Chapter 16-Preparing for a fight, Narutos annoyance
Once Minato finished his ending speech, the first round of chunin exams fights were posted, and Naruto found he was to be Fighting Gaara. Then the assembled genin were left to go their separate ways, which was where Naruto then, joined up with his girlfriends and headed for the hotsprings for a much needed soak in the girls even invited: several of females from the other villages and headed for the female side of the springs.
On the males side of the springs, Naruto dropped in the hot water with a, 'plop,' noise, soon he was joined by 2 other men whom enjoyed the scented hot water and midway through his soak, Naruto began to nap sitting up. Not 2 minutes after he closed his eyes, was awoken by the sounds of: Giggling, and not the comedic kind, as well as the sound of scribbling being made on paper.
Turning to the sounds, Naruto discovered it was his Godfather: Jiraiya, looking into the females section of the hot springs, via a knot sized hole in the fence and then sighed, 'Seriously Pervy Sage, you know the old man won't help you now?' he thinks, as he got out the water and moved towards the man. Once Naruto was behind the idiot, he reached out and retrieved the man by his collar, before proceeding to drag him screaming his head off and attempting to overpower Naruto, but with Narutos Overlord strength and durability it was doing nothing.
Out at the front desk, the female receptionist spied a patron heading towards her with an older man been dragged behind him. Once in front of the desk, Naruto dropped the man in front of her to show whom it was, with a look saying, 'I think you know whom this is and what he was doing?' seeing the girl nod, before she reached under her desk and then after pickpocketing rope from Jiraiya, Naruto then bounded the man in such a way that he couldn't use the escape jutsu.
After that job was done, also knowing that he won't get any more relaxation in, Naruto headed back to the locker room and got changed back into him ninja clothes, before heading home to draw up a training schedule for the final rounds of the Chunin Exams. As he left, Naruto was keenly aware of the presents of several individuals up on the roof tops, having noticed their presents from the when he entered the hot springs.
Up on the roof tops, the group of blank masked ninjas, that was watching Naruto had not yet realized they were compromised silently leaped after Naruto, as their target began leaped into the air and surfing through the sky atop of a cloud with the jutsu: 'Jetto kiryū no keiro,' towards the Namikaze training fields. Travelling at a speed that could be spotted at a glance, Naruto summoned a shadow clone to blitz ahead, while the original doubled back invisibly.
Ahead of the Naruto clone, Kushina was in her husband's training grounds, refining her control over her Chakra Chains and combining them with her Fuinjutsu, when her son a landed infront of her, but before she could greet her son, he puffed out in a cloud of steam, as Danzo's Root ANBU forces finally stopped and as they only spotted Kushina, they proceeded to demand, "Alright witch, where is the Kyuubi Jinchūriki?" in a voice devoid of emotion. Angered by the threat to her son, and the disrespect Kushina launched several chains and captured the group, before saying s she entered her Red Death persona, "Who are you to command me and THREATEN MY CHILD?" while dragging them closer to her, dissatisfied at them for not shaking like a leaf in a hurricane.
After a bit, the real Naruto appeared with 2 of the 4 Root members, that evaded Kushina's chains with his hand around their throat, before he delivered them to his mother. Snagging them with her chains, Kushina then drags them off to her husband's office and Naruto after saying, "bye mom," to Kushina, he retreated to his family library.
(Final note: Sorry for the short chapter, I am having trouble with my muse for this story, and I am starting to think of abandoning it.)
