Inconsistency. Chapter 9.

Marinette had never felt so sick before in her life.
Somehow, Lila was able to get ahold of a magical object that allowed her to use illegal magic. An object that she had no right to and use in such a way! Even if she didn't know about the Laws and Rules of the Magical Realm, Lila still had no right or should've used magic in THAT way!
"Uncle..." Marinette got out as she watched Officer Prowl write the whole event down with a rather peeved expression. She knew her uncle well, and knew that when he expressed his emotions, he was experiencing a large amount of that emotion. Now, he looked angry, so logically, he was enraged. Not that Marinette could blame him... She felt the same way, on top of feeling sick.
But more importantly,
Marinette turned her attention towards Adrien, who was being comforted by Chloe and Nino as Al and Officer Prowl went with Miss Bustier to the Headmaster's office to contact the Magi Guardian about this incident. The Ladybug Holder knew that asking Adrien if he was okay was utterly pointless. It was clear that he wasn't and no one could blame him.
Yeah, sure, being mind controlled isn't anything new to them, unfortunately, but there was a radical difference between being controlled by an Akuma or as an Akuma and what Lila did.
The Akuma were being manipulated by Hawkmoth and had their emotions and desires were amped up to ten, thus weren't in control of their actions. While the control from an Akumatized person had some sort of theme or specific purpose that they kept to. Plus most people couldn't remember what they did under the Akuma.
But the mind control Lila pulled...
Marinette bit her lips as she shook off these negative thoughts. While she didn't have to worry about Hawkmoth anymore, the habit was still there. And she didn't want to think about that liar at the moment.
What took priority was Adrien and making sure he was okay.
Marinette looked over at the blonde boy, who was leaning completely into Chloe's one-armed hug.
Under normal circumstances, this would NOT be allowed on school grounds, but given what had just happened... Miss Buster had no problem with letting this slide and would 100% defend it if anyone says otherwise.
The class instinctively looked for Akuma Butterflies before realising that it was no longer needed. Old habits. Everyone somewhat looked at one another, wanting to say something yet wasn't sure what to say. Not that anyone could blame one another, given what happened...
However, Alya was going through her blog, scrubbing everything and everything about Lila. The blogger should've done this the moment she found out about the unwanted attention, but then the whole fake photo fiasco happened and the Ladyblog took a backseat. The only new post was the news about Hawkmoth's defeat. Right now, Alya couldn't care less about pissing Lila off by removing her from the Ladyblog, this wasn't even close to what the blogger felt the liar deserved. But it made Alya feel just a little better in a cathartic way.
A hand on the Ladyblogger's shoulder jolted her out of her fixation on her task. Alya looked up to see Sabrina, staring at her with a worried expression etched all over her face. Alya glanced at her phone screen before she darkened it and then shoved it in her pocket before letting out a soft sigh. A second later, Sabrina wrapped an arm around the blogger's shoulders as she sat next to her.
Nath was tapping his pencil on his sketchbook, creating dot after dot with no particular order or pattern. In fact, he wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing. Alix noticed this and placed her hand on the pencil, causing it to freeze in Place. Nath looked at the skater girl in confusion at this. Alix nodded her chin at the dotted section of the sketchbook, which caused the artist to look at that. When Nath realised what he was doing, he released his grip on the pencil. Alix took the writing implement and placed it next to the sketchbook before she leaned against the artist. placing her head on his shoulder. Nath let this happen, knowing that both of them needed this.
Both Juleka and Rose were holding each other in their arms, comforting one another best they could despite the cloud hanging overhead. The normally peppy pink girl was sullen while the goth buried her face in the other's blonde hair, not caring about the make-up she wore. Tears didn't just stain their cheeks.
Mylene was staring out the window blankly as Ivan held her close, also staring out the window. Neither felt like moving or changing what they were doing. A passing bird caught their attention, so they ended up focusing on that. Then Mylene and Ivan saw the bird join a nearby flock.
Max's focus was on a paper in front of him as he wrote two symbols repeatedly. '0' and '1'. The techie just pencilled down these two numbers, in some kind of pattern that he seemed to understand. Markov was able to read this odd two numberwriting and debated about communicating something regarding his agreement, but ended up concluding on not saying anything as of now. Kim watched Max write as he twirled a pencil between the fingers on his right hand mindlessly. The Athlete did drop the item a few times, but he didn't seem to care as he picked it back up and went back to weave it between his fingers.
Nino almost jumped when he heard noise on his other side. He turned to see Marinette taking a seat next to him. The Ladybug Holder glanced at the Temporary Black Cat Holder before her attention was on Adrien. Nino looked back at his buddy with worry written all over his face.
Adrien could finally feel his whirlwind of emotions settling down. Those were still there, but not as volatile as they had been just moments earlier. While he was still mad about what Lila did to him, he was glad that it wasn't anything worse than making him go to school and spew all those distasteful things. By Kwami, THAT certainly added nausea to the flurry of a mixing pot. Adrien took a deep breath and tried to think about the positive things to happen. It helped with easing him into a better mindset.
That was when Adrien felt a familiar weight leaning against his leg. He glanced down and saw the black Kwami curled up next to him, out of view of everyone other than Adrien and Nino. Was this risky? Probably. Did either Black Cat Holder or Plagg care? Not right now.

Damocles narrowed his eyes at what he was told. He was quick to tell Miss Bustier to keep an eye on her class, and not to let them leave until Officer Prowl says otherwise.
When the policeman explained what would happen, Damocles was quick to approve of it. Miss Bustier was clearly uncomfortable with this, but if it was to ensure that her students were safe, she'll happily accept it.
Al was fine with all this, so long as he remained with his child.
As the three left, Damocles carefully hung the protective charm up near the window of his office, just like he was told to do, before he went to his computer and sent the gathered data on Lila Rossi to the School Board.
}{
Magi Guardian Jazz was mobilising the appropriate task force to apprehend one Lila Rossi. Given what he had learned about this rather petty child and what she had already done... Jazz was not taking ANY chances until that bracelet was retrieved.

Miss Buster returned to her classroom with Al. Officer Prowl had to take a call and needed a space to talk to the person.
The PI was relieved when he saw that Adrien was looking a lot calmer. Al glanced at the other students in the classroom. His lips pressed into a line when he read the room. Al honestly couldn't blame any of them for having this kind of reaction to what had just transpired. The PI had the experience to help these teens through this event, but... He didn't know where to start...
A minute later, the door to the classroom opened. Then Kagami and Marc walked in with unsure looks on their faces. Oddly enough, Nora walked in with a confused expression. Of course, the class, teacher, and PI were confused as to why the kick-boxer was on school grounds during school hours.
Officer Prowl was the last one through the door, which he closed right behind him and locked it. The homicide officer took in a deep breath before letting it out very slowly. Officer Prowl looked at everyone in the classroom with a serious expression and stated, "Both the Magi Guardian and the Miraculous Guardian agree on the situation... No more Secret Identities and stay put until I get the confirmation call from the Magi Guardian that it is safe. No exceptions."
Everyone's jaw dropped at this, especially the Kwamis.
Well, this wasn't how the Miraculous Holders expected their Identity Reveal was going to happen.

Gale-Dragon: Yeah... It's short, surprisingly enough. Enjoy it while it lasts because the next chapter is going to be a doosy.
