F3: Welcome to chapter 8 of my Hyperdimension Neptunia fic. We last left off where Noire, Uni, and Vert had got information from Rei and are now returning to their respective nations. Meanwhile Histoire is getting a different body. I do not own Neptunia.
Chapter 8: Friends.
IF and her father were on their way back home from the basilicom but not before stopping by a resteraunt to eat. The two of them sat at a table across from each other while they ordered their lunch as the waiter gave them their drinks first.
"So dear how has work been treating you. I hope that the guild hasn't been running you ragged." Kaito asked.
IF shook her head "Nah. The work load hasn't been that bad lately plus other members have helped lessen the load." IF replied as she took a sip of her drink.
"That's good to hear. At least it's good to know that you're not the only one pulling the load." Kaito said as he smiled at his daughter.
The waiter eventually came with their orders as the two dug into their meals. However IF recalled something that made her stop a moment.
"Oh shoot. I completely forgot." IF replied.
This made Kaito stop eating a moment "What is it dear?" He asked.
"My new friend I made I accidently left her behind when I came to get you. Hopefully she won't get mad at me." IF said.
"Oh you made a new friend." Kaito said as IF nodded.
"Yeah. Her names Croire. A little shorter than me but I think she's older than me though." IF replied.
"Hm... then perhaps we should finish and go find her then." Kaito stated.
However just outside the resteraunt a small portal opened and out of it steps Croire who was stretching looking before noticing her friend inside the resteraunt.
"Ah ha there you are. Took me a minute to find you but turns out you weren't that far away." She said but then she noticed the man that was with IF and she gave a scowl.
"You. The one that stole fathers project. I'll get to him later right now I need to talk with IF." Croire said as she messaged IF.
She saw through the window as IF reached into her pocket to her phone to check the text message. IF turned her head as saw Croire outside standing their as she waved at her. Then she gestured her to come inside as she did just that heading inside the resteraunt.
"There you are I was wondering where you've run off too. Kinda left me hanging at your house you know." Croire said.
"Sorry about that." IF replied.
"So is this your friend dear." Kaito replied.
"Yeah. Croire met my dad Kaito. He works at Lowee's basilicom but mostly in the health department." IF introduced.
"Charmed to me you Croire." Kaito said as he went to shake her hand as Croire shook it gently.
"Nice to meet you too. So IF you got any plans for today. I know you've got to be tired from doing all the guild work." Croire asked.
"Well... there is someone I want to check on and see how they are doing." IF said.
"Oh and who would that be?" Her father asked.
"An old woman just ouside of Lowee. I helped her with some of tasks at her house so I was going to see if she's going to need help again." IF mentioned.
"That's quite considerate of you IF. Always wanting to help someone out when they needed it." Her fauther added ruffling her hair a bit.
"D-Dad!" She said a small blush on her face.
"But you can't do anything on an empty stomach. Croire why don't you join us?" Kaito asked.
"Sure why not." Croire said as she sat down next to IF as she ordered her food to eat.
After a while the three had finished their meals with all of them having full bellies in their stomachs.
"Wow. I don't think I can eat another bite. That's some good food." Croire stated.
"Well Lowee is known for their lavish foods which is kinda why we chose this place to eat. It's always been a favorite of mine." IF replied.
"Yes indeed." Kaito added as the three left the resteraunt.
"I can't keep you from your job so just be care okay." Kaito replied.
"I will dad. Better get going and head over there. See yah at home." IF said as she mounted her bike and sped off toward her destination. Croire watched her speed off as she had a plan to inact.
"I better go to. See yah around sir." Croire stated as she left the resteraunt but when she turned the corner she open a portal to what appeared to be Lastation as she stepped through it ready to inact her first plan.

Meanwhile in Planeptune Noire and Uni had arrived as they entered through the window in the tower. They deactivated their HDD and landed on the floor safely.
"You think Neptune and Nepgear could help?" Uni asked.
"Well we have to tell what we know from Rei Ryghts. Hopefully they've figured out something." Noire replied as they went to find the two. However they didn't have to look far as they heard some laughter coming from the front room.
They entered and saw that both CPU's were sitting down and enjoying a movie feeding themselves on popcorn and other snacks.
"What is going on here!?" Noire shouted getting their attention.
"Oh uh hey Noire we were just... you know... watching a movie." Neptune said nervously.
"Seriously! Me, sis and Vert have been doing the grunt work while you have been sitting here watching movies!" Noire replied very upset.
"Whoa whoa! Hold on a minute! That isn't true! We are actually waiting on something to finish. Speaking of which should we go check sis." Neptune added.
"Right. It should be done by now." Nepgear said.
The two sisters looked at each other before looking back to the others.
"What are you talking about Nepgear?" Uni asked.
"You'll see." Nepgear said keeping it a surprise as they followed the two toward Nepgears lab.
She entered a combination into the keypad before it beeped and allowed them inside. Immediately Noire and Uni noticed Histoire was plugged into a body of a girl.
"What is this? Some new project? And why is Histoire plugged into it?" Noire asked.
"Well it was suppose to be a new android that is to help with multiple tasks but I had to use for something else. Histoire got too overheated and her cooling system wasn't functioning so I decided to transfer her data along with everything else into this new body for her." Nepgear explained as she saw the progress bar was nearly finished.
"Alright just any moment now." Nepgear said.
"Oh she is going to flip when she sees her new body." Neptune said as Noire and Uni waited.
The progress bar finished "Installastion complete. Beginning activation." The computer stated.
They noticed that the eyes started to flutter open slowly revealing bright blue eyes. Histoire carefully leaned upward as she tried to get her barings.
"Heya Histy! How yah feeling?" Neptunes voice rang out as she looked to her left.
"Neptune do you have to be so loud all the time." Historie said but she noticed that her voice wasn't as low like how it used to be. In fact it sounded more like a teenage girl.
"Histoire how do you feel? Everything okay?" Nepgear questioned.
Histoire got a better look at herself and notice some very obvious changes. For one she wasn't sitting on her tome like she used to infact she felt taller for some reason. She most certainly noticed that her chest was bigger than she was used to.
"Nepgear... what happened and why do I look like this?" Histoire asked.
"Well... how do I say this? You're old body got overheated to the point that I couldn't repair it. So I transfered that data from you old body into this new one along with everything else." Nepgear replied.
Histoire didn't know what she meant but she noticed the cord was still connect to her chest as she followed it and saw it was connected to her old body. Looking at it she wondered why she was so small. Histoire disconnected the cord as she started to try and stand up.
However it was a little wobbly at first as Neptune caught her from falling.
"Careful Histy. That first step is a doozy." Neptune said helping Histy stand to her full height.
"Everything okay? Nothing out of place?" Nepgear asked.
Histoire checked herself over making sure this new body was working properly and she was quite happy with the results.
"Yes I believe everything is in order." Histoire replied.
"Great! I'm glad!" Nepgear said happily.
"Um... excuse me. Sorry to interrupt all this but we do have some information that might be useful here." Noire replied.
"Our apologies Noire. Please do share with us what you have gathered." Histoire stated.
Noire and Uni stared to tell them what they had gathered telling them about Rei and what she had told them.
"I see... so out of spite she along with her husband joined Dexter and his other scientist in order to create this anti CPU." Histoire replied.
"Yeah. But they realized what they were getting into and decided to separate while the husband took the creation somewhere more than likely to raise it on his own." Noire replied.
"Man that is all kinds of messed up! Is their a way to like track it?" Neptune asked.
"A friend of mine, Fuuki, is working on that right now. After all she is the one that found Rei woman in the first place." Noire replied.
"Then maybe we can go back their and ask her more about what happened." Nepgear said.
Uni shook her head "Sorry Nepgear but Rei wanted absolute privacy and that's what we promised to give her." Uni added.
"I understand." Nepgear nodded.
"So what do we do now. If this anti CPU or whatever is still out their then we need to go looking for it." Neptune replied.
"From what Fuuki told me the energy reading is still rather weak to track any signal of any other share energy." Noire added.
"Then perhaps I could be of assistance. If you can contact Fuuki then I should be able to uplink into her computer and then we can both narrow the search." Histoire stated.
"That might work. Though I'll contact..." Noire started but just then her phone started ringing as she noticed that it was Fuuki calling her as she answered.
"Oh hey Fuuki we were just..." Noire started but Fuuki cut her off.
"No time! Monsters are attacking Lastation!" Fuuki shouted as Noires eyes widen.
"Wait! What!? That's impossible! How they get inside the city!?" Noire added completely shocked.
"I don't know but you need to get your butt over here right now! Sonya is already in route." Fuuki stated.
"I'll be their at once. Just hang tight." Noire said as she hung up.
"Uni we gotta move. Lastation is under attack." Noire stated as Uni nodded.
"Wait we'll come too. The more of us the better." Nepgear said.
"We're probably going to need it." Noire said as she and Uni transformed into their HDD forms as did Neptune and Nepgear.
For Nepgear her hair becomes longer and pink with a hair clip that is white and blue. Her eyes are now a dodger blue as she wears now a white skintight body suit with light purple designs and light purples N's on the backhand part of her gloves with match thigh high boots. She is CPU Purple Sister.
"We best not waist any time then." Purple Heart said her voice sounding more calm and serious.
"Let's hurry." Purple Sister added as the four of them flew off from the tower flying as fast as they could to Lastation as Histoire looked on.

It wasn't long till IF was finished with her duties their at the older womans house as she helped gathered what vegetables that grew their as she had them loaded into a basket.
"And that's all of them." IF said wiping a sweat from her brow.
"Thank you very much young one. It would've taken my all day just to pick them." The older woman replied.
"Oh it was nothing really. I did say I would stop by every now and then." IF said placing the basket of vegetables inside on the table.
"There we go. Can you handle sorting them out?" IF asked.
"I can handle it just fine dearie." The older woman said.
"Okay. But let me know if your going to take them out of the market then I can haul them for you." IF stated.
"I'll do that. And here's a little gift for your troubles." The older woman said as she handed her five hundred zenny.
"Ma'am I couldn't take your money. You need it more than I do." IF said trying to convince her but the older woman held firm.
"Nonsense. I no longer am in need of money so it is best that I give rather than keep it for myself. Besides I wouldn't know what to do with it. I'm sure you can find some use for it." She said.
IF sighed and knew she was in a losing battle so reluctently she took the money.
"I'll make sure to use it for something. Thank you ma'am." IF thanked.
"Oh it was nothing. Now you should run along now. Can't keep you from your job." The older woman said as IF exited the house and headed toward her bike.
However just as she was about to leave her phone rang as she noticed that it was Neptune calling her.
"Hey Nep. Everything alright?" IF asked.
"Iffy I need you to get to Lastation quickly. We have monsters attacking the city." Neptune said but she could tell that she was in her HDD because of her voice sounding more serious.
"Monsters in Lastation! How? I thought they have an airtight security around the place." IF said.
"I'm not sure how but we could use all the help we can get right now." Purple Heart stated.
"Alright I'll be right their. Give me five minutes." IF said as she hung up and quickly started her bike and hammered the throttle as the bike zoomed off heading straight toward Lastation.
Meanwhile Uni and Nepgear were blasting monsters from afar allowing their sisters to get into close to the other monsters to kill them.
"Lacey Dance!" Black Heart declared slashing away monsters that stood in her way.
"Cross Combination!" Purple Heart declared cutting a monster in front of her as it disapated into pixels but only to replace it by another monster.
"There's so many of them. Where did they all come from?" Purple Heart asked slashing away another monster.
"I'm not sure but we need to find the source and take care of it." Black Heart said as Uni and Nepgear were dealing with some of the aerial monsters as more of them were gathering trying to surround them.
"Lightning Javilen!" A female voice came from below as bolts of lightning came down and struck down the monsters surrounding them.
Black Heart looked down and saw that it was Sonya looking at them.
"Sonya!" Black Heart called out as they floated down to her.
"Status update." She said.
"Fuuki had just located the source of the monsters. It's some kind of spawner that's summoning them." Sonya replied.
"Just great. That can never be good. Where is it exactly?" Purple Heart asked.
"It's in the business district. Though it's going to be hard to get to." Sonya replied.
"Well if we're going to safe Lastation we'll have to go." Black Heart said before turning to Uni and Nepgear.
"Uni, Nepgear. I need you two to provide cover fire for us while we make a break for the business district. Sonya you're with us we're going to need your help." Black Heart said.
"Got it. Good luck you three." Uni said.
"And be careful." Nepgear said as they headed off toward the business district.
Uni and Nepgear turned to the monsters that were circling them as they readied themselves.
"Here we go. Ready?" Uni asked as Nepgear nodded as they both charged at the monsters to buy their sisters some time.
Meanwhile IF had just arrive at the other end of Lastation and immediately killed the first monster that came at her shooting her gun at the beast. She kept firing until her clip went empty. It was absolute chaos business district as she tried to clear out the monsters that were their but there's too many of them for her to handle on her own.
She heard a cry as she saw a young boy about to be attacked by a Green Turtle monster. She turned her bike toward the monster and just before she hit it she jumped off her bike allowing it to crash into the monster, she was certainly going to need a new one after this but for now the monster was stunned as she charged at it as her katars lit up with fire.
"Demon Soul Slash!" IF shouted slicing the monster into piece while burning it at that same time killing the monster.
Once the monster was dead she turned back to the boy and knelt down to him.
"Are you alright?" IF asked calmly. The boy only nodded.
"My boy!" A mothers voice said coming toward the young boy and scooped him up in her arms.
"Ma'am it isn't safe right now. You need to get off the streets and into the safety bunkers quickly." IF ordered as the older woman took her son and quickly ran off to the bunker.
IF reloaded her weapon before calling Neptune.
"Neptune I'm in Lasation. Where are you?" IF asked.
"We're heading toward the business district. We've located the source of the monsters being their. Where are you right now?" Purple Heart asked.
"Um... I think I'm in the business district. I'll start searching for it." IF said.
"Be careful IF. We're still trying to take down the monsters here. We'll be their as quickly as we can." Purple Heart said as the line cut and with that IF went to find whatever is causing the monsters to appear.
However high above on a tower Croire was looking down at IF with a smirk on her face holding what appears to be a video camera.
"That's it Iffy. Go find that monster. Every minute that you're here will drain Lastation little by little of their share energy. Then the other nations will be next." Croire said as she observed from above watching her plan unfold.
