This is the 22nd chapter. I don't own the series of My Hero Academia or the series of Justice League.

BrianShooter672: Well, all I can is it depends. But as for the other question, yeah, because some Pro Heroes just won't learn.

Shadow Joestar: It won't be the first time, won't be the last, either.

Meeting, Unlikely Alliance

While the Bat Family, Task Force X, the Todoroki brothers, Red X, Catwoman, and Delta are making their way to the Police Station, Red Hood turns on the intercom from the motorcycle. It got Jason surprised that Ethan, Emily, and James were able to update his and Nightwing's bike while doing some adjustments and upgrades along with the suit which it got him and Dick impressed. However, both Dick and Jason are gonna need some information since they've encountered the Nomus and the League of Villains.

"So, mind fill us in about those 'Nomus'?" Red Hood suggests. "As far as I know, me and Grayson had missed a lot of action."

"Nomus are also known as the Artificial Humans. They're the undead individuals who can use multiple Quirks and act as mindless minions for the League of Villains." Batman explains. "The reason is they were created from human corpses whose bodies were drastically altered in order to make them stronger and allow them to hold more than one Quirk."

"We've encountered these guys along with the Nomu back at the USJ." Delta adds.

"USJ? That sounded like Universal Studios Japan." Nightwing states.

"Yeah, we thought so too. But it stands Unforeseen Simulation Joint. Basically, it's a training facility for disaster rescues." Red Robin points out. "Though, the League of Villains turned it into a battlefield, but we were able to stop them, with a little help from the Boondock Saints and the Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club, along with the other heroes."

Both Nightwing and Red Hood confirms with an understanding.

"Me and Dad have encountered them before and one of the Nomu name Number 6 was one of them back at the Villains Factory." Delta explains. "He's one of the special cases because he can modify his body to gain physical prowess and endurance which he can tolerate the pain. We were lucky that we killed him since he's beyond human."

"It sounded like you and your old man have fought them before." Red Hood states.

"That's because they did." Batman points out, showing the information to his team. "According to the files, the Villain Factory were the group of individuals responsible for creating the Instant and Next-Level Villains, in order to create an experiment that can rival All Might."

"Sounds about right, considering those League of Villains have causing many criminal activities." Nightwing agrees. "But according to this, All For One is involved around in between the Villains Factory and the Underground Masquerade. This is dated back for only 3 years ago."

"There's no doubt that he is, but Kyudai was also the one creating those monsters." Delta points out.

"Who?" Nightwing asks.

"Kyudai Garaki is a scientist who created those monsters while working with the League of Villains and All For One." Batgirl explains when Batman shows the image of Kyudai. "His Quirk is called Life Force, it grants him to extend his lifespan and a young appearance. He's only over 120 years old."

"120? No wonder he doesn't get out much." Red Robin states.

"And he looks like Dr. Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons." Red Hood adds. "Except for the undead part."

"But according to the files, Kyudai is working at the medical facility called the Jaku General Hospital while using his name, 'Dr. Tsubasa' which it's mostly for his cover and as an excuse to create more Nomus." Catwoman told them. "The Pro Heroes may or may not know about it since they're too busy making a fool of themselves by all this crap."

"Damn...sounds like the world has gone to shit and the Pro Heroes have forgotten what being a hero is all about." Nightwing states.

"Yeah, pretty much." Batman agrees. "Anyway, after we give Nezu an explanation about ourselves and the Justice League, the U.A. Faculty members and the students have decided to make an alliance with us, along with some of the Pro Heroes."

"Like who?" Red Hood inquires.

"Edgeshot, Mirko, Death Arms, Kamui Woods, Ingenium, and Mt. Lady." Batman answered simply.

"It may not be much, but it's enough for them to keep it a secret from everyone, including the HSPC and the Government." Robin adds.

"Yeah, I get what you mean. Dealing with these guys is a pain in the ass." Red Hood states.

"That and don't forget, Amanda Waller didn't trust us either because she's in charge of the Project Cadmus long ago." Nightwing told his team. "Though, it didn't take long for Bruce and Question to gather evidence that points Luthor hording a massive amount of Cadmus tech for his own use."

"Guess the list goes on after the League has gone through." Batgirl said.

"Yep." Nightwing replied, changing the subject. "But we should be heading to the police station to get some answers about why the Task Force X are here, League of Villains, and the Nomus."

However, going on at the same time as the Bat Family, Task Force X, Catwoman, and Delta were meeting up with Nikita and Barbara at the police station, the League of Villains were at work. In the Kamino ward in Yokohama City, there was an abandoned bar that served as the main hideout.

It was in this bar where Shigaraki was hiding out. He was currently sitting on a stool at the bar's counter. Behind the counter was Kurogiri, was sitting at one of the tables. Behind them was a TV that had the words 'Sound Only' on its screen. And in front of them was the Hero Killer: Stain.

Stain in an intimidating, muscular man who walks with a distant hunch and has a flat, somewhat triangular face without a nose, which he removed himself, and a long tongue tainted with numerous small papillae. He has long black hair which he wears messily, it would drape over his face, and small red eyes with tiny irises. He wore a dark combat suit, plated with metal armor across his body to holster his weapons. The torso is sleeveless, so he wraps his arms in yellow bandages from just below his shoulders to his wrists. He also wears long black wristbands and a watch on his left arm, and his knees are protected with metal pads; black boots with steel armor complete the costume. He always dons his signature blood-red scarf, matching headband, and the tattered cloth he wears around his face as a mask. He carries five knives and a worn katana.

"Now I get it, you must be the ones who attacked UA." Stain said with a scowl, looking at both Shigaraki and Kurogiri with disgust. "You wanna recruit me to build up your little group again."

"Yeah. It'll be great, you've got so much experience." Shigaraki answered.

"And what's your mission?" Stain inquires.

"For now? I really just wanna kill All Might. I like to destroy anything that pisses me off." Shigaraki said as he pulled out a small stack of photos.

The first one showed Izuku Midoriya, who won the Obstacle Race.

"Like this little brat here. Game over." Shigaraki said, then pulls out the photos in between the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta. "And these here, they're the cause of disrupting my plans at UA."

This, however, caused a reaction that was nothing like what the two were expecting.

"I was a fool to think you could offer me anything. It turns out, you're the type of person I hate most in the world." Stain growled out in complete disgust and hatred, leaving them confused and shocked as he grabs two of his knives. "The goals of your 'league' are those of a child. What meaning is there to killing if you don't have real convictions?"

'The Hero Killer: Stain. Tomura Shigaraki cares only about wanton violence. So, we brought this man in to guide him. Perhaps we made a mistake.' Kurogiri mentally thought when Stain draws out his knives, about to act fast. "Master, should I step in?"

"Let it happen." All For One replied. "It's possible this is the only way he'll learn anything. He needs to think about the ways he must grow. How he can mature? Only then will he reach his potential."

At the police station, the Task Force X, the Bat Family, the Todoroki brothers, Red X, Catwoman, and Delta were inside at the conference room where Nikita, Barbara, Bryan, Emilia, King Shark, and Kenji arrived, but it got their attention when they saw the Director of A.R.G.U.S. entered inside.

"Nikita Waller?" Batman said with a brooding glare, but respectfully.

"Batman, or should I say, Ethan Wayne." Nikita said with a smirk. "You're not the only one who does your homework. I know all of your identities by looking through the files from moms and learned a thing or two about you."

The Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta readied themselves for a fight since she knew their identities.

"Calm down, I have no intention of using the method as a leverage. I'm nothing like mom when she met Bruce Wayne more than once and using that method against him and the group of heroes." Nikita assures them. "While it's understandable that neither of you trusts me because I'm Amanda's daughter and forming a new team. But just to assure you, I only keep the criminals on a short leash and have them remain in prison for as long as it takes."

The Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta can tell that Nikita is being sincere and serious about the criminals remained in prison while never using them as expendables to reduce their sentences.

"What the Director is telling you guys is true, there's no lie about it." Emilia told them.

"But that don't mean we can trust any of you guys." Nightwing remarked.

"That remains to be seen." Deathstroke told him. "True that the first Suicide Squad hasn't been on good terms with the League, but this is gonna be different."

Nightwing just scowled at Deathstroke since he knows about his grandfather's actions and encountered him.

"And what makes you think it'll be different, considering that some of you guys are a bunch of pricks?" Red X inquires, causing Deadshot to give him a middle finger gesture.

"Like getting your ass handed to us if you're not careful." Peacemaker remarked.

"That's enough!" Kenji shouts, earning their attention. "While it's understandable that neither of you trust each other, but there will be no transgression here in this building. Is that an understood?"

They knew that the Chief of the Police was being serious about it, and knows that he's right as they turned to each other with a glare. Kenji and Barbara can take that a sign as they understands, but they can tell that neither of them are gonna like it.

"Now with that in mind, I believe a meeting is in order. Woof!" Kenji suggests. "The first was the USJ attack a months back. There were quite a number of villains who attacked along with the one that's called 'Nomu'."

"What did you find out?" Batman inquires.

"We've run into some DNA tests on the remains of the Nomu. Which the most of you are aware that the Nomu is created from the human corpses, almost like we're facing the undead that was from Bruce's previous cases." Barbara explains, showing the mugshot of a normal-looking man. "This is what we discovered of the identity of the ashes: He used to be a low-level thug with a record of assault and extortion."

"No surprise about it since Kyudai was the one who created those Nomus." Delta states. "Dad and I have encountered those monsters countless times. We've also learned that the Nomus can have more than one Quirks."

"Yes, but here's something you're missing. Our reports show that he's been altered drastically." Barbara told her. "When we analyzed a genetic makeup, we discovered there are four different people's DNA."

"Whoa, Kyudai created the Nomu by combining more than one Quirk?!" Deadshot exclaims in shock. "That's nuts!"

"And by the sound of it, he's not even human anymore." Rick states with a ponder.

"The transformation is a result of drugs and other experimentations." Barbara explains. "To oversimplify a bit, he's been modified so that his badly is able to hold multiple Quirks at once. The process of power is lacking and comes to a burden for the cause."

"And the only one who can hold more than one Quirk while transferring to that to the other person: All For One." Delta said with a serious scowl.

"Given the evidence and what you've learned, it's a reasonable conclusion." Barbara replied. "Which is why I have all of you here to give the information you need."

They are beginning to understand about how Nomu was created besides Kyudai's experiments and the downsides of the process. Barbara then showed the files of the Hero Killer: Stain.

"This file contains the information you and your team needs, after learning of your arrival, Director." Barbara told her, slides the file next to her as Nikita looks through the information. "While I don't simply trust you or your team, but it would seem that we all share a common enemy."

"Sounds like it." Savant agrees. "But after learning of his current whereabouts before the incidents in Japan, we decided to come here to look for Stain. Though, we noticed a couple of angry mob along the way."

"Yes, we noticed and it's all over the media." Kenji said. "The HPSC are still dealing with the civilians, considering the number of the Pro Heroes we've lost because of the Riddler."

"Riddler, that doesn't surprise us that he's still alive after all these years." Deadshot said with a glare. "It's no wonder that he kept himself hidden."

"Yeah, he kept himself hidden in decades while waiting for the opportunity to reveal himself." Red Robin agrees.

"But all that matters is he's been held in prison along with the Court." Nikita told them, changing the subject. "We should be focusing on is what's in front of us, like the Hero Killer. We know that he'll be striking on Hosu City again, but after learning of him vanished, it has something to do with a Quirk that can teleport."

"If you're talking about Kurogiri, then yeah, he has that Quirk." Catwoman points out. "His Quirk is called Warp Gate, it grants him the ability to create and manipulate a dark fog from head to hands. The fog can produce when it comes to teleportation and comes to contact with his current location."

Nikita then gives her a nod with an understanding since they've encountered the League of Villains at USJ.

"But the question is where exactly?" Nikita questions.

"That's just it, we don't know." Batgirl answered. "We've been patrolling around in Japan to keep an eye on the civilians while taking care of the criminals. Other than that, it's like we're in a middle of wild goose chase."

"She's right, with the League of Villains and Stain on the move, there's no telling where." Bloodsport agrees. "But we do know that Stain will be back where he left off, starting around in Hosu City."

"And that's where we'll be heading, but I think it's best that we head out by tomorrow." Nikita suggested. "Since we got off to a bad start due to the team interfering with each others work while try to find Stain, it'll be best that we do it tomorrow."

"And I expect all of you to work together instead of fighting each other, the last thing we want is having all of you making a scene between the civilians and the Pros captured you all." Kenji adds. "Do we have an agreement?"

The Bat Family, the Todoroki brothers, Task Force X, Red X, Catwoman, and Delta are now looking at each other with a serious look on their faces. Though, they may not have good terms with each other because the previous group of heroes hated each other, but one thing they do have in common is the same enemy their looking for. With reluctance, both Batman and Deathstroke shook their hands.

"Once Stain is captured, we won't be seeing each other again." Batman said with a glare.

"Wouldn't have it any other way." Deathstroke agreed. "But let's not get our hopes up if we see each other again."

And with the meeting has reached to a conclusion, the team then left the police station so they can look for Stain by tomorrow.

Meanwhile back at the abandoned bar, Stain has pinned Shigaraki down against the wooden floor with his knife next to his neck and the other stabbing his shoulder. Kurogiri was told not to intervene by All For One, watching the scene with a nervous look on his face. Also, Kurogiri couldn't react in time when Stain moved at unimaginable speed in the blink of an eye and bested him before the fight could begin. Kurogiri was hit in the shoulder and bleeding.

"So, you want me to be a part of your crumbling little league? But you won't accomplish anything if you don't have conviction and desire." Stain told him, staring at Shigaraki in the eyes. "Without those, you'll always be an aimless weakling, achieving nothing. That's how you got here."

"Hey now, you're being a little rough, aren't you?" Shigaraki grunted in pain, panted heavily and realizing that he made a grave mistake in trying to recruit him. "Kurogiri, take this guy back."

"I-I'm sorry, I can't move. It must be the Hero Killer's Quirk at work." Kurogiri said in pain as his blood stained his left sleeve.

"The word 'hero' is lost all meaning in this society. The world is overrun by fakes and criminals like you who chase petty dreams. They must all be purged." Stain said, about to start cutting into Shigaraki's throat.

But then, Shigaraki grabbed the edge of the knife.

"Hey now...what do you think you're doing? If you touch this palm..."

He then proceeded to use his Quirk, making the blade crack while breaking down.

"...I'll kill you."

Stain's eyes widen in slight shock, seeing Shigaraki's Quirk destroyed his knife by making it rust in a matter of milliseconds before it crumbled away into dust.

"You sure talk a lot 'Hero Killer'. Conviction? Maybe I don't have anything as loaded as that. If I choose a desire, though...Yeah, it'd be killing All Might. If this world wants to worship trash like him, I'll destroy their beloved Symbol of Peace, and then crush them while they're in shock!" Shigaraki exclaimed with a psychotic smile on his face.

He reached out to grab Stain's face, but the Hero Killer jumped away. Stain drew another dagger and prepared to fight against Shigaraki.

"The last of my injuries was finally about to healing and I have to use an ice pack to heal my balls, and now this. You should learn not to play with knives. We don't have a healer in our party, you know." Shigaraki said after getting up off the floor.

His right shoulder was bleeding, and he's angrily scratching his neck, glaring at Stain.

"I see your nature." Stain said in disgust, leaving Shigaraki confused. "It seems our goals fundamentally oppose each other. However, this wasn't in vain. We agreed that we need to destroy the present."

"I'm over this." Shigaraki growled in frustration. "Leave, drop dead. I'm the kind of person you hate most, right?"

"I was testing your motives. People always show their true colors when on the verge of death. It's abnormal, but there is desire, a warped sprout of conviction, inside of you. How will it bloom in the end, I wonder." Stain said with his arms stretched out as Shigaraki glares at him. "Maybe I'll let you grow. If you don't turn out well, I'll take care of you later."

"You think you could get rid of me?" Shigaraki questioned.

"I'm free." Kurogiri said, felt himself being able to move.

"Kurogiri, someone as crazy as this would be nothing but a problem for the League of Villains." Shigaraki told him.

"Please reconsider." Kurogiri said. "This man will be a great asset if he joins us. I'd say this was a success."

"My business here is done. Now, you will return me to Hosu." Stain said, before licking his lips with a bloodthirsty grin. "There are still several false Heroes I must attend to there."

At the same time, both Tenya and Tesei were coming back from the patrol while teaming up with Manual, known as Masaki Mizushima.

Masaki is a man with messy brown hair and black eyes. His hero costume consists of a blue and white skin-tight, long-sleeved shirt that tucks into his orange gloves. He wears dark pants, white boots, and sports a signature helmet that features a fish-like fin and blue visor.

"Well, the nice thing about having the whole city on alert is that no villains will dare come out." Masaki said, took off his helmet with relief while walking out of the office.

"Oh, yeah. Sure." Tenya said in a dismissive way, setting his helmet on the table and taking off his glasses. "Still no sign of Ethan and the others, hoping they'll get here on the next day."

"They've already had, Tenya." Tensei said, earned his attention when he took off his helmet. "I saw him and Robin at the alley where I was attacked. I was about to greet them, but the other vigilantes were here."

"Why is that?" Tenya questions.

"Normally, I would intervened whenever they get to fight, but they're arguing over for whoever gets to Stain first." Tensei explains. "But after the heated argument stops, they're at the police station hours ago."

Tenya was surprised, but it got him wondering if it has something to do with the connection between the murder of the Pro Heroes and the injured by Stain. Both Tenya and Tensei were investigating at the previous crime scenes in Hosu City. There were seven places that Stain's appeared in so far, he always injured at least 4 Pro Heroes. Maybe there was reason for that, but the evidence itself was beginning to look too much for it to be a coincidence.

Whenever they get a chance to find the Bat Family, Catwoman, and Delta, they'll be teaming up while finding Stain.

The next day at Hosu City, the Bat Family, Task Force X, Todoroki brothers, Red X, Catwoman, and Delta were patrolling in different routes as Nikita ordered her team while Emilia remained with her for surveillance. King Shark however was patrolling on the ground which he's standing out too much because the civilians felt intimidated of his appearance, but mostly his teeth.

"Director, everything is quiet here. No sight of Stain or the League of Villains." King Shark informed her.

"Stain is waiting to strike, like a predator stalking his prey." Nikita told him. "Even criminals strikes at night which happens to be right now."

"Well after learning about the Boondock Saints traveling for bounties and the Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club at Gotham City, they're probably scared shitless." Deadshot states, holding his Customized AR-15. "Though it didn't surprise that the Pros and the trainees are still worrying about their reputation instead of the city."

"Don't forget that the civilians are losing trust to the Pros, which it got me wondering if they're trusting us." Delta said. "I get it the police trust us, but the civilians is another story."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet, you guys. Just because the Pros lost their trust, doesn't mean they're not given up on capturing you." Emilia warned them. "I've got something."

"What's the problem?" Nightwing asks.

"There were only 3 Nomus around Hosu, and Stain is making his move. I'll give you the coordinates." Emilia informed them, given them the coordinates.

And with that, the Bat Family, Task Force X, Catwoman, and Delta split up as some of the groups go after the numbers of Nomu while the other goes after Stain.

At the train station, both Gran Torino and Izuku were traveling at this late of night and the train won't arrive until later.

"So, um, this train isn't going to get there until pretty late. Are you sure that's okay?" Izuku questions.

"That's why I picked it. There'll be more skirmishes, so it'll be much more fun!" Gran Torino replied as he laid back against the seat.

"Maybe we just have different ideas about what fun is." Izuku said with his face pale and a sweat drop as he pulled out his phone, turned it on.

"You kids these days, you're constantly buried in your cell phones!" Gran Torino said.

Izuku just ignoring him while looking through his message with Tenya. He texted him a few minutes ago to let him know that the pair were traveling through Hosu, but he hadn't replied. But he has read the message. Izuku was sure it didn't take Tenya more than three minutes to reply back.

Izuku set the phone down and looked out the window. They're almost at Hosu Station.

"Hey, did you see that?! A building just exploded!"

Soon as they heard about the building, both Gran Torino and Izuku along with the civilians turn towards the window he was looking out of.

"What's the ruckus?" Gran Torino asked, looked behind.

"Some kind of fire?" Izuku guessed.

"Passengers: Please hold on to your seats..."

Suddenly, the train was shaken when something came crashing through the train car, making everyone scream and panic. It turned out to be a Pro Hero, who crashed against the train and made a hole at the side of the train. The Nomu revealed itself and slamming the Pro Hero down.

Until, the bullet shot the Nomu in the head, causing it to collapsed against the wall...dead.

Deadshot was able to shot at a long range distance, pleased of his shot.

"1 down, 2 to go." Deadshot said, turns on his communicator. "Emilia, any idea who sending them?"

"Isn't it obvious? The League of Villains are making their move, and I don't think Stain made an agreement." Batman points out. "Deadshot, you, Katana, and Ronin are to track Shigaraki and Kurogiri, they're the ones who send those Nomus here."

"Why should I take orders from you?!" Deadshot remarked.

"Just shut up and do it already!" Delta shouts through the communicator, causing Deadshot to cringe. "We'll handle these clowns! You go and track them down!"

Deadshot ends the transmission as he, Katana, and Ronin starts looking for Shigaraki and Kurogiri.

And with that, the group of vigilantes are hunting the Nomus while the other group goes after Stain before he'll kill anymore of the Pro Heroes.

That's it for the 22nd chapter.
