My dear friends! Is it correct to say "tick" about Inuyasha's eyebrows? I mean they look like a check mark, but I don't like words "check mark" in the text, so I'm using "tick" instead. But I'm not sure you understand me correctly… tell me in the comment section, please!
Seagull
A seagull was sitting on a tree. It had been watching them for three days now, but this time it didn't fly away when Sesshomaru looked at it.
"Give me the half-breed, Inu-no-Taisho's puppy," sounded in his head.
"My name is Sesshomaru," the daiyoukai said coldly. "Who are you?"
"Give me the hanyou. In exchange, you will receive the Kaigara naginata."
"Myth."
"You who walk the earth know nothing of Kaigara. This weapon doesn't belong to you. But if you give me the hanyou, my mistress will raise the naginata from the bottom of the sea."
"Who is your mistress?"
At this point, ears poked out curiously from the doorway.
"Who are you talking to, onii-san?"
"To the house, Inuyasha."
"I won't touch him. Sazae-oni respected your father, the dog general. She will help you to get rid of the hanyo, and in addition, she will give you the naginata."
Sesshomaru didn't listen any further — he cut down the branch on which the seagull was sitting with his claws, and the bird, screaming, soared upward — into the dusty gray sky. The older brother turned around — of course, Inuyasha's ears were still poking out of the doorway.
"So who was that, huh? You weren't talking to yourself, were you?.. Ouch!"
Inuyasha rubbed the bump between his ears offendedly. Then the granny finally came out of the forest, carrying a basket on her back. She looked tired, and the sun was setting.
"Found everything. Had to stay late, but..."
"Inuyasha is staying here."
Without explaining anything, Sesshomaru pushed off the ground and soared into the air. The branches of the nearby trees swayed, shaking off the snow, the granny fell back on the basket.
"Wha-a-at?!" Inuyasha's displeased cry flew after him, but didn't reach his brother's back. The daiyoukai very quickly turned into a dot, and then completely disappeared behind the clouds.
The granny gasped and stood up, rubbing her bruised back. She slowly, hunched over, approached the frozen boy and patted him on the head. Inuyasha's eyes were shining, and his eyebrows formed an angry, stubborn tick.
"Well, what should we do with you... At least help me collect some roots, silly puppy."
