Kazuhiro returned home after his first day of school. After taking off his jacket, he threw himself onto the bed. He couldn't help but wonder how much different U.A. was compared to his original school. A lot of pressure and high stakes was going on in just the first day. Even though it turned out that Aizawa's expulsion was fake, it still set a precedent for things to come.
His mind went back to his family and friends back home. It's been two months since he disappeared. He wondered if Hundred was still terrorizing his home or if…
"No, there's still a chance they got away," Kazuhiro said as sat up. He stood as the Decade card materialized in his hand. He looked at it and spoke, "I will return the first chance I get."
The classes on the following day were the standard curriculum that you'd expect out of a high school. Tuesday morning was English, math, and computer science. It felt weird starting over since Kazuhiro was familiar with English and math lessons. He was glad about it since it's less time to catch up. After the morning classes, it would be the class everyone joined this school: the Hero course.
As Kazuhiro took his seat, he glanced at Midoriya and noticed that his hand was fine.
"Oh, Midoriya, you're finger," Kazuhiro said. "It looks fine."
Midoriya turned to face him. "Oh, it was thanks to Recovery Girl. She used her Quirk to heal me."
"Recovery girl?" Kazuhiro asked.
"She's the school nurse. Her Quirk activates our bodies' healing functions. The only caveat is that we feel extremely tired from using it since it does use up our strength," Midoriya explained.
"I see. I guess with her around, the school can afford to do such rigorous classes," Kazuhiro said.
Midoriya nodded. He asked, "It's Kimura-kun, right?"
"It is," Kazuhiro said.
"I just wanted to say that you have a really impressive Quirk. What kind of things can you do when you transform?" Midoriya asked.
"I don't want to spoil too much. I think it might be more fun to see what I can do in the field," Kazuhiro said. "But, I think I can tell you that I as Decade, I can summon a sword that can transform into a gun."
"Summoning weapons. That sounds useful," Midoriya said. "But what do you mean when you say "as Decade"?"
"You'll see," Kazuhiro said.
Kazurhirothought that playing mysterious was kinda fun and something to spice up his time around this school. The amount of attention he has here when compared to Ishinimori was like night and day. He thought about having fun with it before he went back.
"I am-!" All Might announced before he swung himself into the room while holding onto the door frame. "... coming through the door like a normal person."
The students gasp in awe at the sight of All Might. Kazuhiro educated himself on the Top Heroes of the country. According to the recent list, All Might is No. 1 and has been for a long time. While the other kids were excited to see the best hero of his country, Kazuhiro couldn't be on the same wavelength as them.
The last time Kazuhiro saw him in person, he was wearing a suit. Now he's wearing his hero costume. His costume consisted of a red shirt with a circle in the center of his chest along with similarly colored lines going across his costume. He wore a large blue cape and pants.
"Wow, he really is a teacher!" Kirishima shouted.
"That's a costume from the Silver Age, isn't it?" Tsuyu pointed out.
"Its style is so different, it's giving me goosebumps," another student said. All Might strutted towards the podium of the classroom.
"I teach Hero Basic Training. It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You'll take most units of this subject! Let's get right into it! This is what we'll do today," All Might announced as he pulled out a card that had the words battle on it. "Combat training!"
"This will be interesting," Kazuhiro thought.
"And to go with that are these!" All Might said as he pointed at the wall. Shelves of briefcases slowly slid out of the walls. "Costumes made based on your Quirk registrations and requests you sent in before school started. After you change, gather in Ground Beta!"
In the changing room, Kazuhiro dressed up in his Hero costume. While Decade will be costumes he wears most of the time, he needed a costume for the off-ours for when he's not in his different Rider forms. He sported a black leather jacket with magenta sides. He has Decade's symbol on the left side of his chest. In the back are the 23 symbols of the other Kamen Riders in a circle that surrounds Decade's. He wore a belt that had various utility pouches around it. When he transforms, Kazuhiro doesn't have any access to anything that is on his body except whatever is on the Decadriver's belt.
"I imagine your transformation would be your costume," Kirishima said. His hero costume consisted of him being shirtless with red gear-shaped shoulderpads. HE sported black baggy pants and a ripped piece of red clothing around his waist. He also wore a black, wired mask around the bottom of his face. It barely covered his face as it just circled his mouth and nose.
"My transformation runs on a two-hour timer at most before I feel fatigued. It drains quickly based on what I do in the field. This costume is for the "off-hours" transformation time," Kazuhiro explained.
"Sounds efficient. You'd want to maximize the time you'd use your powers," Iida said. His costume consisted of a dark one-piece beneath white pieces of armor on his chest and legs. His boots had exhausts on them, which Kazuhiro guessed it was to support his holding his helmet next to him, which covered his full face. The mouthguard had a few holes to breathe through it. In a way, it reminded him of a Kamen Rider suit.
After dressing up, Class 1-A entered the training ground as a group. All Might was waiting for them at the end of the tunnel.
"They say the clothes make the man, young men, and ladies. Be fully aware that from now on…" All Might paused dramatically before shouting, "You are heroes!
Everyone lined up in their hero costume. Kazuhiro stood off to the right side near Kirishima and next to a student named Denki Kaminari, whose costume consisted of a black jacket with a light decal throughout it and his pants. He also wore a communication piece on his right ear.
"That's great, everyone. You all look cool! Now, shall we begin, you zygotes?" All Might asked.
"Sir!" Iida proclaimed as he raised his hand. "This is a battle center from the entrance exam, so will we be conducting urban battles again?"
"No, we're going to move ahead two steps! Most of the time, fighting villains takes place outside, but if you look at the total numbers, atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate," All Might explained. "Imprisonment, house arrest, and backroom deals are just some of the examples that could go on without detection. In this society filled with heroes, truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows! For this class, you'll be split into villains and heroes and fight indoor battles."
"Without basic training?" Tsuyu asked.
"This is a real battle to understand those basics! However, the key this time is that there's no robot you can just beat up," All Might explained.
"How will wins and losses be determined?" Yaoyorozu asked. Her costume consisted of a sleeveless leotard which was exposed from the neck down. She wore gold utility belts around her waist. Behind her was a book.
"Can we beat them up anyway?" Bakugo asked. His costume consisted of a black tank top with an orange X in the middle. He also wore black baggy pants with grenade-shaped gauntlets. The final touch on his costume was the black mask that covered his eyes and had an explosion-shaped piece on the back of his head.
"Will the punishment be expulsion like with Mr. Aizawa?" Uraraka asked. Her costume consisted of a black suit with a pink stripe down the middle. She also wore large, pink boots and gloves. Her headpiece consisted of a large, pink-tinted visor.
"How shall we be split up?" Iida asked.
"Isn't this cape crazy?" Aoyama asked as he showed off his cape. His costume consisted of a knight-like attire with crystals around the shoulders, stomach, and kneepads. He wore a very stylish pair of red-tinted glasses that turned upwards to a tall peak.
All Might felt overwhelmed by the questions and Midoriya was the only one to notice. His costume consisted of a full-body jumpsuit with two rabbit ears sticking out along with a mouth guard.
"I will answer your questions!" All Might proclaimed. He pulled out a notebook and cleared his throat. "Now listen here. The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time. The villains need to protect the nuclear weapon for the whole time or catch the heroes."
All Might pull out a large box. All Might proclaimed, "Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing lots!"
"They're being decided so haphazardly?" Iida asked.
"Pros often have to create makeshift teams with heroes from other agencies maybe that's why?" Izuku explained.
""I see. The discernment to look ahead," Iida muttered. He bowed and shouted, "Please excuse my rudeness!"
"It's fine! Let's do it quickly!" All Might announced.
"I have a question about the team formations," Yaoyorozu raised her hand.
"Hm, what seems to confuse you?" All Might asked.
"I'm just wondering how many people are going to be in each team of heroes and villains," Yaoyorzu said.
"It will be a 2v2 match."
"How can it be a 2v2 match if there's 21 of us?" Yaoyorozu asked.
All Might was caught off-guard by this revelation. "Yes, we do seem to have an extra student here. This year participants seemed so promising that U.A. was willing to take in one extra student who was barely there but missed the mark by being surpassed by someone else."
"An extra student?" Ashido asked. Her costume consisted of a body suit that cropped at her shoulders and arms. It was purple and turquoise with a camouflage pattern. She wore a sleeveless jacket with a white mask.
"That student must be very lucky," Tsuyu said. Her hero costume consisted of a light-green body suit with a dark green line going across it. She wore long, black boots with frog-shaped flippers.
"I made this plan a few months ago before the decision was made. I guess I should look back and review my plans to compensate," All Might said. "Very well! I will choose a student at random for the extra sixth round! I will take volunteers for that round! If you somehow failed your initial round or feel like you could do better, then please step forward but we'll worry about it when we get there!"
All Might stroked his chin as he looked at the group of students. Out of instinct, he picked Kazuhiro since he was the extra student. "Young Kimura! You shall be the star of the sixth round! The teams will be decided when we reach that round!"
"Subtle," Kazuhiro thought. The teams began to form.
Once they were formed, All Might reached down into two separate boxes and pulled out two balls with the labels of A and D. If he recalled correctly, Team A is Midoriya and Uraraka and D is Iida and Bakugo. Based on the interaction from yesterday, this will be a very interesting match.
"Team A will be the heroes, and Team D will be the villains. Everyone else, head toward the monitor room," All Might said. Everyone began to make their way to the designated area. Kazuhiro looked back to see Bakugo and Midoriya glaring at each other.
"What a way to start the class," Kazuhiro muttered.
Kazuhiro and the rest of Class 1-A went to the monitor room and waited for the match to start. All Might entered the room and grabbed the mic to announce the start of the match.
"Now, let's start the indoor person-to-person combat training with Team A and Team D!" All Might announced.
Kazuhiro watched as Midoriya and Uraraka made their way through the building. There were long hallways that led into different corridors and intersecting hallways.
"Bakugo's Quirk is definitely dangerous in a close-range environment. It has both range and power," Kazuhiro thought.
Suddenly Bakugo attacked from around the corner and attacked Midoriya and Uraraka. The green-haired teenager managed to grab Uraraka and push her out of the way of the blast. However, the attack damaged his mask.
"A surprise attack from the start?" a student said.
"Bakugou, that's cheating! A surprise attack isn't manly at all!" Kirishima proclaimed.
"A surprise attack is a strategy, too., "All Might pointed out. "They're in the middle of a real battle right now."
Midoriya managed to tackle Bakugo and lift him up in the air. Before he could react, Bakugo was thrown onto the ground. Kazuhiro couldn't help but smirk at the determination in Midoriya's eyes. Out of everyone in this class, he definitely would have to push the hardest but it isn't weighing him down at all.
Midoriya and Bakugo looked like they were talking a lot based on the camera footage. However, there was no audio feedback.
"What was Bakugo saying? Can't tell with just the cameras in a fixed position and no sound," Kirishima said.
"He's talking to his partner over the small wireless radio. You can bring that plus the building's floor plan and…" All Might reached inside a box and pulled out the tape. "...this capture tape! Once you wrap this around your opponent, it shows that you have captured them.
The time limit is 15 minutes, and the heroes don't know where the nuclear weapon is located, right?" Ashido asked.
"Yes!"
"The heroes are clearly at a disadvantage here!"
"Heroes should be able to turn the tables on whatever predicament they're in. Besides, didn't Mr. Aizawa tell you, too? You know?" All Might wiggled his finger. "Plus Ultra!
Everyone else raised their hands and shouted, "Plus Ultra!"
Kazuhiro looked around confused a bit before following up with a fist raise.
"Monsieur, Bakugo is!" Aoyama pointed out suddenly. Everyone turned to the monitor and watched as Bakugo tried to attack Midoriya. He managed to block it and redirect Bakugo's attack with capture.
"He's not even using his Quirk fighting against the guy who finished first in the entrance exam!" Sero proclaimed. His costume had a tape-shaped helmet and shoulderpads. It was a black body suit with a white mid-torso area.
Uraraka used this opportunity to run out of the area as Izuku distracted Bakugo. Once the smoke from Bakugo's attack cleared up, he focused on Midoriya and prepared an attack. Midoriya did the smart thing and ran away.
"He could trick him so many times before Bakugo could get a wind of what he can do," Kazuhiro commented.
"Very observant!" All Might proclaimed. "You all know what happens to Midoriya if he uses his Quirk based on the test yesterday."
"I can't imagine what he can do if he decided to use his full fist for an attack," Kirishima said.
For the next few minutes, it was a cat-and-mouse game. Bakugo was chasing Midoriya across the building. Meanwhile, Urakaka managed to find the bomb's location but Iida was protecting it. Instead of using his speed to apprehend her, Iida approached her slowly to see how she would react.
It was only a matter of time when Bakugo found Midoriya. However, once he found him, he pulled on a pin on his gauntlet. That unleashed a massive explosion that shook the ground to the monitor room. Midoriya was blasted into the next room, his mask fully blown off and his right sleeve torn.
Meanwhile, above, Iida tried to contact Bakugo but Uraraka used this to touch the bomb. She immediately bolted and Iida used his Quirk to try to catch her. However, she used her Zero Gravity Quirk to fly over Iida and touch the bomb. Iida was quick enough to realize her plan and moved the bomb out of the way.
"Teacher, you should stop them! That Bakugo's really crazy He's gonna kill him!" Kirishima said.
"No," All Might said reluctantly.
"But with a move like that, he could not only destroy the building but accidentally kill Midoriya," Kazuhiro spoke up.
"That's exactly why I'm giving him a warning to not use it. He needs to learn how to not use such destructive moves so recklessly in the place he is assigned to defend," All Might said. He grabbed the mic and said, "Young Bakugo, the next time you use that, I'll stop the fight, and your team will lose. To attack on such a large scale inside is inviting the destruction of the stronghold you should be protecting. That is a foolish plan for both heroes and villains! You will lose a lot of points for it!"
Bakugo complied reluctantly. He charged at Midoriya and he decided to meet him in the middle. The explosive blonde created a smoke screen with his Quirk and launched himself over Midoriya to get behind him. He then blasted him from the back.
"What was that just now?" Kirishima questioned.
"He doesn't look like the type to think but he's more subtle than I expected," Todoroki spoke. His costume consisted of one half of his body being covered in ice while the other half wasn't. He wears a white, long-sleeved shirt with a matching pair of pants.
"What do you mean?"
"He changed his course in a blast that doubled as a smoke screen and then did it again immediately."
"Getting in a clean hit while fighting against inertia requires fine lateral adjustments to the power of the explosions," Yaoyorozu explained.
Back in the fight, Bakugo smacked Midoroiya in the back before grabbing his wrist. He used his Quirk to build momentum and slam Midoriya in the ground. Everyone looked down on Bakugo's poor behavior towards Midoriya. Their gripes are surfacing and are on full display. Once he recovered, Midoriya crawled away from Bakugo and towards the window.
"He's running away? That's not something a man should do but he has no choice," Kirishima said.
"Bakugo cornered him. I wonder if he's going to use his Quirk," Kazuhiro asked.
The class watched the two of them continue to talk before they came charging at each other. Kazuhiro took a step forward, interested to see what Midoriya would do. As Bakugo tried to blast him, Midoriya was building up power. The other students tried to tell All Might to stop the exercise but he was very hesitant to do so.
"Both of you, sto-!" All Might shouted but it was too late.
When Midoriya and Bakugo clashed, the green-haired boy blocked the blast with his left wrist while launching all of the power on his right hand into the air. All that force and power that went into his arm created several holes through the building. The floor Iida and Uraraka were on was separated by the blast created by Midoriya from below.
Uraraka used this opportunity to use her Quirk to carry a pillar and use it as a large bat to fling debris at Iida. He raised his arms to block the debris, which was a created an opening Urakaka needed. She jumped across the large gap and over Iida. When he looked up, he realized it was too late as Uraraka was touching the bomb.
"Hero team wins!"
"Gotta hand it to Midoriya, he can think quick and think of a plan," Kazuhiro commented. "But…"
On the screen, Midoriya and Urakaka were on the floor. Midoriya was incapacitated from using his Quirk, which broke his arm. As for Uraraka, using her quirk makes her sick. The only thing that may affect the villain team was probably Bakugo's ego, as he was left shocked by the fight.
"They lost the battle, but won the war, huh?" Tokoyami said. His hero costume consisted of a cloak.
"This is training though," Tsuyu pointed.
"I see Tokoyami's point," Kazuhiro said. "They may have won but their victory was very pricey."
"It goes to show how far they need to learn," Tokoyami said.
"I think this could be applied to all of us here," Kazuhiro said as he looked at Bakugo. He was a scary-good fighter but emotionally, he probably needs to figure himself out.
Midoriya was sent to the nurse's room to get his arm fixed up. In front of the class were Bakugo, Iida, and Uraraka. All Might was going to review the match.
Whether you win or lose looking back and learning from your experiences is a part of life," All Might said. "Well, even if I say that the MVP for this battle was young Iida!"
"It's not either of the winners, Ochako or Midoriya?" Tsuyu asked.
"Hmm, well, why is that? Does anyone know?!" All Might proclaimed.
"Yes, Mr. All Might," Yaoyorozu said as she raised her hand. "That is because Iida adapted the most to the context of the training. From watching the match, it appears Bakugou acted on his own because of a personal grudge. And as Mr. All Might said earlier it is foolish to launch a large-scale attack indoors. In the same way, taking into consideration the damage he received Midoriya's plan was also rash. As for Uraraka, she let her guard down mid-battle and her final attack was too reckless. If she treated the papier-mache as a real weapon she would not have been able to do something so dangerous."
"This is a very long, winded explanation," Kazuhiro thought. He noticed that Iida began to smile with pride.
"Iida had prepared for his opponent's arrival and assumed it would be a fight over the weapon which made him late in responding to the final attack. The hero team only won because they took advantage of the fact that this was training. They were practically breaking the rules."
"W-Well, young Iida also has parts of him that could be more relaxed, but well... that was correct!" All Might said with a thumbs up.
"We must strive to devote ourselves wholeheartedly. Otherwise, we cannot become top heroes," Yaoyorozu said. All Might approached the two boxes that are labeled as heroes and villains.
"All right everyone, let's change locations and start the second match. Tackle this training after thinking about what we just talked about.," All Might said.
"Yes sir!" everyone acknowledged. All Might pulled out the balls for Team B and I.
"Team B are the heroes Team I are the villains!" All Might announced.
Team I consisted of Mashirao Ojiro and Toru Hagekure. Ojiro wore a standard martial arts gi while Hagekure wore only gloves and boots since her Quirk needed her to be naked to allow for her invisibility to work. The two of them are currently waiting for the round to start
"Ojiro. I'm going to get serious!" Hagekure said as she took off her gloves and boots. I'll take off my gloves and boots, too!
"O-Okay," Ojiro said as he looked away nervously.
"You can't look, okay?"
"I can't see you anyway."
Team B consisted of Todoroki and Shoji. Shoji's costume was a sleeveless blue suit with a mask that covered nearly the entirety of his lower head. His suit was sleeveless because of his Quirk. He entered the building and extended his arms and tentacles. At the tip of the tentacles, an ear formed in an attempt to scout the enemies' position. After a few seconds of listening, his ear transformed into a mouth.
"One in the hall on the north side of the fourth floor. The other is somewhere on the same floor," Shoji said. "They're barefoot. The invisible one is coming to ambush and capture us, huh?"
"Go outside. It's dangerous," Todoroki said as he walked further into the building. "I'm sure our opponents intend to fight a defensive battle but that does not matter to me."
Shoji complied and exited the building as Todoroki used his Quirk to freeze the building. He managed to trap Hagekure and Ojiro with his Quirk.
In the bomb room, Ojiro tried to move to break free.
"Th-This Quirk is-!" Ojiro grunted. He noticed Todoroki entering the room and got in a stance to fight.
"You can move if you want but the skin on your feet will come off, so you won't be able to fight your best," Todoroki warned. He touched the bomb to get his team the victory.
"Hero team wins!" All Might announced through the PA. Todoroki began to use his Quirk to melt the ice around the building.
"Heat?" Ojiro muttered as he looked around.
"Sorry. The difference in our ability was too great."
Everyone back in the monitor room was amazed and terrified by Todoroki's raw power. Kazuhiro felt intimidated by him.
"W-Wow!" Sato shouted. His hero costume consisted of a yellow bodysuit that covered his entire body except the mouth, eyes, and the back of his head.
"What's up with that Quirk?" Kaminari asked.
"As expected of someone who got in through recommendations," Tsuyu said.
"All right, everyone gather around for a review of the second match. Next, we will begin the third match!"
Kazuhiro watched the next three matches, which were a lot closer in terms of skill and results. Both the hero and villain teams had areas where they could improve. This gives Kazuhiro the kind of standard expected of the Hero course. After the initial five matches, it was time for the sixth one.
"Now, as for the final round for today, it will be with Kimura and three volunteers.. One volunteer from the hero teams and a villain team," All Might said.
Hagekure raised her hand. "Put me in, teacher! I volunteer me and Ojiro!"
All Might looked at them. He knew that the two of them weren't able to properly participate in the training exercise due to the massive skill gap between them and Todoroki. Hopefully this time they can shine.
"Very well, Team I will be returning as villains," All Might said.
"Shoji, you should volunteer. You'll have a better chance to show All Might what you can do," Todoroki said to his partner. Shoji nodded.
"Any volunteers from the heroes?" All Might asked. Shoji raised his hand. All Might figured that it was going to be a repeat of round 2, but hopefully, Kazuhiro's skill gap would be lesser for Team I and Shoji when compared to Todoroki. "Shoji will be Kimura's partner for round six!"
Kimura and Shoji stood in front of a building while waiting for the enemy team to get ready. Now that it was his turn to fight, Kazuhiro summoned the Decadriver and his card.
[Kamen Ride]
"Transform," Kazuhiro said as he pushed the buckle together.
[Decade]
A mouth formed on one of Shoji's tentacles. He asked, "So what exactly can you do with this form?"
"Well, I'm physically better than I was outside of it but I don't think that's not going to cut it. I think I need to use my other cards to gain an upper hand," Decade said.
"You have other cards?"
Decade nodded, "I have other forms but I don't like to use them because they have a long recharge period. For this match, I'm willing to use a couple of them since I have to take this seriously."
"I see," Shoji said. "I can scout the enemies' location with my Quirk but I don't know if they'll be extra careful this time."
"It'll be better if we stick together. That invisible girl would be trouble if she attacks us if we're alone," Decade said.
"It's time for the final match! Let's make this an exciting one!" All Might.
Decade summoned the Ride Booker in its sword form as he and Shoji walked into the building together.

So My Hero Academia ended between this chapter and the last. I just want to say thank you to Horikoshi for working hard for the last 10 years and making a beloved series.I wish him the best of luck for what he has in the future.
I would like to apologize for skimming the Bakugo vs Izuku fight. I'm sure most of my readers have watched or read the fight and the rest of the series so there's no reason to write the chapter beat-by-beat. You can use this chapter to taste how I'll handle in-series fights as Decade spectates them.
As Kazuhiro's hero costume, he wears a jacket similar to the one Decade wore in Super Hero Taisen. The only difference is the back that features the symbols of all 23 of his current Rider cards. His utility pouches come in because it's the only thing that remains the same when he transforms. It's mainly used to carry small gadgets like a communication device or capture tape.
