Luz got up from the ground, the sound of the broken containment unit was deafening. Luz saw that Amity was gone now.
Luz went upstairs to confront Garraka turning on her upgraded proton pack, everyone upstairs was now frozen except for Steve who was questioning what to do in this situation.
Garraka was standing there looking victorious until Luz aimed her proton stream right at the ice monster, Garraka immediately felt weakened by the green stream of lightning and tried to charge at Luz only for her to fire her proton pack again.
Garraka used his frost breath and Luz felt herself begin to freeze, the stream stopped and the proton pack shut down as Luz began to freeze in place.
She felt terrified as all the heat in her body turned cold and her blood froze. Garraka now reached towards Luz with his bony hands and began to rip Luz's spirit out of her body.
Suddenly the sound of a match being lit up filled the room and Garraka stopped and looked around to see Amity now holding a lit match in her hand.
Steve used the fire on the match to make a fireball in his hands and shot it at the ice demon, the fire hitting Garraka was enough to warm up the whole room and unfreeze everyone who was frozen.
Almost immediately Luz shot the proton stream again at Garraka, he tried to block this attack with his hands but Steve shot a stream of fire at Garraka, weakening the ice demon.
Luz was having trouble holding up the barrel of the Neutrona Wand until Camila and Hunter helped her steady the stream and eventually Vee, Masha, and Willow helped too.
"We're pinning him, we can trap him now!" Darius yelled, Gus and King went into the Ecto-1 to deploy the drone trap and capture the ice demon.
Unfortunately the drone trap wasn't enough to trap the ice demon and he swatted the drone away and it broke on the ground.
But then Lilith had an idea as soon as she saw that the containment unit was empty. "Garraka has let all the ghosts out, we can use the containment unit as a giant trap!" Lilith explained
Eda, Darius, and Raine nodded in agreement as they ran down to the containment unit, Lilith was explaining how they could reverse the containment unit but she was cut off by Eda yelling at her, "JUST DO IT!" Eda exclaimed.
Lilith pressed the buttons on the containment unit in reverse order and began to pull the lever. Eda, Darius, and Raine all helped in pulling the lever down as icicles began shooting out, nearly hitting their faces.
The lever finally went down as electricity flew around and the polarity of the containment unit reversed.
Garraka began to get dragged into the containment unit, his horns ripping off his head as he struggled to get out of the polarity.
Garraka tried to get out of the containment unit but it sealed itself and two of his nails got torn off.
"When the light is green…" Raine exclaimed, "The whole world is clean," Eda said, completing her partner's sentence.
Luz was happy that they finally defeated Garraka but she wasn't celebrating just yet as she saw Amity, Luz saw that she was disappearing and she knew that Amity had completed her unfinished business.
"You were right," Amity said smiling.
Luz was smiling as well, "I forgive you Amity, I'm gonna miss you sweet potato," Luz said.
Amity was heart warmed at the affectionate nickname that Luz gave her, "I'm gonna miss you too Luz," Amity said as she came closer to her.
Luz leaned in and gave Amity a kiss, "I'll see you again, Batata" Amity said as she disappeared into ghostly particles.
Luz teared up a bit but she knew Amity was going to have a better life now that she redeemed herself.
"So you had a girlfriend?" Hunter teased Luz, "Ummm yeah I guess?" Luz said while blushing.
"Aww Mija it's alright you can find another love," Camila reassured her daughter.
"Thanks Mom," Luz said as she hugged her mother.
Outside the firehouse a whole crowd of people were cheering on the Ghostbusters, they had saved the city once again.
Everyone waved to the crowd until the mayor came by, "You have done it, Citywide devastation, I'm putting you guys away for a long time," Mayor Bump said angrily
"Bump you clown you're never gonna get it are you?" Lilith said to the mayor.
The mayor clearly didn't want to deal with any of them now but the reporters came in, "Mr. Mayor, what do you have to say to the Ghostbusters?" One of them asked.
The mayor stuttered for a bit and someone even yelled "How about you thank them, Big Head!" at him.
"It sounds like we have your undivided support!" Camila said, "Uhh yes of course!" The mayor said while being nervous.
"I'm so happy to hear that Mr. Mayor because without Luz and our family, this whole city would be under 3 ft of ice," Eda chimed in and everyone cheered.
"New York is experiencing unusual paranormal activity and we are here to answer that call because we are the Ghostbusters!" Eda yelled as the whole crowd began to cheer.
Everyone was getting interviewed on how they stopped the ice storm, until a green ghost flew by being chased by the ghost dragon Luz had caught before.
"Hey uh guys put on your packs!" Camila said.
"Alright Mom!" Luz exclaimed as they ran inside and hopped in the Ecto-1.
Camila let Hunter be the driver after all he had a driving permit from completing the test.
Luz and her family drove off to capture the ghosts that had been let out and to keep New York safe again.
