The Fourth time Peppy notices a Hickey on Poppy's neck was when they were at the beach. It was summer time and Viva wanted to head to the beach for a cool day with her family so Poppy and him were just relaxing on the beach chairs after a while.
"Hey, Poppy I thought you said Branch would join us?" The blonde troll questioned as she looked at her younger sister who was basking in the sun. "He'll be off in five minutes." The Pop Queen responded just focused on the warm sun beamed down at him. "What do you mean?" Viva questioned, she was wondering if he had a job. "He and Smidge are lifeguards in the summer so that trolls won't drown." The Pop Queen looked at her dad straight in the eyes with a knowing look. "That was one time!" The elder troll said as he tried to defend himself. "Dad, that happened 5 times." Poppy revealed as she rolled her eyes playfully while Viva looked on in amusement.
"Okay!" Poppy got up from her chair and turned to face Viva and her dad. "I'm going to look for Branch because his shift is most likely over by now and I'll meet you guys back here." The Pop Queen announced as she started walking in the direction she knew Branch would be at leaving Him and Viva all alone.
Ever since Poppy and Branch started their relationship he didn't want to admit it but he felt lonely, he was happy for Poppy but he was worried that she was going to spend more time with Branch but not with him. Luckily her and Branch always visit him together, but he was even more grateful for Viva to come back in his life and they find themselves enjoying each other's company and presence.
The elder troll looked at Viva and smiled warmly towards her. "I'm glad to be spending time with you today." Peppy said as he immediately noticed her eyes lighting up. Me too dad." Viva replied. They sat there in silence for fifteen minutes just enjoying the scenery around them as they waited for Poppy and Branch to come down and join them which felt like forever.
After awhile, Peppy was contemplating on looking for the couple but he immediately noticed them heading in their direction. He watched as they were holding hands but then he saw it again.
Three round marks that were directly heading towards her breast, this made him realize that if she was a teenager he would have freaked out but she was an adult, she was allowed to do whatever she wanted. His train of thought was interrupted when Viva greeted the couple. "You're just in, we are about to have lunch." The blonde announced as she held out the picnic basket that was beside her.
"That's sounds perfect I'm really hungry." Branch said as Viva handed him a sandwich along with a juice box which he immediately gave to Poppy whom thanked him.
The family ate their lunch together just enjoying the day with each other. Peppy just sighed happily looking around at his love ones around them and also noticing how many times Poppy and Branch just staring at each other loving eyes.
