Hush Part 3
At the Batcave, the Bat Family were able to learn about Hush did make a deal with Poison Ivy, but only be force while given her the synthesis Kryptonite lipstick for her to weaken Superman (Clark Kent) and uses him for killing Lois Lane which they're aware that Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle foiled her plan. They've also learned that the number of Nomus were creating chaos and panic at the streets which was stopped by Red X and Batman. However, they're able to gather some particles of 'Lead' which was used for paints, and apparently Hush is getting sloppy for hiding evidence. Also, Hush has been making a deal with the League of Villains.
Currently, Emily was working on the particles of 'Lead' while try to isolate Hush's current location with some help of Iwao, Dick, Ethan, James, and Lita while try to narrow it down since the cities around in Japan is too huge to look in different areas.
Red X informed them that Talia Al Ghul has given him permission to kill Thomas Elliot, known as Hush, for trespassing and using the Lazarus Pit for his personal gain.
"And the rest is history." Red X told them. "Guess this is what happens when he pisses off the wrong group."
"Yeah, and the League of Assassins don't take kindly for that, either." James agrees. "Trust me on this, these guys are no joke when it comes to killing."
Ethan, Lita, and the Gordon siblings were well-aware of the League of Assassins capabilities and they've encountered them before along with Ra's Al Ghul. Emily was able to get the location of Hush's whereabouts.
"I've got something, but there were only 7 locations." Emily said, groans. "Dammit! This guy is a real pain in the ass!"
"Relax, we'll just split up and see if we can find him." Dick suggests with a small smile. "He's a piece of work, I know, but he's smart enough to cover his trail. When it comes to finding criminals in the big cities in Japan or Gotham City in the old-fashioned way, it's like finding a needle in a haystack."
"Which is why we're gathering information and evidence to learn more about these criminals, and try to find them by using the tech we have." Jason adds. "The easy part is the first, but the tricky part is where they're hiding."
Both Dick and Jason are right about it since they've done it before during their time, but with Hush in any of the locations, it'll be hard whether if he's there in between of the buildings or not.
"I've got something on Nigma's file." Eri said, earned their attention when the information of the screen. "According to this, Nigma had been receiving a terminal diagnosis due to the brain tumor and malignant tumor since in his 30s and survived. He's been undergoing in surgery once, but failed."
"Whoa, it's no wonder he's still alive!?" James exclaimed in shock. "It would explain that Riddler uses his head to come up with methods in riddles in puzzles."
"And how." Jason said, crossed his arms with a glare.
"He's able to keep his mind and his intellects in check by remembering the riddles, puzzles, and mind games. It's surprising that Riddler was able to survive this long." Tamao said.
"Yeah, but not for long. With the multiple brain cancer, Nigma won't live for much longer." Ethan states. "Did it say anything about him in the Lazarus Pit?"
"It did." Eri nods, working on the Batcomputer as the information reveals from the screen. "He uses the Lazarus Pit to cure himself of cancer and made himself young while enhancing his strength. But it didn't last for long because the healing factor is wearing off and the brain cancers are spreading him."
"And it would seem that Riddler is about to meet his fate due to multiple brain cancer." The voice of Nezu said when he, Aizawa, Best Jeanist, and Bakugo arrived at the Batcave which it got the Bat Family and Red X's attention. "Do not be alarmed, I have taken the liberty of given Best Jeanist an explanation about you and your actions. But it would seem you've got your hands full."
The Bat Family and Red X lowered their guard, knowing that the Principal of U.A. High makes a valid point. Best Jeanist then spoke, after learning of the Bat Family's actions along with Red X's.
"Nezu told me everything about you and your deeds, while it's true that there aren't any laws about the Hero License, the Justice League, metahumans, everything." Best Jeanist said. "For that, it is highly commendable of your heroic deeds."
"So, what? You're not gonna arrest us?" Emily asks curiously.
"Normally, yes, but after what I've learned from Nezu, it's best that I would not do that. The Government and the HPSC are on a lot pressure as it is because of the League of Villains along with the civilians." Best Jeanist told them. "I'll keep everything quiet and not say a word to them, but in exchange, I'll be of some assist to you."
Bakugo didn't like that idea of working together with the Bat Family, but turns to Red X.
"Who the hell are you?" Bakugo questions with a growl.
"Didn't you even read the article or are you just plain dumb? I'm called as Red X." Red X mocks, causing Bakugo to snarl with a sneer. "And for your information about the way you look, you look like a complete dork in that hair style of yours. And what's with that pants? Dude, you need some serious makeover."
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Bakugo yelled in anger.
The Bat Family then just started to snicker of Bakugo's new look, causing Best Jeanist to sigh, knew that the hot-headed student would lose his temper.
"You heard me, I said you need some serious makeover." Red X told him.
"I'LL KILL YOU!?" Bakugo yelled, charges after Red X with his right arm raised.
Until, Jason Todd cuts in as he delivers a clothesline right in the neck, causing Bakugo to turn inside out by flipping around and crashes down to the floor. Bakugo turns his head to Jason Todd, who's been smirking.
"So, you're Katsuki Bakugo? I've heard about you." Jason told him as Bakugo stood up. "A hot-head and a dumbass who always charge head on without any second thoughts or working together as a team. It's no wonder you've got your asses beaten three times in a row."
Bakugo then growled as he starts charging again and about to use his Quirk, but Jason grabbed him arm and delivers a shoulder throw, slams him down to the floor.
"So full of rage and pride, guess it would explain why the staff members and a Pro Hero had a hard time." Jason mocks, then turns to both Aizawa and Best Jeanist. "No offence."
"None taken." Aizawa and Best Jeanist said in unison.
Both Aizawa and Best Jeanist are starting to realize what Jason is doing, noticing that Bakugo is trying to let out of rage inside of him while try to take down Red Hood. But the difference is Jason Todd is an experienced vigilante and a fighter while Bakugo knows how to control his Quirk, but his flaw is his pride, rage, and his ferocity. Aizawa knows that Bakugo won't win the fight which it proves that his student is outmatched by Ethan two times. Best Jeanist is narrowing his eyes, watching the fight between Red Hood and Bakugo.
Bakugo was trying to launch his Quirk again, but Jason Todd delivers a kick to the sternum while doing punching him in the jaw two times.
"Face it, Bakugo, you'll never be a Pro Hero with that attitude of yours. You'll be nothing but a villain, an agent of rage and bloodshed that could cause destruction." Jason told him. "Even if you can't change your attitude, it'll get you killed and your goals will be all for nothing."
Bakugo then then tries to deliver a right hook, but Jason blocks it and counters by punching him in the jaw.
"You have no business on taking U.A. High." Jason continues, then punches him in the stomach. "You treat your classmates like garbage!"
Jason then delivers a knee to the chin, making Bakugo stumbled a bit.
"Your pride has led to your downfall, even karma bites you in the ass several times." Jason said. "You never think because of you being reckless and always angry whenever you see that 'Deku' character, after he outsmarted you in the hero training."
"...Shut up..." Bakugo growled in a low tone.
"Hell, you even showed no remorse or hesitation on using your weapon on your pointless grudge match." Jason continues. "You even made some hateful comments on him and Ethan, too."
"...Shut up..." Bakugo growled again, about had enough.
"And for the worst part about you is...you let your ego, your pride, and your selfishness get the best of you..." Jason said with a smirk.
"I SAID SHUT UP!" Bakugo yelled at the top of his lungs. "I'LL KILL YOU! YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY?! FINE! IT WAS THAT BASTARD DEKU HIDING HIS QUIRK THE ENTIRE TIME! LAUGHING BEHIND MY BACK! BUT ETHAN! EVER SINCE HE BECAME BATMAN OR EVEN SHOWED UP, HE'S BEEN ROBBING THE PRO HEROES ACTIONS AND EVERY ACTIONS IN THE CITIES! MY DREAM IS TO BECOME THE BEST PRO HERO AND TO BE NUMBER 1! I HAD MORE POWER AND TALENT THAN ANYONE! I WOULD'VE BEEN NUMBER 1 WITHOUT A DOUBT! BUT ETHAN! THAT BASTARD JUST HAD TO SHOW UP AND RUINED EVERYTHING AND EVERY CHANCE I SHOULD'VE HAD! HE JUST HAD TO MAKE HIS OWN TEAM! HE JUST KEEP UPSTAGING ME IN EVERYTHING ALONG WITH DEKU! WHY?! WHAT THE HELL MAKES THAT BASTARD SO DIFFERENT FROM ME?!"
Best Jeanist is starting to realize why Bakugo was acting like he never had to work for anything in his life and enrolled at U.A. High because of his raw talent, but his true colors have shown which it got him very disappointed. The Bat Family, the Oguro family, and Aizawa weren't surprised of Bakugo's ranting or his actions since they've seen it first-hand. Jason Todd kept his neutral expression as he decided to give him a painful truth.
"You really don't know, do you? Well, the answer is simple and yet, painfully obvious. But since you're acting like a bitch, I'll breakdown the facts." Jason told him. "You see...The difference between you and Ethan is that...Unlike you...He's not some childish, pathetic, hot-headed, self-centered, and a delusional brat who refuses to grow up and face the truth."
His words struck like daggers to the heart. Bakugo paused fully, taking in the words thrown at him. He tightens his fist with unyielding wrath, his teeth clenches with inhuman force. The veins in his arms and forehead are brought out in full display. Aizawa and Best Jeanist are about to use their Quirks to stop in case he gets out of hand.
"I'LL KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Bakugo roared.
Any shred of control was gone, blinded by rage, he runs at Red Hood. With his hand about to launch an explosion, Jason calmly slaps his hand away, redirecting the blast. Bakugo throws a punch instead, but only for Jason to catch his wrist and then punches him in the sternum. Jason then decided to make a quick work by delivering a spinning heel kick, sent him flying and crashed against the ground with a hard thud.
Bakugo then moved his head up with a grunt, looking at Jason Todd, who crossed his arms.
"Are you done?" Jason asks with a glare.
Bakugo then stood up, about to charge when both Aizawa and Best Jeanist were able to restrain him.
"Don't even bother. You were outmatched and clearly, I should've taken you back at U.A. High to have word with the Principal for your behavior along with the results I have witnessed." Best Jeanist said with a glare. "Head upstairs and wait for me. And if you ever so try to damage the Wayne Manor, I will have no other options, but to have you arrested for property damage and for trying to kill your fellow heroes."
Bakugo widen his eyes in disbelief, couldn't believe what Best Jeanist is saying. He then scoffed when Aizawa and Best Jeanist lets him go, watched him leaving the Batcave.
"I might've gone too far." Jason states.
"Gee, you think?" Red X asks sarcastically.
"Maybe it's best that I'll have to give him a lecture for his actions." Nezu said with a hum. "After this, I'll decide of his punishment when the internships are over."
Jason then decided to follow Bakugo which it got their attention.
"Where are you going?" James asks. "You know Bakugo will have your ass for following him."
"I'm just gonna have a talk with him." Jason told him. "And as far as I know with that look, he needs it."
With that, Jason Todd heads out of the Batcave to have a word with Bakugo, leaving the Bat Family, Red X, the Oguro family, Nezu, Aizawa, and Best Jeanist alone.
"It would seem his actions are resulting of being expelled if he tries anything." Nezu said with a sigh. "I hope he knows what he's doing."
"Even after his enrollment, Bakugo still haven't changed. It only got him worse after his previous fight against Midoriya, Ethan, and this 'Harley Quinn'." Aizawa told him. "I really had half of mind that I should expel him in class and have him reflect his actions."
"Well, we'll see if Jason can get through that thick skull of his." Emily said in annoyance. "But knowing him, that hot-head would get his ass handed again."
"And if it happens, we'll be sure to have Bakugo straight back at U.A and given him the punishment he needs." Nezu assures them, but decided to change the subject. "Now, on to the matters at hand. I've heard of your actions recently, besides searching for Dr. Thomas Elliot."
"We're able to get his current location, but as you noticed, Hush has been into more than one place." Emily states, showing the information to them. "I was able to isolate the particles of 'Lead' and find out of his location. And as Grayson said, finding Hush is like finding a needle in a haystack."
"Hmm...Seems like you're in a tough spot on finding him." Best Jeanist said. "However, those Nomus are still bothering me. He doesn't seem to be the type on working with the League of Villains."
"More like he's been making a deal with them." Lita points out. "He's trying to cover his tracks with a little help, but he's not working for free. He's working for the money and on having Ethan dead."
"What do you mean?" Best Jeanist inquires curiously.
"Last night, Ethan and Lita saved the kid while about to head back to base had gone wrong." Aizawa explains. "Hush snapped the cable with the sniper and causes Ethan to fell out of the sky, crashing down into the ground. We're lucky that we were able to find him and taken down those lowlife thugs."
Best Jeanist widen his eyes in shock.
"We kept telling Ethan to stay in a manor, but he insisted on helping out while stay out of action." Lita continues, sighed. "But the number of Nomus we fought says otherwise."
"And now, after learning of the recent actions, Hush is still trying to cover his tracks while looking for Ethan." Nezu adds, pondered. "If nothing else, we should split up and see if we can find him before Dr. Thomas strikes again."
"Or we can isolated the other locations while looking for one location." Ethan suggests.
The Bat Family, the Oguro family, Nezu, Best Jeanist, and Aizawa are now formulating on a strategy to find Hush by isolating the locations to find him.
While at the Wayne Manor, Bakugo is currently waiting for Best Jeanist and Aizawa, sitting on a couch with an enrage look on his face. On the inside, Bakugo's pride was hurt, knew that Jason was right and felt like he never had what it takes to be a Hero after all the previous fights at the UA Sports Festival, the Zero Year Incident, and the Court of Owls. Bakugo knew that Shoto has better control of his Quirk and felt outmatched by him in between his powers and combat prowess, which of course, Shoto has been trained by Toya. Bakugo felt embarrassed of Harley Quinn hitting her in the 'jewels' with the baseball bat and being called as 'Bomb Baby Bakugo' back at USJ, and his classmates still called him that. Bakugo also felt hurt that Midoriya outwitted him in the end of the first round of Hero Course, being outmatched by Ethan in combat and being shocked in the 'jewels'. Now, Bakugo felt hurt that Jason Todd outmatched him.
And for the worse part, Bakugo felt so humiliated in all of his life and his pride felt hurt.
"Truth hurts, doesn't it?" The voice of Jason said, earned his attention when he noticed him crossed his arms with a smirk.
"What do you want, extra? You hear to gloat?" Bakugo asks with a sneer, causing Jason to glare at him.
"One: This extra has a name, it's Jason Todd. Two: You just got your ass handed, and you're sulking like a sore loser." Jason retorted. "And three: I'm not here to gloat, I just want to talk."
"I'm not in a talking mood, just get out before I can kick your ass!?" Bakugo warned him which Jason isn't convinced as he sat on the other couch in the opposite direction. "What are you doing?!"
"Isn't it obvious? You and me are gonna have a serious talk, because seeing you sulk like a big baby isn't going to help." Jason told him. "And as far as I can see, you need serious help."
"What?!" Bakugo growled.
"You heard me, I said you need help. And it's not about being a Pro Hero or any of that." Jason told him. "The reason is you need someone to talk too."
Normally, Bakugo wouldn't listen and rather fight, but after learning that he'll get beaten again, he decided to hear Jason out. Jason can tell that Bakugo is about to lose his temper again and start the fight again. He then decided to use a different method.
"You know, you and I have something in common. We have anger issues." Jason said. "That was before I became the Red Hood and being the 2nd Robin. I was a street punk back at Gotham City when I was a kid after my dad left and my mom being a drug-addict."
Bakugo then turns to Jason with his raised eyebrow, which it got him interested in Jason's dark past.
"I started ripping off car parts for cash while try to take of mom, but she died of overdose and left me to fend myself in the streets while continuing stealing car parts for money. I came across the Batmobile that was parked in the alley, which I couldn't pass the opportunity. So, I decided to try and steal those parts, but I was caught red-handed by Batman, who happens to be Bruce Wayne himself." Jason continued. "At first, he tried by putting my on a boarding school for troubled kids, but it didn't work out because that school was obviously a training ground for youthful criminals. So instead, he decided to take care of me and trained me to become the 2nd Robin."
"You're the 2nd Robin?" Bakugo questions.
"Yeah, that's way before Eri's time and after Dick ditched the Robin gimmick and became as Nightwing while become his own hero." Jason answered with a chuckle. "Though, I'm not as acrobat like Dick, but I'm strong with a scrappy attitude and skills from life on Gotham City."
Bakugo then nods with an understanding since he gets what Jason is telling him.
"Anyway, it was also my first mission as Robin. I learned about what really happened to my dad, he was killed by Harvey Dent, known as Two Face. Even though, Bruce never told me and I was furious of that knowledge. So, what did I do?" Jason continued. "I went on a rampage until I confronted Two Face."
"And what did you do after find and beat him?" Bakugo questions.
"Normally, I would kill him for killing my dad, but I arrested him instead." Jason answered, sighed. "At the time, I started working with Bruce while learning from him. But for the first time in my life, I break of 'no kill' code by taking Felipe Garzonasa's life. The reason why is because Garzonasa raped a young woman and it drove her to commit suicide."
Bakugo widen his eyes in shock after learning of Jason Todd taken someone's life.
"Not gonna deny, but it wasn't easy for me to kill someone. But I was willing to make a hard decision because of my former life at the streets." Jason points out, but continued telling him. "So, after that, I later discover that my mom isn't my actual mother. I ran away to find her by following the leads, I finally find out that my real mom, known as Sheila, worked as an aid worker. I was overjoyed at first, but discovered that she's being blackmailed by the Joker, who's using her to provide him with medical supplies. Mom has been embezzling funds from the agency and as part of the cover-up. Joker then brutally beat me up with the crowbar, and then left me and mom in the warehouse with the time bomb. And before Bruce ever tried to get me and mom, the warehouse exploded and...I was dead."
Bakugo was shocked in disbelief, couldn't believe that Jason was dead. But what he don't understand is why is he here and alive.
"I know what you're thinking. You're thinking 'why am I still here' face." Jason said with a smirk. "Well, the League of Assassins brought me back by using the Lazarus Pit. I was alive and my wounds were healed, but it had effected my personality, which basically I wasn't alright in the noggin. So, I've extended my training from the League of Assassins and All-Caste in order to avenge my death. But Batman says otherwise, it got me further enraged and I take up the mantle as Red Hood."
"'Red Hood'? What kind of a name is that?" Bakugo inquires, raised his eyebrow.
"Not a good one, and it's Joker's old gimmick. So, instead of the outlaw look I'm wearing right now, his is like a monkey suit in a red cape and helmet." Jason told him with a chuckle which it got Bakugo chuckled as well. "So anyway, after the events of War Games and War Crimes, I came back in Gotham City by hijacking a shipment of Kryptonite by Black Mask. I give them the Kryptonite back and finally found the Joker. I gave him a payback by beating the Joker up with the crowbar. But despite that, I spared him and use him later against Batman."
Bakugo can tell that Jason is telling the truth about himself.
"Yeah, I've been making a lot of bad choices by doing some criminal activities, killing some thugs and criminals, beating other heroes. After that, I hold the Joker as hostage in order to confront Bruce." Jason continued. "I asked him why he couldn't avenge me by killing him, telling me that he won't cross that line. I was enraged and even told him that ignoring all of the people he's killing and crippled Barbara. I believed that after my death at the hands of Joker, he'd finally kill him, but he didn't. I gave him the ultimatum, that either Bruce kill him or me. But instead, I was about to kill when Batman threw that batarang, slicing my neck and my gun while Joker took the advantage and detonating the building, sending me plunging at the bay."
Bakugo then widen his eyes in shock, but taken everything he learned from Jason Todd.
"And after I survived, I continued doing my own thing as a crime fighter while killing some thugs along the way. Bruce and Dick may not approve of my actions, but someone has to get their hands dirty while willing to make hard decisions." Jason said. "And after learning that the Joker was working with the Legion of Doom, me and the Justice League have put up a helluva fight. Our groups from both sides are losing numbers, I was one of them after the fight against the Joker. So, I died a second time."
"...The Lazarus Pit...you were back a 2nd time, right?" Bakugo inquires, earned a nod from him.
"After Bruce Wayne is dead by the hands of Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins while the Court of Owls made a deal, I was back from the dead." Jason told him. "And the rest is history after Ethan accepted me as part of the Bat Family. He even given a 'go-ahead' on taking the criminals down when they broke out of prison the 3rd time. If didn't happen yet, but I'm still able to fight crime and patrolling the city. But learning from Dick, Bruce takes Ethan in because he saw something in him. He also saw that they're different from one another. Ever since he's taking up the cowl, he helped form a new Bat Family, turned Eri into Robin. Bruce wouldn't have any of that because he insisted on doing the crusade alone. And he saw the good in everyone, think about the 'no kill' code, he still haven't breaking it yet."
"But why? Why are you telling me this?" Bakugo asks.
"Because I don't want you ending up the same mistake as I did." Jason answered, leaving Bakugo shocked. "I've been making a lot of bad choices in my life after becoming as Red Hood while not having a good life, despite being a street punk. I've been attempting to make up for my sins while making things right. I'm gonna give you some advice, kid, don't let that anger get the best of you or you'll end up like me, a killer. Like any of the heroes, or in this case, Pro Heroes, you have to be ready to make the hard choice and sometimes the hardest choice is sparing a life."
Bakugo then understands what Jason is telling him while taking every information he learned from him. Bakugo can only respond with a nod.
"Now you know about me, I want to know something about you." Jason said. "Why were you behaving like everything is beneath you? What makes you think that you're better than anyone, including Ethan? Why were you angry when things didn't go your way?"
Bakugo can tell that Jason is being serious of those questions he's asking, decided to come clean as he spoke.
"Ever since me, Ethan, and Deku are kids, my whole life I've looked down on them, both of them are Quirkless. Obviously, way behind me, but somehow, it always felt they're ahead of me, too. I hated that, I hope they disappear." Bakugo explains. "I didn't want to accept any of them. So, I tried to bully Ethan first, but he always stood up and able to beat me thanks to his hark work and training by Bruce. After that, I decided to bully Deku instead, to make sure he'd stay away. I had to reject him, so that I could feel superior. I needed to win, to beat him and get a payback from Ethan. Then me and Deku got into U.A. and Ethan became the new Batman, not a single thing played out the way I wanted it to. Everyday, I was forced to see how strong Deku was and watch Ethan upstaging me during his time as Batman, while how weak I am. Saying this out loud doesn't change a thing, but that's how I feel."
Jason Todd now finally began to understand the reason why Bakugo was like that.
"But...after realizing it, Ethan and his team, along with the Boondock Saints and the Sons of Batman Motorcycle Club, they were trying to make the world a better difference while not following the laws of being a Pro Hero. They were carrying out their legacy and acting like real heroes." Bakugo continues. "But you, you were different. While not having a good life and made a bad decision, you chose to make up a lot of his sins while play out as an anti-hero."
And just Jason was about to say in sentence, Ethan arrived at the room when he noticed him and Bakugo were talking.
"What's up?" Jason inquires, turns to him.
"We found his location." Ethan answered. "He's at the abandoned metal works. Red X is coming, and I was hoping if you come with us."
Jason replied with a nod, but turns back to Bakugo.
"Well, looks like they found him. I should get going." Jason said, stood up. "And Bakugo, if you need someone to talk to, the doors always open."
"Yeah, whatever." Bakugo scoffed, not wanting to admit it, but he does need it.
And with that, Jason and Ethan heads back to the Batcave to suit up to find Hush.
At the city, Batman, Red Hood, and Red X are making their way towards the abandoned metal works while Nezu and Aizawa are heading back at U.A. High. Best Jeanist is taking Bakugo back to his agency to have further discussions with him.
"Whatever is going on with that kid, I think it did something good to him." Aizawa said.
"We have some serious conversation, while having him learn about my past." Red Hood told him. "The least I can do is get him to listen."
"I see. Well, we thank you for that, Jason." Aizawa thanked him. "But still, you sure he'll be in that metal works? It hasn't been used in decades."
"Definitely." Batman answered. "Thomas has other plans for me, but it won't go as the way he wanted."
"And with luck, we should be able to find him without problems." Red Hood added. "Though, it's a big 'if'."
"Well, let's hope that he's there. We don't know what trick he got under his sleeve." Batgirl points out.
Batman, Red X, and Red Hood continued making their way to the abandoned metal works.
Few minutes later, Batman, Red X, and Red Hood were at the abandoned metal works as they launch themselves inside with their grappling hooks, crashing the window and landed inside. Batman, Red X, and Red Hood then rushes forward to find Hush, but unknowingly triggered the alarming system when the hatch from the ceiling opening, dropping the Riddler, who's now dead while being wrapped in a straight jacket, chains, and hanged upside down.
Batman, Red X, and Red Hood were shocked, but quickly recompose as the Dark Knight slowly puts the deceased villain down, placing two fingers in his eyes, and shuts his eyes. Until, the gatling guns firing the bullets at the three, causing them to quickly dodges the bullets.
"Go, we'll catch up!" Red Hood suggested when he drew out his pistols while Red X drew out his shurikens.
Batman nods as he rushes ahead to go after Hush. Both Red Hood and Red X kept on dodging bullets while making a quick work on destroying the gatling guns.
While at the main room of the metal factory, Hush turns with a sinister grin when Batman arrives.
"Ah, Batman, right on cue." Hush said, readied his pistol. "But this is where you'll meet your end."
Hush then fired the chain, making the pulley losing the metal materials and fall onto Batman. Batman quickly jumped and rolled out of the way while the materials destroyed the bridge. Hush then charges after Batman when he was about to swing the sledgehammer down, causing the Dark Knight to dodge and making him hit the bridge as he threw batarangs at him, causing Hush to quickly drew out his pistol and fire the batarangs. Batman grabs hold of the metal rod as he and Hush charge against each other.
Batman then swings his metal rod at Hush, leaving him block that attack, but the Dark Knight hits him in the chin, making him stumble. Hush then swings the sledgehammer when Batman dodges and then swings the metal rod right at the side of the rib and the back, causing him to grunt in pain. Hush then fired his pistol at the metal rod and knocking it out of his hand. Batman then dodges the bullet while punches Hush in the jaw and in the face, making him stumble back. Batman then charges as he swings his punch, but Hush blocked and counter by hitting him in the nose with the hilt of the pistol. Hush was about to swing his sledgehammer, but was knocked out from his hand by a bullet.
"What? Did you forget about me?" The voice of Jason said when he charges and punched him in the face, leaving Hush stumbled back.
Hush then scowled at the two when Red X arrived next to them.
"Seems there are now three." Hush said with a glare, but smirked. "No matter, I can still kill you along with the two of you. Once that's done, I'll kill the rest of the Bat Family, and the fortune that Bruce had will finally be mine!"
"So, this is your plan, huh? You're just pissed because you couldn't get your fortune?" Red Hood remarked. "I've got news flash for you, Bruce's fortune belongs to Ethan after his death! I may have regretted for what I did, but I'm glad he made the right choice!"
"After a long few decades I've been waiting for the fortune to come to me while healing my injuries, I was furious that it went to that brat instead of me! It should've been mine!" Hush shouts angrily. "All of my work on murdering my parents and plotting on destroying Bruce has been foiled in Gotham City! I even took the opportunity on making my way to Japan and taking down Batman in permanent death!"
"Well, it didn't go your way!" Red X remarked. "You knew he survived, and you decided to help Recovery Girl on brain surgery! After that, you're planning to use another method to try and kill Batman, didn't you!"
"That's right! I've been making a deal with the League of Villains, after learning each of you are on to me!" Hush admits. "And now..."
"We were able to find your location." Red X finished his sentence. "I'll admit, you're hard to find after trespassing into the League of Actions base and using the Lazarus Pit. But you should've thought about the consequences and realizing that the League of Assassins won't take kindly for trespassers, either."
"I'm not scared of them! I'll kill them, just like I'll kill you three!" Hush shouts.
"Well, you've got bigger problems right now. The healing effects of the Lazarus Pit won't last for long." Red Hood points out. "You'll also lose your strength and your mind, and after that, you'll lose your sanity."
"No! No!" Hush yelled in frustration.
Hush had enough as he charges after them while Batman, Red X, and Red Hood does the same. Red X kicks Hush hard in the stomach while Batman punches him in the jaw, making him stumble back. Red Hood punches Hush right in the rib and then kneed him in the gut, Red X delivers a flying kick to the face, Batman delivers an elbow to the chin and followed by punching him in the kidney. Batman, Red X, and Red Hood kept tag teaming Hush, hitting him over and over. Eventually, Red Hood delivers 2 punches in the stomach and punched him in the jaw while Red X finishes him by grabbing Hush's head, impaled him with his wrist blade, killing the criminal.
After the fight was over, the police arrived inside of the abandoned metal works when they noticed two of the dead criminals known as Riddler and Hush were lying on the floor. Barbara called the paramedics to wrap the dead criminals in the body bags, carrying them to the ambulance. Batman, Red X, and Red Hood were watching the scene at the top of the building.
"My work is finished, I'll inform the League of Assassins." Red X said, then left the scene.
"We should leave, too." Red Hood suggested. "This should consider a message for the League of Villains if they try anything funny."
Batman replied with a nod as he and Red Hood left.
At the Wayne Manor, the Bat Family and the Oguro Family are now in the living room, watching the news that has recently come up.
'It's just in, both the Riddler and a new criminal named Hush are dead. Reports say that Red X have killed both of them and left the scene. However, it is said that Red Hood have also killed those criminals, but we've learned that Hush has been making a deal with the League of Villains by sending those Nomus to prevent them for finding this criminal.'
"Much as I love to take the credit, but Red X did most of the killing." Jason states with a smirk. "I'll admit, that kid's got style."
"Yeah well, even if Hush is still alive, he'll lose his mind and left insane." Dick said.
'Also, after learning about Red X, our mysterious individual have also left a message for the League of Villains.'
The screen then showed a message that's written in blood saying:
"LEAGUE OF VILLAINS! YOUR NEXT!"
'And it would seem that the League of Villains may or may not learn about our mysterious assassin. However, Red X will come for them if the League of Villains try anything, but I don't think they'll take it lightly.'
"And they can bet their asses they don't. But it'll be enough to scare them shitless." Iwao said with a scoff, drinking a bottle of beer. "So, what now?"
"We should continue on patrolling the city in case the League of Villains are planning to make the next move. And if that happens, we'll be ready." Ethan suggested with a brooding glare.
