Hello everybody I'm back with another exiting Chapter, Please leave a review and enjoy this new part of Adventures of the PAW Patrol
Chapter 12: A Midnight RobberyThe sun set over Adventure Bay, stores began to close and lights began to turn off. The PAW Patrol went to bed after a long day at the beach. Marshal took over Chase's job of night patrol that night. They all fell asleep with Marshal attempting to stay awake. The pups were all unaware that a certain group of criminals was out. It was a quiet night, perfect for crime.
Spot and his gang were out. Mr. Johnson was a jeweler and he was just locking up his store. Little did he know that spot and his gang were watching him from the dark alley way. He got in his car and drove home, completely oblivious to the three pairs of ghastly grins in the darkness.
"Alright, let's move," Spot whispered.
Ruben ran up and smashed the window with a hammer. Unfortunately for Mr. Johnson and fortunately for the gang the smashing of the window was not enough to set off the alarm. Spot slips in and stands up on his hinds. He wasn't very good at walking on his hinds, but he was good enough to avoided stepping on the floor lasers. He starts filling his pack with jewelry; he makes lots of trips as his pack can only hold a little bit. He would run out, dump the loot on the ground and dive back in. Butch and Ruben put the loot that spot dumped on the ground in duffle bags. The gang continued the process until they had for duffle bags full of stolen loot. Spot was filling up his pack again when he was dancing over the floor lasers on his hinds and he stepped on a shard of glass. He winced in pain and lost his balance and fell over, setting of the alarm system.
"Crap," Spot said still wincing from the pain in his paw.
"Come on Spot, we've got to get out of here." Butch yelled.
But greedy Spot had to finish filling up his pack with jewelry, costing them precious time. Meanwhile the PAW Patrol lookout has all the alarms to all the stores and banks, meaning that if an alarm system is triggered then Ryder can hear it at the lookout tower. Ryder Jumped out of bed and raced over to the control room, he called Marshal. Marshal was out on patrol trying to stay awake. The beeping of his pup tag startled him awake from a light doze.
"Marshal, I need you to investigate an active Robbery at Mr. Johnson's store, quickly," Ryder Commanded.
"Yes, some action, I'm fired up Ryder," Marshal said with excitement.
After Ryder hung up with Marshal he called Dr. Heeler to get some help from Chase.
"Hello, who is this," Heeler asked with worry. The only reason someone would call her in the middle of the night would be an emergency.
"Hi Heeler, it's Ryder, I need you to wake Chase up and ask him to check the street cams at Mr. Johnson's store, there is a break in." Ryder said.
"Right away Ryder," Heeler said.
Heeler raced to Chase's room.
"Chase, Chase, wake up, wake up now," Heeler said franticly.
"Huh, what, oh hi Dr. what's wrong," Chase asked.
"Ryder needs you to check the street cams at Mr. Johnson's store, there is a break in," Heeler said.
"Oh, okay, Chase is on the case," Chase said as he opened his police laptop.
He started sifting through the street cams until he found the one at Mr. Johnson's store. He was shocked at what he saw, the window, shattered, and two men filling duffle bags with jewelry.
"Chase two Marshal, do you read me," Chase asked over his pup tag.
"Chase, this is Marshal, I hear you loud and clear, what is it," Marshal asked.
"Two robbers outside Mr. Johnson's store," Chase said.
"Copy that Chase, I'm almost there."
Chase continued to watch the thieves when Spot jumped out. But Spot's cape got caught on the window frame and was pulled off reveling his breed.
"Marshal, Third Robber, canine, breed Dalmatian,"
"Got it," Marshal said.
The gang of criminals runs into a back alley way right as Marshal pulls up. Marshal cocks his canine revolver.
"PAW Patrol, I want you to come out with your hand in the air," Marshal warned pointing his gun towards the dark alley way.
"Marshal they're back in that alley way some were," Chase said.
"Copy that Chase, arf flood light, whoever's back here I want you to come out now." Marshal said.
Marshal looked around but the alley way was completely empty.
"Hay Chase are you sure they went back here, because there is absolutely nothing back here," Marshal said.
"What are you sure, Check the dumpster," Chase said.
"I would if there was one, but there isn't there is nothing back here, no boxes, no crates, no dumpsters, no nothing, I can pick up their sent for a little bit, but then it just vanishes."
"Gah, son of a mutt, they slipped away right under our noses," Chase said with an angry voice.
"I'm sorry Chase, I failed," Marshal said hanging his head.
"Hay now don't you dare beat yourself up Marshy, it's not your fault." Chase said.
"Okay thanks buddy, but don't call me Marshy, only Everest can call me that, it's Marshal or Marsh to you," Marshal said.
"Okay mister love bird." Chase teased.
"Hay I'm not the only love bird here," Marshal teased back.
"Alright Marsh, I guess we're done here, I'll get out there as soon as I can to investigate properly, good night Marshal." Chase said.
"Good night Chase," Marshal said with a sigh.
Chase shut his laptop, he was angry that the thieves got away, but an officer never gives up. He was determined to find those thieves, even if it took him a life time he would find them. Chase and Marshal went to sleep that night with the lingering question in their minds, where did those criminals go and where will they strike next.
Now where did that gang go, it's like they just disappeared, well until next time on Adventures of the PAW Patrol.
Note: School is now starting so I might slow down on my writing, but I will try my best to get a chapter out every week.
