Soon enough, Optimus removed his focus from the sword and onto Ratchet and Lancex, just as Ratchet was finishing up his tests and scans. "Alright, you're good" Ratchet annouced. Lancex nodded and got up to go. Optimus handed over Lancex's sword. Lancex smiled in thanks, which caused the young Prime's spark to run wild. Optimus was going to leave with Lancex, but Ratchet stopped the Prime. Ratchet called Bee to come and help show Lancex around. Bee soon came and took Lancex with him. Optimsu was not happy, but Ratchet wasn't done working with Optimus just yet. Plus, the medic had important information for Optimus to know, as leader of the group.
"What's the hold up, Ratchet?" Optimus asked, clearly not happy about staying behind. Ratchet quickly scanned over the bot and thankfully found no issues.
"You are the leader of this bunch of misfits and so it is my duty to inform you of the health of your team" Ratchet replied plainly.
"So what do I need know about Lancex, Ratchet?" Optimus asked.
"He is a good fighter, programmed to heal faster and be stronger than most bots.." ratchet started out.
"Why would he need that? We are not currently at war" Optimus queried.
"Because, and I tell you this in the strictest of confidence, that he a a rare, very submissive mech. You know what that means, right?" Ratchet shot back.
"Yes,I know the nuts and bolts, just get to your point" Optimus shot back.
"Well, he is submissive enough he requires 2 strong dominant bots and can become very sparked when in heat" Ratchet replied, seeing that Optimus was fully realizing what this was meaning. Optimus was about to ask about anything else when Ratchet added, "he is also has a deep scar that goes clean through his spark." Optimus wasn't exactly sure what that meant but nodded. Ratchet, seeing that all was said sent Optimus out and asked him to send in Prowl and Bulkhead for eval. Optimus agreed and headed out.
As Optimus headed out, he had a lot on his mind with everything he had just learned and seen. He could only hope things went well.
Meanwhile, as Bee was busy showing Lancex around, Lancex's mind wasn't completely on the tour. He was thinking of the island and Grimlock. Lancex could only hope that the dinobot was stable and not acting insane as he sometimes could. Only time would tell.
