The early morning sun filtered through the trees, bathing Ishigami Village in a warm glow. The villagers assembled in the meeting area, their curiosity piqued. Senkuu, Gen and the usual group stood together.

Gen spoke up, casually started the conversation. "Tsukasa will know that Senkuu is alive."

Senkuu nodded with a nonchalant air. "Yeah, and he'll soon find out we couldn't produce gunpowder for the gun."

Ginrou, looking puzzled, asked, "Is it?"

Senkuu turned to face everyone, his expression serious. "Listen up. Tsukasa is producing the revival fluid; it's very simple. And we haven't resurrected a single stone statue yet." He continued, "That's because we lack the nitric acid."

Senkuu elaborated with his usual scientific flair. "Nitric acid is crucial for producing both revival fluid and gunpowder. It's derived from potassium nitrate and sulfuric acid. It can also be made with feces and shells," he explained, then added with a touch of irritation, "although it's a real pain in the ass because of how time-consuming it is."

"Without nitric acid, we can't produce gunpowder. This is definitely something Tsukasa will figure out right away," Senkuu chuckled humorlessly. "All in all, we have no gunpowder left, not even a residue."

Kohaku looked blank. "It's really hard to understand all these scientific terms. I still don't get it."

Kaseki, ever practical, added, "Explain it in layman's terms."

Senkuu sighed and simplified. "In other words, Tsukasa knows that even with guns, we have limited resources to use them. He'll likely muster an army to invade us."

Gen added, maintaining his usual smiling demeanor but clearly concerned, "Their forces will keep increasing due to Tsukasa having the revival fluid. And we couldn't produce gunpowder."

"Wh-what should we do then?" Ginrou, with evident worry in his voice, asked.

Senkuu looked at him, his smirk returning. "Strike first and gain the upper hand. But first, we must complete the weapon of science. The Japanese swords we made aren't enough."

With a hint of cockiness, Senkuu declared, "Well, rejoice everyone, modern technology is finally making its grand debut!" He continued, "The scientific civilization that has been diligently developed since the Stone Age has finally caught up with modern times. Those who master modern warfare will win. It's humanity's greatest weapon in two million years." He finished with a confident smirk.

Gen, with apprehension, interjected, "Nuclear weapons? Impossible."

Senkuu huffed dismissively. "Dumbass, no. Humanity's greatest weapon in two million years is communication technology." He paused for dramatic effect. "I want to make a mobile cellphone here in the Stone World."

Everyone looked around in confusion, unable to grasp the concept.

Kunzite found herself amidst the bustling crowd around Senkuu's latest creation—the cotton candy machine. Chrome had mentioned that their next goal was to create a mobile cellphone, though Kunzite wasn't entirely clear on what that entailed. She resolved to ask Senkuu for more details later. For now, she understood that to build the cellphone, they needed gold wires, which the cotton candy machine could help produce.

Senkuu, beaming with excitement, handed out the first batch of cotton candy. The villagers' faces lit up with delight as they tasted the sweet, airy treat. Laughter and cheerful chatter filled the air, adding a festive atmosphere to the scene.

As the excitement grew, Kunzite approached, her golden-brown eyes reflecting curiosity and amusement. She paused a few steps away from the machine, observing the spectacle with a gentle smile. Her calm and observant demeanor added a touch of warmth to the lively scene.

Noticing Kunzite, Senkuu waved her over with an enthusiastic grin. "Kunzite! Come try this out. We're testing the cotton candy machine!"

Kunzite walked over, her gaze shifting from the machine to Senkuu. He handed her a piece of cotton candy, the white strands sticking to her fingers.

"Thank you, Senkuu," Kunzite said, accepting the treat with a soft smile. She took a bite, and her eyes widened in pleasant surprise. "It's surprisingly delightful! I didn't expect it to taste this good."

Senkuu's grin widened at her reaction. "I'm glad you like it! It's just a test run,"

From the back, Gen chimed in, "They've never had such a nice dessert before."

Senkuu agreed, "That's right. It's just regular cotton candy, but for those trying it for the first time, it's quite a treat."

"All thanks to Homura for setting a fire in one of the houses back then," Gen commented, "We have the ingredient we need for this cotton candy."

Kunzite's interest piqued. 'Homura?' She glanced towards Gen, who was enjoying his cotton candy peacefully.

"Homura's the pink-haired girl who was with Hyouga, right?" Senkuu informed to Gen before catching Kunzite's eyes. "I didn't catch her name last time since they retreated so fast."

Kunzite nodded, reflecting on her own encounter with Homura. She had clashed with the woman, and looking back, she acknowledged that Homura was stronger than she had anticipated. Kunzite took another bite of the sugary treat, lost in thought.

"Do you know what kind of woman Homura is?" Senkuu asked plainly.

Kunzite nearly choked on her cotton candy at the question. Ginrou, who was nearby, grinned mischievously.

"What? Senkuu interested in girls too? Do you like petite girls?" Ginrou teased, giving Senkuu a playful nudge. Senkuu's face flushed with annoyance, while some of the nearby girls listened with interest.

Chrome glanced at the exchange with a blank expression. "No. That's definitely not the case."

"They don't know anything about Senkuu," Kohaku added.

Senkuu, clearly irritated, cut in. "Dumbasses, we're being watched. All of us are being watched by that girl, maybe even by someone else we don't know about."

The revelation made Ginrou visibly spooked, and some of the villagers became alert.

"That makes sense," Gen said, nodding. "After all, that girl is the only one Hyouga trusts the most. Knowing we've captured Hyouga, one of Tsukasa's key allies, they'll definitely make a move."

Ginrou's eyes widened. "They're watching us?"

"Of course," Senkuu confirmed. "Probably from a vantage point we can't see, and they likely have a clear view of what we're doing."

Senkuu then issued orders. "Alright, everyone. We cannot let them know where we've hidden Hyouga. Are there any places suitable for hiding him?"

Ruri, who had been silent until now, stepped forward. "I know a place."

"Good. Tsukasa will likely prioritize tracking my moves other than everyone else's, so they'll be watching me closely," Senkuu said. "Kohaku, accompany Ruri and bring some guards with you, discreetly. Kunzite, join them. Considering you were the first person Hyouga interacted with after his capture, your presence will be crucial."

"Everyone else, follow me," Senkuu finished.

Kunzite followed Ruri and Kohaku as they made their way to the designated hiding spot for Hyouga. It took them a whole day to prepare Hyouga's new cell as the sky now colored with grey and black shades. The path led them to a secluded area at the bottom of a ravine near the village's graveyard. The rugged terrain and the natural cover of the graveyard provided the perfect concealment for their needs.

As they approached the cave entrance, which Kaseki had prepared with an iron prison, Kunzite noticed how well it blended with the surrounding rocks. It was both secure and discreet, an ideal place to keep Hyouga hidden from any prying eyes.

Hyouga, still bound and visibly irritated, was being led along by Ruri. He glanced around at the gloomy setting with a sarcastic smirk. "Oh, wonderful. A graveyard and a ravine. You've really outdone yourselves this time. How thoughtful of you to choose such a cheerful location for my new home."

Kunzite stepped forward, her calm demeanor contrasting with Hyouga's sardonic tone. "It's secure and discreet. That's what matters right now."

Hyouga chuckled. "Secure, sure. Discreet? Maybe. But it's hardly a five-star prison. I'd almost prefer the discomfort of your usual cell. At least they're not so... dreary."

Kohaku, who had been silently observing, narrowed her eyes. "Enough with the sarcasm. We don't have time for this. Just stay quiet and let's get this over with."

Kunzite glanced at Kohaku, sensing her growing irritation. "Kohaku, is there a problem?"

Kohaku's expression hardened. "Yes, there is. I'm tired of his bluster. If he's going to keep talking, he's going to make this more complicated."

Without further warning, Kohaku swiftly knocked Hyouga unconscious with a well-placed strike. Hyouga slumped against the ground, effectively silenced.

Ruri looked at Kohaku, her eyes widening. "That was... quick."

Kunzite nodded in agreement. "We need to move him before anyone notices. Let's get him to the hiding spot."

As they lifted Hyouga's unconscious form, Kohaku grumbled under her breath. "If he's going to be a nuisance, better he's out cold for now."

The group made their way to the iron prison, carefully placing Hyouga inside. The iron bars, hidden among the rocks, provided a secure containment while blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

Kaseki, who had been waiting nearby, gave a nod of approval. "The iron prison is well-hidden. It should serve its purpose until things settle down. Senkuu really made me finish this for a whole day."

Kohaku turned to the guards who had accompanied them. "All right, we need to keep watch on this area. Two of you stay here and ensure the prison remains secure. The rest of you, return to the village and stay alert."

One of the guards stepped forward, nodding in understanding. "Understood. We'll keep a close eye on things."

Kunzite, who had been quietly observing, spoke up. "I'd like to stay as well. I know the area and can assist if needed."

Kohaku looked at Kunzite, considering her request. "You sure you want to stay? It could be dangerous if you're left alone with this man."

Kunzite met her gaze steadily. "Yes. I have a vested interest in ensuring Hyouga remains secure, and I can help with any immediate issues that arise."

Kohaku nodded, seemingly satisfied with Kunzite's determination. "Very well. Stay alert, and let us know immediately if you notice anything unusual."

The ravine fell silent as the guards and Kunzite took their positions around the iron prison. The moonlight filtered through the narrow opening of the cave, casting a soft glow on the iron bars and the surrounding rocks. Kunzite stood near the entrance, her gaze alert and watchful.

After a few minutes, a slight rustling sound emanated from within the iron prison. Hyouga began to stir, his eyes fluttering open. The dim light revealed Kunzite's calm and composed figure standing just outside the cell.

Hyouga's groggy eyes focused on Kunzite, and he squinted, trying to make sense of his surroundings. He was met with Kunzite's steady gaze, her golden-brown eyes reflecting both curiosity and vigilance.

"Well, well," Hyouga said, his voice rough from unconsciousness. "Looks like I'm still in this charming cell after that woman knocked me out the second time. And of all the people I could wake up to, it's you."

Kunzite remained calm, her expression a mix of neutrality and mild amusement. "Seems you're awake. How are you feeling?"

Hyouga tried to move, testing his restraints. "As comfortable as one can be in a graveyard prison. But I suppose that's not your concern, is it?"

Kunzite's gaze was steady. "My concern is ensuring you're secure and that no one notices this location. We're taking precautions."

Hyouga chuckled, though it was laced with irritation. "Precautions? Interesting choice of words. I suppose you think this is going to keep me from causing trouble."

Kunzite's calm demeanor didn't waver. "We're hoping it will keep you secure and minimize any risks. It's not perfect, but it's the best we can do for now."

Hyouga studied Kunzite, noting her composed and collected manner. "You're quite the serene one, aren't you? Most people would be nervous with me around."

Kunzite's lips curved into a small, reassuring smile. "I've learned to stay calm in situations like these. It helps in dealing with... unpredictable elements."

Hyouga raised an eyebrow. "Unpredictable elements, huh? Well, I suppose I'm one of those. And what's your role in all of this, besides keeping me company?"

Kunzite's gaze softened slightly. "I'm here to ensure everything goes smoothly and to assist with any issues that might arise. Right now, that means making sure you stay put and keeping watch."

Hyouga's smirk faded a little as he processed her words. "You seem quite dedicated to this task. I'll give you that."

Kunzite's expression remained steady. "It's important to ensure the safety of everyone involved. That includes you."

Hyouga fell silent, seemingly considering Kunzite's words. He leaned back against the bars, his previous bravado momentarily subdued. Kunzite took this as a sign that he might be more receptive to conversation.

Before she could say more, the sound of approaching footsteps echoed in the ravine. Senkuu emerged from the shadows, his sharp eyes taking in the scene with a quick, assessing glance.

"Everything alright here?" Senkuu asked, his tone as matter-of-fact as ever.

Kunzite nodded. "Hyouga just woke up. He's been cooperative so far."

Senkuu stepped closer, his gaze shifting to Hyouga. "Good to see you're awake. I assume you're enjoying our accommodations."

Hyouga's eyes narrowed slightly. "As much as one can enjoy a prison in a ravine. Very charming, Senkuu."

Senkuu smirked. "I'm sure it's not up to your usual standards, but it'll do the job. We need you out of the way while we handle things."

Kunzite observed the exchange, noting the tension between the two.

Senkuu turned to Kunzite, his expression softening slightly. "Make sure the guards stay alert. We can't afford any slip-ups."

Kunzite nodded. "Understood. I'll stay here as well to keep an eye on things."

Senkuu's gaze lingered on her for a moment longer. "Don't overextend yourself, Kunzite. You've been doing a lot lately. Make sure you get some rest when you can."

Kunzite offered a small, appreciative smile. "I will. Thank you, Senkuu."

Senkuu gave her a brief nod of approval. "Good. We're counting on you."

As Senkuu turned to leave, he paused and looked back at Hyouga. "Remember, we're watching you just as closely as you're watching us."

The minutes ticked by in silence, the weight of the situation settling in the cool night air. Kunzite stood by the entrance of the iron prison, her mind occupied with thoughts of the days ahead. She glanced at Hyouga, who seemed lost in his own thoughts, his expression a mix of contemplation and irritation.

Deciding to break the silence, Kunzite spoke up. "Hyouga, can I ask you something?"

Hyouga's eyes flicked towards her. "Is this about Tsukasa again?"

Kunzite smiled, "Perhaps. I'd just want to know more about him."

Hyouga closed his eyes, leaning back to his cell as he gestured his head for her to continue more.

"Strong only should survive. Is that really into it?"

Hyouga leaned back, contemplating her words. "Tsukasa believes that strength will naturally weed out corruption. Only the strong and pure will thrive in his world."

Kunzite looked up at him, her eyes earnest. "But strength alone doesn't guarantee purity. Even someone strong can become corrupt if given too much power. Can Tsukasa ensure that none of his chosen followers will abuse their power?"

Hyouga stared down at Kunzite, a hint of challenge in his eyes. "And you believe Senkuu can do better? He wants to revive everyone, regardless of their past. Isn't that inviting chaos?"

Kunzite shook her head, her expression thoughtful. "Senkuu's goal is to rebuild civilization, and he influences the villagers, shaping their beliefs towards something better. There's violence here too," she admitted, recalling the tension with Magma, "but Senkuu believes in addressing it directly, using knowledge and reason."

Hyouga leaned forward, his eyes narrowing. "And you think knowledge alone can stop corruption? History is filled with intelligent tyrants."

Kunzite met his gaze, unwavering. "So does strong individuals when given an unchecked power," Kunzite sighed, "I'm not certain of anything, Hyouga, I wasn't here hundred years ago unlike you all. But I believe in Senkuu's vision because it includes everyone, giving us a chance to learn and grow together. I will do my utmost best to support him."

Hyouga studied her for a long moment before nodding slowly. "You're willing to bet on an uncertain future, then. How can you be sure Senkuu will win?"

Kunzite smiled faintly. "I'm not sure. But I'll fight for it because it's a future worth believing in."

Hyouga remained silent, then Kunzite spoke again. "A noble sentiment, yes. Yet, even if we or Tsukasa wins, violence and corruption won't die overnight."

They sat in silence for a while, the weight of their discussion settling between them. The evening air grew cooler, and Kunzite finally broke the silence.

"Would you like to have dinner?" she asked softly.

Hyouga closed his eyes, the tension leaving his body as he exhaled. "I'd like to."

Senkuu sat at his lab table, surrounded by a chaotic array of beakers, test tubes, and half-finished experiments. The sun already set and now exchanged with night, casting a light glow through the open windows of the lab. Yet, despite the familiar bustle of his work, his thoughts were far from the intricate calculations and experiments in front of him.

He glanced out the window and saw Kunzite in the village square, her dark hair catching the rays of moonlight. She moved with a calm grace, tending to her herbs and chatting with the villagers. There was a softness in her demeanor, a gentleness that contrasted sharply with the constant rush of scientific progress he was used to.

Senkuu's mind wandered to recent conversations with Kunzite. She had been instrumental in helping him plan their next moves, especially in strategizing how to protect the village from potential threats and how to efficiently utilize their resources. Her insights had been invaluable, particularly when it came to understanding the social dynamics and morale of the villagers.

Sure that Kohaku and Chrome, even the others, help him throughout his endeavors, but he thought about the times when Kunzite had quietly listened to his plans and then offered her perspectives. She had a way of seeing things from angles he hadn't considered, often pointing out potential flaws or suggesting improvements that made their plans more robust. It was during these moments that he realized how much he relied on her input.

Senkuu shook his head, trying to refocus on his work. But Kunzite's image lingered in his mind. Her calm and observant nature had become a source of intrigue for him. He found himself admiring her not only for her insights but for the way she interacted with the people around her. The way she had patiently explained her idea, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm, had been striking.
