I do not own RWBY of Pokemon in any form!
A few days have passed since Jaune Arc has returned from the Pokemon world to Remnant. And ever since then, he has been trying to readjust to life at Beacon Academy once again. It was easier said than done, considering he's messed a year of classes or a month according to his friends... So, at least mentally, he had a lot of catching up to do.
Currently, the young man in question was doing some after-school homework with Lolix by his side. The grasshopper Pokemon made sure that all the homework was properly arranged, considering the fact the homework was for Professor Goodwitch, who was quite a stickler when it came to having proper paperwork.
"Let's see... what's the best strategy to use if my opponent is keeping me back with long-range attacks..."Jaune said to himself, wondering how he was supposed to answer this open-ended question.
"Lo..."said the grasshopper Pokemon.
"Oh! You're right. I can just use a natural barrier as defense and use the 26-ft rule to get in closer."said Jaune, who quickly wrote down that answer for the question.
Unknown to Jaune, he was currently being watched by his friends. They were worried he was going to do something stupid, which was completely reasonable considering the fact he conducted a bunch of electricity into experimental dust. So they decided to keep an eye on him. That way, he doesn't accidentally send himself to another world again...
"Wow, those look like some powerful legs."said Ruby, admiring the grasshopper Pokemon.
"It kind of looks like a robot."pointed out Nora, even though she knew from her fearless leader that Lokix was a bug / dark type Pokemon.
"Is anyone going to point out he can somehow understand them?"inquired Weiss, wondering how the dolt was able to talk to his Pokemon when he couldn't even speak their language.
"He said he feels what they say in his heart and that he can understand him in some weird way."Blake answered, since that's what the leader of team JNPR responded with when she asked that very same question the other day.
"Man, I really want to have a fight against one of those Pokemon."said Yang, who was letting her battle Maniac part of her show.
"You can not be serious right now."said Ren, wondering what was going through Yang's head.
"Hey, I'm wondering if they are super strong! Can you blame a girl for being curious?"said Yang in her own defense.
"Makes sense to me."said Pyrrha, who was a bit curious about the other Pokemon Jaune had in his possession.
She knew of Lokix, Lucario, and Sceptile, but she didn't know the other three Pokemon he had in his possession. She really wanted to meet them, but according to her partner, none of them wanted to see them at the moment as they were still adjusting.
"I can't take this anymore! Jaune, why don't you let me spar against one of your Pokemon?"inquired Yang, getting the attention of the Dork Knight as he finished his homework.
"How long have you guys been there?"Jaune inquired, not even noticing any of them for even a moment.
"Let me fight against the strongest Pokemon you have!"Yang demanded, basically saying he had no say in this.
"That would be the paradox Pokemon in my possession. And I don't think you can take him on."said Jaune, giving his blonde bombshell friend a chance to back away.
"Hey, I'll never know if I'll be able to take it on unless I try."countered Yang, who really wanted to test her might against the strongest Pokemon Jaune had in his possession.
"Okay... but don't say I didn't warn you."said Jaune, who quickly got up and recalled Lokix back to the nest ball.
He the motions for Yang and the others to follow him. They all look at each other with confusion, but nonetheless, decide to follow the Dork Knight and see where this goes. Yang, of course, was super eager to face the strongest Pokemon Jaune had in his possession, which he claims is a pokémon from the far-off future. She was extremely curious to see what kind of pokémon he had.
A few minutes later, the entire group arrived at the outskirts of Beacon.
"This is the one place where we won't be interrupted, and we won't have so much collateral damage. So, are you sure you want to go through with this?"inquired Jaune, giving Yang another chance to back off.
"Let's do this!"said Yang, who readied Ember Celica when she said that.
Jaune just rolled his eyes before pulling out an Ultra Ball. He looked at the ball nervously, knowing that this was going to be a tough battle for the blonde brawler. But he did try to warn her, so anything else that happens is on her!
"Iron Moth, I choose you!"said Jaune, who tossed the Ultra Ball release the paradox pokémon that was inside.
What came out of the Ultra Ball was a Pokemon resembling a robotic moth. It has four small "feet," red compound eyes, red horns on the sides of its head, and white armor plating covering its thorax. Its abdomen is black and light blue with two black diamond spots on the outside. It has six diamond-shaped wings that are mostly orange with white speckles and a single black triangle marking, which levitate a short distance away from its body.
"Is this some kind of Pokemon robot?"inquired Ruby, noticing that the Pokemon resemble a robot.
"You would think so, but no. This creature is organic and requires food, water, and sleep like the rest of us."said Jaune, explaining that Iron Moth was an organic being.
"These Pokemon creatures just get weirder and weirder."pointed out Weiss.
"Who cares if it's a robot or a real moth, I'm still going to beat it to the ground!"said Yang with confidence.
"Then let us do this!"said Jaune, who looked over at Iron Moth.
"Are you ready?"inquired Jaune, wondering if the paradox Pokemon was ready to battle.
"Irooon!"said the paradox Pokemon, clearly ready to throw down.
"Then I'll take the first move!"shouted Yang before she fired several shotgun blasts from Ember Celica at the paradox pokémon.
As soon as they struck the paradox Pokemon, it didn't even flinch. In fact, it didn't even appear bothered by the attack.
"Huh?"said Yang, who was confused by the fact her fire dust shotgun blast didn't work.
"Iron Moth is a fire / poison type, so that means fire type moves won't have much of an effect on it. Now, let's see how you handle our firepower! Use flamethrower!"ordered Jaune, which caused Iron Moth to take a deep breath before I blew out fire from its mouthpiece.
Yang quickly jumped out of the way to avoid getting hit with flamethrower. She quickly stood back up as soon as the flames ended, only to see the paradox Pokemon had closed the distance.
"Use discharge!"ordered Jaune, which caused the paradox Pokemon to surround its whole body with electricity before launching it at Yang, who quickly found herself in for the shock of her life!
"Zzzzzzzzz!"said Yang before the attack ended, leaving her kind of shooken up.
"Wow, so powerful!"commented Ruby, admiring Iron Moth's power.
"She took so much damage from one attack. Just how powerful is that thing!"commented Blake, feeling like Yang has been off more than she can chew. And now she couldn't help but worry for her partner.
"Use energy ball!"ordered Jaune, which caused the paradox Pokemon to form a green bowl of energy around its feet before it launched it at the blonde brawler.
Yang quickly recovered from her days and tried to block the attack with a punch, only to be flying as soon as her fist connected with an energy ball.
"Use take down and finish this!"ordered Jaune, causing the paradox Pokemon to surround its body with white energy before tackling Yang as soon as she fell to the floor.
She was quickly pushed towards her sister, with the rest of her team working to catch her. Yang was luckily caught by her teammates, where it was revealed that she was a bit dizzy and seeing stars, so to speak.
"Okay, I think that's enough."said Jaune, feeling like his fellow blonde has had enough.
"Phew.."said Ruby, glad that her sister was done.
"Man, that Pokemon sure is strong! Yang is one of the toughest students at school, and she took so much damage from only a few hits. I wonder how much more powerful that thing can get."said Nora with enthusiasm, who can already imagine all the bad guys' legs being broken by Iron Moth!
"Jaune, it's amazing you're able to control such a powerful creature."said Pyrrha, admiring her partner even more.
"Well, it does take a lot of work, and it took a lot of time to earn its trust. But at the end of the day, I feel like me and Iron Moth and I are good buddies."said Jaune, revealing that it took a lot to get the paradox Pokemon's trust.
Iron Moth meanwhile flew over and nuzzled Jaune, like it was affectionate. This made it clear to his friends that the paradox Pokemon was extremely loyal to the Dork Knight.
"Well, it looks like I still have room to grow. Don't think I'm going to forget this insult to my pride, Jaune Arc. One day, me and that robotic moth are going to have a fight as equals, and I'm going to win!"said Yang with confidence.
"We'll be waiting!"said Jaune, with the paradox pokémon nodding his head in agreement.
"Great! Now how about we go to the cafeter and get some dinner. It's late, and I'm not sure of the cafeteria hours. So let's get there and eat something before they close."said Ren, knowing proper huntsman could not go on an empty stomach to bed.
Yang's stomach growled in that moment, making her blush with nervousness. A couple of moments later, everyone laughed before they headed to the cafeteria. Jaune had recalled Iron Moth back to the Ultra Ball as this was happening.
The Vytal festival was only a few days away, and everyone had to prepare, especially Jaune Arc
