Kenshi and Zero, who are currently in the lab, are discussing the recent events involving Doll/Mexiah. Doll/Mexiah jumped into Kenshi's arms, prompting Kenshi to press the button on his collar to freeze time. He then grabbed onto Ulyte to bring them all into the lab for assistance.
Kenshi proceeded to inject Doll/Mexiah with a solution that would prevent them from merging their mind, bodies, and spirits, allowing them to eventually be separated into their own individual entities.
The same procedure was performed on Ulyte to ensure they could obtain their bodies.
The repairs were numerous and at least in Zero's humble opinion tedious. Much like he and Kenshi had thought, these girls were absolutely clueless as to how to do proper repair work at all, some of them had such inflated egos that made it impossible for them to listen to instructions much less follow orders, going as far as to complain constantly about how anyone dared to think they had the right to boss them around.
Kenshi tried to explain in a lovely and tender tone, but Zero knew this was the case because the women in question were women Kenshi was interested in adding to his harem, they, therefore, did not receive such consideration from Zero, who did not waste any effort and told them flat out if they are not going to listen and do as they were asked, then get the fuck out of the way, and let those that would get on with the fucking repairs. Half a day later he said that they managed to complete many of the repairs of the many places that had been either destroyed or damaged due to the rampage the previous day.
As one of them began to drink tea she smiled, "I say we have plenty of reason to feel proud, in less than a day we have finished almost half of all repair work, reconstruction, and even cleaning, in fact, we have accomplished more than even I dared to imagine when all this started." Lithia said that the only people who should have the right to say that are people who actually did the work, and not simply sat down drinking and eating sweets, while others work.
Lashara took a sip of her tea and said that they were asked not to be in the way, so in her opinion actually retreating and not doing anything was the only right decision they could take. "As for not working I don't want to hear that from the student body president, who was told that her only possible useful skills was setting the table for snacks and drinks, not exactly living up to the image of the student body president now are you?"
Lithia was in tears as she said it was not her damn fault that she happened to have a natural talent for proper table manners and etiquette. As they were saying this Kenchi and Aura finished installing the replacement flag pole on top of the last building, which made the others cheer that the repairs were finally over and only took a day. Aura began to drink her tea as she sat down, feeling clearly tired. "If anything this has made me appreciate all the work people do to maintain and keep the academy as it usually is. I never realized that the staff does so much work, and as students, we take this all for granted."
Wahanly smiled and said she in the end obtained a lot of useful data, that she would use to improve her inventions, one of which of course was the Mecha worker, she saw that she needed to improve the energy cost and operational time, this entire thing taught her and showed her what her initial model severely lacks. "The fact that I find the most frustrating is, that both Zero and Kenshi have declared that they are members of their royal family, princes no less, and yet being in almost the same social class as both Marianne and I, they are actually quite used and knowledgeable about all the menial and common skills in ways we had no knowledge of. Why are they so good at this stuff while we could not even hope to match them let alone try to equal their skills."
Zero for some strange reason wanted to get the hell out of this particular situation, the fact that they were standing near some of the previous women Kenshi massaged did not give a good feeling at all, considering who they overreacted during the forest fiasco. "We are here to discuss the status and results of the repairs, as such I don't believe we need anyone to help us bathe. In fact, I would prefer if both of them left immediately."
Aura began to shake her head in agreement, "Yes it is quite concerning to be in this level of undress anywhere near Kenshi, considering what he made us endure thanks to his massage skills. That was when he was merely learning, there is no telling if he has even become more skilled, which would be an absolute danger to any of us present." That made all the women start to remember everything they had to endure after they each got their massages. They were pissed that Kenshi did not finish the job and unlike them, some of the women Zero actually did the same actually got to what some would call the happy ending.
As the girls remembered that they decided to get their revenge on Kenshi as they captured him, stripped his ass naked, and began to forcefully massage him in such a rough manner, that Kenshi began to cry as if they get brutally massaged by these women, "Now that is taken care we need to discuss the repairs we just finished, all repairs have been finished as planned." Mexiah finished saying that Kenshi complained about why the hell did he have to go through this entire thing, while they acted like a bunch of maniacs. Lithia mentioned that if he actually finished the job, they would have no issue, to which Kenshi told her if they had accepted to join his harem, he could have done that, since Zero had those women who he slept with, had actually had accepted the harem proposal when Zero made it.
As this was mentioned made some of the girls realize that technically had he done as they had wanted, this would have brought nothing but shame to them and their families, they came to also realize that they were to blame for what happened. Kenshi was far too embarrassed and sad about how he was treated, that he did not even notice Yukine trying to cheer him up by patting his head like he was a crying sad child.
Later that day Empress Lashara and the principal were discussing something rather alarming, someone or something was causing damage to her ship, there were holes all over, like someone was digging for something, Lashara even said it could be anything from moles to someone looking for buried treasure. Chiaia was shocked by what she heard, she had seen Kenshi looking at the crystals that stabilized the swan's energy field. That is when the principal asked if they could send the royal guard to investigate, even have guards from the church do something to find out what was going on.
Chiaia stood up rather quickly and laughed, making the women present think why would she laugh like that, "We don't need to bother any guards to capture one little Koroh, we can take care of this on our own and we don't need to get other people involved."
Little did she know that at the time, Kenshi was off looking for more places where he could find crystals, when he saw a person running away, almost like they were a thief, so he did the only thing he could, chase after them, this person foolishly thought that he was defenseless, until he caught hold of her, and feeling the body of this supposed thief, he realized that it was a woman wearing a rather unimaginative mask, he could tell immediately that it was the young woman who was often with Dagmyre.
That is when a second woman actually jumped down from a tree and got between them, she was wearing a much better disguise since it actually hid any features that could be used to identify her. They both took off in opposite directions and when he chased after the thief he had to jump down a ledge to a lower balcony, that is when he saw Dagmyre actually trying to pretend to be someone else, kissing his lover. "There have been many thieves around, you should take care, they might do you harm." Kenshi thanked him or at least pretended to and asked which way did the thief go?
He was told a direction that would mislead him, but instead, Kenshi simply said thank you and actually went in the opposite direction of where he was told, Dagmyre found this rather odd, "Well, did you get the blueprints as I asked?" The young woman took off her mask and handed him a disk, telling him she only took a copy of it, the original was still in the lab. She immediately confronted Kenshi and looked at him. "Are you really from another world?" This was when he flat out called her Auntie and said he already told her and Ulyte, that he was still making a new body for her so she could be separate from him and live. She had mixed feelings about this but for some reason decided to run off. Rea Two was actually very shocked to see that Kenshi had not only not lost track of her, but he was actually keeping up with her. This was particularly amazing since he was running at speeds no young man his age should be able to match. She however knew the capital a lot better than he did, so she used that knowledge to simply blend with the shadows and escape.
Kenshi wondered where the hell was that second thief, when without realizing he heard Mexiah ask him why was he there so late at night? "You know Kenshi, people will start to think all sorts of nasty rumors should they find you running around late at night, especially here." That is when he made the mistake of turning around and seeing her practically wearing the same thing she had been during the entire bathroom incident, blushing he turned around. "Don't be like that Kenshi, I was taking a bath, when you showed up, after all this is the women's dorm. You should be more concerned with what people will think, a young man, sneaking around the women's dorm, why people would think you were a peeper or a person trying to do something unmentionable to one of the students, not me, I know you would never do something like that."
She teased him and said that during the time he gave every one of those girls massages, he could have done that and more if he was like that, indignant Kenshi looked at her, "I would never engage in sexual intercourse of any kind, with a woman whom I did not have a formal and established relationship, the reason I made those proposals was to give each of them the chance to establish such relationship, not my fault they could not take a hint." Mexiah did remember what those three said, and the reason they gave for why Zero actually did that with them when Kenshi refused to.
"Technically speaking that is true, but also partially incorrect, I never said I rejected that proposal at all, in fact, I never mentioned to you that I just wanted to be friends either, so in some way, it was your fault for not realizing that I had accepted the proposal, just that it is quite embarrassing to have to say it out loud you know," Kenshi told him that he must follow ethics and code of honor of his family, thus he can not engage in actual sexual intercourse with someone who he has not entered into the appropriate relationship or promised to enter into such a relationship.
"Family is very strict when it comes to following family ethics, and I would never break them considering who exactly would be punished for it." Mexiah quickly asked who exactly would punish him or Zero should they break the rules, this made Kenshi just shutter in sheer terror as he said that it would be someone they call the devil princess of Jurai.
Mexiah asked if he was willing to give her a night of passion, to which Kenshi told her that he could not until the both of them had actually accepted the proposal, meaning unless Doll agreed he could not very well spend the night making love to her, because at this moment in time they still share the same body. Mexiah was quick to mention that she could not talk to Doll and Doll could not talk to her under normal circumstances, in fact, had he not mentioned how they lived, they would have been unaware of each other's existence. "Sort of what is happening with Aunty Rea and Mister Ulyte, they both share the same body, but much like him I and Zero am working hard to create new bodies for them, as we are trying to do for both of you, as for talking mental projection or even astral projection could allow both of you to talk to each other since your minds are connected."
How would that be difficult? Kenshi said that essentially creating a new body that fits a person like a glove is not the hard part, finding a way to transfer and make that new body receive the soul of another or separate both halves without causing harm to both, was the hard part, it was not easy and required massive amounts of both effort and calculation to even attempt, failure could lead to a death that was quite horrible.
"Hence why the making of the new body takes so long, it is a very complicated and demanding process, but both Zero and I have been working to perfect this in our lab, we were taught by the most brilliant mad scientist to ever live after all. Success is almost guaranteed but not absolutely, so we have to take precautions." She asked just how in the world could Doll talk to him, Kenshi immediately said imagine as if they are a two-person team, and they are switching places. If they both do that at the same time, there is no reason why Doll could not take control of their shared body, thus she would be able to talk to Kenshi even if it is only briefly.
Kenshi knew this was not an easy concept to understand, especially since there was a very small chance they knew what team competitions were, but this was the only way he could describe it and still say it decently. Much to his shock, Mexiah immediately began to glow, and for some strange reason the clothes she was wearing changed to fit the form of Doll, which was sort of odd to him. Doll immediately hugged him and said yes she accepted the proposal, and she was happy that he was so considerate of both of them. Other men would have jumped at the chance of fucking Mexiah with how curvy her body is, but Kenshi actually considered their feelings, which is something men forget to do.
She decided to tease him, and asked Kenshi which body he preferred, Mexiah's curvy body or her lean one? This was a land mine question if there ever was one, "I actually like both, you both are beautiful in your own way." This made Doll and even Mexiah's mind blush, Mexiah wanted to punch him for embarrassing a young woman like her, but instead, Doll punched him on the shoulder calling him a tease. Since they were technically taking a bath, no better chance to take advantage of the privacy and spend some time more intimately, since they both accepted the proposal.
Zero was checking on the condition of the mushrooms, and he began to shake his head, "That stupid Kenshi, doesn't he realize it takes time for these things to grow? He just hands them out like he is giving candy to kids at Halloween, damn it, I am going to have to grow more of these since that idiot is just giving them away, we are going to need money."
He continued to work on his robotic assistant model, granted it was mostly thanks to Washubot doing more of the work since the new assistant would be based on herself. Wahanly is obsessed with making robots, and Zero wonders if this new Washubot will be enough to keep her information secure and provide Wahanly much-needed help. That is when he received a warning signal saying that the integrity of the swan had been compromised. "Don't tell me that idiot has been digging for crystals again."
At the same time Empress Lashara and the Principal were again having discussions about the increasing reports of holes being made in the swan, and making the principal worry about potential thieves. Lashara simply said maybe a person was simply looking for something like long-lost buried treasure. Chiaia knew exactly who was behind it, "Actually I got a pretty good guess who did this, and no we don't need to get the church involved in this, we don't need their help to catch one measly little koroh."
They began to sneak around and Lashara asked why were they going through so much trouble, Chiaia told her they needed to make sure they were not seen, or else their target would escape. That is when they saw Kenshi sneaking around in the bushes, and he even uncovered a hole in the ground that he kept hidden with some leaves. "Damn that idiot, he is even using camouflage to do this." The minute that he went in, they rushed to cover all possible escape routes, Kenshi was caught quite easily and was dragged to answer why he was doing this to the audience chamber of the Empress.
"You idiot, you could have damaged the Swan's internal stability? What the hell were you even thinking?" Lashara was more interested in the crystal Kenshi had with him, he quickly said he would never put the swan in any danger, he made sure not to leave the holes and made sure to fill them back up when they were no longer used.
"Yes, that is fascinating, but what we want to know is why the interest in these crystals? They are pretty but there has to be something more than just that." Lashara could not figure out why Kenshi was so interested in the crystals at all. Kenshi told her that they sort of reminded him of a spaceship that took off from his brother's lake. He made sure to describe the majesty of seeing that for the first time, how the crystals glistened in the sunlight.
Lashara was taken aback by this, and asked him if this spaceship was able to travel to the other planets? Kenshi told her of course that ship could do that, it was very common knowledge from where they came from. She decided to ask him if everyone had a ship like that, "Don't be silly, while yes the Juraian Empire has a large territory, on many worlds, owning a spaceship is expensive, and the cost of owning and maintaining a ship could only be afforded by either extremely wealthy families or members of the royal family. The only other group that has ships is the Galaxy Police, but that is because they also handle all interstellar deliveries, so they are quite wealthy, having a monopoly on the delivery of both letters and packages between planets."
Kenshi mentioned that even he and Zero went on several trips to other planets growing up, "Some of them were vacation planets, that our family liked to use to take family trips, some others were for training and education, knowing the benefit of physical training on high gravity worlds. So space travel is quite common for me and my family." Lashara was speechless at how nonchalant he was about this, Chiaia asked why was this so shocking to her, and that is when she said, at present their world had at most sent a small rocket to their moon, it was nearly impossible for them to travel to another planet.
"I swear it makes Kenshi and Zero seem more like time travelers, rather than people who got summoned to our world. This could mean they are not from another world like we think, but rather they come from the future." As Zero heard this he entered the room laughed, and called that no better than science fiction, of course, they did not travel through time, they came from another dimension, summoned to this place, after all, they have a mission and a foe that must be defeated.
As Chiaia was not done she grabbed something Kenshi was wearing and accused him of taking some of the crystals and making a pendant for himself, to which Kenshi told her, he did not, the pendant was something that was made using one of the crystals from his sister's ship, but sadly Chiaia was a little too rough with the pendant, causing the chain to snap. She profusely apologized and told Kenshi she would find a way to fix it. "Oh please, you will never be able to fix that, you are like the most clumsy person I ever met in my life." Chiaia took that comment as a challenge and an insult.
She took it upon herself first to ask the head maid, but even she had no clue, not even jewelers who work for the royal family could fix that, many other craftsmen looked at it and flat out said the level of detail and precision was beyond them, honestly even jewelers who work for Sacred Mecha Masters would have a hard time repairing much less replacing that. Marianne suggested if the thing could not be repaired, or replaced, why not make him a new one, using the technique from her homeland, they could make him a braided cord.
"Depending on the color, it is merely used to convey your feelings to another person, this could be the best way to convey your remorse for breaking that chain, as for how they are made, do not worry, Yukine and I can teach you how to make that braided cord, it is common practice where I come from," Chiaia said that it would be useless, because as much as she hated to admit it, Kenshi was right, she was rather clumsy so she might not even be able to make one, Yukine simply said she will never know unless she at least tries.
For the next few days, Chiaia spent every waking moment working on that one braided cord, without realizing that she was so focused on completing it, that she made a tragic mistake, which she would later regret. Dagmyre actually was quite surprised one day to see her working so intensely and intently, so out of sheer curiosity or to sound that he actually cared about people around him, he asked her what was she doing? "What are you working on with such fervor? It must be something terribly important for you to spend all that time working on something so intricate, so what is it?"
Chiaia simply was surprised by the question and who asked it, "I am just making a cord for Kenshi, I accidentally broke the chain to his pendant, so I am making a cord for him as a replacement. He told me the pendant was made by his sister and was a precious gift to him, but making a braided cord is a lot more difficult than even I had realized, so it is taking me so much effort, but I promised him, so I will keep my word." Dagmyre pretended to laugh and decided to tease her and said that maybe she was putting so much effort into it for another reason, she might have feelings for that strange boy from the outlands. He left saying under his breath that he did not even see why it was needed, she could buy him a gold chain and be done with it, but no she was making something by hand.
The theft of the blueprints happened almost better than planned, and Wahanly was happy to report that nothing else in her lab was touched or stolen, which means the enemy had done as they expected, this was something that made the head maid and the principal relax, thinking if everything goes as planned, they might prevent the tragedy that could happen. Zero was asked if he had any idea of what these traitors could be after, Zero of course knew, but he could not tell them, so he only smiled, "It is almost a guess, but the way Lashara was attacked, she carried the Sacred Mechanoid, so stealing that could be their intended target."
