*bang bang bang* Oh hello, the plot bunny army is still overwhelming me. Anyway I'd like to take this moment to bring up a fun fact about my creation process.
90% is planned ahead.
2% is adaptions made to new reveals in canon
3% is from fan suggestions
5% is made up as I go along
Why am I bringing this up you ask? Because there will be 2 things that happen in this chapter that I had just thought of right before I started writing this chapter.
One of them is gonna be the beginning, or rather continuation of what will now be an over-arching plot point.

Chapter 3: Scars

Dante woke up with a gasp.
"Shh it's okay you're safe now," said a female voice which he recognized as Queen.
Dante pulled himself off the bed and saw Thorne as well, he picked up Sweet Revenge and gritted his teeth.
"I know what you're thinking," said Thorne, "And I swear I had nothing to do with what happened."
"It's true," said Queen, "He was trying to dig you out when I arrived."
"Where's Marko," said Dante snarling, "I'll kill that bastard."
"And look where that got you," said Thorne, "Face it you lost, you are beaten and broken, I'm not sure I could have pulled you out in time without your friend here. Look let's just cut our losses and go home, leave this hellhole behind."
"Not before I kill Marko," said Dante.
"Please Dante," said Queen, "There is no shame in leaving when you're defeated."
Dante just turns to Queen with a dead look on his face. "If I leave now and let that bastard go after what he just did, I will not be able to move on ever."
Queen's eyes just have tears flowing through them at the dead and broken look in Dante's expression.
"I can't tell you where you find him," said Thorne before sighing, "But I know who can."
Dante looked at Thorne still with his dead expression.
"Ford," said Thorne, "He's Marko's second in command and currently at the tavern."
Dante grinned manically, "Well that's convenient I intended to kill him too. I what they say about me is true, I do have the devil's own luck."
With that he went out the door not noticing Queen Twitch at that last part.
Hazbin Hotel Present day
Vaggie was going downstairs to make some coffee while Charlie was taking a shower. Turned out she didn't need to as someone had beaten her to it. As she poured herself a cup she heard someone playing guitar in the lobby, she went there and saw it was Dante, but she was mostly noticing the song he was now singing.

As Dante finished his guitar last guitar notes Vaggie just stared in aw. But there was something else. She could feel pain from this song.
"I didn't know you could play," she said to avoid making it look like she was staring at him.
"I also cook," said Dante, and for a second she thought he was joking, but then she remembered something, "I was wondering who made the coffee," she said taking another sip of said coffee. "Nice song by the way."
"It's one I made after Frosthill," said Dante as his hand started to shake again.
There was that name again, Frosthill, what the hell happened here to make this juggernaut that Alastor is wary of traumatized.
She still remembered what he said to Balthazar yesterday about pain being something he learned to live with.
She looked as the scar on his shoulder, or rather his most recen scar as since his jacket was at Alastor's tailor, his arms were more visible and covered in all kinds of scars... and I mean ALL kinds.
But she knew not to ask, if he was willing to take a bullet for her he's trustworthy enough.
"Ah I see you are both up," said Alastor behind Vaggie who jumped but managed to saver her coffee... her precious... whoa that was a weird thought where the fuck did that come from?
"Dante, your coat should be back right about," said Alastor as he pulled out a pocket watch only for Nifty to fly through the window, "now, perfect timing Nifty."
"He's your coat bad boy," she said. Why does she call him this, well it involves their first conversation.
2 days ago
"So are you a bad boy?" Nifty asked after introducing herself to Dante.
"Well Nifty, that is a matter of perspective for example, to someone like my mentor Steven Randall, I'm a good boy, *mutter* maybe too good a boy based off of his reactions to me sparing some of Marko's men *mutter* but to people like Caesar's Legion I would indeed be a bad boy, so like I said it's all a matter of perspective," explained Dante.
Nifty just stood there with eye widened and her mouth open (Think the face she made when Vaggie tried to record her).
"Um Nifty?" said Dante concerned.
Nifty just kept staring.
"Guys I think I broke her," said Dante.
Husk spit his drink, "Well damn I didn't even know that was possible," he said.
Present
Dante put his coat back on as he prepared to leave outside to look for Steven Randall again, considering he was interrupted yesterday.
"Hey Dante," Vaggie said, "While you're out could you keep an eye out for Angel Dust? As much as I don't care for him he is still the hotel's only guest, and well he didn't come home last night. It would look bad if something happened to him."
"Of course," said Dante giving a two fingered salute. He was quite fond of the porn star anyways, as he reminded him a bit of Johnny Matheson. Maybe not as tough, but just as sarcastic, but also more flirty. And other qualities he'd prefer not to think about, he still has nightmares about that moment despite it being a moment from his foggy past.
Some time later
You'd think a masked cowboy would stand out but nope his old mentor was very hard to find. As we walked down an alley he suddenly heard a voice.
"Well well," said an imp appearing from the wall with a grin, "Funny running into you here Dante."
"It's been a long time," said Dante before turning to face the imp, "Blitz."
"I'd say we have a lot of catching up to do," said the now named Blitz clenching his fist.
"I couldn't agree more," said Dante clenching his own fist.
They proceeded to swing their fists at each other...
Only to fist bump, "How have you been you son of a bitch?" said Blitz.
"I don't think I've seen you since that incident at the NCR Embassy," said Dante.
"You mean when you blew that Brookshire asshole's brains out? In front of 20 witnesses?! I'm still surprised you weren't shot or arrested there!" said Blitz grinning.
"People know I don't kill people for know reason, our heated arguement probably helped, oh and an investigation into him revealed he was in bed with the Syndicate," said Dante.
"Those mafia looking jokers? Well damn," said Blitz, "Anyway what brings you to hell? Because you don't seem dead."
"One of teleportation gadgets malfunctioned," said Dante, "ended up hear."
"Well I could help you get back, always up for helping an old friend," said Blitz.
"Oh right I suppose you would have a way back to the living world, otherwise we wouldn't have met in... Frosthill," said Dante his hand shaking at the mention of that name, "But I'll have to decline for now, I'm on a job for Charlie Morningstar right now, looking for guests for that hotel of hers, I don't believe in leaving jobs unfinished."
"Wow helping royalty moving up in the world huh?" said Blitz.
"I actually had someone in mind," said Dante, "My old Mentor Steven Randall."
"Wait did you say Steven Randall?" asked Blitz surprised, "He was actually our client for that job Six years ago, oh that reminds me," he pulled out a wad of cash and handed to Dante, "Here's your cut, I know you weren't expecting to get paid for that, but when Randall heard you killed the targets for us he gave us a bonus for poetic justice," as Dante accepted the cash Blitz continued, "Anyway I might have his contact info somewhere and I can give it to you once I find it."
"That would be great thanks Blitz," said Dante as Blitz pulled out his hellphone.
"Hey Loony," said Blitz in a tone Dante wasn't expecting from him, then again their time together wasn't even that long they just made a big impression on each other, "Hey could you do me a favor? Could you look up the contact info of one of old clients? It would be from six years ago. Why? Well because Dante is here and wants to see him. Yes that Dante the one from the Frosthill job, er sorry Dante, what? Okay sure I'll ask him. Just remember to find that contact info. Okay love you sweetie bye."
"My Daughter," Blitzo explained after hanging up, "By the way she wants to meet you, she's quite a fan."
"Sure," said Dante, "How about when you find the contact info so I have a reason to visit."
"Well how about we catch up on a drink, it's from six years ago so it might take a while," said Blitz as he and Dante decided to find a bar.
Later
As they were walking through pentagram city Dante saw something and decided to get a closer look. His one eye widened as he saw what, or rather who it was.
"Oh shit! Angel!" he shouted as sure enough Angel Dust was lying unconscious on the ground. He checked angel using his medical training and saw he overdosed. He was freaking out as for a moment he wasn't looking at Angel Dust but at a young Johnny Matheson. He pulled out a fixer and injected it into the pornstar and he started to cough.
"Angel are you alright?" he asked but Angel was still Delirious.
"I'm calling Charlie," said Dante pulling out his hellphone only for Angel to grab his arm.
"No," said Angel in a Raspy voice, "I don't want worry her, she's done enough for me."
Dante sighed, "Well we can't stay here out in the open do you have a friend you can trust that I can bring you to while you recover?"
"*cough* Cherri... Bomb *cough*" Angel managed to gasp out.
"Cherri Bomb," said Blitz sweating nervously, "Is there really nobody else?" he asked, which caused Dante to look at him coldy.
"Sigh okay I know where she is," said Blitz marking the location on Dante's pip-boy while muttering, "I swear if this guy wasn't clearly your friend I'd be walking the other way."
With the location in his pip-boy Dante carried Angel to this Cherri Bomb with Blitz in tow.
Later
They arrived at a warehouse and Dante had his arms full carrying Angel, so Blitz had to knock on the door to his dismay.
"Hey how's it going... oh... what do you want Blitzo?" said the cyclops woman before dropping her smile.
"Believe me I'd rather be anywhere else," said Blitz, "But my friend here insisted on coming here."
Cherri glanced where Blitz was pointing and noticed Dante and Angel in his arms and her eye widened, "Oh shit! Angie! What happened?!" she shouted.
"He overdosed," said Dante with worry in his voice.
Cherri gestured them inside, even Blitz though she did so reluctantly, and Dante laid Angel on her couch before pulling out a cigarette lighting it.
"What happened?" asked Cherri.
"Wish I knew I just found him lying down, I recognized the signs of overdose so I gave him a dose of Fixer," said Dante.
"I'm sorry what?" asked Cherri.
"Oh right," said Dante, "Fixer is a unique drug from my Earth that purges the body of any toxins and even remnants of toxins. In simpler terms it cures addictions," he explained.
"Well damn I can see why Angel speaks highly of you Dante," said Cherri whom Dante guessed heard his name and description from Angel, "I could have done without Blitzo though."
"Yeah? Well fuck you too Cherri!" shouted Blitz, "I swear if Angel wasn't clearly Dante's friend I'd be long gone, maybe come back just to ram a truck through your fucking wall!"
"I'm sorry what..." Dante began before Cherri chimed in, "We used to date," she said with a deadpan expression.
"Ah," said Dante like that explained everything... because it did.
After some time there was suddenly some banging on the door.
Dante puts his hand on Sweet revenge and goes to the door and sees a bunch of thugs. The lead one a shark demon smirked.
"We know Angel Dust is in there give him to us and nobody gets hurt," he said.
"Yeah no," said Dante taking a puff of his cigarette, "Maybe find some other prostitute to harass."
"I don't think you know who you're dealing with," said the shark, "see we work for Valentino, which means we're cleared to do what ever we want with his toy, and it took us a lot of effort to get him into a docile state to fuck him before he got loose from us."
"I'm sorry did you just say you're the ones responsible for Angel being in that state?" Dante asked in a much colder tone.
Back in the warehouse Blitz recognized that tone and spoke to Cherri, "Um Cherry we might want to step back a bit."
"Huh why?" she asked wondering why he was suddenly so panicky.
"Because Dante is about to go on a rampage, I'm talking this area over there is gonna be a splash zone."
Elsewhere
"Alright spill Al," said Vaggie, "Why are you so determined to kiss up to Dante."
Alastor sighed as he just wanted to enjoy his coffee, "Well first of all, I'm incapable of making a deal with him," he said as remembered what happened when he just took his hand. The eyes of the shadow beast still gave him the chills.
"Second of all, Dante is very loyal to his friends, as in he will literally take a bullet for them as you can personally attest to that," Vaggie grudgingly nodded at this as Alastor had a point there, "But if you're his enemy?" Alastor's voice suddenly became more ominious, "Then may hell have mercy on your soul for you will find none from him."
Back with Dante
"Yeah what of it?!" said the Shark demon cockily.

Dante just took another puff of his cigaratte before tossing it.
Then in the coldest calmest tone he said, "I am going to tear you in half."
And with that he brought out Sweet Revenge as well as Old Scratch and started opening fire and a big chunk of the Thugs dropped dead.
"Get him!" shouted the Shark as the thugs opened fire only to see their bullets did nothing. More specifically he was unaffected by them.
They put holes him alright, but those wholes regenerated.
"My turn," He said before appearing behind a demon and smashing his face into the floor. Another demon came behing him but he shoved a grenade in his mouth and pulled the pin. He had a panicked expression on his face before his head explode.
He kept killing the demons in many brutal ways.
Meanwhile Cherri and Blitz were just watching the carnage.
"Wow you weren't kidding about the rampage," she said, "Or the splash zone," as sure enough there was a lot of blood on her floor. Meh she always liked the color red.
"Oh this is nothing," said Blitz, "I once saw him kill five men in a bar with a pencil," he added, "A FUCKING PENCIL!" he shouted as if he still couldn't believe it, "I mean who does that?! He went full on John Wick!"
Meanwhile the Carnage was still happening until only the Shark demon was left.
"Look man we can talk about this," he said suddenly on the floor panicking.
"Do you remember what I told you?" he asked. Suddenly his one visible eye glowed yellow and shadowy claws appeared on his arms as grabbed the shark demon and literally tore him in half.
(End song)
"Remind me never to piss you off," said a voice Dante was glad to here as Angel was doing better now and startling Blitz and Cherri as they were focused on the Carnage.
"I look out for my friends," said Dante.
Later at the Hotel
Charlie was glad to see Angel come back in okay and glad to see Dante but was shocked to see him covered in blood.
Vaggie just remembered Alastor's words earlier.
"But if you're his enemy? Then may hell have mercy on your soul for you will find none from him."
"I imagine the other guy looks worse," she said trying to lighten the mood for her girlfriend.
"Some punks tried to drug and rape Angel," said Dante letting them figure out the rest for himself. Vaggie suddenly understood why Alastor was wary of this man, hell if he hadn't taken a bullet for her yesterday she might also be wary of him.
"Someone loyal to his friends huh?" said Novak in the shadows.
"Yeah very loyal looks like," said Vaggie.
"He seems to be a good friend to all of us," said James making sure to make a report of this Uriel. Didn't want any inquisition members to pull a Balthazar after all. This guy was better as an ally.
Heaven
Sera was doing some paper work as Emily was telling her about her day as she smiled. Then Balthazar walked with limp in his step that was only noticed by Sera.
"Balthazar," said Emily happy to see him.
"Hey there Em," said Balthazar, "I can I talk to Sera alone for a bit, it's a personal matter."
"Of course I'll leave you to it," said Emily before she left to see the Koalas again.
"Is it done?" asked Sera as soon as Emily was out of ear shot.
"Unfortunately not," said Balthazar no longer hiding his limp, "Courier Six was more dangerous than we thought."
"Dammit," said Sera trembling at this implications of this failure.
"Worse, Uriel himself intervened," said Balthazar and at noticing Sera's wide eyes he continued, "Don't worry nothing will get traced back to you, that's why you sent me after all, the loose canon, the wild card."
Sera breathed a sigh of relief.
"I'm gonna need a now weapon though," he said revealing his spear was damaged, "I'm thinking a katana."
Dun dun dunnnn the plot thickens.
So the first plot point I suddenly came up with before this was the Blitzo and Cherri dating bit. Dante meeting them were both plot points I had planned. I decided to have them both this chapter so it wouldn't be to short. Then I thought it would be funny to have Cherri be one of Blitzo's many many exes. Fun fact by the way, you can apparently tell someone's opinion of Blitzo by how they say his name. If they say Blitz, it means they respect him or like him. If they say Blitzo they hate him.
The other unplanned bit was the heaven scene. You see I had recently been cathing up with My Hero Academia, and was reminded of one of my favorite things about it. The villain is developed along with the hero so I decided to that with Balthazar, rather than have him be a one off character like I originally planned.
He's going to have a similar role to Marko in New Vegas Bounties 3 in which he will act as a foil to Dante.
With Ulysses it was clash of the couriers, with Marko it was clash of the legends or clash of the killers, with Balthazar it will be clash of the wild cards.
Also Fallout London is out, yay loving it so far. But it is feeding the plot bunnies.
Speaking of which I must get back to bunker.
