"I'm sorry what?" Blaise asked as he was now nervous he wasn't before but now hearing that Harry Potter was Serpens Black's baby brother. The question was, how did no one know this, and how much trouble was he in?

Serpens looked at the first year with amusement; of course, he had heard what the first year had done for his baby brother. Now Serpens had to find a way to introduce himself to his brother and explain what had happened to their bearer. Well, he found it as he looked at the little first-year and smirked.

"Yes, Zabini Potter is my younger brother and if you want him you'll have to meet my grandfather, his father." Serpens said to him with an evil look Serpens reckons his younger brother took after their mother more than he realized if his mother was able to birth them surely Harry could too.

Draco was also shocked that his great-uncle sired Harry Potter. What was James Potter to Harry then? As there were no other potters around, if that's the case then his great uncle was with someone his mother's age and his niece's age. Draco looked to see his best friend palling at the thought of seeing his great uncle, he had not seen his uncle Orion in years oh boy this is a drama.

"But how?" Draco couldn't help because this was too much, he got along with Potter but for Potter to be his cousin was that far-fetched since all purebloods were related. What if he couldn't wrap his mind around his great uncle siring children at his age? He was beginning to get a headache from this. Does his mother know?

"Well my daddy Regulus Black and my mummy James Black née Potter fell in love and bonded and consummated their bond nine months after I popped out of mummy we were a happy family. Something happened a few years after my birth. My father was killed. We don't know how my mother was grieving and taking care of me. My grandfather Orion stepped up to help a year after the death of my father. My mother and grandfather started to court the bonded and nine months later Harry was born." Serpens told them his cousin quite sarcastically but he was honest about it.

"Why didn't I know?" Draco asked as it did hurt him that he had a cousin close to his age from his mother's side of the family, but also if James Potter's dead, who raised his cousin? Because he doesn't remember his great-uncle bringing Harry to family functions.

"Because we do not know what happened to my mother or why people seemed to believe Lily Evans was Harry's mother and not our mother." Serpens said males able to give birth are generally always called mothers despite their gender being males. Not to mention his grandfather didn't want anyone else to know he was married to James Black Serpens misses his mother he and his grandfather couldn't even go to his mother's funeral at Godric Hollow. Serpens thinks it was the Headmaster who forbade him and his grandfather to attend James' funeral despite Orion still technically married to James.

"An even more important question, does Harry know?" Blaise wanted to know cutting Draco off his slight pity party poor him for not knowing what about his Harry? He lost his mother who he thought was his father now his father is out there not knowing what happened to his child.

"No, he doesn't but I will be the one to tell him after all I am his older brother." Serpens said he also ignored the part where Harry is his uncle but he wasn't counting that nor would Orion he honestly doesn't think his mother would count that.

"It might be a good idea to tell him in private don't want the wrong people getting a hold of this knowledge to use it against him." Blaise suggested to Serpens that was what Serpens was going to do in the first place. To be honest the fifth-year Slytherin didn't trust anyone in Gryffindor, his brother the exception but no one else even the Thomas kid. No matter how much a kid kept the younger Weasley off of his brother.

"Zabini, how do you know that was my plan, to begin with?" Serpens asked the first year who could not form an answer he was not expecting that reply. He thought the older Slytherin would be grateful for the suggestion but no it was nothing like that the older teen made the eleven-year-old feel stupid and Blaise Zabini did not like people making him feel stupid at all.

"Look Black, you don't really know your brother all that well trust me when I tell you it would be better for Harry to be told in private. Do you want other Gryffindors to overhear the conversation? I can hear the Weasleys now." Blaise told the prefect the said fifth-year had the audacity to smirk at him but that did not even deter the first-year. "I knew it, I knew Potter would be dark just look at him." Blaise imitated the Weasley in their year, made Serpens drop his smirk and yes Zabini had a point there was no way that Seprens was going to tell the Italian that.

"Ah, you do have a pair of balls Zabini, good you'll need those." Serpens said it was a slight test that he was waiting to see if he failed which he was hoping for anyway and he'll need those balls when it comes to Harry's father. Serpens was glad that Zabini was no coward, he was protective or tried to be as Zabini was protective of Harry.

"You have no idea what I'll do to protect Harry." Blaise told the prefect Serpens noticed the look and he saw that look while his grandfather looked at his mother and brother. There was something there to use to advantage and Blaise wouldn't dare let that go not now or ever
