BrianShooter672: Thanks. And to let you know about the Kamino Ward, Doctor Fate and Spectre will also get involved along with Black Adam and Shazam. But the scene of Nighteye's future vision? It almost reminded me of the scene were Captain Americas team and Iron Mans team fight against each other from The Avengers: Civil War movie. I'll see what I can do.
Nightmare on Beast Forest
While at Kamino, both Shigaraki and Kurogiri remained at the bar after the Vanguard Action Squad, Scarecrow, and Prometheus left to the Beast Forest to go after the students and capture Bakugo. Kurogiri is cleaning the glass while Shigaraki plays Solitaire.
"You're sure they'll be alright on their own?" Kurogiri inquires.
"I'm non-playable character at this level, they'll make it work without me." Shigaraki answered. "Besides, this game has totally changed. I've been thinking of it as an RPG, we had some pretty good equips, but we challenge the big boss while still at level one."
Shigaraki then images that his strategy is based on the RPG game where four adventurers were being killed instantly by the boss, who's level 99. But now imagines the four players were leveled up and facing the boss.
"Really, it's more of a simulation game." Shigaraki continued. "I'm the player and I'll use all my little pawns to smash through the heroes ranks. But first, I need to make cracks in this superhuman world. That's where the Vanguard Action Squad of the League of Villains comes on. Who cares if these guys win or lose, the heroes will be scared just because they showed up."
"They're sacrificial pawns?!" Kurogiri exclaims surprisingly.
"Come on, do you really think I'm that heartless?" Shigaraki rhetorically questions with a shrug. "I'd never underestimate their strength. They may have different goals than me, but they're comrades, nonetheless. In the society bound by ridiculous rules, villains aren't the only ones who are being repressed. Let's hope they can pull this off."
Shigaraki then grabs the photo that has an image of Bakugo earned 2nd place as he smirks.
At the forest, Batman, Robin, Tetsutetsu, Kosei, Izuku, and Kota are watching Muscular became terrified when he imagines them as monsters, while covering himself in cloak. Scarecrow is pleased of his experiment and spreading the entire Beast Forest with Fear Toxins.
"Hurry and put the masks on!" Batman quickly suggests as they place their gas mask in their faces.
"Here, kid!" Tetsutetsu said, tosses the gas mask to Kota. "Yaoyarozu made some extras just in case! And now it's time as any!"
Without thinking twice, Kota quickly put his gas mask on to prevent from inhaling the Fear Toxins.
"As always, you're a few steps ahead of me, but it won't do you any good, little bat!" Scarecrow mocks with a smirk. "With my Fear Toxins spreading, it'll be too late to save everyone...including your sidekicks!"
Batman and Robin scowled at the Scarecrow, but Kota widen his eyes in a terrified look on his face.
"You guys get Kota to safety, we'll handle the Scarecrow." Batman said.
"Huh?! Why?" Izuku asks in shock.
"His safety is our priority. Scarecrow is like the Riddler, and he's a whole different level than the others." Batman points out. "Like Muscular, he won't hesitate to kill any of you."
"And he'll give you a taste of those Fear Toxins, like he did too Muscular." Robin adds, but hearing the scream loud enough to hear them. "But it sounds like he's not alone."
"She's right, it sounds like it's coming from the forest!" Kosei exclaims in agreement with dread. "He's turning the entire forest into a horror movie!"
"Oh, it gets worse! Once the Fear Toxins infects the entire civilians, their worse fears will come to live and they'll learn the nature of horror!" Scarecrow told him, earned their attention. "And it's just the beginning, I've been saving those Fear Toxins for later once I finished you off, Batman!"
Batman and Robin then readied their fighting stance when Scarecrow pulls out his scythe and ready his fighting stance.
"Take Kota and get him to safety, now!" Batman said.
Tetsutetsu, Izuku, and Kosei would rather help them fight against the Scarecrow, but with the Fear Toxins spreading and their friends in danger, they need to help them and get Kota to safety. So, the three grabs Kota and Muscular as they began run towards the camp.
"It won't do help, little bat!" Scarecrow taunts. "Because I'm gonna end the legacy of the Batman and you!"
Scarewcrow then charges at them while Batman and Robin does the same. Scarecrow swings his scythe horizontally when Batman ducks and Robin leaps while delivering a kick to the jaw. Batman then punches him right in the gut and deliver a punch to the jaw and a spinning heel kick, making Scarecrow stumble with a grunt. After that, Robin hit Scarecrow right in the sternum with her staff, Batman follows it up with 2 hard punches in the jaw and disarmed his scythe. Scarecrow then start swiping with his finger-like syringes, but Batman blocks it and punches him in the chin. Scarecrow stumbles back while Robin does the front flip and lands behind him as Batman delivers a side kick to the face and Robin delivers a leg sweep, knocking the crazed scientist down to the ground.
Scarecrow then tries to jab him, but Batman grabs hold of his wrist.
"Time to take your medicine, Crane." Batman said as he forces Crane to inject himself with the Fear Toxin in the neck.
Scarecrow then screams in pain when Batman and Robin knocks him down by punching him in the face.
"Help me get him inside." Batman said.
Robin nods as she helps him tie Scarecrow up, taken him to the camp.
While at the camp, Tetsutetsu, Izuku, and Kosei kept dragging Muscular after knocking him out because of the constant screams. They then notice the Arsenal, Zatanna, some students from Class 1-B, Tenya, and Long Shadow arrived with the unconscious Prometheus.
"You guys too?" Shihai inquires.
"Yep!" Tetsutetsu nods as they placed Muscular down with a thud, pants heavily. "Geez, this guy weighs like a ton!"
"Do you need some help?" Long Shadow offers.
"Just leave him there for now, but to let you guys know, Muscular doesn't have powers anymore thanks to Robin." Tetsutetsu explains. "But he's got the Fear Toxin in him."
"We know, it's Scarecrows work." Arsenal points out. "Good thing your friend created those masks for us to use."
"Batman made them for us, but if it's Yaoyarozu, she made some extras." Kosei told him. "But I figured the pink gas is coming from somewhere else. Mustard, I think."
"We'll worry about that later. Right now, we need to find the Scarecrow and..."
Before Zatanna could finish her sentence, they notice Batman and Robin carrying Scarecrow to camp, which he's whimpering in terror when he saw them as demons.
"What happen to him?" Tetsutetsu asks.
"Given him the taste of his own medicine." Batman told him, then puts him down to the ground. "He hid the Fear Toxins around this area without having the League of Villains know where."
"That's what Scarecrow would do." Zatanna agrees. "But with those criminals got infected with the gas, we now got bigger problems."
"Batman, we couldn't find Ragdoll anywhere! The League of Villains caught her before us." Delta informed him, patching through the communication device from his cowl. "And that's not the worst case, we found Mustard who causes the spread of the gas."
"Were you able to take him?" Batman asks.
"Not yet, we're right now covered from behind those trees." Delta replied. "But listen, I'm patching Aizawa through, you might want to hear this."
"Batman, we found out why they're here. They're here for Bakugo and Midoriya." Aizawa told him.
"Muscular said about Bakugo and Midoriya. I've got a pretty good idea about it, they're here to capture them and try to recruit them." Batman informed him.
"What?!" Aizawa exclaims. "Damn! So that's what they're after!"
"I'll contact Nightwing and give him the information." Batman suggested as he then patches Nightwing through.
The Fear Toxins are continuing to spread in the forest, Mandalay, Tiger, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Nightwing were fighting against Magne and Spinner. Having gotten the woman away from the magnet, Tiger, Catwoman, and Nightwing are teaming up to fight Magne. Magne was having trouble of blocking their attacks while getting hit from Nightwing and Tiger. Mandalay and Batgirl were about to finish him when the Fear Toxin spreads around in the area.
"Damn, hurry up and put on the masks! Now!" Red Hood warns them.
"What about you?" Catwoman asks, turns to him.
"My mask has filters, so I won't get affected by the gas!" Red Hood points out. "Now hurry up!"
And with that, they put on their gas masks which it got Magne and Spinner confused, wondering why they were putting the masks on. But it got them realizing the Fear Toxin is spreading which it got Magne and Spinner affected, causing them to groan and notice the imagines of the heroes and the students are demons with flames snarled in their nostrils, dead-white eyes, and the background was like the burning grounds filled with burnt trees, volcano erupted, and the dead merged out of the ground along with the Devil himself. Both Magne and Spinner began to widen their eyes with horror, causing them to scream.
Nightwing and Batgirl knocks them out.
"What's going on? The gas is spreading around the forest!" Tiger exclaims. "Unless..."
"Scarecrow, he must've used the Fear Toxins early than I thought." Red Robin cuts in. "He didn't waste time."
"But why would he do that to those villains?" Mandalay inquires.
"Scarecrow doesn't play well with others, he's the type who likes to do it alone and his own way." Catwoman answered. "Which you're already seeing it right now."
"Nightwing, this Batman, we've got some information." Batman said, patching through.
"Did you got Crane?" Nightwing asks.
"Yes, and we got Muscular and Prometheus. Delta and Aizawa are still working on fighting against Mustard." Batman informed him.
"Good, that should take care of these clowns." Batgirl said. "But, we still need to find the Fear Toxins and stop it from spreading. Trying to find them in the middle of the night in the forest is like finding a needle in a haystack."
"That's where I come in. I was able to find the locations of the Fear Toxins, it's hidden in between those tunnels at the mountain areas. The only option is split into groups and find them." Iwao explains.
"Did you get all that?" Batgirl asks.
"Yeah." Batman replied.
"Alright, what did you find out?" Nightwing questions.
"The League of Villains are targeting Izuku and Bakugo since they're on the list. They're going to capture them and plan to recruit as one of them." Batman explains. "They're targeting the students, but with the Fear Toxin spreading around, their plan is thrown out of the window because of Crane."
The Pro Heroes and the students were shocked of Batmans information, but it didn't surprise the Bat Family, Delta, Catwoman, the Arrow Team, or the Justice League because of Scarecrow's goal. Mandalay then remembered something.
"Wait, is Kota alright? Is he safe?" Mandalay questions which it got Nightwing's attention.
"She asked you is Kota alright." Nightwing told him.
"He's inside of the camp, along with some of the students. They're keeping an eye on those criminals until the police arrive." Batman informed. "Right now, our focus is find the Fear Toxins and stop it from spreading."
"You got it." Nightwing said, ending transmission as he turns to them. "Alright, listen up! I need you guys form a group, split up, and find those Fear Toxins that are inside of the tunnels in the mountain areas!"
"And who makes you in charge of this situation?!" Pixie-Bob demands angrily. "We need to get the students back to camp and take down those villains!"
"Back off, bitch!" Red Hood remarked, aiming his pistol at her. "With the Fear Toxins spreading and the criminals around, taking the students to safety is like leading them into a death trap. Also, there are more criminals skulking around in the middle of the forest and stop the gas from spreading."
Pixie-Bob didn't like the remark which Red Hood does made a valid point as they readied their fighting stance.
"He has a point." Nightwing agrees, stops the fight. "We need all the help we can get."
"What?! You can't be serious!" Mandalay exclaims. "These students need to get back to camp!"
"And we will, once we find those Fear Toxins and stop it." Batgirl suggests. "Right now, we need to form a group and split up. Sooner we stop the Fear Toxins, the sooner we'll get them to safety."
The Wild, Wild Pussycats didn't like the idea of putting the students in danger, but with the villains still lurking around and with the Fear Toxins spreading somewhere in the mountain areas, they didn't have any other options but to trust them.
"Wind Dragon, once we stop the gas, we need you to purify it with the wind powers of yours." Nightwing suggests, earned a nod from him. "Alright, pair up and find the Fear Toxins!"
And with that, some of the students paired up with the Bat Family, Catwoman, the Pussycats, and Vlad King while Wind Dragon stays behind along with Tokoyami and Shoji.
"Split up and find the Fear Toxins, and be careful." Nightwing warned them. "There's no telling if those scumbags are affected or not."
Then, they split up to look for the Fear Toxins.
Bakugo is now affected with the Fear Toxins, screaming in horror when he saw an image of Moonfish that look like a demonic anglerfish with teeth spitting out of its mouth. It causes him to flinch in fear when Shoto uses his ice Quirk to form a wall, blocking the attack.
"You should've put your mask on when you clearly saw Fear Toxin in front of you!" Shoto shouts.
"Have to keep going! Have to work! Do my job!" Moonfish howled as stood above Bakugo, Shoto, and the Arrow Team, using his Quirk.
Apparently, just like the Scarecrow, he's creepy and even scary. His Quirk called Blade Tooth, grants him to enlarge and reshape their teeth into razor-sharp blades. The blades can vary in both size and shape. He can also manipulate the length and direction of the teeth at will.
This ability also allows the criminal to commit his killing spree that got him placed on death row, and now, he's free to use it again.
Green Arrow fires his arrow at Moonfish, causing the arrow to let out a sonic sound that's similar to Black Canary's power. It got Shoto covering his ears and Moonfish to scream in pain from the sound. Speedy then fires an arrow, splits into three as it then explodes, knocking Moonfish out along with destroying his blades. But Moonfish somehow recovers as he uses his Quirk to launch the blades at them, causing Shoto to conjure ice walls to block the attack. Green Arrow then fires his arrow, but Moonfish dodged and lands next to a tree.
"Shit! This guy is persistent!" Green Arrow grunts an annoyance.
"That's because he's good at moving through this terrain with his Quirk!" Shoto points out.
"And it's not helping for listening to that damn screaming coming from that chicken wuss over there!" Speedy said, annoyed of Bakugo's screaming when Moonfish launches himself up with his Quirk. "By the looks of that guy, this isn't his first rodeo."
"Show me! Show me your exquisite flesh!" Moonfish snarled as Speedy knocks Bakugo out.
"With Bakugo out of action, we still need to get his ass back to camp so we can put the antidote on him!" Green Arrow suggests. "But I don't think this crazed cannibal will let us go easily."
"The only option right now is to take him down." Speedy told her brother.
"And even if we retreat, there's poison gas mixed with Fear Toxins." Shoto adds with a glare, glances at the forest area behind him. "They're actually trying to driving us into a corner."
While at the forest area, both Delta and Aizawa are taking cover from the trees behind them since they weren't even able to find Ragdoll. They've learned that the League of Villains have captured her during the investigation when they only saw a bloodied table and knocked-out candles. Now, both Delta and Aizawa are fighting against Mustard who's responsible for spreading pink gas in the forest, which the villain didn't realize that Scarecrow spread the entire Beast Forest.
"Okay, this is getting nowhere and Mustard isn't making it easy for us since he somehow found us." Delta said with a glare, holding her M4A1. "And as far as I can tell, his Quirk can only spread in one area."
"Yes, but we didn't get any information that. It means it didn't spread around the forest, like Scarecrows gas did. And it's moving very slow." Aizawa explains. "Normally, it would spread the entire forest, but it stays in one place."
"Not to mention it's denser than where we're trying to find Ragdoll." Delta adds. "And now that I think about it, it's been swirling around in one place, somewhere near here, like a typhoon."
"Then we need to find Mustard and take him down, because these two types of gas will make it worse than it already is." Aizawa suggests as he and Delta ran through the gas. "But once we find Mustard, I'm gonna use my Quirk to erase it and you can take him down."
Delta nods as she readies her assault rifle.
But at the center of the typhoon, Mustard is standing still while spreading the gas, but it got him very angry when he learned of the Scarecrow spreading the entire forest area with Fear Toxins. Then, he heard loud footsteps that was coming at his direction.
"Three? No, two people are heading straight for me. I guess a few of them avoiding my gas and realized I'm here, I should've expected that from a prestigious school." Mustard said, then pulls out a revolver from his jacket. "Then again, Scarecrow did say he turns this forest into a living horror. But still..."
Aizawa then reveals himself from the gas, erased his Quirk while Delta fired her M4A1 at Mustard, making him discard his revolver. Delta then knocked him out with the hilt of the assault rifle from behind as the poison gas disappears.
"That's four down, and six more to go." Delta said.
"Help me get him back to camp." Aizawa suggests, binding Mustard with his cloth. "Once we're done, we'll help them find the Fear Toxins."
Delta nods as she helps Aizawa drag Mustard to camp.
After a few minutes of searching the Fear Toxins, some were able to find it and stop the spreading, but they're still looking for them. Wind Dragon starts working on using his wind power to purify the Fear Toxins, which he's plan to blow them away after this. However, Shoji notice something was wrong with Tokoyami, who's having trouble controlling his Quirk, which it's getting stronger during the night. Shoji widen his eyes as Dark Shadow appears, about to assault Wind Dragon when he quickly grabs hold of him and dodged the attack.
"Shoji, what are you doing?" Wind Dragon questions.
"Saving you. Guess we forgot to tell you that Tokoyami's Quirk gets stronger by night, it makes his Dark Shadow very aggressive and hard to control." Shoji explains. "And that time, he's been acting off during the past few days."
It got Wind Dragon widen his eyes when they heard a loud growl, gotten their attention. In front of them, they could see what kind of threat they were facing.
"But if we want to get out of this and clear the gas, we're gonna have to face the Dark Shadow first." Shoji said.
They then saw Dark Shadow is getting completely out of control. The once gentle, small shadow that's shaped like Tokoyami during the day was now a monstrous creature that's destroying everything in its path. It's much larger with a monstrous head, glowing red eyes, and massive claws. And tangled in its body was Tokoyami.
"STAY AWAY! FROM ME! YOU'LL DIE!" Tokoyami yelled desperately.
He still has some consciousness, he's losing control of the Quirk fast. It won't be long before Dark Shadow took over him completely and destroy the entire area.
Then, the Dark Shadow began to roar.
