Location: Lastation
The trip to Lastation was both quick and thankfully uneventful for the two makers, two familiars and the CPU
Of course not everything that is uneventful is bound to stay that way for long, especially since Magi remembers something about her master
"Shit" she hissed softly when she remembers this particular piece of information
"Something the matter?" Brin asks her fellow familiar with a raised eyebrow
Magi looks at Brin "we're in Lastation, the tech paradise for people who loves technology" she says and points to the Lilac haired girl walking behind them
The lilac haired girl in question is slowly, slowing down and from the looks of it she's muttering something under her breath
The pair of familiars slowed down to match Nepgear's walking speed
Neither of them needed to try too hard to hear what the girl is muttering to herself "do not go shopping, do not go shopping, do not go shopping, do not go shopping, do not go shopping…"
They could tell she was about to break
And sure enough "I cant!" she couldn't resist the temptation of the technology, regardless of how "retro" they are to her
Magi and Brin had grabbed one of Nepgear's arms each and started to drag her with them
And Nepgear in a typical Neptune fashion started to throw a fuss, "NOOOOO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO!"
To IF and Compa Nepgear was pulling a Neptune again but the scene occurring in front of them was eerily familiar
FLASHBACK
IF, Compa and Neptune are returning home to the Basilicom after a grocery shopping trip
On this day the trio were taking the faster path that IF and Compa normally take to get to the Basilicom
Only Neptune stops on her tracks for seemingly no reason
Curious as to why the CPU stopped the pair of makers backtracked to Neptune only to see the newly opened pudding shop
The pair of makers shared a look and just as Neptune was about to dash into the pudding shop they each grabbed one of her arms and started dragging her back to the Basilicom
Neptune being Neptune decided that now was a great time to start throwing a fuss, "NOOOOO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO! LEMMEGO!"
That day ended with Nepgear and Compa having to make some homemade pudding for Neptune to get her to stop sulking
The pair of makers shared a smile and made their way to the Lastation Guild while making it seem like they didn't know the trio that was getting way too much attention in their opinion
Location: Lastation Guild
People come and go from the Guild hence its no surprise that Uni has run into assortments of people during her trips to take quests or turn in completed quests
She will however admit silently to herself that this is the first time she saw this specific lilac haired girl grumbling about something on her way to the reception desk of the guild
The girl looked around her age, at least her physical age, 'she's probably here to ask about the whereabouts of a family member' she thought as she made her way to the reception desk
"Excuse me, i'd like to see what quests are available" they both said at the same time
"Hey, are you here to do quests too?", Uni was surprised by what she just heard that she had to ask that to confirm if she just heard correctly
"Hmm?, oh, yeah, that is the correct" the girl says with a dismissive tone
"Are you sure about this? I mean, you're just a kid" Uni says with a hint of concern for the other girl
"Takes one to know one, you're not that much older than i am" only for said girl to send it back at her without missing a beat with slight amusement in her voice
"Oh? I'm an exceptional exception, you have no idea just how strong I am, but I have to get even stronger if I want to be able to…" Uni was saying before she cuts herself off abruptly
"Hmm?" the Lilac haired girl hummed and gave her a look with a raised eyebrow
Uni shakes her head, "its nothing, anyways, why're you looking to do quests anyways"
"To help the people get shares back for the CPUs"
"Wow, aren't you serious? The way you said that makes you sound like a goodie two shoes honour student" Uni said mockingly before she got a bit more serious, "although i have to question your genuinity about what you said"
"Huh?" the lilac haired girl looked at her confused
"You were grumbling earlier and you looked like this was the last place that you wanted to be at"
"Oh, that…"
"Yes, that"
"I wasn't grumbling about being brought here to do quests" the girl says "I was grumbling about being denied my shopping trip and being dragged here kicking and screaming…" and she finishes dryly
The girl blinks and looks at Uni, "wait, are you telling me that you didn't hear me screaming "Lemme go" at the top of my lungs repeatedly for the last" she checks her N-gear for the time, "45 minutes"
Uni looks at the lilac haired girl in front of her in sheer astonishment because that was just…"pfft"
She really couldn't keep a serious face when she hear that nor could she stop the giggles slipping out, it helped that the other girl joined her in her giggling fit
Their giggling fit definitely cleared any serious air around the pair of them
"Anyways, my name is Uni" Uni offers to shake the other girl's hand
"Nepgear, it's nice to meet you Uni" Nepgear shakes her hand
"Well Nepgear, since we now know each other, do you want to team up and do the quest together?" Uni asks
Nepgear smiles, "sure, sounds like fun, I'll go let the others know"
"Okay" Uni says and follows after the other girl
