Avenging Angel
Chapter 10
"Don't fight over me ladies. There is enough to go around. Besides we have so much time to play together."
Angela was still reeling from the last punch to the face. She could hardly think straight. But she had to get it together, so that they could escape. Elijah started stalking around her in circles and it was nerve wracking. She had no idea what his plan was past getting revenge. She wasn't entirely sure that he knew what he wanted to do. She just knew it would hurt like hell.
"Angela. Angela. Angela. You have put up such a good fight. Too bad i am 5 steps ahead of you."
Angela didn't respond. She didn't want to appear weak, but she wasn't ready to take another blow to the face. She just watched him as he stalked around her like she was prey. Lucy didn't make a move either fearing that Angela would suffer the repercussions. She knew how big of a grudge this man held and wasn't entirely sure what he was capable of. She had witnessed his destruction in the gang wars and decided he was too much of a wild card. She was hoping he would leave soon. She and Lopez needed to come up with a strategy.
"What are we going to do with you?", he exaggerated every word menicingly.
Elijah understood that she was not going to respond to him. This infuriated him further. He swung his fist at her face again, colliding with her cheek bone. He pulled his hand back and feighned hurt.
"See Angela. You've hurt me. I hope you know that paybacks a bitch."
He swung again but this time he hit her in the stomach and she doubled over. Lucy screamed again and started angrily trying to disconnect her restraints from the shelf. Her escape attempt sounded like a blender full of nails. This just aggravated Elijah more. He left Angela and proceeded to make his way to Lucy.
"If you could refrain, from making such horrendous noise, I would very much appreciate it. Tell you what. If you stop, I will give your little friend here a break. I am beginning to get a little parched anyway.", he said kneeling down near her head.
As soon as Lucy stopped shaking her restraints, Elijah stood up and walked out of the room.
