FILE 13 - Let's Go Catch a Cat, Part 1

Previously on FILE 12, after school, she noticed Mariah with Tsuki talking.

"Hey!" Aiya spoke up, trying to catch the attention of Miss Tsuki and Mariah.

"Oh hey!" Tsuki looked at Aiya and waved back. "Aren't you Mariah's friend?"

"Mom!" Mariah spoke up. "She's not my friend!"

Aiya chuckled. "Just not yet."

"Wait…" Aiya pondered. "You're her mom?"

"Ugh." Mariah facepalmed herself. "This is why I told you we talk at home, not at school."

Aiya chuckled before asking another question, "So… What are you doing here?"

"You see, dear." Tsuki spoke up, her eyes looked like they were about to cry. "My daughter has lost her kitten."

"How terrible!" Aiya said. "I can help you!" She looked at Mariah

"Thank you dear, but…" Tsuki continued, "We already have help from a person online. Someone named Black_Love21, I think it was?"

"Yep." Mariah added as she crossed her arms. "No need for your help."

Aiya smirked and pulled out her phone, showing them her profile. "Actually, I'm that person."

Mariah's eyes widened in surprise. "WHAT?!"

"Oh my!" Tsuki widened her eyes as well, her tears seemed to be vanishing. "Well, if that isn't a twist of fate!"

Aiya smirked. "Guess I was meant to help everyone after all."

Mariah groaned in annoyance. "Mom, can we really trust her?"

"I don't see why not dear." Tsuki replied. "After all, she did make friends with Tetsu."

"But Mom, she released Bloodhound!" Mariah protested Aiya's help.

"Oh my!" Tsuki's confusion is visible. "But then, it must have been an accident."

"Look!" Aiya tried to defend herself "I was curious okay?!"

"But I really wanna find your kitten." Aiya added, with a genuine tone in her voice. "After all, it's what makes you smile right?"

Tsuki nodded, looking between her daughter and Aiya. "Well, we could always use some help, don't we dear?"

"Ugh!" Mariah groaned. Her mom is way too easy going to let others help. She reluctantly agreed. "Fine, but no more accidents!"

Aiya grinned and held out her pinkie. "Sure, pinky promise?"

Mariah hesitated, before hooking her pinky with Aiya's. "Ugh. Pinky promise."

"Now the thing is…" Aiya said with uncertainty. "How are we gonna find it? None of our Stands can find a missing cat that easily."

"Speaking of which," Tsuki interrupted the conversation. "I know one Stand User that can help you both more easily."

"Or two." She added. "Although I don't know if she's really a Stand User."

"Who?" Aiya interjected as she wondered who the Stand Users are.

"Mom, please no…" Mariah protested. "Having Aiya bothering me is enough… Don't add her!"

"Come on dear, Ryoko is not that bad…" Tsuki replied with a chuckle. "She's just too talkative."

"Now then, Aiya," Tsuki looked at Aiya. "Meet us at Blackpink Ice Cream, or really any location that you want us to meet."

"Why there to be specific?" Aiya asked.

"Well, my daughter wanted to get ice cream soo…" Tsuki replied only to be cut off by Mariah's loud protest "MOM!"

"Alright alright." Her mom walked away with Mariah to their car, laughing softly. "Well then, see you there soon, Aiya."

As they left, Aiya chuckled to herself. "Well, this is gonna be interesting."

Aiya went home. Her dad greeted her.

"How was school today, dear?"

"It was fine, Dad." She replied.

She then went upstairs to her room, before taking out her phone to text her group chat, which included Lobo, Tetsu, Kuro, and Furui.

Aiya (Black_Love21): Hey, you guys.

Tetsu (IronPrincess30): Hey.

Aiya chuckled, knowing that Tetsu was always the first to respond.

Aiya (Black_Love21): Do you guys know who can help me find a missing cat?

Tetsu (IronPrincess30): No, I don't think I know anyone.

Furui (FossilDyno304): I think I know someone…

Aiya (Black_Love21): Really?

Furui (FossilDyno304): Yeah… But be aware, he's a bit… doo doo in the head.

Aiya (Black_Love21): Come on, Furui. Just tell me who he is.

Furui (FossilDyno304): Meet me at the ice cream shop at 3 PM.

Aiya (Black_Love21): Roger that.

She set her alarm clock for 2:45 PM, just to make sure she wouldn't be late.

After napping for a while, she woke up, before getting dressed in a casual white shirt along with black jeans.

2:50 PM, Blackpink Ice Cream Store

Aiya entered the ice cream store. The bell rang to welcome her.

As Aiya continued to walk, she saw a person talking with Furui.

"Oh hey!" Furui saw her and invited her to sit alongside him.

After she sat down, he introduced his friend to Aiya. "Aiya, this is Shiro Mitaka. Shiro Mitaka, this is Aiya Aizawa."

"I see." Shiro looked around Aiya. "Is this the Stand User that you were talking about?"

"Yep." Furui replied as he got up and walked away. "So then, have fun you two."

"Let's see, you are missing a cat, yes?" He asked.

"Yes, I am," Aiya replied, her worry evident in her eyes. "It's my friend's cat. We've been looking everywhere."

Shiro nodded thoughtfully. "Alright, first things first. Cats are creatures of habit and territory. They tend not to stray too far from familiar surroundings unless they're scared or curious."

Aiya leaned in, eager to hear more. However, when she did, she suddenly heard the bell of the ice cream store, indicating new customers.

"Ah, welcome." Furui welcomed the customers while Aiya took a sneak peek. It was Mariah and Miss Tsuki along with a female student.

"You there?" Shiro tried to snap back Aiya to reality.

"Oh, sorry!" Aiya replied.

Aiya's voice caught the attention of Mariah and Tsuki.

"Oh hey dear-" Tsuki attempted to greet her, but the girl interrupted her.

"Hi there, Aiya!" The girl said, his face bright with enthusiasm. "I've heard a lot about you! Despite being new, you're already quite the topic around school and a conversation starter!"

"What?" Aiya is confused as she tries to catch up to the girl speaking.

Tsuki chuckled and added, "Ryoko loves to keep up with school news. He might be exaggerating a bit."

Aiya laughed nervously, slightly embarrassed. "Oh, I didn't realize I was making waves. Nice to meet you, Ryoko."

"Ugh, Mom, why did you have to ask for her help?!" Mariah groaned. "She's annoying!"

"Now now dear." Tsuki said. "You know how useful her Stand is."

"She's a Stand user-" Aiya asked as she looked at Tsuki.

"Yep." Before Aiya could finish her sentence, Ryoko interrupted it with her answer. "It's called Voyager! Because it'll finish anything before you can blink!"

Aiya looked at Ryoko, with a bit of skepticism. "Voyager huh? Seems like you got some speed on you…"

Ryoko gave a confident grin. "You bet! Just don't blink, or you might miss it!"

Tsuki gave Aiya a reassuring look. "Ryoko's enthusiasm is as boundless as her Stand's speed. She's just passionate about his abilities."

Shiro sighed as he looked at Mariah. "Now then, I presume that you are Aiya's friend and the owner of the missing cat?"

"She's not my friend!" Mariah angrily replied.

"Dear… Please be gentle." Tsuki said before stepping out. "Remember, I'll pick you up at 5."

Mariah reluctantly sat down at the table as Ryoko sat alongside her.

"Now then, tell us about your cat." Shiro said as he looked at Mariah.

"It's got white fur, and translucent blue eyes." Mariah said.

"Wait, that does sound like the cat that I encountered previously!" Ryoko said before taking out a piece of white fur.

"Well, that was fast…" Shiro said with skepticism.

"Leave it to me!" Suddenly, as soon as Ryoko said that, a Stand appeared. A robotic humanoid with flashlight eyes. "My Stand, Voyager, is a Stand with fast speed and is able to search for anything!"

"Voyager!" She said, with the Stand's eyes lighting up. "Search this for me!" She gave the fur to the Stand.

It surrounds itself with an electricity aura, before speeding up and crashing into the store, leaving a hole in it. It then scans the area and quickly runs toward a direction.

Shiro, Mariah, Aiya and Ryoko ran outside to follow Voyager.

"HEY!" Furui looked at Voyager. "You'll need to pay, you know…"

"SORRY!" Ryoko said before swiftly running with Aiya and Shiro.

Ability - Voyager is able to manipulate bio-electricity within itself or its user to speed up reflexes.

Will Voyager find the cat?! What will Aiya and her new friends find with Voyager?

Author Note: Sorry for the long wait, but the new mini arc of finding a lost cat is finally here. I will be having less time now due to needing to engage in summer school and importing my story to AO3.
