Chapter 7 A diamond in the rough

Later that night Stolas sobbed by the fountain that night crying at what had happened to the kind imp who helped him in the market and now…he was dead as Fuefue and Octavia walked over "Dad what's wrong?" Asked Octavia worried "Oh Tia its all my fault I met this wonderful and sweet and kind imp in the market place and *cries* he got beheaded" said Stolas as Octavia gasped sad as Fuefue nuzzled nosed the taller owl demon "I never got a chance to know his name, he didnt deserve to be accused of kidnapping me" said Stolas as Octavia hugged her father "We can tell grandma tommorow Valatino won't get away with this" she said.

However unknown to them in the deepest and darkest part of the dungon Blitzo was chained up as rats scuttered all over as Blitzo struggled to get out "I cant belive it, he was the prince…I cant belive it I must have sounded like a fool, I feel so stupid" he said

Sasukakes voice: have to agree with that at times

Said a voice as Blitzo looked up and saw Loona and the others were there "Guys!" He yelled "Told you me and Narutos nose dont lie" said Loona as they slipped through scuttling down a rope "Thanks guys now please let me out" he asked as Sakura and Millie were about to as Naruto and Moxxie spoke up "I say we should keep you like that as a punishment for falling for a pair of cute innocent eyes" said Naruto "Agreed sir, he was the prince, you brought him into our home *mocks there interaction* On your majesty may we take you too our ruined apartment" said Moxxie as Sakura and Millie scolded them as Blitzo got free "Its fine guys *Sighs* there is no way I would meet such a class act like him, I'm a imp and he is a prince" said Blitzo sad "Dad, I am sure you could see him again" said Loona as Blitzo shook his head "No Loon, he can only marry a princess or prince and someone like him deserves that" he said sad

Male raspy voice: your only a fool if you give up easily

The group turned and saw a slightly overweight hushed over moth like demon with a blindfold over his eyes wearing a cloak and hood limping over as Loona and Naruto growled hiss "Who are you?" Asked Millie "A lonely prisoner like you freind, but maybe together we can be something more" he said as Blitzo and the others were cautious at the moth demon "Were listening" said Blitzo cautious as he gently patted Loona head as Sakura did the same with Naruto who's instincts were yelling at the strange demon.

"There is a cave, the cave of wonders *Opens his palm showing seveal gems as the group were in awe* filled with treasures beyond what you can imagine" he said as Blitzo reached out to take the gems as the old moth closed his palm and went to his corner "Large enough treasure to gain the prince you want" he said however under his cloak it was revealed to be Sir Pentious revealing it was Valatino "Val come on hurry up its hot underhre" he said as his egg boys muttered as Valatino knocked him back "Now do we have a deal?" Asked Valatino as Blitzo shared a look with his freinds "Look all of that sounds amazing but I am not sure I am the one who can help out with your mission" said Blitzo as Valatino chuckled as he started to sing.

Valatino: you're the one that I need you're nimble

Stealthy skilled do you want to continue abusing those skills *Blitzo looked away as he looked at Loona as he recalled what he did to do to help Loona survive when she was a pup*

Stealing bits of bread and worthless baubles or do you want to make a name for yourself

And do something that would make any mother proud

Blitzo shared a look with his freinds "Hay I'm no diamond in the rough" said Blitzo denying he was a diamond in the rough, but Valatino was persistent.

Valatino: Under the filtht and the fleas there are gifts that you've been negletiing

Blitzo and his freinds shared a look "I dont know I've got a funny feeling about this, I think we better leave" said Blitzo as the others agreed as the moth demon didnt seem…trust worthy "Take one step and die you brainless Miscriants!" Said Valatino as the group flinched "Happy place" said Sir pentious calming the moth down "Apologies what I meant to say…"

Sir Pentius: Lets all rejoice to the spooky voices and said that you're the diamond in the Roooooouuuughhhh!

Valatino looked at the snake sinner as Blitzo and his comrads were confused and looked around for the voice who was vocalizing saying how Blitzo was a diamond in the rough

Valatino: Look here's the diamond in the

Sir Pentious: Three cheers the diamond in the

Sir pendulous and Valatino: We found the diamond in the rough!

Blitzo didnt trust the old man or the so called 'spooky voice' as his eyes narrowed "You better find somebody else!" Said Blitzo "Agreed I am sure there are many others who can do it better then us" said Millie "THERE IS NOBODY ELSE!" Said Valatono using his normal voice till Pentius calmed him down "Talk about the boy" the snake said as under his hood flaps his egg boys chitted as Valatino smiled.

Valatino: Oh then of course theres prince Stolas *Blitzos eyes widened recalling the sweet and kind owl who dispite being a prince was kind to a child who needed food* Its clear he took a shine to you

But let me be frank, with no cash in the bank you'll never win his heart It just tears me apart

To see him slip right through your fingers

Blitzo looked down as his freinds watched him ponder at what to do, but to meet Stolas again and to prove himself he made his voice "Which way is this cave of yours?" He asked surprising the group as Valatino smirked as he pushed aside a stone revealing away out…

Valatino: That a boy! Go through! You might be a bum

Sir pentious: It's just a cave that might eat you alive no need to fear it (Sakura and Moxxie: Wait what do you mean?)

Blitzo: Well its a risk I might have to take

He said as he looked at his comrads letting them know they must do it and must be brave to get to the cave and get the items to improve there lives.

Sir Pentious and Valatino: We're glad to hear it

Valatino: So please no missteps or blunders

Sir pentious: cue the cave of wonders

Valatino and Sir pentuous: we've waited long enough

With reluctance the group followed the old moth and managed to escape into the desert area following Valatinos talisman as the cave of wonders gate is summoned "Who disturbs our slumber" they said in a resonating voice as Blitzo stood to protect his comrads as he stood strong "It is I, Blitzo and my freinds and my family Loona, Moxxie, Millie, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura" he said with a strong connection as the threasholder looked down at the tall imp "You are the diamond in the rough, the one who's worth lies deep within, you may enter But touch nothing but the lamp!" The threasholder said as its doors entered as Blitzo felt his heart clench in happy surprise "I dont belive it, my mom always said if I only applied myself-if I only belive" he said as the others congratulated himself that he has great worth in himself as Valatino got impatient "We dont have time for self-discovery! Fetch me the lamp Now! And I will give you your reward!" Siad Valatino "Come on guys lets do this" said Blitzo as the group stepped into the threasholder

Valatino: Good Luck, goodbye you diamond in the

Sir pendulous: Please try you diamond in the

Valatino and Sir pentuous: Dont die you diamond in the rough

Valatino then gained cruelly and evily "At last!" He said with a dark and evil chuckle

Authors note: not Good Valatino got his diamond in the rough and now Blitzo and his freinds are in the literal belly of the beast to get the mysterious lamp.

Next chapter Blitzo and the others meet a shapeshifting shadow creature called a darkrai named Jack spicer and his mate a Renamon named Rika who helps the two get to the lamp that Valatino wanted.
