4. It's Over

Hey guys, RRD here. I have some unfortunate news regarding the state of this fanfic as well as its sequel. If you recall, the original stories were created by Mr. Bda241. A couple of years ago, I had a goal where I would remake them that is set during the time of the show. It had similarities to the original story, but with several differences. I had encouragement and ideas from others on making this.

Key reminder that I said couple years ago. Here we are in late 2024, where the fanfic STILL only has 3 chapters. Why is that? It's simple, I'm cancelling the fanfic remakes. This is sad to hear, I know, but it is for the best. And there are a couple reasons. Lack of motivation and resources.

Don't get me wrong, this was fun to try writing this story in a way that is more connected to the show, but I haven't had the time, let alone the enjoyment I had from years ago. I ended up watching better media such as The Owl House, Amphibia, Molly McGee, Hailey's on It, Hilda, too many to count, not to mention I have been branching out and socializing with friends while exploring my home. I was caught up writing the story for Loud House and doing my classes that I completely forgot about Gumball. And even with those finished, I just don't want to devote my time to the Gumball story anymore. And even if I did, that brings up my next problem.

The original versions of Misunderstood and Family Issues are gone. Not invisible, just straight up GONE. I'm serious. And even when it looks like people can access them, only the first chapter can be seen. After that, it is endless loading. The next chapters can't be accessed, and neither can the reviews. I have yet to receive an answer from the original author about why this happened.

In terms of revisiting, we can't revisit these stories. I liked them. So how will we get the remakes completed? The answer is clear. We don't. We are screwed. Now would probably be a good time to move on from Misunderstood and Family Issues. I know, I ended up letting myself down for not resuming the remakes, and I apologize for letting the rest of you down on this same reason. This is RRD, out.
