This is the 28th chapter. I don't own the series of My Hero Academia or the series of Justice League.

The Atlanteans
On the Oki Mariner, Tsuyu, known as Froppy, is cleaning up the deck which of course it has to be done by daily when it comes to ships. Tsuyu chooses her internship with Selkie, who happens to be the Sea Rescue Hero and the Captain of the Oki Mariner along with his sidekick, Sirius. On her previous days, Tsuyu was doing push-ups to work her body, cleaning up the deck, and training her Quirk since she needs to get stronger after learning between the three incidents and a criminal named Hush. Tsuyu was worried about Ethan after hearing him falling down in the sky and crashed into the ground, which no human being can survive that fall, but with his sturdy body, he somehow survived and having a head injury. She was relieved that Ethan is recovering, but annoyed of his stubbornness to find Hush while gathering information about him.
But hearing the news of Hush's death, Tsuyu is terrified of Red X sending a message to the League of Villains which apparently, the League of Assassins have painted the targets on their backs. She decided not to get on to the League of Assassins bad side.
As soon as she finishes cleaning the deck, Tsuyu wipes off the sweat from her forehead.
"Froppy!" The voice of Sirius called her, earned her attention when she approaches downstairs.
Sirius is a young woman with smart blue eyes, sloping inwards, and short, shoulder-length hair of a lighter blue color which she wears side swept to the right. Her hero costume consists of a sleeveless white sailor uniform with a dark blue, double-trimmed color and a short 3-piece skirt which is buttoned together on either side. She wears a loosely tied red scarf and blue gloves with white striped wrist guards, and on her feet, thigh-high boots with wavy lines running down them from thigh to toe. She sports a flat hat with a ribbon around the base and two large communication devices on her ears to aid with the use of her Quirk, which are shaped like large blue fins.
"How's the work going?" Sirius asks.
"I think I'm all done cleaning the deck." Tsuyu answered. "What now, Sirius?"
Sirius responded by showing her the refreshments with a smile on her face. Tsuyu decided to take a break after putting the brooms and buckets away, sitting on stairs with Sirius.
"It's kind of boring, having to spend everyday cleaning, isn't it?" Sirius inquires.
"Uh...a little." Tsuyu said with a groan.
"You know, I felt the same way when I did my internship." Sirius told her, looking at the horizon of the sea. "As a kid, I'd always imagined I knew what it meant to be a hero. It turns out the reality is very different. I always figured being a hero would be super glamorous, but then, I've discovered it was a lot of patrols and cleaning up. I even had to do laundry, which meant washing the Captain's underwear. I had to ask myself, 'What I was even doing here?'"
"So, you got tired of it?" Tsuyu asks curiously, leaning next to her.
"At first, yeah." Sirius answered, turns to her with a smile. "But after becoming the Captain's sidekick, I figure something out. I realized what was actually important when it came to being a hero."
"Oh, really? What was it?" Tsuyu asks, tipping her finger against her cheek. "Can you tell me?"
"Oh, it'll be better if you find it out for yourself, don't you think?" Sirius told her with a giggle.
Tsuyu can only respond with a 'ribbit'.
'Ethan, James, Lita, Tamao, and Emily I can understand why they're being heroes because they are taking up their mantles and their legacy. Eri? She's been saved from a villain named Overhaul by Ethan and Lita, and becoming as Robin.' Tsuyu mentally thought. 'And if I remember right, Curtis and Zoey were taking up their mantles, but using them as good instead of being criminals. Zachery, Sarah, and Jared were also taking up their mantles and their legacy, but as outlaws, that's kind of an overkill.'
"Hey, Froppy!" Selkie called her, making them snapped out of their thoughts when they turned to him.
Selkie is a man with a muscular physique, but with the appearance of a humanoid spotted seal that has a gray beard. His costume consists of a full body wetsuit with yellow goggles, retractable flippers, and a stylized 'S' featured on the left shoulder.
"Why are you just sitting there?" Selkie questions with a serious look on his face, approaching them. "Shouldn't a frog be jumping to get her work done? And I thought I told you to keep on top of her, Sirius! Don't you slack, either!"
"I've finished cleaning the deck, Captain, sir." Tsuyu told him bluntly when Sirius wraps her arm around her shoulder with a smile.
"And I'm totally supervising her properly." Sirius adds when Tsuyu replies with a nod and a 'ribbit'.
"Oh, is that right?" Selkie said, corrects himself while scratching his head. "Guess I've jumped to conclusions."
Selkie then leans himself up with a smirk on his face.
"Sorry about that ladies, I apologize, my bad." Selkie apologizes as he then does a cute look on his face. "Forgive me!"
Though, Sirius isn't amused of Selkie's cute look despite his muscular appearance, but Tsuyu however, she's just looking at him.
"I'm too good for words, aren't I, Froppy?" Selkie asks with a laugh.
"Yeah, she's dumbfounded." Sirius remarked in annoyance. "I know I always say this, but trying to look cute like that doesn't work. The rest of your physique is just too macho."
Though, Sirius does make a valid point which apparently, Selkie does look muscular, but he doesn't want to admit it. Of course, Selkie is dumbfounded when she continues.
"Your face is pretty rugged too." Sirius finished her sentence.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Selkie shouts. "When I make that sweet face for kids, they eat it up!"
"Of course, because they're actually making fun of you!" Sirius points out, pointing her finger at Selkie. "Trust me, there's nothing cute about it!"
Selkie couldn't help but tilted his head in shock while Tsuyu says otherwise, tipping her finger against her cheek.
'Adorable!' Tsuyu mentally thought when one of the sailors came out of the main room of the ship.
"Captain Selkie, sir! An urgent message has coming from the Coast Guard!"
"I hear ya, coming now!" Selkie replied as he heads up to the main room.
"Froppy, will you help me unfasten the ropes?" Sirius offers. "Looks like we're sailing out."
Tsuyu was surprised at that, but accepts as she and Sirius are heading towards the docks. Selkie entered inside of the main room as he grabs the phone from the sailor.
"Selkie here." Selkie said seriously.
While at the docks, both Sirius and Tsuyu unfastened the ropes while the Frog hero was able to untie them quickly.
"Hey, you're good at this." Sirius praises her as they pulled the rope, pulling the platform.
"I see. 'Kay, we're on it." Selkie replied, hangs up the phone.
"The ropes pulled in!" Sirius informed him when Selkie turns to his crew.
"Hear that, sailors!" Selkie shouts to his crew. "Emergency departure!"
"Aye, aye, sir!"
The sailors, Tsuyu, and Sirius replied with a salute as they make their way to the control room.
"Full speed ahead!" Selkie order when the sailors started the engine as the boat propeller starts warming up. "Good work! The Oki Mariner is on the move!"
And with that, they're now sailing out of the docks and heading to the open sea.
After a few hours of sailing, the sun began to set at the horizon. Sirius turns to Selkie as she spoke.
"So, what are we dealing with?" Sirius inquires.
"The Coast Guard got a tip that there were stowaways on the trade ship, but things may not be what they seem." Selkie explains. "Officials inspected the ship, but they didn't find any stowaways hiding on the vessel. Upon further investigation though, they discovered that important cargo from the ships freight list was missing. I'm sure you all know what that means? What do you think, Froppy?"
Tsuyu then ponders for a few minutes while tipped her finger against her cheek.
"It's likely that before the Coast Guard arrive, the stowaways move the cargo to another ship somewhere close by and fled the scene of the crime." Tsuyu states, leaving Selkie shocked. "In fact, it's possible that the stowaways have plans on the ship."
Selkie is impressed of Tsuyu's deduction as he then let out a cute pose.
"Correct!" Selkie said.
'So embarrassing.' Sirius and the sailors muttered in annoyed and unamused look.
'Adorable.' Tsuyu thought with a blush as Selkie recomposes himself.
"Our job is to find these criminals. Based on the information we have, they probably escaped on a small boat. We will deliver them to the Coast Guard." Selkie informed them as he shows them the contour map to his crew and Tsuyu. "This is the general location that would make the most senses in the escape route. Authorities and other Sea Rescue Heroes are also searching for them. We'll be focusing on this area, take note. The sun will set soon, that means you'll be searching for the boat, via radar. I'll take to the ocean and look for them myself. That's all! Got it? Let me hear you, sailors!"
"Aye, aye, sir!" They replied with a salute.
Selkie then puts his goggles on as he got out of the ship and dives down into the ocean while equipping the flippers from the feet. Selkie then merges into the ocean as he then starts swimming, the Sea Rescue Hero started clicking his tongue to utilizing the echolocation to look for the stowaways.
'They aren't anywhere around here, guess I'll have widen my search.' Selkie mentally thought as he continued the search.
Unknown to the Sea Rescue Hero, the Atlantean Warship were sailing to look for the stowaways. Inside of the warship were the Atlantean and the Dagon soldiers in the main control room along with three rulers of Dagon named Otlen, Teal'c, and Kida along with the Princess of Atlantis, Andrina.
Otlen is a muscular young man with black hair that reaches down to his shoulders, and black eyes. He's wearing the Royal Crown and the Atlantean armor that has dark blue scales with silver trims from between the shoulders and the side ribs and the upper thighs, dark blue leggings, silver gauntlets, and silver greaves. He carries the Trident of Orvax.
Teal'c is also a muscular young man with black hair that reaches down to his shoulders, and black eyes. He's wearing the Atlantean armor that has black scales with silver trims from the shoulders, silver gauntlets, black leggings, and silver greaves. He carries the Trident of Poseidon.
Kida is a slender yet muscular built teen with long silver hair that reaches down to her shoulder blades and blue eyes. She's wearing a Atlantean armor that has black scales with silver trims on the shoulders and chestplate, black leggings, silver gauntlets, silver greaves, and silver faulds. She carries a sword and a spear.
Andrina Curry is a slender teen with red long hair that reaches down to her shoulder blades and blue eyes. She's wearing an orange scale tunic around her chest area, dark green pauldrons, dark green gauntlets, dark green leggings, and dark green greaves. She carries the Trident of Atlann.
Otlen, Teal'c, and Kida are related to Orm Marius, known as the Ocean Master, along with Arthur Curry, known as Aquaman and the King of Atlantis. Apparently, the three learned of their fathers history of treachery by killing his mother and ruling Atlantis with his own hands, planning to destroy the surface with his own army of Atlantis, but was foiled by the Justice League and Aquaman. Learning of his deception, the Atlantean army angered of Orm's betrayal and Arthur dethrone him, became the new ruler of Atlantis and marrying Mera. With the three grown strong hatred of their father, Arthur took them in and raise them in Atlantis with a help of Mera. Even though, the Atlanteans never accepted them because of them being related to Orm, but Aquaman ordered them to never harm the children in front of his presence. He and Mera trained them in combat, magic, weaponry, and politics. However, they've learned of Arthur's death during the fight against the Legion of Doom, Atlantis lost its King, but not Mera or Andrina.
Soon as Otlen Teal'c and Kida were older along with Andrina, they took matters into their own hands by teleporting to the City of Dagon, dethroned Orm Marius, and became the new rulers of Dagon, with the help of Andrina, Garth, Tula, Kaldur'ahm, and La'gunn. The Marius siblings have made an alliance with the City of Atlantis for having two cities in peace and became the new members of the Justice League.
Now, they're currently searching the same stowaways after being informed of the stolen cargo and try to cross the borders of Atlantis. Until, the sonar picked up a signal which caught the attention of the one checking over the sonar radar.
"Your majesties! We have detected the stolen vessel, they're heading towards the borders of Atlantis!"
"Shall we proceed on destroying the vessel and capture the surface dwellers?"
"No, we cannot alert the surface dwellers. They too have the same goal on finding the stolen vessel." Andrina told them seriously, then turns to Teal'c. "Teal'c, you know what to do."
Teal'c gave his cousin a nod as he was making his way out of the ship, merging into the water as he swam towards the stolen ship.
Later that night, Selkie and his crew continued the search of the stolen ship when Sirius and Tsuyu are at the deck, looking for the ship by looking through the binoculars.
"As expected, I can't see anything in the dark like this." Tsuyu said. "And we haven't seen anything on the radar, either."
"Never fear." Sirius said, earned her attention. "Don't forget that Captain is looking for them, too."
"Incoming message coming from the Coast Guard! A fishing boat thoughts who belong to the stowaways has shaken off a Hero Agency patrol boat! It was last seen heading toward the area that we're in charge of searching!"
Sirius and Tsuyu then glances at each other when the water spouts out of the sea, revealing to be Selkie mergeing out of the water and lands on the ship.
"Captain." Sirius said with a smile.
"I've confirmed the location of the missing fishing boat we've been looking for!" Selkie informed them. "This is our chance! Turn off the lights and get close without letting them know where we are!"
"Aye, aye, sir!" They replied with a salute.
"Uh, Captain! You might wanna look at this!"
Selkie, his crew, Sirius, and Tsuyu turns to the sky, hearing the loud sound of thunder as the clouds were gathered and turned black. The rain then starts to fall to the sea and the waves are slowly starting to move the ship along with the stolen ship which it got them starting to lose balance.
"What's going on?" Sirius questions. "The weather is supposed to be normal!"
"I don't know, but we're in for a storm!" Selkie told them. "Everyone, keep the ship steady! We can't lose them!"
"Captain, look!" Tsuyu said, points at the Atlantean.
Teal'c merges out of the water with his Atlantean powers while holding the Trident of Poseidon, looking at the stolen ship with a scowl on his eyes.
The stowaways looks through the window, noticing the Dagon Prince in front of them as Teal'c points at them.
"You have stolen the vessel and trespassing the borders of Atlantis!" Teal'c warned them. "Where is your leader? Tell me...or suffer the consequences..."
Then, the fisherman arrived out of the fishing ship with a frightened look in his eyes.
"Please...I don't know what you're talking about...I swear! Please! Have mercy!"
The fisherman begs for his life which apparently, the two won't be able to get out of the ship because of the waves roughly shaking the ship along with the storm.
"Then you leave me no choice..." Teal'c muttered.
Teal'c then began using his Trident of Poseidon as it began to glow, pushing the waters as it starts to rise and reaches the heights of 100 feet of wall of water. Selkie, Sirius, Tsuyu, and the crew are beginning to realize that Teal'c is creating a tsunami, causing the fisherman and the two of Innsmouth's sidekicks to panic.
"EVERYONE! GET ON THE SHIP! THE TSUNAMI IS ABOUT TO STRIKE!" Selkie yelled in panic as they quickly get inside of the ship. "BRACE YOURSELVES!"
Then, the tsunami hits the fishing boat along with the Oki Mariner ship, swept the fisherman, Innsmouth sidekicks, Selkie, Tsuyu, Sirius, and the sailors away from their vessels which the ships were merged into the water and sinking down. Andrina, Teal'c, and Kida swam after them, using the marine telepathy to call out the sea animals. Luckily, both Selkie and Tsuyu were able to swim while trying to get Sirius and the sailors to the surface, but it got their attention when the orcas, and the great white sharks arrived at sea. The orcas grab hold of the sailors and the fisherman, and the great white sharks grabbed two of Innsmouth sidekicks, swimming towards the surface.
Selkie and Tsuyu then turns to the Atlanteans as they swim towards the three.
"Are you trying to kill us with that big wave?!" Selkie yelled in anger. "We had them!"
"We were informed by my mother, the Queen of Atlantis. And if you must know, they're using the fishing boat as a diversion so we won't find the leader." Andrina told him, telepathically. "We are also informed they're trying to carry the illegal trinkets towards the borders of the sea, including Atlantis."
"Atlantis?! That's just a myth! There's no such thing!" Selkie remarked.
"We can assure you it is real, because all of you surface dwellers haven't learned of it, nor forgotten the legacy of Aquaman and Atlantis." Kida retorted. "However, we won't have the time for this argument, we will have the answers we need in order to find the leader."
"For once, we agree." Selkie said with a huff as the Atlanteans swam away. "'We can assure you it is real'."
"I heard that." Kida and Andrina telepathically said.
"Who are these guys?" Tsuyu questioned.
"I don't know, but at least they save us the trouble." Selkie told her as he and Tsuyu followed the Atlanteans.
Soon as the storm settles because Teal'c's trident, the Atlanteans were able to bring the ships in the surface when the Coast Guard arrived after hearing of the tsunami. Teal'c and Otlen approaches to Innsmouth's sidekicks and the fisherman.
"Now, we're going to ask you one more time, where is the leader?" Otlen asks with the authority, pointing the Trident of Orvax at them. "We know you had answers."
"I don't know what you're talking about! I swear! I know nothing!" The fisherman pleads.
The Atlanteans, Selkie, Sirius, and Tsuyu aren't convinced when Teal'c uses the marine telepathy, calling out the great white sharks they look at the fisherman and Innsmouth's sidekicks like they're prey and lunch.
"Last chance, tell us or we'll feed you to our aquatic friends." Teal'c warns them.
The fisherman and Innsmouth's sidekicks turns to the great white sharks, who are staring at them with a predatory glare which it got them sweat bullets and panic.
"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you!" The fisherman shouts in panic. "Innsmouth's ship is hidden in the double rocks at the shore!"
And it was enough to convince them as Otlen called them off, making the great white sharks heading back into the sea. One of the Atlantean soldiers approaches to the royals.
"Your majesties! We have repaired their vessels!"
"Alright, take these prisoners to Atlantis." Otlean informed him. "They will be pass judgement by Queen Mera.'
"At once, your majesty!"
And with that, the Atlantean and the Dagon soldiers escorted the fisherman and Innsmouth's sidekicks inside of the Atlantean warship which Selkie, Sirius, and the sailors weren't too happy about it. The Coast Guard however, knew about the legends of Atlantis and Arthur Curry, known as Aquaman, and the King of Atlantis, but after they've been informed of Aquaman's death years ago, they carry out their legacy and learned that the rulers of Dagon and the Atlanteans were carrying out Arthur's legacy.
Of course, the Coast Guard have been on good terms with the Atlanteans and given them the respect due to their royal status and being heroes of the Justice League.
"Now hold on just a minute! Just who do you think you are?!" Selkie shouts angrily which it got their attention. "What gives you the right to take them somewhere that doesn't exist?!"
"Selkie, you need show some respect! They are the rulers of Dagon and Atlantis! They helped us for years since Atlantis lost its King. So, we will provide support to them along with the Atlanteans, but we refuse to allow you and the Sea Rescue Hero to make a dispute or disrespecting them."
Selkie, Sirius, and the sailors didn't like the idea of working together with the Atlanteans when the Coast Guard told them, but Tsuyu have heard about the history of Aquaman once from Bruce Wayne and Ethan Wayne. She then turns to Teal'c, who's scowling at the Sea Rescue Heroes. One of the Coast Guard turns to the Atlanteans with a smile.
"Go, we got this situation handled. Go find Innsmouth."
They nodded as the Atlanteans dive down into the sea, quickly swim towards the shore which it got Selkie, Sirius, Tsuyu, and the sailors shocked.
"How could they swim so fast?!" Selkie exclaims.
Once the Atlanteans were able to make their way to the shore, they noticed that Innsmouth is hiding inside of the ship and in between the two rocks. Kida and Otlean quietly swim towards the ship, grabs hold of it, and then lift the ship up with their strength. And then, both Kida and Otlean chuck the ship in the air, making the villain named Innsmouth yell as the ship splashes down into the water. Innsmouth revealed himself out of the ship with anger.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?! AND WHO CHUCK THE SHIP INTO THE AIR?!" Innsmouth demands with a yell at the top of his lungs.
Innsmouth resembles a semi-anthropomorphic octopus. His head resembles the mantle of an octopus and has two ridges leading up to his eyes. He has no nose, and his mouth is at the end of a trunk-like structure with three suction cups on each side. On either side of the trunk, there are two fully prehensile tentacles that he uses as an extra pair of appendages. His skin is a shade of dull red and is dotted occasionally with bumps and papillae, and acts as a flexible webbing between his four arms. His arms appear to be boneless, and have a suction cup at where the deltoid would be, the elbow, and the base of the wrist. He's wearing a pair of red boots with pointed toes, a pair of baggy grey pants, a brown belt, and various watches and bracelets. His main accessory is appears to be a long maroon sleeveless coat and red scarf that he wears as a hood.
Innsmouth turns his head, trying to find out who threw the ship out of the share. He then noticed something came out of the water, noticing Teal'c and Andrina merged out of the water with their Atlantean powers. Andrina and Teal'c then began to use magic as the tridents began to glow, firing lightning at Innsmouth, making him scream in pain.
After the Atlanteans made a quick work out of Innsmouth, the Atlantean and the Dagon soldiers escorted the villain inside of the warship.
"We'll be sure to have them imprisoned and face the consequences." Otlen informed the Coast Guard.
"Thank you, but to let you know, we were able to recover all of the illegal drugs they were trying to bring in. It was a big haul."
"We understand that." Kida said with a small smile.
"Hey!" The voice of Selkie called them, earned their attention. "Do you honestly think I would let you get the fame and glory for your actions?"
"We do no such thing, we're doing this because of the criminals trespassing the borders of Atlantis." Andrina told him with a glare, points the trident at him. "Leave at once and have your vessel repaired, or you will meet your fate."
"And do you think I would believe that? After you keep babbling about this 'Atlantis'?" Selkie questions again, crossed his arms.
Otlen, Teal'c, Kida, and Andrina didn't like his remark, feeling offended.
"You surface dwellers don't even know who you're talking to." Otlen said. "And yet, it's clear that some have forgotten about the Atlantis."
"I haven't." Tsuyu said, earned their attention. "Ethan and Mr. Wayne told me about the history of Atlantis and Aquaman. I didn't believe it at first, but...after watching you took down that ship with that massive tidal wave, throwing the ship in the air, and well..."
"It's understandable, we usually do have a tendency to go overboard at times." Teal'c told her. "But I couldn't say the same to those surface dwellers that causes trouble."
"And what's that supposed to mean?!" Selkie demands, feeling offended.
"You so-called heroes have forgotten what being a hero really means." Andrina points out. "Even you come here to save lives, the Pro Heroes only came for the attention in between fame and glory."
Selkie was about to fight them, but was restrained by the sailors and Sirius. One of the Coast Guard decided to stop the dispute.
"I understand how you four feel, but things are hectic between the HSPC, the civilians, and the Pros as it is along with the criminals on the run. Right now, there's still an ongoing argument whether they'll defend themselves or not because of their own Quirks. If nothing else, we can't have any more problems here."
The Atlanteans turned to the Coast Guard, knows that he's making a valid point as they decided to stand down while Selkie does the same.
"Very well, we'll refrain for our actions." Otlen said with a sigh. "However, take the stolen vessel back to the docks, but the prisoners will come to Atlantis."
"Not a chance!" Selkie remarked. "These stowaways are Innsmouth and his sidekicks. If you think we're just going to walk away and leave them to you..."
"What makes you think you have a choice?" Teal'c questions.
Selkie have had enough as he was about to fight, but stopped by Sirius and Tsuyu.
"We don't wanna get on their bad side, Captain. We better do what they said." Tsuyu suggested. "Otherwise, we'll end up like them."
Selkie didn't like the idea of letting the Atlanteans escorted the criminals in Atlantis, but reluctantly nodded as he, Sirius, Tsuyu, and the sailors decided to let them have the criminals.
"Have them escorted in Atlantis." Otlen informed the Atlantean solider.
"Yes, your majesty."
With the replay, the Atlantean warship merged inside of the water, heading towards Atlantis. Tsuyu however, approaches the Atlantean royals which it got their attention.
"You know, all of this could've been avoided." Tsuyu told them.
"How?" Andrina inquires curiously.
"Come to the surface in Japan, and negotiate with the HPSC." Tsuyu suggested.
"You'd have us crawl to them like some beggar?" Teal'c demands with a scowl.
"No! Stand before them as royals." Tsuyu answered, then returns to the Oki Mariner as they head back to the docks to get the ship repaired.
The Coast Guard and the Atlanteans are now left alone, which Andrina, Teal'c, Otlen, and Kida are now thinking about her words.
Deep within the ocean at the very bottom of the seabed lies a majestic city which is none other than the city of Atlantis once ruled by Arthur Curry, known as Aquaman, and now ruled by Mera. They're currently located in the throne room, where they are having a discussion with the militants with Teal'c, Otlen, Kida, and Andrina standing by Mera's side.
"The surface dwellers have been causing trouble in the sea, they sail their illegal trinkets and pollute our oceans with their garbage. There's only one way to ensure the Atlantis' safety and my troops are prepared to take action!" The General said.
"What sort of action?" Queen Mera questions.
"Before Orm was exiled, he made a technology that could wipe off the face of the Earth. It hasn't been used, but it's still intact." General explains. "We can use it right now, just give the order!"
"General Zanox, we decide the policy not you." Queen Mera points out. "It will tarnish Arthur's legacy if we use it."
"Do you honestly think we would follow our father's ideal by destroying the Earth?" Kida questions with a glare.
"But how much longer must we endure these affronts? Surely, you realize that now if the perfe-"
"No, we will not use that technology!" Andrina interrupted. "And you would do well to hold your tongue, General. Her words are final."
General Zanox takes a few steps back and bowed.
"Forgive me, your highness." General Zanox apologizes.
The Marius siblings knew about of their father's previous action, but knows where the technology is hidden. They glanced sideways to look at their aunt and their cousin, who's glaring at the Atlantean General before speaking up once more.
"General Zanox, we will consider your counsel, but this is a serious matter. We'll give it much thought." Otlen said as they bowed in respect.
Soon as Queen Mera, Andrina, and the Marius siblings left the throne room, neither were aware of the silent stare which General Zanox was directing towards them.
Over at the balcony, the Marius siblings were looking at the view of the city of Atlantis.
"What could Uncle Arthur be thinking when he learned about this technology?" Otlen quietly questioned. "Surely, he would be furious about this."
"He would." The voice of Queen Mera agrees which it got their attention. "But he's no longer with us, and he wanted us to make the choice of our own."
"I'm afraid mother is right." Andrina agrees sadly.
The Marius siblings then turns to the city of Atlantis living peacefully in the waters along with Tula, who's with Garth and La'gaan.
"But, what kind of future we would make for the cities of Atlantis and Dagon?" Kida inquires.
"Whatever you decide, I'm sure that it will be the right choice." Queen Mera said, embracing the Marius siblings.
"Will it?" Teal'c questions.
"You three may have the blood of your father's, but you have the strong and noble hearts, like Arthur's." Queen Mera told them. "And he would be proud of you three for what you've done for us and the City of Dagon."
Andrina nods with an agreement as she and Queen Mera left to the bedchambers to get some sleep while the Marius siblings looked back to the City of Atlantis and came to a decision.
The next day at the Oki Mariners, Selkie, Sirius, Tsuyu, and the sailors were fixing up the ship since it took some minor damage because of the tsunami. Selkie is still angry for a fact that the Atlanteans escorted the criminals to Atlantis, which he still finds it hard to believe. Tsuyu however, grew worried that Selkie might start a fight against Atlantis which for her, it's not a good idea because she witnessed of how capable the Marius siblings and Andrina are along with the soldiers from between Atlantis and Dagon.
"I still can't believe we left them down there. Now, they're in the hands of this 'Atlanteans'!?" Selkie growled.
"But still, Captain, the Coast Guard did told us about Aquaman. They're rulers of Atlantis, they only want to preserve and protect their own kind." Tsuyu told him.
"Who's gonna protect us from them?" Selkie remarked, walked away which it got Sirius sighed.
"While I understand their opinions, but Captain does have a point." Sirius said. "If word got out and Atlantis does exist, Innsmouth would try to gather the army and destroy us."
"I don't think it'll happen." Tsuyu said bluntly. "Because these guys aren't the type who would destroy this world. As far as I know, those guys are defending their home which it's somewhere under the sea."
But before Sirius could even make a debate, they noticed the Marius siblings arrived at the docks by merging themselves out of the sea and leaping in midair, lands on the shore with ease which it got her and Tsuyu shocked. It got Selkie's attention when he turns to the Marius siblings with a scowl on his face, walk towards him. Selkie was about to ask why are they here when Kida grabs hold him, lifted him in the air.
"Tell us where we can find the HPSC!" Kida demands with a scowl of her own.
At U.A. High, the Bat Family, Lita, and Tamao were having some discussion about the Final Exams for the students between Class 1-A and Class 1-B. Of course, the Bat Family were against on having the Final Exams ready since neither of the students are trained in combat, tactics, or how to use their Quirks. The U.A. faculty members understand what they're telling them, which they made a valid point, but with the League of Villains are still around in the city, time isn't on their side.
The Bat Family, Lita, and Tamao didn't like about the U.A. High trying to get their students being a Pro Hero in a hurry, and it'll get one of them killed by the villains that they don't even know or their powers.
However, it won't stop the League of Villains ever since the number of incidents between the USJ, Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins, Zero Year, the Court of Owls, Hosu, and Hush, they will go for being as a small-time thugs to being recognized as a group with an ideology, which basically, this new converse will seek them out. Even if each individual is insignificant. If the criminals gathered under one banner, there will be one unstoppable proportions. All For One may or may not have planned any of them, all except the USJ and Hosu, meaning that he's a tactician while steadily getting rid of any obstacles one-by-one, trying to make conditions that will favor his own purpose.
Toshinori was even aware of his enemy, but deeply stunned that All For One somehow survived with such injuries which he doesn't want to imagine how it's even possible. The Bat Family, Tamao, and Lita were aware of All For One's previous actions during his time.
"Which is why we need to have the students get strong as soon as possible." Nezu suggested. "Surely, you can't disagree."
"Normally, I would agree, but I disagree." Ethan told him seriously. "You're rushing things, and your students aren't ready for the final exam. We're aware that the League of Villains are still on the move, but they're also getting stronger by the day."
"Which it why they need to be proper trained in combat, Quirks, and come up with tactics." Dick adds. "And neither of you are even trying. Even we all agree that All Might is a terrible teacher since he couldn't even teach Midoriya."
Toshinori groans with a glare, but knows that Dick was right which the U.A. faculty members agreed.
"But still, we need to get them to be Pros so they'll experience on their own while learning from the Pro Heroes." Midnight told him. "That's the reason why we sent them for the internship."
"But it won't be enough." Jason remarked with a glare. "They need to learn how to use their Quirks in the right direction and they need guidance. They don't need some shortcuts to become a Pro Hero, they need to go through the obstacles since the League of Villains aren't making it easy for them."
"True, but the League of Villains are right now gathering a number of recruits after learning about the incidents." Thirteen agrees. "But we can't afford to wait for them because of that."
"And we were hoping that if you're gonna participate in the Final Exams after the internship is over." Nezu suggested. "We are aware of your heroic deeds and your capabilities, which is why we ask of you to see if either of the students passed...or fail in the Final Exam."
The Bat Family, Tamao, and Lita were skeptical of his offer of fighting against the students which they knew that any of them will fail. But before they give the Principal the answer, the news were showing on the screen in the tablet.
'According to the eyewitnesses account, the new individual heroes called 'Aquaman Family' have enforced their way past the Pro Heroes and into a HPSC. But as to why they're here and what they want, we'll have to wait for further development.'
The Bat Family, Lita, and Tamao, except Dick and Jason, were shocked that the new Aquaman Family arrived at the surface. The U.A. Faculty members were also shocked and surprised, but remember the news of the Marius siblings and Aquawoman stopped Innsmouth and his sidekicks last night in the sea. Of course, the U.A. Faculty members were completely stunned that Teal'c used his Trident of Poseidon to call out the tsunami to swept the ships, the Atlanteans uses their strength to lift and threw at the ship in the air with ease, and made a quick work out of Innsmouth.
"Did the media said 'Aquaman Family'?" Emily inquires. "Didn't Arthur form a team of his own in Atlantis?"
"You heard right, they said 'Aquaman Family'." Dick told her with a smirk. "And yeah, Arthur is the original member of the Aquaman Family. That was way before your time."
"But it's no surprise that Bruce didn't tell you that Atlantis is the real deal." Jason adds.
"Which brings us to our question." Aizawa said. "Who's this 'Arthur' character?"
"Arthur Curry, he's known as Aquaman, and the King of Atlantis." Ethan explains. "He's the son of a lighthouse keeper, Tom Curry, and the Atlantean Queen, Atlanna, but was raised by his father. Arthur learned that he had his mother's gift, and Tom helped him hone his aquatic abilities while Vulko trained him in combat and learns how to use a trident."
"Sounds about right, considering of what we have witnessed." Toshinori states with a ponder.
"But after learning the truth from Vulkos and his mother, Arthur became the rightful heir of Atlantis after the fight against Orm and a member of the Justice League." Emily said. "Though, it took a while Arthur to be convinced after telling him about Steppenwolf coming here and taking responsibilities to rule Atlantis."
"Let me guess, he's stubborn?" Vlad King inquires with his arms crossed.
"Very." The Bat Family answered in unison.
'Figures. Kind of reminding me of someone.' Nezu, Aizawa, and Vlad King mentally thought, turning to Toshinori, who's sweating bullets and nervously.
"But after Aquaman and the Justice fought against Steppenwolf at Pozharnov, Queen Mera ask of him to return to Atlantis to stop Orm." Dick continues. "Though being stubborn after he refuses, Mera convinced him and he accompanies her to Atlantis to meet up with Vulko, and being informed about the history of Atlantis which he needs to find the Trident of Atlan, a trident once belong to Atlan, the former king of Atlantis in order to claim his rightful place as King."
"I see." Nezu said. "Though, I'm afraid learning more about Arthur will have to wait. Our priority right now is find out why were they here."
"That's what we're here for." Ethan said as he and his team left the conference room. "We'll head over there and make sure that there won't be any problems."
While inside of the HPSC, Madam President and the agency were enraged, yelling at the Marius siblings, who looked very annoyed with everything in general.
"First, you and the group of vigilantes go after the villains without getting caught! Then, you took Innsmouth and his sidekicks to somewhere it doesn't exist! And now, you're threatening us to make peace?! Who gave you three the right?!"
"We are the born rulers of Dagon." Otlen told him with a serious glare.
"A country we don't recognize!"
"These are our final terms, refuse them at your own risk." Kida warned them.
"But your demands are outrageous." Madam President points out. "It would compromise our law and managing the Pro Heroes along with the society."
"Your problem, not ours." Teal'c told her.
It got the agency angry, shouting at the Atlanteans when Tsuyu and Sirius entered inside.
"Your majesties!" Tsuyu called as she and Sirius ran towards the Marius siblings.
"We gave them a chance for peace, and this is their answer." Teal'c said with a frown.
"These things take time." Sirius told him.
"We've wasted too much time already." Kida said as she and her brothers walked past them.
"Wait!" Tsuyu shouts, stopped the Marius siblings. "Sirius is right, you can't expect everything to be resolved instantly. Negotiation takes time and patience to solve the issues, ribbit."
"A lot of good it did for us here." Olten said as they walk past the frog hero.
"Wow, real prince charming." Sirius said sarcastically.
Both Tsuyu and Sirius went after the Atlanteans, they were almost at the entrance when suddenly they heard a loud explosion followed by a screams of panic which made them hurry outside, only to be shocked upon seeing the Marius siblings laying on the ground with the sight of an explosion nearby. The assailant was about to flee when Red Hood knocked him out with the hilt of the gun to the back of the neck.
"I think you and I are gonna have a little talk." Red Hood states with a smirk on his face.
And after the Bat Family, Delta, and Catwoman arrived, they helped Tsuyu and Sirius carry the Atlanteans inside of the ambulance, immediately ride towards the hospital.
Back at City of Dagon, Andrina took over as the temporary ruler of Dagon after being informed by the Marius siblings when they ask of her to take over and having Aquaman and Tempest with her. They're now watching the news which for some reason, the Atlanteans keep tabs of information from the surface.
'...and the following explosion, the Bat Family, Delta, and Catwoman helps Froppy and Sirius to the medical center. There are still no reports on their condition appear to be crucial...possibly fatal.'
Andrina was enraged, both Tempest and Aquaman aren't far behind, when they've learned that the Marius siblings were ambushed by someone. General Zanox however, was pleased that the Marius siblings were ambushed, but disappointed that the group have interfered his plan.
"Let us hope that your rulers are alive." Andrina said with a serious glare. "But as from now, I'm ruling the City of Dagon until they've returned."
"But we can't let this treacherous attack go unpunished!" General Zanox shouts, turns to the Princess of Atlantis. "Your cousins are maybe dead!"
"We won't know that until the information is revealed. And you would do well to remember who you're speaking too, General." Andrina warned him. "And we will learn who's responsible for this."
"It's the surface dwellers! They're the-"
"You're stepping out of the boundaries, General." Aquaman warned him with a scowl. "The Princess has spoken. We will wait until further instructions."
General Zanox isn't too pleased since the plan didn't go as he wanted, but doesn't want to oppose the Princess of Atlantis or disrespect as he stormed away with anger. Andrina, Tempest, and Aquaman then turns back to the screen, hoping for the Marius siblings survived from the explosion.
Meanwhile at the hospital, Batman informed the medics about the Marius siblings physiology when they took them to the room that had three large water tanks. Tsuyu uses her tongue to wrap Teal'c around and placed him inside of the tank, along with Kida and Otlean. The doctors turned on the heart monitor to see that they begun to stabilize, much to their relief.
"His vitals are stabilizing." Sirius said with a smile.
"Be sure to maintain saline at 3.5%." Nightwing informed him.
"But how could you possibly guess that?"
"Like the first Aquaman, they're like fish out of water, saltwater." Batman told the doctor.
"Let's be glad that they're okay, ribbit." Tsuyu said. "But how did you guys know about Aquaman?"
"Jason, Barbara, Bruce, and I met him during our time with the Justice League, and it's way before your time." Nightwing told her, earned a nod from the frog hero. "Though, it's no surprise that someone is following up Orm's ideals."
"Orm?" Sirius repeats.
"Arthur's brother, and the one who betrays Atlantis for murdering Atlanna and rule Atlantis with his own hands while became known as Ocean Master." Batgirl explains. "Luckily, Arthur was able to beat him in combat and became the rightful King."
Sirius was shocked of Arthur's actions against Orm, which she now begins to understand why the Coast Guard are on good terms with the Atlanteans because of history of the first Aquaman's actions and his legacy,
"But the question is, who attacked them and why?" Tsuyu asks.
"I know who." The voice of Red Hood when he tossed the assailant right towards the door and approached them. "This guy right here fired off a rocket launcher to take down those three."
Before they're going to ask questions, they heard a grunt in response which was coming from the Marius siblings.
"They're coming around." Robin called them.
"Good, now maybe we can get some answers." Red Hood states, holding the assailant when the Atlanteans swam out of the water tanks when they noticed Batman, Batgirl, Red Robin, Nightwing, and Red Hood.
"Bruce? Barbara? Tim?" Otlen called them. "It felt like it's been a long time since all of you fought against the Legion of Doom and fight alongside with Uncle Arthur."
"And we thought the both of you are dead." Kida adds, turned to Dick and Jason.
"Yeah the thing is, the Lazarus Pit brought us back, and basically, we're deadman walking." Dick told her.
"And I'm not Bruce Wayne." Ethan adds, remove his mask. "My name is Ethan Wayne."
"I'm James Gordon, and my sister is Emily Gordon." James said when he and his sister remove their masks. "Our mom retired as Batgirl and became the Commissioner.
"Also, Bruce is dead." Ethan said, leaving the Marius siblings shocked.
"No...first Uncle Arthur and now Bruce?" Otlen said in disbelief. "Who else died?"
"Hal Jordon, Clark Kent, Diana, Tim Drake." Ethan answered, given the list of names. "Do I need to go on?"
The Marius siblings looked down at the floor, mentioned the name of the first Superman and the first Wonder Woman. It must've broken their hearts to that they're gone.
"I see...so the world has forgotten about the Justice League and Atlantis." Kida said sadly.
"Yeah, pretty much." Catwoman said, crossed her arms. "But right now, we need answers."
"Don't worry, I got it covered." Red Hood said, drew out his pistol and aims at the assailant. "Tell them the same thing you told me."
The assailant became scared, turns to the Bat Family, Delta, Catwoman, Tsuyu, Sirius, and the Atlanteans who's staring at him with a serious glare on their faces.
"Okay! I'll tell! I was hired by someone, I don't know who and I don't ask questions!"
"Not good enough!" Batman said with a scowl. "How are you paid?"
"In gold! There's a van full of them!"
After they dragged the assailant towards the van, opened the doors from the back where it shown a chest full of gold coins, and gold crosses.
"Spanish doubloons." Batman said, picked one up.
"Where would they get coins like this?" Tsuyu inquires curiously. "No one uses them."
"It's obvious, you get them from Atlantis." Nightwing answered, causing their eyes widen.
"And I know someone who hired that assailant." Olten said when he and his siblings are enraged. "We are grateful for your help, but this is the Atlantean problem. We're going to warn the Queen."
With that, Kida uses her magic to create a portal as they head inside to get to Atlantis. The Bat Family, Delta, Catwoman, Sirius, and Tsuyu are now left alone, hoping for the Marius siblings to survive.
While at Atlantis, the Marius siblings are given their cousin and their aunt an explanation of what they have recently learned while Andrina and Mera listened carefully. Both Mera and Andrina were shocked and sad that Bruce is dead along with Tim Drake, but grateful for Ethan and his team for saving their lives. They're now furious of General Zanox's treachery for hiring an assailant to assassinate the Marius siblings.
"And now here we are, hoping to have a word with the General of his treachery." Otlen said with a serious glare.
Queen Mera is aware of this situation when she called the guards to bring General Zanox in. The gates are open when both of the Atlantean and the Dagon guards dragged General Zanox to the throne room while having him tied in binds made by Atlantean steel and electric enchantment.
"General Zanox, we were informed by the rulers of Dagon, whom you tried to assassinate by having someone you've hired." Queen Mera told him with a serious glare. "And yet, you were trying to get to that technology you spoke of when things didn't go your way."
"That's preposterous! I would never do such a thing!" General Zanox shouts in protest. "I only serve the King of Dagon and the Queen of Atlantis! But after what has transpired, I didn't want this to go unpunished!"
"Be that as it may, but after what we've learned from our subordinates, you were following Orm's ideals to destroy the surface by striking terror into their hearts and hoping to rule Atlantis." Queen Mera remarked calmly. "It's no use try to deny it, General. You can't worm your way out after what we have learned."
General Zanox can only grunt with his eyes widen, but started to grew furious since he won't lie to the rulers.
"Fine! I admit! I did follow Ocean Master's ideals and hoping to destroy the surface dwellers!" General Zanox shouts with a confess, then turns to the Dagon rulers. "I have my high hopes that the three of you would carry out your father's legacy on ruling Atlantis, but no, you decided to carry out your so-called uncle's legacy and his will to rule in peace! So, I use the technology that Ocean Master have left us as a last resort by going online, in order to cause a catastrophe for wiping out mankind with waters!"
"I wouldn't bother with that technology." Andrina told him. "After we've learned from the Dagon, I've sent Aquaman, Aquagirl, and the soldiers to manually shut it down and destroy it."
"NO! NOOOO!" General Zanox yelled, furiously charged after the rulers when Otlean rushed in front of her by delivering a punch to the face, knocking the General down.
"Take Zanox to the dungeon and out of our sight!" Otlen ordered.
The Atlantean and the Dagon soldiers responds by dragging Zanox out of the throne, taken him to the dungeons.
Back at the city, Queen Mera, Andrina, and Marius siblings arrived when they walk through the portal which it got their attention.
"We are in your debt for saving my children's lives." Queen Mera said with a smile. "For that, we thank you."
It got Batman, his team, Tsuyu, and Sirius surprised that the Queen of Atlantis thanked them.
"So, what happens now?" Tsuyu asks.
"Zanox is taken to the dungeon for high treason and assassination attempt." Teal'c explains. "He'll be punished as we see fit."
Otlen could only sighed to himself, feeling guilty.
"But I can only blame myself. We've been focusing on carrying out Uncle Arthur's legacy by protecting Atlantis and Dagon by the surface dwellers." Otlen said. "It cost me dearly by learning that there are some who would follow our father's ideals."
"Don't blame yourself, brother, we all made mistakes." Kida assures her brother. "Maybe we've all been misjudged."
"Perhaps...all we want, all we ever wanted is peace and security for Atlantis and Dagon. And the world." Teal'c said.
"After what happened, it won't be easy, ribbit." Tsuyu points out bluntly.
"I know. But some sacrifices are worth it." Teal'c said, smiled.
It got Tsuyu blushed, averted his gaze and it got her heart fluttering as she realizes that she's started to have a crush on the Atlantean Prince.
