As soon as he said those word a wave of memory's came crashing in. It was worse than that time he got hit by a train.
Memory's of working with Tony, accidentally calling him dad.
Training with Nat and her teaching him combat and some spy skills.
Running with Steve and seeing which enhanced individual could run 5 miles first.
Him having conversations about science and physics with Bruce.
Learning sign language with Clint and jumping each other from vents.
Catching Bucky up to date on gen-z culture and watching him use terms like "pop off" and "cringe" in front of others.
Him sparing with (and betting) Sam, trying to beet each other.
The conversations he'd have with Rhodey about random things.
Even him showing Loki and Thor around the city and teaching them things about the planet.
Every one of those memories hit him all at once.
All he could do is look at disbelief at the people in front of him. The only sound he could let out is a quiet

The word hung in the air for what felt like hours, but only being seconds.
In a panic he ran past them as fast as he could. He ran down the hall way pretty much sniping over the stairwell from the 4th floor and down to the 1st.

He hears the clicking of his leg when it's about to lock up and in a quick decision, makes a run to the parking garage, not too far away from his apartment.
When he gets there he grabs his helmet, shoves it on his head, grabs his emergency bag and throws it over his shoulder, gets on his motorcycle, and takes off at tip speed.
