, it was Inuyasha she was following around - they came neck and neck with each other for her, not one over the other. So, when Toga demanded Inuyasha to leave, her world was shattered. The man that she looked up to so much, with all her love, broke her heart when he told her brother to leave. It made her see him in a whole different light, that night the man she looked up too and admired became a stranger to her and so she left with her brother - not able to look at either her dad or her mom the same way as she once had.
"However," Toga continued giving Sango a look silently telling her to not interrupt again, "I do have my reasons on why I did what I did."
"And that would be?" Sango asked harshly.
Deep down Toga knew why Sango was acting this way, so he didn't comment on it, though, it didn't mean he had to like how she was speaking to him. He gave her another pointed look but continued on telling his side of the story. "It's tradition that once your child turns the age of fifteen, they must be thrown out to see if they can survive in the world - it's called coming to age as well as survival of the fittest. I was going to do the same thing to you when you became of age, but you decided to leave with Inuyasha and since you were fourteen - I decided to let you go as well."
"What!?" Sango shrieked as she shot up from her seat. "Survival of the fittest!? What are we, fucking animals!?"
"Sango, please sit back down." Izayoi said in a soft voice, she could understand why Sango was upset, it took a lot of convincing from Toga to have her be even a little okay with the idea - if she'd known she would lose both Inuyasha and Sango, she never would have agreed to it, however, she was around when he did it to Sesshomaru - and yes, Sesshomaru was angry and stopped talking to them for a while but in the end, he came around but was much colder than what he once was. She didn't want that for Inuyasha or Sango, though, she couldn't talk Toga out of it - he meant well and just wanted to prepare the kids for the harsh world out there, however, she didn't want her babies as cold as Sesshomaru was now - but she guessed that couldn't be helped now.
Sango huffed an irritated sigh but sat down as her mother had asked her too. "What about Sesshomaru, did you kick him out as well?" She asked harshly, she was never too close with Sesshomaru to begin with, with him being fourteen when she came to live with the family, he was much too old for them to truly connect in anyway - however, she did remember that he was gone for several years a year after she moved in.
Toga gave a curt nod in confirmation. "You were about to turn five, so you probably don't remember me telling him to get out."
"Why didn't you at least tell us what you were doing?" Sango asked as she crossed her arms over her chest, her anger was starting to dissipate as the sadness from this whole situation started to seep in.
"I'm sorry, Sango, I truly am - but I couldn't tell you, it's also tradition that the reasonings are kept a secret until the child proves themselves as an adult." Toga answered with a shake of his head.
"And did we pass your test, father?" Sango asked as she tightened her arms around herself.
Toga cracked a small smile. "You don't know how proud I am of you both."
That did it, Sango's wall broke down as tears flowed freely out of her eyes in a choked sob. "Proud?"
Toga's smile grew wider as he stood up to stand in front of Sango before pulling her up and giving her a tight hug, which she immediately returned. "Yes, proud. Not only did you guys survive, but you also took the city by the balls and quickly became the most talked about and respected people of the entire city. Every time a hear about your and Inuyasha's good doings and accomplishments it's like music to my ears. That's why I was at the party the hospital threw for Inuyasha, I wanted to show how proud I was of you both - but things got a little carried away and for that I'm sorry. I'm so very sorry. I wanted to tell you how proud I was for a long while now, however, every time I tried - neither one of you wanted to talk with me, it always ended up a fight, so I kind of just stood back, always watching, always proud - hoping that one day you two would let me back in."
Izayoi stood up as well as she came over to give Sango a hug as well as say she was sorry too.
Sango couldn't say anything for she was crying too hard, so Toga stayed silent as well and held her as she tried to get herself together.
"That little lady Inuyasha was with sure knows how to fight doesn't she?" Toga asked with a slight chuckle.
"Where is Inuyasha?" Sesshomaru asked, not for the first time that night, with a cocked eyebrow.
"Oh," Sango said as she pulled away from her parents and wiped her tears away, "I, uh, need your help actually."
"Is he okay?" Izayoi asked as fear gripped her heart.
"Well, he's okay physically for now, however, he's being held against his will while they have Kagome and her son in an undisclosed location. They are holding them captive and forcing Inuyasha to divorce Kagome and marry Kikyo, they are threatening to kill both Kagome and her son to get him to do what they want and since we don't know where they are, Inuyasha has no choice but to agree to their terms. I need your help, all of you are trained searchers that can find anyone no matter where they are, please I need your help in finding my best friends." Sango said with tears in her eyes.
"Do you have any idea of where they might be at?" Izayoi asked as Toga and Sesshomaru started packing up things that they would need to bring with them, such as a first aid kit, snacks for Kagome and her son, weapons etc.
"I think Inuyasha might be over at Kagome's parent's house, but I don't have any idea as to where Kagome or Hiro are." Miroku said as he stood up.
"Kagome's parents?" Toga asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It's a long story, I'll tell you later, right now we don't have the time." Sango said.
Toga nodded in agreement. "Okay, let's go."
Hope you enjoyed this chapter, until next time, bye!
