This is the 14th chapter. I don't own the series of My Hero Academia or the series of Justice League.
GuestDCDGojira: It'll be more like he'll be screaming sopranos while feeling that painful in the morning.
Shadow Joestar: Yeah, but it'll be in the future chapters.
BrianShooter672: Thanks, and I completely agree about that which Aizawa may have to warn the others too. Glad you enjoyed that Mineta getting beaten while Bakugo had his balls 'scrambled'. I don't think Nezu is secretly supporting them, he's just trying to get those vigilantes and have them either enroll at U.A. High or get thrown in Tartarus, that's all. That's like J.J. (James Jameson from Marvel Comics) accusing Spider-Man and branded him as a menace. And like J.J., Nezu overshadows the vigilante group and not thinking them as heroes since they did all the work while the Pro Heroes cared about popularity.
Aftermath in USJ and the Truth of Vigilantes
After the Bat family, the Boondock Saints, Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club, the Justice League, Catwoman, and Delta left USJ, the U.A. staff members and the police arrived at USJ. After they got word of the attack, the police rushed to the USJ, with several police cars and ambulances for the injured. Most of the villains were captured and rounded up, taken to the armored buses while taking the dead villains inside of the body bags, taken them into the other armored vans for them to either bury or cremate them. The students of Class 1-A were standing with Barbara and Naomasa.
Naomasa counted the students to make sure that everyone was here.
"Everyone seems to be unharmed except for the boy whose faces was beaten and battered while the other boy was getting the icepack." Naomasa informed.
"DAMMIT THAT HURTS! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON THAT CLOWN EXTRA, I'LL RIP HER INTO A NEW ONE! OOOOOOWWWWWWWW! DAMMIT SHE HIT MY BALLS WITH THE BASEBALL BAT!" The voice of Bakugo yelled out in a high-pitched voice which it got Eijiro snickered a bit.
"She did leave something on his back, look!" Eijiro said, showing a piece of paper to Sero and Rikado as it reads, 'Hi, my name is Bomb Baby Bakugo.'
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! BOMB BABY BAKUGO!" Both Eijiro, Rikado, and Sero shouts with a laughter.
Mina and Ochaco were curious of why the two are laughing as the look at the note, read it, and started to release a few snorts as they burst into a laughter which it's very funny. Aizawa can tell that Harley Quinn left Bakugo a note on his which it got him snickered a bit, thinking it's funny. Both Naomasa and Barbara look at the note, but started to chuckle a bit since she knows it was Harley Quinn who wrote that note and tried to make it funny.
A girl named Toru Hagakure placed her hand on Ojiro's shoulder.
Toru Hagakure is a fairly short girl with completely invisible body. She only consists of a pair of light blue gloves, decorated by pale pink lines, and light brownish-gray lace-up shoes.
"Ojiro, I heard you got help from Tarantula and Vigilante." Toru said. "Glad you made it out."
"Well, I didn't know I was the only one on my own." Ojiro said with a sheepish expression. "So yeah, I got help. Where did you end up fighting, Hagakure?"
"The Landslide Zone!" Toru answered, pointing at Shoto. "You wouldn't believe how strong Todoroki was. He's amazing!"
"You don't say? Well, I'm just glad you didn't get hurt." Ojiro said with a smile.
'I didn't even know she was there. I could've frozen her.' Shoto mentally thought.
"Aren't you worried about moi? Where was my sparkling light?" Yuga asked, posing elegantly, but the grouped ignored him.
"Interesting. So, you and Bakugo were saved by a vigilante as well?" Tokoyami asked, who's standing with Eijiro, Koda, and Denki.
"Yeah, by some clown lady named Harley Quinn." Eijiro answered. "She made a quick work with these guys by using that 'Joker gas', nasty stuff. Not to mention she just given Bakugo a nutshot."
"Did you missed me?" Yuga asked again with another group, but ignored again.
"So, Signal managed to beat that smoke guy and helping out against that huge monster." Sero said. "And Batman just beat that monster."
"Those guys are pretty hardcore, and Batman was pretty badass in that giant robot suit." Rikado added.
"Yeah, it's crazy." Shoji nodded.
"Where do you think I was?" Yuga asked, placed his hand on Tsuyu's shoulder.
"Um, where?" Tsuyu asked.
"That's a secret!" Yuga declared.
"Principal Nezu." Aizawa called him, earned his attention when he approaches him. "I've decided to give up on searching for Batman and the others."
"What? Why?!" Nezu exclaims in disbelief. "You were determined to catch them."
"I was, but Batman was able to outmatch me and it got me realizing...if there were other vigilantes like him and the others, we would be outnumbered, and we won't win this fight." Aizawa explains seriously. "Think about it, if we keep on trying to find them in a middle of a wild goose chase, then we will fail to see a bigger picture. Like in USJ, the villains did try to ambush, but we were lucky that Batman and the vigilante group arrived, saving us and taken down those criminals. I'd say we should stop chasing after them and hoping that we can ally with them."
Nezu was shocked of Aizawa's words, couldn't believe what he just said. Aizawa is making a valid point after the incident at USJ.
"He's right, Nezu." All Might agrees. "If it weren't for them, our students, Aizawa, and Thirteen would've died by those villains today. We were lucky they came and stop them. Also, it got to realizing that we failed to see a bigger picture because of a countless search for those vigilantes years ago. Nezu, I think we should give them a chance and we have to earn their trust if we want to consider them as allies."
Nezu was completely stunned that both Aizawa and All Might gave up on capturing Batman and the others. The U.A. faculty staff, Barbara, Naomasa, Class 1-A, and the police overheard their conversation which they're surprised about it.
"I think should give Batman and the others a chance." Thirteen suggests. "They did save the students from those villains."
"Yes, I would agree on this." Snipe agrees. "They've proven themselves they're heroes over in Japan. Though, the Boondock Saints, Delta, and Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club have killed those thugs, which it's a tad overkill."
"We should at least try to get to know them. They don't care about popularity, fame, glory, or money, all they care is that they're saving someone and taking down criminals." A Hunting Hound Dog Hero called Hound Dog points out.
Hound Dog has the appearance of a dog. He has a scruffy mane of blond hair sticking straight out behind his head. He also wears a muzzle over his slightly pointed snout.
Nezu was lead himself into a stalemate over about Batman which it's something he didn't expect. Nezu was hoping that the more sensible people would choose the capture over given them a chance. He glanced at Naomasa.
"I think we'll see if they're trustworthy first." Naomasa suggested. "I'll base my decision after judging them."
Nezu already knew of Barbara's answer since she's on good terms with the vigilante group which it got him sighed in defeat.
"Very well. I'm assuming you're all going to give them a chance." Nezu said. "But, if it comes down if they're not trustworthy, then the vigilantes will be into Tartarus."
Neither of them liked his statement which they can understand that.
After having Class 1-A heading back to school, Barbara headed to the car. She then stopped, narrowed her eyes.
"Come on out, I know you're there." Barbara said when Aizawa, All Might, and Nezu revealed themselves.
All Might's true form is a very skinny man with sharp angular features and long limbs, his neck long and his eyebrows absent. He possesses a large scar that covers most of the left side of his chest, and it's not uncommon for him to spout blood from his mouth. He wears baggy clothes to accommodate the change in body mass between forms.
"What is it that you hope to gain by following me to my car?" Barbara asks with a scowl. "I've already told you all, I..."
"We know what you said, but it's not the case, Commissioner." All Might interrupts, sighed. "Look, I know we've been on bad terms for years when you became the Commissioner, and we know you've been on good terms with Batman and the vigilante group. What we don't understand as to why? I mean, we're Pro Heroes, does that even count?"
"If you'd count as working on some lines that are based of Saturday Morning cartoons, then yeah." Barbara answered with her raised eyebrow, causing Aizawa to snicker.
"Jokes aside, we just want to know the truth about the vigilantes, including Batman." Nezu points out. "I'm not saying this just give them a decision, all I'm saying is that we're going to fight those villains, we could at least know more about those vigilantes."
Barbara is starting to get the ideas about the reason why the three are here. Apparently inside of finding and capture the vigilante group, they need to know more about them if they're going to fight those villains instead of fighting each other.
"Get in. I'm planning to head for the Wayne Manor." Barbara suggested as they get inside of the police car.
At Wayne Manor, Ethan, Eri, and Bruce were about to relax in the living room while watching the news since the villains have been taking out at USJ. They heard a knock on a door as Bruce opens it, revealing to be Barbara, Aizawa, Nezu, Naomasa, and Toshinori.
"Barbara, didn't expect you have visitors here." Bruce said.
"I'm not, they kept insisting on coming along." Barbara told him. "They're here for a couple of questions."
It didn't take long for Bruce to figure out the real reason why they're here by putting two and two together. He quietly gestured them inside as they enter the manor, which it got Ethan noticed that the U.A. staff members are here for answers as he readied his phone in case if it gets out of hand. Just as they arrived at the room, Bruce went to the kitchen for getting tea ready. They sat quietly while waiting for the tea.
"So, Young Wayne, how have you been?" Toshinori asked awkwardly. "How long has it been since the prison opened?"
"About 11 years." Ethan answered simply. "And it looks like you've been in bad shape ever since the fight against the 'Chainsaw' villain named Toxic Chainsaw."
"You know your stuff, like Young Midoriya." Toshinori states, impressed by the fact Ethan remembered the event. "That punk may have landed some hits, but he couldn't bring me down. This fight was never made in public, I did everything I could to keep it under wraps."
"You do realize that the public will find out sooner or later." Ethan points out, causing Toshinori to sigh since he's right. "But you guys didn't come here for formal greeting. Barbara, I can understand."
"What do you mean by that?" Aizawa questions.
"I came here often to catch up with Bruce, and I usually have Emily and James with me whenever they like to pay a visit." Barbara explains. "You see, Ethan is home-schooled and Bruce taught him ever since he took him in."
"Really? How did it happen?" Toshinori asks surprisingly.
"My parents were murdered in the alley by a petty thug when I was a kid." Ethan told them, earned their attention. "Bruce took down that thug, he took me in, and raised me."
"According to the files, Ethan's parents are Eric and Miku Summers, they're the co-workers of Wayne Enterprises." Naomasa explains. "He's also related to Iwao and Tamao. Iwao was a Pro Hero known as Overclock, but retired after his Quirk was stolen."
Aizawa groaned in annoyance since he's been encountered by Iwao once long ago. Even though, Aizawa knew that Iwao is stubborn on given up because of the villains and his missing daughter.
Bruce arrived with a serving tray full of teacups and a teapot as he placed it down at the table. Toshinori, Aizawa, Nezu, Naomasa, and Barbara have taken the teacups while Bruce sat next to Ethan since the discussion is going to be serious.
"Now, why are you four here?" Bruce questions with a serious look on his face. "You didn't came here just to see us."
Toshinori, Aizawa, Naomasa, and Nezu knew that Bruce Wayne was right about it since they can't fool him because of his sharp mind.
"I'm afraid you're right, Mr. Wayne, we came here for questioning about Batman." Nezu answered. "You see, Batman and the vigilante group came by this morning at USJ. After the students explaining about the incident, it occurred that they saved our students and taken down those villains."
"We came to realize that we were in the wrong. We should've work with them instead of fighting, though Batman did beat me back the warehouse." Aizawa adds. "Hell, they're even able to save lives without any hassle. What we're trying to say is, we should've stop trying to capture them and at least help them so we can work together on beating those villains."
Barbara, Bruce, and Ethan can tell they're being serious about making allies with the vigilantes instead of becoming enemies while getting beaten by villains. They decided to tell them the truth since they're being trustworthy enough, but only if they keep the Government a secret as Bruce, Barbara, and Ethan got up their seats.
Toshinori, Nezu, Aizawa, and Naomasa were confused at first while watching them heading out of the room, which Barbara motions them to follow, so they followed them.
At the Batcave, Barbara, Bruce, Eri and Ethan lead them into the Batcave which it got them shocked of what they've just witnessed. Toshinori, Nezu, Aizawa, and Naomasa just couldn't believe it when they noticed the cave was actually a base to Batman. Bruce and Barbara even give them a full explanation and even showed them everything.
"Before Ethan, James, and Emily, Bruce and I were the first Batman and Batgirl at Gotham City. We fought many foes, but we worked together and always had a plan." Barbara explains. "And now, it's their turn to protect the city. That is, until the Pro Heroes came along."
"Alright, but why tell us all of this?" Aizawa questions.
"Because we wanted to see if you either of you four can be trusted. We take caution on to those we trust, and we don't trust anyone easily." Bruce answered seriously, leaving them, except Barbara, Ethan, and Eri, shocked. "Since the four of you wanted to know about Batman, it's decided that we trust you enough."
"But who else knows of your identity?!" Toshinori asked, buffed himself up.
"Edgeshot." Ethan answered. "He helped Bruce and Barbara in our training while keeping it a secret."
Toshinori, Nezu, Aizawa, and Naomasa were stunned that Edgeshot knows of their identity, and yet, kept it a secret from the Pro Heroes and the Government.
"They're telling the truth." Naomasa said. "There are no lies in their words."
"Why didn't you enroll at U.A High at the beginning of the exam?" Aizawa asks.
"Because the students have Quirks have what it takes to be a hero while the Quirkless stayed on the sidelines, watching the Pro Heroes do the work which it's something they all cared about. Some of the Pro Heroes wanted the attention for the greater good, while some does it for their selfish gains." Ethan explains. "We saw how Mt. Lady does that when she made her debut."
They couldn't help but cringe at that thought, but knew that he's not wrong.
"In other words, we've decided to train our kids for them to take up our mantles so they'll watch over the city and fight against those criminals." Barbara adds, adjusting her glasses. "That way, they won't become the Pro Heroes."
Toshinori, Nezu, Aizawa, and Naomasa began to understand why they trained them and become the next generation of the Bat family.
"I see, it's understandable." Nezu said, but decided to make a suggestion. "We'll be sure to keep it a secret, but in exchange, if possible, please have the others come to school tomorrow at 11:30. I will also be inviting most of the U.A. Staff members and a few other people at USJ."
Bruce, Barbara, Ethan, and Eri were skeptical about it, but seeing as Nezu wanted to know more of the vigilantes while keep it a secret, they decided to give them a confirm with a nod.
"Excellent, we'll see you then." Nezu said.
"Wait, I have one thing that I have in mind." Ethan told them. "There's something you need to see why the USJ was attacked in the first place."
Ethan then gained access to the security footage of U.A. High as Toshinori, Aizawa, Nezu, and Naomasa watches the footage. They noticed Tomura used his Quirk to destroy the gates while the media went inside of the entrance of U.A. High which it explains why, but noticed Yuga secretly made his way inside of the Principal's Office, gathered information of USJ.
"Aoyama...he did this?!" Nezu exclaims in disbelief. "And yet, he worked with the villains."
"I don't understand, why would he gave the information to the villains?" Naomasa questions.
"That's what we want to know, but Yuga should be heading home." Ethan told them, suited up. "He has the answers, and I want to know why."
"Let me come with you." Aizawa suggested, puts his goggles on. "You and the others did save mine, Thirteen, and the students life. I'm the teacher of Class 1-A. It's my responsibility to find out why Aoyama did it."
Batman usually goes alone mostly, but he sometimes team up with someone. Batman head towards the Batcycle while Aizawa decided to use the motorcycle as they ride out of the Batcave and head towards the city to find Yuga.
At the Musutafu City, Yuga was about to head home since he never tell anyone where he's hiding or working with the villains. Yuga was about to give a call about the plan has failed.
"A little late night rendezvous?" The voice of Batman asked, causing Yuga to yelp when he Dark Knight reveled himself with a brooding glare while Eraser Head binds his student with a binding cloth. Batman approaches Yuga as he grabbed the cell phone. "Listen, I want answers and I know you have it. Now you got 10 words. If I don't like it, you'll be handed to the police."
"Please! Don't kill me! I don't know anyone! I swear!" Yuga pleads in fear as Batman grabbed his collar.
"I know it was you who went to the Principal's Office a few days ago! You passed the information to Tomura!" Batman interrogates him. "Did you give the information to Tomura?! If you're lying, you'll be eating food through a straw!"
"N-No! I swear!" Yuga answered which both Aizawa and Batman aren't convinced.
Batman then slammed him down to the ground, making the Batcycle drive over to them and he uses the wheel to scare Yuga.
"Last chance! Did you give the information to Tomura?!" Batman growled. "Or else I'll let my bike run over your head."
He made the motorcycle slowly reverse, applying the pressure to Yuga's head. Yuga starts to scream out due to the pain and fear of the situation.
"Ok! Ok! Okay! I'll talk! I'll talk!" Yuga yelled as Batman stopped the Batcycle. "Yes! I pass the information to Tomura Shigaraki!? But he's not in charge!"
"Who else is in charge of leading those scumbags to USJ?" Eraser Head questions with a scowl.
"I-I don't know!" Yuga answered, but the Batcycle now applies pressure on his head. "It's All For One! It's All For One! He's in charge of the group of criminals called the League of Villains! He wanted me to work with him as a mole!"
"Work with them, why?" Aizawa asks.
"Because my family were forced to work with them in order to pay the debt we owe to All For One! And if we ever betray, then my parents will be killed!" Yuga shouts.
Both Batman and Eraser Head has enough information they need as he makes the Batcycle move away, causing Yuga to pull himself up.
"My parents are in huge debt because All For One gave me that Quirk when I was a child, he gave me the Navel Laser Quirk. It's true that I get a serious tummy ache, but there's also another, because of my incompatibility of the Quirk and the beam involuntarily leaked, they gave me a belt in order to prevent the beam leaking." Yuga continued. "In order to repay the debt, me and my parents are forced to work with All For One."
"And you know how it'll happen if you refuse." Batman said.
"I have no choice! If I don't, then the villains will kill them!" Yuga said, feeling guilty. "I don't know what to do, Batman! I want to become a hero, but after what I've done..."
Eraser Head didn't get him to finish his sentence when he placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Listen Aoyama, you may have made a bad choice and you'll always carry your sins forever, but you're a victim who carries out his orders." Eraser Head told him. "I don't teach any of my students to live a life burdened by guilt, and even if you feel ashamed, you must walk along with those who lend a hand."
Yuga was stunned, caught off-guard when Aizawa told him.
"He has a point. You need someone who can lend a hand." Batman agrees. "But Yuga, once we handed you over to the police, you tell them the same thing as you told us."
Yuga agrees with a nod as he passed them, heading home.
"Do you think he's telling the truth?" Eraser Head questions.
"After what he told us, there's no lie." Batman answered. "We got what we need. Commissioner Gordon will pick him up and have him questioned."
Eraser Head nods as they head back to the Batcave.
Back at the Batcave, after Ethan and Aizawa gave them an explanation, All Might, Nezu, and Naomasa were stunned of Yuga's actions, but Bruce, Barbara, and Eri weren't surprised after learning that Yuga is a double agent, working for the League of Villains. Nezu thanked them for the information as he, Toshinori, Aizawa, Naomasa, and Barbara left the Wayne Manor.
Ethan knew that there's going to be a meeting with U.A. faculty members along with Edgeshot and Mirko which they'll probably want answers. With no other options, Ethan decided to give them a call.
"What's up?" James asks when he heard the call.
"We have a situation." Ethan explains. "Nezu wants us to talk about what happened at USJ."
"What?! Why?!" Zachery exclaims.
"It's pretty obvious, Zachery. What we did at USJ and at the city, patrolling and fighting criminals." Zoey points out.
"That, and I gave them an explanation along with Bruce and Barbara." Ethan adds. "We wanted to give them the information and seeing if we can trust them."
"And if they're not?" Zoey inquires.
"Then, I'll use Project: Spotlight to reveal their identities if things get out of hand, but we'll see what happens first before we do anything." Ethan points out. "The only option we have is we come quietly and tell them everything, I mean everything."
"You sure that's a good idea?" Curtis questions.
"No, but the U.A. faculty members, even Nezu, wanted to gain our trust which it's something they need to earn. And if we want to work with them and help them beat those criminals, we don't have a choice but to give them answers." Ethan answered.
"Make sense." Sarah agrees.
"When do they want us to meet at U.A.?" Curtis asks again.
"Tomorrow at 11:30, don't be late." Ethan suggested, ending transmission.
The next day, the Bat family, Catwoman, Delta, and Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club were making their way to USJ, wearing their vigilante attire while thinking about the coming conversation they're going to have.
"So, we're really doing this?" Batgirl asks, feeling uncomfortable about this.
"We don't have a choice." Batman told her.
"Guess this is what happens when we save their asses back at USJ." Black Spider said when Tarantula and Signal nods with an agreement.
When they made it to the entrance of USJ, they saw a humanoid cement named Cementoss.
Cementoss appears to be a humanoid block of cement with black, seemingly shut eyes and gray hair tied into a short ponytail. His body shape is evenly blocky all around his body. His eyes are generally closed and his lips are pulled upwards. He wore a sleeveless brown suit that includes yellow stripes, shorts, and elongated collar. He also sports gray shoes with yellow soles.
"Ah, you're here." Cementoss said, seeing 10 vigilantes walking up to him. "We figured you'd be arriving, so I have your I.D.s here to let you through the entrance."
They gave him a nod.
"Now, please follow me." Cementoss suggested. "Everyone is waiting for us."
And with that, they entered inside of USJ.
As soon as they entered inside of USJ, the U.A. faculty members, Barbara, Naomasa, Mirko, Edgeshot, Death Arms, Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady, Fat Gum, Native, and the students in between Class 1-A and Class 1-B were waiting for them to arrive.
Vlad King is a very tall wide-set man of a bulky muscular build, with lightly tanned skin, a few visible scars showing on his left cheek and the left side of his notably thick neck. He has short pale gray hair which is spiked upwards, away from his face, the only exception to this being the small clump of hair which hangs down over the left of his forehead. His eyes are very small and thin, and he has a wide mouth with two prominent lower canines, which appear even when his mouth is closed. His costume consists of a dark red skin-tight suit with a very low U-shaped collar, which exposes the middle of his pectoral muscles and is lined with a thick black Y-shaped trim, which matches the ones over his shoulders. He wears white over the knee boots and thick vambraces over his lower arms, a thin wire snaking from one of the two small protrusions on the left one to the back of his neck, and red gloves. Around his waist, he has a three-piece metallic belt which dips downwards in the center, and he wears an orange mask over his eyes.
Power Loader is a short skinny man with a very youthful appearance. He has spiky ginger hair, reaching just past over his shoulders, and dull blue eyes, as well as a notably large mouth. His hands appear to be the largest part of his body, disproportional to his small frame, and has an orange L-shaped piece on each finger. His costume consists of a large yellow helmet in the shape of a rectangular excavator claw, the top piece of which protruding outwards to cover his head and most of his face, and the bottom piece left to act as something of a long jaw-guard. He leaves himself shirtless and also wears a pair of large, fingerless gray gloves with metal guards that extend down his arms, as well as a pair of cyan pants.
Ectoplasm is a tall slender man with short hair and completely blank eyes tilted inwards. Due to losing his legs, he uses prosthetic legs. His costume consists a tan cloak that covers most of his body, the area over his torso, and the high collar resembling that of a double-breasted trench coat. Underneath this, he wears a skin-tight black bodysuit with a golden striped neck area and a matching black helmet that covers his entire head, a jaw-guard attached over his nose and around his jaws, and circular mufflers. He also wears baggy dark gray pants.
The 10 vigilantes were slightly nervous from all of the Pro Heroes and the students staring at them.
"Ah, welcome, I'm glad you all were able to make it, but I don't see the Boondock Saints are with you." Nezu said.
"They're heading back to Ireland, after they got their bounty from the villains heads." Red Robin told him.
"I see, it's understandable." Nezu nods with an understanding. "Now, I would like to ask you all some questions if you wouldn't mind."
"That's fine, but anything personal, we just want to keep it private." Tarantula said.
"It's fine." Nezu confirms. "But still, we just like to ask some questions, nothing too personal."
"But first, there's something you need to do." Catwoman said, brings out her claws as she scratches Mineta in the face, causing him to cry in pain. "Keep that 'Prevy Grapefruit' on a short leash before I use him as my scratch post."
"Of course." Nezu said as Aizawa uses his binding cloth, pulls Mineta away from the vigilantes.
"Sorry about that, should've warned you that he's girl crazy." Aizawa apologizes. "Now with him out of the way, you can take off your masks to identify yourselves. And don't worry, we won't tell anyone, not even the Government."
The 10 vigilantes were a bit skeptical, but if they want to work together, they've got to trust them. With that, they took off their masks, revealing themselves which it got the students, including the U.A. faculty members and the Pro Heroes shocked when they saw their faces.
"My name is Ethan Wayne, I'm known as Batman." Ethan told them.
Pony, Ochaco, Tsuyu, Tenya, and Izuku were shocked that the Dark Crusader was actually Ethan Wayne.
Pony Tsunotori is a short girl with a round face and a short equine muzzle, her face framed by thick, wavy blonde hair which reaches halfway down her back, some shorter bangs hanging down her forehead. Her eyes are large and round, Prussian blue in color, and has a pair of tall, lyre-shaped pale tan horns on her head. Her calves are normally rounded, shaped similarly to those of a horse with brown hooves on her feet, and a short tail poking out from the end of her tailbone. Her costume is a horse-themed, wears a horse halter around her head with a lead rope dangling from the back, and her outfit resembles of a jockey uniform, consists of an orange skin-tight shirt with paler markings around her chest and stomachs, with matching-colored pants along with a pair of fingerless gloves. She wears belts secured around her collarbone, biceps, and lower torso, and boots that not only guard her hooves, but also have stirrups attached on either side.
"I'm Emily Gordon, known as Batgirl." Emily adds.
"I'm James Gordon, known as Red Robin and the brother of Emily." James adds.
A student named Itsuka Kendo looked at James Gordon which it got her blushed.
Itsuka Kendo is a girl of medium height and has a slim build. She has teal eyes and long orange hair that she typically wears tied into a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs are split into three clumps around her eyes, and some of her hair sticks up in a large tufts at the top of her head. Her costume consists a turquoise knee-length qipao, over which she has a black double-breasted corset, ending just below her breasts. She also sports black short pants under the qipao. She also wears a loose brown utility belt around her hips with a satchel attached at the back, a thin black domino mask around her eyes and white-heeled navy blue boots with wide vamps that reach down to her toes, filled in with white slips.
"My name is Lita Kyle, I go as Catwoman." Lita said with a smirk.
Mineta and Denki's face was pale as a sheet of paper, seeing Lita is beautiful, yet dangerous.
"I'm Tamao Oguro, I'm known as Delta." Tamao told them.
'No way! That's Tamao! She's Delta and the female version of John Wick?! That's badass and manly!' Eijiro and a student named Tetsutetsu mentally exclaims in shock.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu is a young man with quite long chin length, messy gray hair which it rather peculiar in that it never seems to change shape, and black eyes which are tilted dramatically inwards, each lined with a very thick, jagged, tan-colored substance, which are presumably his eyelashes. He doesn't appear to have any notable eyebrows, and he has rows of sharp, pointed teeth. His costume consists of a dark green jumpsuit, cut off just below his chest with some small, silver-rimmed holes in the lower section of his baggy pants and black boots with metal shoes, heels, and front plating. He has steel straps over his shoulders and under his arms, made up of multiple pieces, which connect at a red oval in the center of his chest with two thinner bands around his biceps and a small plate on either side of his waist. He wears a metal jaw-guard around his face, just thicker and not connected over his nose or his chin with letters 'Fe' stamped on a plate on each side of his face.
"My name is Curtis Needham, I'm known as Black Spider." Curtis told them with serious look on his face.
Midnight, Mt. Lady, and Mirko started to blush, staring at Black Spider, but glared at each other as sparks shoot out of their eyes. Though, it got Death Arms, Kamui Woods, Vlad King, and Aizawa annoyed.
"I'm Sarah Kane, known as Hawkfire." Sarah adds.
"I'm Zachery Fox, known as Batwing." Zachery adds.
Mina, Momo, and Setsuna couldn't help but blush when they looked at Zachery, but they glared at each other as sparks burst out of their eyes.
Setsuna Tokage is a young girl of average height who has surprisingly large, upturned dusky green eyes with long lower eyelashes, and notably long and pointed teeth. Her hair is a dark moss green, collectively reaching just below her shoulders aside from a short clump that hangs in the center of her forehead, and it grows wavier and thinner the lower down it gets. He costume consists of a purple, scaly mask over her eyes, a simple bodysuit with a matching design and black knee-high boots. She wears finger gloves with orange, three-piece-wrist-guards, and a belt around her waist with what it looks to be a jewel embedded into the center.
"Me llamo Zoey Flores, known as Tarantula." Zoey adds.
"And I'm Jared Thomas, known as Signal." Jared finished the introductions.
The U.A. faculty members, the Pro Heroes, and the students were completely shocked, caught off-guard that the 10 vigilantes were really the ones who saved them from the criminals by at USJ, and patrolling the city in Japan. However, Bakugo is enraged when he recognizes Ethan Wayne as he rushed after him with his hand raised.
"ETHAN! YOU BASTARD! TELL ME HOW DID YOU BECAME BATMAN!" Bakugo yelled at the top of his lungs.
Ethan quickly pulls out his flashbang pellet and throws it at Bakugo, causing him to grunt when the light flashes at his eyes. Ethan then pulls out a stun gun and shocked him right in his 'jewels', causing Bakugo to grunt and collapse down to the ground.
"Dammit!" Bakugo groans, holding his 'jewels' which it got Rikado, Eijiro, and Sero burst with a laugh.
However, Mina, Tetsutetsu, and a student named Togaru joins in when they started to laugh along with Mirko and Present Mic.
Togaru Kamakiri is a tall slender young man with pale yellow-green skin and a bright, fluffy green mohawk. His dark green eyes are pointed downwards to the center of his face, and two hooked blades jut out from either of his cheeks. He has no visible nose and the shape of his head resembles that of praying mantis with mandibles. His costume consists of a large dark green cloak, plain black trousers and three-toed boots. He has a mask around his eyes and a zig-zag pattern on his shirt.
Aizawa and Vlad King cleared their throats to get the attention, causing the students to stop.
"If we're done playing around, we're here for questions." Aizawa told them.
"Thank you." Nezu said.
"Now tell us, who manufactured those suits?" Vlad King asked first.
"Uh, we did." Emily answered simply. "But we got a little help to make some adjustments since these suits were usually theirs along with gadgets."
"Though, we usually bring in weapons to get the job done for the bounty." Zoey adds.
"Weapons? Gadgets? You mean those devices you used, you've made them yourself?" Power Load asks.
"Yes, we usually carry them with us whenever we get to either fight or capture those criminals." Ethan replied.
This surprised all of them, but they turned to Barbara and Naomasa.
"They're telling the truth." Naomasa said. "There's no lie in their words."
"Why didn't you came to U.A. and enrolled so can become a Pro Hero?" Present Mic asks.
"Is he always that loud?" Zoey asks in deadpan expression.
"You have no idea." Aizawa answered simply.
"Anyway to answer your question, because we don't have superpowers like any of you." Zoey explains. "All except Jared, he has superpowers that can use light and darkness."
"And no, you can't have him." Curtis adds. "The reason why...Jared is a metahuman."
"Metahuman, what's that?" Recovery Girl asks.
"A metahuman is a human with a genetic mutation, allowing them to have superpowers." Ethan answered.
"Fascinating! A metahuman that's similar to the ones who have Quirks." Nezu said with his eyes shining in stars.
"And most of you don't have any Quirks? None at all?" Snipe asks.
"No, we're not like Jared or any of you." Emily answered.
"But it might be better if we give you an explanation." Ethan told them.
After a long hour of explanation, the U.A. faculty members, the Pro Heroes, the students, and Naomasa were completely stunned with what they've heard. The Justice League were the independent heroes save countless lives from criminals known as the Legion of Doom, Doomsday, and Darkseid long ago, but many of the heroes, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Hal Jordan, and Aquaman were killed by the hands of the villains and Joker. The Justice League were the embodiment of what a true hero should be and have accomplished things that the Pro Heroes couldn't even dream of.
All Might was also stunned by this. Nezu, the Pro Heroes, and Naomasa had nothing but upmost respect for the past heroes.
"And now our story brings us here to the present." Ethan said. "Bruce and Barbara trained me, Emily, and James in order to take up their mantle and their legacy. And those you see have also decided to take up their mantles, but use them for good."
Everyone was now amazed by this. Those vigilantes will be the next generation of the greatest heroes they ever seen since All Might.
"Amazing! Truly amazing indeed!" Nezu said. "After what you've told us, those Justice League are the most interesting group of heroes I've heard."
"Yes, I also agree. The Justice League are true worthy of the title of heroes." All Might agrees.
"I still think it's pretty reckless idea to have a group of vigilantes roaming around to save the world." Vlad King said in a disapproval tone after hearing about the Justice League.
"In case you forgot, there weren't any laws about being a Pro Hero. And it's way before any of you came along." James points out.
"He's right, there's no law about being a Pro Hero and before our time." Midnight agrees.
"But man, it's freaky those aliens and villains they fought on daily basis." Present Mic committed.
"So, the Justice League are the group of independent heroes." Recovery Girl said.
"Even some who're quirkless can be heroes." Thirteen added.
"It's still hard to believe, but what Ethan told us are no lie." Naomasa said.
"Back to the main subject." Power Loader said. "I'm curious to hear about this Watchtower that was a base."
"The Watchtower is a space station orbiting the Earth that served as the headquarters of the Justice League." Ethan explains. "It was built after the 'Imperium' incident that the Earth was caught off-guard and didn't have the means to detect advance warning for the alien invasion. Bruce was able to seize that remark and contributed the Watchtower. Later, it's destroyed by the Thanagarians, but it's rebuilt as Watchtower ll years ago to expand it for the new members."
"The Watchtower! That's quite an incredible discovery!" Nezu said, learning an interesting discovery.
"To think something like that exists." Hound Dog said with awe.
"Now we began to understand why you want to keep it a secret." All Might confirms. "If a villain were to learn about it..."
"Then, they'll be using it for their evil purposes." Mt. Lady finished his sentence in grimace.
They didn't even want to imagine fighting against someone with knowledge about the Watchtower.
"Which is why we ask all of you to keep quiet about this to anyone, including the Government." Ethan suggested.
"You don't want the Government know about this?" All Might asks.
"I'll be completely honest here, I don't trust the Government." Ethan told him which it got them concerned. "While we know that it's important to the country and Hero Public Safety Commission, but the Watchtower has fallen into the wrong hands before. Luthor used it as a 'flashpoint' to discredit the League, taking the remote control and using it to fire down on Cadmus HQ, causing a mass destruction in the surrounding area."
"And we know how that goes when the Government are trying to use us for their selfish gain." Curtis adds. "You already get the ideas of what the Watchtower and what we can do. And the damage can be done it could cause if it goes any further."
They can understand what Black Spider was saying and can agree that it would be dangerous if the information about the Watchtower falls into the wrong hands. It's not that the vigilante group didn't trust anyone, they just don't want to be responsible for hurting civilians if word got out. They also don't trust the Government because they might get the wrong ideas about the Justice League.
"I-I can understand that..." All Might said, thinking about his Quirk and the damage it could cause as well if he doesn't pick the right person as his successor.
"Yes, something like this can't be shared to the public." Recovery Girl agrees.
"I also agree to this being kept secret." Naomasa also agrees.
"After hearing of the Justice League, it opened my eyes." Nezu said as his tone was grim with his eyes closed. "That there are heroes and villains beyond our knowledge, and that we are simply not nearly as we thought we were. If aliens or villains that became part as the Legion of Doom, I don't think we'll survive."
He then opened his eyes at the vigilantes.
"This is why I came with a proposition; the vigilante group will be allowed to fight against any threat that's too much for a Pro Hero to handle and we all will be working together, as either of you or the Justice League is not recognized by the Government." Nezu offered.
It got everyone, except Mirko, Edgeshot, and Barbara, shocked, even the vigilantes were caught off-guard by the bold move.
"Nezu, you can't be serious!?" Vlad King exclaims.
"Yeah, why?!" Thirteen adds.
"Oh, I'm serious about this, as a matter of fact." Nezu said with his usual smile. "But they're no ordinary heroes, they have the abilities and capabilities to fight against those villains and work as a team. They're carrying out the legacy of the Justice League, and I believe young Wayne and his group can handle the situation."
"That still doesn't make it right." Naomasa points out. "It goes against..."
"Detective, while it's true that it goes against the law, but with them and the Pro Heroes working together and fight against the villains, we might have a fighting chance." Barbara interrupts, making a valid point. "They'll be more than happy to help out in any way."
The vigilante group nods with an agreement, but Ethan spoke.
"But, we have a couple of conditions." Ethan said.
"Conditions?" Aizawa repeats with a glare. "Listen, Ethan, you and your group already being offended a unique chance, I don't think..."
"Name them." Nezu interrupts, waving his paw to stop him.
"We can only operate freely whenever we wish. We'd like to take over the situation if became too much for the Pro Hero to handle." Ethan suggested.
"I can agree to that." Nezu said. "But in addition, we will be needing information of what you've learned about those villains."
Ethan nods as he continued.
"Anymore conditions?" Nezu inquires.
"One more, is that both Hero Courses be tough together." Ethan answered. "Let me explain, I mean having the hero training exercises done together. While it's true that the classes can be separate, but that reason why is because neither of us like the Hero Society or the Pro Heroes of our era thread being a hero like it's some kind of a game."
This didn't go unnoticed by the heroes in the room and wanted to see what he was going to say next.
"Mostly heroes today don't even care about helping others, they're just doing this for money, fame, glory, or to stroke their own ego." Ethan continued in a serious tone. "They thread hero work like it's some popularity competition, and that's not how heroes are supposed to act. They're supposed to work together and not care about who gets the credit. The Justice League is proof that working together as a team is more effective than others, thinking for themselves instead."
"Now hold on just a minute! Heroes don't think like that, they he.."
"If I were you, I stop right there." Curtis warned him, aiming his M16 at Vlad King. "As he said, he said 'mostly', not all of them. Now back off!"
"He's not wrong." Midnight agrees, causing Mt. Lady to cringe. "Have you seen the news with most rookie Pro Heroes?"
"I agree too." Aizawa said, wasn't blind by how most heroes behaves.
"But still, combining the Hero Training Exercises into one?!" Vlad King protests. "It's a lot harder than you think, and..."
"I think it's doable." Nezu interrupts him again. "Plus, this will aid in building inter-class relations for future activities. Having isolation between classes is irrational when training to serve the good."
The students between Class 1-A and Class 1-B were shocked of Ethan's conditions, yet they're excited that they're going to work together for the training exercise. Even the Pro Heroes were excited to work together with the vigilante group when it comes to fight against the villains.
"Ethan Wayne, we accept your conditions." Nezu said as he and Ethan shook their hands.
That's it for the 14th chapter.
