All was normal at the Orebrugh Museum. It was a regular workday for all of the rangers. Joe was collecting the cash and counting it in the manager's office. Thomas and Jo were with Roark at meetings, planning for the next event. Grayson was at customer service for ticket sales. Leona was cooking in the food court with Kyland. Lisa was giving the tour while Mack and Atticus were on security.
Lisa decided to dress professionally today, wearing a pink blouse and white pants with a green flower like jacket. As she had her clipboard and her white shoes, she was leading a crew.
"So… we are going to go to the Sinnoh Fossil museum. One of my favorite Prehistoric Pokémon is in this exhibit and you get a chance to see up close and personal… now that we have technology to revive extinct Pokémon," she said.
As they headed to the Sinnoh exhibit, the tour crew was amazed at the look of all of Rampardos and Cranidos that are in one spot and the Shieldon with the Bastiodon in the other. As everyone was amazed, Lisa grinned as she sat next to the Bastiodon exhibit. Turning around, she noticed someone familiar, staring her down. She shook her head the moment she saw the head. He was wearing a grey polo shirt and a pair of jeans. His dark brown eyes darted at Lisa and he had black spiky hair toward the front. Next to him was a tan-skinned woman with a purple dress. She had green hair down to her upper arms with amber eyes. She grinned as she followed him to Lisa.
"Hello…," he said. Lisa realized that it was Dan McBride, her ex-boyfriend with possibly a new girlfriend.
"Hi again," said Lisa, shaking hands.
"You… still have a sore spot don't you?" he asked.
"Kind of. And who are you?" asked Lisa.
"My name is Jackie Gioberti. Dan has told me all about you," she said.
"Ah… aren't you the top coordinator?" asked Lisa, curious to ask. Jackie nodded as she looked at Dan. Lisa grinned as she went to stand up, "Well, it's nice to see that you two make such a great couple. It's so nice to meet you… Well, I have to get to back to work."
"How's the nursing gig going along?" he asked, walking over whispering into her ear, "Oh wait, it's a cover up for your real job."
Lisa grumbled as she elbowed him in the stomach. Jackie stood in shock as Lisa walked over, "Forgive me. He deserved it… everyone! We're going to go to the Unova Section!"
As Lisa walked away with the rest of the toursits, Joe was observing what happened in the exhibit, doing his rounds. Joe decided to walk up toward her as the pink ranger continued her walk. Joe walked over, "So, that was unprofessional."
"Joe, he's here… and he was being a jerk!" Lisa stated.
"Who's here?" asked Joe.
"Macho Man and his girlfriend," Lisa muttered as she was taking the crew to the Unova exhibit. Joe turned around as he looked at Dan, who was about ten people behind. He then noticed Jackie. Jackie stopped to look at Joe. Joe sighed as he looked at her, "Jackie…"
"Joseph… how are you?" he asked, "And how's Adam?"
"Adam is doing fine… I am doing fine," said Joe, grinning, "I hope you all have a great time…"
Dan walked over as he looked at him, "You still mad over what happened in Pastoria?"
"Well, even though we saved your butt, you still have bad taste…," he said, whispering into Dan's ear, "She cheated on my brother… I wouldn't take chances."
Joe grinned as Dan went to swing at Joe. Joe blocked Dan's fist and threw him on the ground. As Dan coughed up, he used his right leg and kicked Joe in the head. Joe released his grasp as he landed on the ground. Dan turned around as he stood to fight, "Let's go!"
Before Joe could get up, Atticus and Mack were already there to break up the fight. Mack turned around as he looked at Lisa, seeing the jealousy, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," said Lisa.
Dan was grabbed by Atticus as he turned around, "You know you could let me go and save the trouble… the last thing I want to do is reveal your identities."
"And the last thing we need from you is your attitude… oh and I can kick you out of the museum," said Joe.
Immediately, the whole museum went silent. Dan laughed as he was let go, and then turned to Lisa, "Oh you guys… it's a shame. You know what would even be more fun?"
He turned around as he looked at the others. Others went about their business and Jackie stayed out of it. Dan grinned as he looked at him, "It would be funny if I were the tenth ranger."
"Oh please… to work with you, I might as well send you back in Killergatr's grave," said Lisa.
"Yeah, no offense… we don't work with people whose butt don't smell," said Joe, "It doesn't work that way."
"Besides," said Atticus, waving the crystal, "The crystals choose us… not you. So, unless you are worthy of being the tenth ranger, stay out of our ranger business. Unless you think you can do it and get killed in the process, then have at it."
Lisa turned around as she looked at Jackie. Jackie shook her head as she looked at him, "I knew coming here was a big mistake."
"Big mistake?" asked Lisa.
"Yeah," said Jackie, looking at the visitors, seeing that they were ready to move on, "You do have a job to get to."
"I know. How about this? I'm almost done with this tour. Want to grab lunch?' asked Lisa, "I will explain it all…"
Jackie grinned as she looked at her, "I'd like that."
Lisa grinned as she turned to Jackie. Jackie looked around as she noticed the Carracostas floating up in the glass ceiling, "How did Roark manage this?"
"Well, that's a good question," said Lisa as both were laughing, "With someone who has plenty of gym leader experience and not enough museum experience… I am surprised the glass ceiling is still standing."

Chapter 35: Exes and Besties
Ferro Fett's Ship…
"Where have you been?" asked Cremelia. Maracturne has not been in their portion of the world for a matter of days after what happened with the Super Bowl Trophy in Veilstone Stadium. He looked mentally exhausted as he pushed through the doors. The last thing he needed was to be interrogated by one of his own crew members.
Maracturne was walking toward the bridge as he sat down. He freaked out as he looked at her, "Remember that Gatekeeper… the Lunar Warrior?"
"Yeah?" asked Cremelia.
Maracturne gulped as he turned around to look at her. He sat down as he looked up at the ceiling, "Those two Hoenn Rangers… with the help of the Gatekeeper, sent me to the Underworld… I was almost mince meat with whoever was running the underground. They sent me back…"
"The underworld? So, you were in purgatory!" she said, excitedly. Maracturne sighed as he looked at her, "It's no longer that. It was until the Mystic Force Rangers sealed whoever they sealed… now, it's used to punish evil villains… and purify them to be good."
"No… just no! It's okay to be bad," said Cremelia, waving her finger, "I was also hoping if you ran into Ferro Fett."
"What makes you say that?" asked Maracturne.
Cremelia raised her shoulders, "I liked him… until Gircannon made him a monster. Maybe his soul is in the underworld."
Maracturne sighed, "Well, I do miss him. I miss his table flipping… but we can make people really feel miserable."
Cremelia looked up to his response. Maracturne jumped up as he put his hand on Cremelia's shoulder, "Come on, buddy. Let's give Sinnoh a reason why we're bad."
As the two of them left the bridge, Lionel poked his head out as he stepped out of the conference room. He shook his head as he was looking at them, "Uh huh… so what are you planning?"
Oreburgh Museum…
Lisa and Jackie were sitting across from either side as they were in the cafeteria of the museum. One of the top restaurants that sells pasta products was recently added into the museum as both were ready to talk. Looking across, there was a Machoke walking toward the table with a black apron, smiling as he approached Lisa and Jackie with food.
"Machoke!" he said with a smile.
"Thanks!" said Lisa, grinning, "Now don't trip and fall like last time…"
Machoke laughed as he placed his hand on the back of his forehead, walking away from the comment. Jackie turned around as she looked at him, "Trip and fall?"
"Yeah, he slipped on something shiny and almost broke his leg… guess who was on call?" asked Lisa, pointing to herself.
"Wow… so what do you actually do?" asked Jackie, "Dan said something about you being a Poké Ranger, but-."
"Well… that's not really my main job, but it is my primary responsibility. That's why we are all working with Roark. We have to be on call 24-7 until this thing is over. My apartment is paid for through Roark and I work two jobs… this being one. The other one pays for my nursing school," said Lisa.
"What's the other job?" asked Jackie.
"I specialize in Pokémon aromatherapy," said Lisa, grinning as she went to take a bite. As she swallowed, she turned to explain more, "My cousin is Erika, the Celadon City Gym Leader. We share a business together."
"Wait… your cousin is the head of Celadon Aromatherapy?" asked Jackie, "That business is booming. That means you were probably at the Jubilife Festival not too long ago."
"Bingo," said Lisa, laughing, as she was eating, "Yeah… that got trashed by Ferro Fett's cronies quickly. I am hoping the festival will come back after all of this."
Jackie nodded in response, eating her food, "So, are you going to be a Pokémon Nurse too?"
"Yeah… I figured in a few years, I work part time at the aromatherapy place and work full time alongside Nurse Joy in Celadon City," said Lisa, sipping her soda that was out on the table, "That is… when Sinnoh finally gets through this whole thing."
Jackie turned around as she looked at him, "You know, Dan never stopped talking about you since you guys saved him in Pastoria."
"Really?" asked Lisa, "Then, why is he being such a jerk like he was when we first met him? He had a change of heart when we left."
Jackie raised her eyebrows, "Because of money."
"Money?" asked Lisa, looking at Jackie. Jackie sighed as she turned around to look. No one was paying attention as she hunched over, "Jackie, I cheated on Joe's brother over a business deal."
"What?" asked Lisa, looking at Jackie, "Why?"
"We were going to buy some of the ranch to have our vineyards. My parents own a place called Braver Crest up in the northwest corner of Valor Lakefront," said Jackie, "We were hoping to work with the Cartwrights to bring berries so we can make wonderful wines. Well, there was no deal. Apparently, Joe's dad didn't approve of it and didn't like me much… and seeing Dan was more of a friend, we started seeing each other more. We met on Melemele Island around a year ago. It broke Adam's heart… hence why Joe is upset with me."
Lisa shrugged, "To be honest, what you did was wrong. And honestly, love is more important than money."
"Well, Dan is rich too… but he is kind of a jerk when he's around me," said Jackie, "It's like he needs to show off his manliness to impress."
Lisa giggled as she looked at him, "That's Dan. I used to date him. I know."
"You did?" asked Jackie.
"That was a long time ago…," said Lisa, "He hated me for my dreams. Hence why when I'm with him there's always that tension… it's a tension that never goes away. He's the man that can't be tamed."
Jackie laughed as she turned to him, "Don't worry. I'll make sure of it."
"You know, I like you already," said Lisa, laughing, "Um, so when can Mack and I stop by to try out your famous wine?"
"You never had Braver Crest wine?" asked Jackie, looking at Lisa. Lisa shook her head as she grinned with happiness. Jackie laughed as she looked at her, "How about this? I will pay for any of your fragrances to try and you can try a glass and buy a bottle from me?"
"Business proposition?" asked Lisa.
"Among friends," Jackie replied, giggling. As the two started laughing, they gazed their eyes at Dan, who sat down next to them. Dan grinned as he looked at Lisa, "So, how's the stone searching?"
Lisa knew exactly what he meant by that, "If you are talking about those secret stones… the search is going well."
"Hmm…," said Dan, stretching his hand over Jackie and placing it on his shoulder, "That's great."
Lisa looked at Dan as Jackie turned to him, "Hey, chill a little bit. We're in public."
"Babe, I don't want to…," said Dan.
"Well, get over it," said Jackie, "And stop whining."
Lisa giggled as she went to finish her soda. As she turned around, Mack arrived. Mack sat down, across from Dan as he put his hands on Lisa's shoulders, "How are you doing my fine maiden?"
"Lovely," said Lisa, "I love that you treat me like a queen."
Dan's face went from being happy to jealous in five seconds. Jackie elbowed him in the gut as Lisa grinned. Jackie turned to Mack, "So, I know for you it's a long story. But, Mack… when was the last time you had wine?"
Mack scratched his chin as he looked at Lisa. He then turned around, "Not too long ago?"
"I invite you both to come to Braver Crest so you can have a taste of the wine!" said Jackie, "Would you like to go?"
Mack turned around as he looked at Lisa. Mack grinned as he turned to Jackie, "I love it already. Thank you for the hospitality."
Dan rolled his eyes. Before Mack or anyone could say anything, Lisa's Dino Com started going off. Grabbing it, she turned to Mack as they went to stand up, "There's been an attack. We got to go. We'll talk later?"
"Yeah, we will be here another day," said Jackie, grinning, "It was nice meeting you!"
Mack nodded as Lisa followed him out the door, dashing out. Dan turned around as Jackie looked at him, "Jackie, why are you being so nice to my ex?"
"… You don't know ANYTHING about being humble do you? Lisa was right…" Jackie said, rolling her eyes.
Outside the museum, a few of the Mook Knights were running around, using their weapons as bait. Their weapons slashed through, destroying a few things in the area. Lisa and Mack bolted outside, running down the hill. Mack turned around as he grabbed one of them, kicking him the creature to the ground. He then took out his Golden Amber Saber and slashed the other Mook Knight behind him. Lisa used a few spinning hook kicks, knocking the Mook Knights to the ground. She then grabbed her Fossil Blaster as she pierced them with blast burns. As the Mook Knights fell, the two rangers turned around as they saw someone very freaky.
It was a humanoid Chestnaught creature. The Chestnaught creature carried a brown barrel that was attached to the back with straps. The creature had black and red spiky fists. One fist had some hole with a pipe through it, connecting to the barrel. The other was a normal hand. As the Chestnaught creature grabbed a Tomato Berry on the ground, it sucked it in as the barrel began to shake. Laughing there was a red poffin that popped out as he ate it. In his right hand, a black and green flamethrower appeared. Pulling the trigger, streams of fire emerged as the two rangers dodged the attack.
"What the hell?" asked Lisa.
"My name is the Poffin Master!"
"Poffin Master?" asked Mack, "So… you plan on using treats for weaponry?"'
"Precisely! Here's another attack!"
Releasing another stream of flame, Lisa and Mack split up as the flames missed. Lisa turned around as she looked at Mack, "Shall we?"
Mack nodded as the two rangers grabbed their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Doing their usual routine, the rangers placed their chargers in their designated slots of the morphers. Mack pulled on his morpher while Lisa spun the blaster, "Unleash the Power!"
Flashes of pink and gold surrounded them as they transformed into their suits. Lisa turned around as she dragged the blaster along her shoulder.
"Dino Armor, engage!"
As her armor appeared, the Bastiodon Drill materialized. As she flipped over, a pink aura surrounded her weapon as she went for the attack, "Bulldoze!"
As she went to dig through, Poffin Master began to shake as he landed on his bum. Mack turned around as he withdrew his Golden Amber Saber, "Thunder Strike!"
Yellow bolts surrounded his saber as he went to strike down, only for Poffin Master to miss. Poffin Master laughed as he looked at them, "My friends, you really can't stop me!"
As he went into take another fruit, black beams shot across, hitting the creature in the chest. The two rangers turned around as Joe arrived with his Armaldo Blaster, "Looks like we got some uninvited guests."
Poffin Master turned around as he looked at the three of them, "Looks like my plan will have to stop for now. See you again!"
Aiming his weapon, an explosion appeared, causing the rangers to duck. As the smoke cleared, he was already gone. Lisa threw a fist into her other palm as she grabbed her Fossil Blaster, removing the charger. Flashes of pink, gold and black arrived as their suits disappeared.
"What was that all about?" asked Lisa.
"Yeah," said Mack, "That was weird… and random."
"Random? "Obviously not," said Joe, "What could he do anyway? Eat poffins and make them weapons?"
"Pretty much. But that's not a good problem either. What if he depletes the berry trees in the region?" asked Lisa, "That could be a problem."
"We should probably meet up with the others. Tell them what's going on," Mack suggested. Joe nodded as the three of them returned to the museum entrance.
Meanwhile…
Jackie and Dan were walking down the street, hand in hand as they were heading toward the exit of the museum. As the two were heading back to the hotel, conversations transpired about Lisa and the things that were going on. The fact that there was an attack was understandable, but Jackie was curious to know more about why Dan is the way he is.
"So…," said Dan as he was walking toward her, "I am surprised that you and Lisa got along."
"Well, I did invite her to Braver Crest," said Jackie, grinning. Dan grumbled as he turned to her, "Seriously?"
"What?" asked Jackie, "Get over it. You're with me and Lisa moved on. I'll be honest, Mack has a lot more class than you."
Dan narrowed his eyes as Jackie looked up, "That's it… you're jealous of Mack."
"Me?" Dan asked, "No. I am more jealous that Lisa found someone that would make her happy. I told her she could never find happiness again."
Jackie froze as she turned to Dan, "Well, that was rude. During the breakup?"
"Yeah," said Dan.
Jackie laughed, "Dan, that's all in the past. But, you say that to me when the shoe falls, you are going to wish you never met me."
Dan grinned as he turned to Jackie, "Who said I was going to?"
Their conversation was interrupted by the smell of strawberries or some type of sweet berry smells that invaded their nostrils. Dan turned around as Jackie followed him. As the smell got stronger, the two of them found a wonderful place where there were two golden challises. Each challis had a glass of juice. Dan turned around as he looked at what was going on.
"This is nice," said Dan, picking it up.
"What is it?" asked Jackie.
"This is a glass of wine that was left… but there's only two seats," said Dan.
Jackie turned around as she looked at him. Dan grinned as he raised the glass. Jackie grinned as they clink the glasses, "Bottoms up."
As they began to sip, a blue and red aura surrounded them as evil laughter filled. Jackie and Dan spat out the juice as Dan turned around, "You are such a self-centered jerk. I am sure you heard about my bad habits through Lisa."
"I am seeing your bad habits…. At least I am not prideful. Look at yourself!" Jackie shouted.
As the two were arguing, Poffin Master laughed as he was looking at them. He turned around as Maracturne was looking at them, "As the stomach churns…"
"I can make weapons and break people apart," he said, laughing.
"As you should!" said Maracturne.
"Well, I know one thing, Dan. At least you'll never get the secret ingredient of Braver Crest," said Jackie, "You want everything else."
"I plan on getting that ingredient to help my Pokémon thrive," he said.
"Not if I have to give up the family crest to do it!" Jackie shouted.
"Oh, you mean that secret stone that was found decades ago that could be linked to something powerful? Good luck, Jackie," said Dan, turning around as he went to leave the area. Jackie grumbled as she turned around, heading toward the city. Maracturne peaked through as he turned around, looking at Poffin Master.
"Did she just say secret stone?" asked Maracturne.
"I believe so…," said Poffin Master.
"Well," said Maracturne, stretching his hands out, "I knew you were powerful at weapon making, but I didn't know you could get people to spill the tea. Let's get going."
Lisa's Apartment…
"Ah…," Lisa said as she stepped out of the shower. As she grabbed her bathrobe to put around her, she walked out as she headed to the bedroom of the apartment to change her clothes. Within minutes, she was dressed in a pink t-shirt with white sweatpants. As she walked toward the couch to read a book, there was a knock on the door. Rolling her eyes, she got up from the couch as she headed toward the front door. Turning the knob and pulling it forward, it was Jackie. As Lisa could see, Jackie was upset.
"Jackie! What happened… where's Dan?" she asked.
"Don't bring up… Dan. That jerk!"
She walked in as she slammed the door. Lisa sighed as she closed the door. Jackie turned around as she landed herself on the couch, "Angry about you and Mack coming over for wine… he's an insolent fool. I could see why you dumped him. Good for you!"
Lisa rolled her eyes as she went to look at the television, "You know what helps me when it comes to relationship issues?"
"What?" asked Jackie.
Lisa grinned as she reached for her remote, "What romcom do you want to watch?"
Meanwhile…
Mack placed his saber on the shelf in his apartment as he went to the bathroom. Walking into the bathroom, he was wearing a white polo shirt with black diamonds and jeans. As he was looking at his hair, he had it all somewhat in order as he looked at the mirror.
"I am looking marvelous for my love…," he said, grinning as he turned to hear Monferno making cries in the background, "What are you doing?"
He could also hear Squirtle arguing. Mack turned around as he noticed the two of them were about to have their own battle. Squirtle released a Water Gun attack, hitting Monferno. Monferno shook it off as he went to scratch Squirtle. Mack turned around as he looked at them, "Return both of you!"
As he grabbed his Poké Balls, the red beams struck them, confining them to their Poké Balls. He turned around as he placed them on his belt. Mack turned around as he was sniffing something, something sweet. He looked down as he noticed two pink Poffins that were bitten. He remembered getting them for his Pokémon before he went home. Looking at the poffins, he noticed something odd. There was black powder in them, "This is weird… and I was just feeding them before I went out."
He looked up as he heard a knock on the door. Mack walked over as he went to open the door. As he did, Joe walked inside, "Hey… I heard the ruckus. You okay?"
"Yeah… my Pokémon are acting strange," he said, looking at the Poffin. Joe walked over as he examined it, "What in the world?"
"Yeah… the Poffin looks like mold…," said Mack.
"But, mold would smell awful…," said Joe.
Mack raised his finger as he turned to Joe, "Only one maiden would probably know…"
"Jo!" said Joe.
"And Lisa!" Mack responded. Joe looked at Mack with confusion as he walked out of the apartment with Joe behind him. As Mack walked over toward the other corridor, he could hear Lisa and someone else laughing down the hall, that's how thin the walls are. Mack turned around as he opened the door to her apartment. Lisa invited more people from what it looked like. Leona, Jo, Lisa and Jackie were watching a romcom while laughing. There were two wine bottles on the table. Lisa laughed as she turned to see Mack. Getting up from the couch, Lisa walked over with her arms around him, "Hi, honey."
"You've been drinking, my fair maiden," he said.
"Yeah," she said, smiling. Mack sighed as he looked at her, "I need your help… actually, both you and Jo."
"For what?" asked Jo.
"My Pokémon ate Poffin that was honestly rotten… and both started having a Pokémon Battle in my apartment," said Mack, showing the poffin to Jo. Jo turned around as she looked at it, "That is so weird."
"I know…," said Mack.
"Hmmm… I guess I can take a look," she said, taking both poffins, "We were having such a great time too."
"Yeah," Leona said, "We're cheering Jackie up with some romcoms…"
"You and Dan are having a fight?" asked Joe.
Jackie rolled her eyes as she turned around to Joe, "Yes, Joe. And I appreciate it if you don't up the ante."
"I wasn't going to say anything. I am sorry that you are going through it," said Joe.
Jackie turned around as she looked at Lisa. Lisa nodded as Jackie turned to her. Jackie went to grab the bottle of wine that was open, pouring it. As she was, the door opened. Lisa looked up as Dan walked inside. The last thing she needed was a huge blowout. Dan grinned as Lisa walked in front of him, "You shouldn't be here right now."
"I'm here to get my girl… not you!" he said.
"Well, no need to be so rude… what is with you?" asked Mack.
"Zip it…" Dan said.
Mack turned around as he looked at him. He knew he was a very prideful man, but never used that tone of voice. As Mack turned around, Jackie went to grab Dan. As the two started fighting, red sparks surrounded them. As the two continued fighting, red and yellow sparks glitched. Lisa turned around as she grabbed her Fossil Blaster. The rangers turned around as Lisa found a grey charger.
"Sing Charger, Energize!" said Lisa.
Joe and Mack turned to Jo and Leona. Jo quickly reached into her purse as she grabbed the earplugs. Joe, Mack and Leona quickly dodged out of the way as Lisa pulled the trigger.
Jiggly… puff!
The song of Jigglypuff filled the air as Jackie and Dan stumbled. The two of them crashed on the floor. Lisa turned around as the others returned. Jo turned around as she went to grab her purse, picking out a purple device. As she scanned the individuals, she turned to see a green and red aura. Lisa looked up as Jackie looked at it, "Wow… they must've ingested something really bad to act like this."
"Probably… or maybe they inhaled something," said Lisa, turning to the violet ranger.
"Yeah… I am going to have to go to Dino Paradise-."
Suddenly, a blue lightning bolt struck the ground as everyone landed on Lisa's couch. Smoke filled the air as there was someone laughing in the background. As the smoke cleared, Poffin Master arrived as he looked at them, "Hello!"
"Get out of my apartment!" Lisa shouted, angrily.
"I am…," said Poffin Master, grabbing Jackie and Dan with both arms. Jackie and Dan were squirming to break free, "It's going to be fun!"
A pink and red aura surrounded the creature as Poffin Master disappeared. The rangers hopped off the couch as they noticed the burn marks. Jo turned around as she looked at the others, "Why?"
Lisa turned around as she noticed as she saw Jackie's purse on the ground. As she knelt, she went to pick it up. As she did, she noticed a Braver Crest business card. Picking it up, she saw the design and a stone design… similar to what they were looking for, "Guys… I think we have the solution to the problem."
"Problem?" asked Leona, looking at the card, "That looks like…"
"One of the 18 stones we need?" asked Lisa, "Apparently, it's part of Braver Crest Winery."
"So… that doesn't answer the question of why Jackie and Dan are arguing… and Monferno and Squirtle fighting," said Joe.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps could be heard from outside. The rangers turned around as Grayson and Atticus dashed through. Grayson took a huge breath as he looked at them, "What's going on?"
"Guys… Kyland and Thomas have been fighting over silly things and we've seen Pokémon fight in Oreburgh City. We found rotten Poffins everywhere," said Atticus.
"That means these poffins are related to the Poffin Master," said Jo, turning to Lisa. Lisa nodded as she turned to Joe and Mack, "Looks like we need to go to Dino Paradise and figure out what's going on."
Dino Paradise…
As the rangers returned to Dino Paradise, they had Kyland and Thomas tied up together. To make things easier, the rangers thought it was best to teleport them and tie them up before they caused more damage to the city, including using their Fossil Blasters. Thomas turned around as he looked at the rangers, "Let us go!"
"Nope," said Leona.
Thomas darted his eyes as he went to stretch his arm out. But, his powers were not working. Leona knelt as she looked at him, "You kind of can't use your powers right now… you will eventually."
Kyland grumbled as he turned around, looking at the wall, "I can't wait to get my hands on you, Thomas and punch you in the gut!"
As the two rangers were arguing, Jo turned around as she examined the poffins. As the rangers looked at the screen, they noticed a red aura on each poffin. Jo turned around as she looked at the Poffin Master's anatomy. She shook her head, "Great… so not also can he suck berries, make poffins and turn them into weapons… he can make poffins for everyone to eat. But, the poffins made here are different than what Poffin Master creates."
Lisa narrowed her eyes as she was looking at the chemical composition on the screen. Seeing symbols, she looked at Jo as she noticed it, "That's poisonous."
"Correct," said Jo, "Everyone has some kind of food poisoning, but's it not food poisoning where your body reacts to it. It breaks you down mentally and emotionally. That Poffin brings out the worst in people."
"So… the poffins cause each individual to fight…," said Atticus, "Is there an antidote?"
"Sadly, no… Poffin Master needs to be defeated," said Jo.
Lisa turned around as she looked at the others. As she went to speak, Drake walked over as he went to fold his arms. He looked at the others as Lisa nodded. She already knew what Drake was going to say, "If we defeat Poffin Master, the spell can be reversed… but with how much is going on, all seven of you won't be able to defeat him with how much is going on."
"What do you mean?" Grayson asked.
Drake's eyes opened wide as blue lights filled them. The screen changed as people and Pokémon were officially fighting, causing property damage now. The rangers stood in shock as Lisa looked down at the ground, "All to distract us… over a stone."
"Where is the stone?" asked Jo.
"The stone is not in her purse…," said Lisa, looking up at Mack. Mack slowly nodded, "Unless, Jackie has it on her."
Leona turned around as she looked at the others, "Well, how about this? Jo monitors from here. Grayson and Atticus, you and I will use the Sing Chargers to knock everyone out in Oreburgh City. It will at least be a temporary hold and the rest fight Poffin Master."
"But, where would Poffin Master be?" asked Lisa.
"Simple. A place where there would be no people or Pokémon," Joe grinned as he raised his finger.
"Where? The Oreburgh Warehouse?" Lisa asked.
Suddenly, there was a loud beeping noise on the speaker. The rangers turned around as they noticed the Oreburgh Warehouse. Joe grinned as his guess was confirmed. Zooming in, Jackie and Dan were tied up, arguing as Poffin Master grinned, he laughed as he was watching the whole thing.
"Good surveillance, Jo," Joe replied with a smile.
"We're not out of the woods, yet," Jo stated, "The camera is picking up a stone reading… Lisa, you were right."
"We need to get going," said Lisa.
Joe and Mack nodded as they went toward the exit. As the rangers used their weapons, pink, black and gold auras surrounded them as they disappeared. Leona, Grayson and Atticus dashed over with their weapons to leave. Flashes of red, blue and green surrounded them as they disappeared.
"I can't believe we have to sit here… thanks to you," said Thomas.
"Shut up!" said Kyland.
Jo took a deep breath as she grabbed her Fossil Blaster. The two rangers turned around as Jo grabbed the Sing Charger, "Go to sleep!"
Meanwhile…
The moon was shining over the Oreburgh Warehouse with the lights on. As the lights were shining above the warehouse, Dan and Jackie were tied up. Jackie turned around as she looked at Dan. Dan gulped as they were chained. Maracturne and Cremelia laughed as the Mook Knights were watching. Poffin Master turned around as he looked at them. Behind him was all of his poffins that were created plus his weaponry.
"Thank you!" said Poffin Master, "For being my guinea pigs."
"Guinea pigs?" asked Dan, "For what… another experiment? Please. You already trashed my birthday party."
"And we are going to do more!" shouted Cremelia.
Maracturne grinned as he picked out a white stone. Jackie examined it as she was looking at the stone. Maracturne turned around as he laughed, "This is genuine!"
Jackie angrily looked at Maracturne as she turned to Dan, "Great. What are they going to do? All of the secrets are in that stone… specifically, wine tasting!"
Cremelia walked over to her as she put her hand on her chin, "Honey, by the time we analyze this, you will be making wine… in your grave!"
Jackie grumbled as Cremelia released her. Cremelia laughed as she turned to Dan, "And you are so pitiful. Seeing you two argue and almost break up… damn it!"
Maracturne looked at Dan as he turned to him, "I hope you are having fun with this. This is revenge for not grabbing the stone you had."
Dan turned around as he looked at Jackie. Dan looked up as he turned around, figuring out what to do. As he leaned to his left, he looked across as Lisa arrived, but was kneeling behind the oil canisters. Dan said nothing as he watched the three villains banter about the stone. Behind the canisters, Lisa turned around as she looked at Joe and Mack. Joe knelt as he looked at her. Lisa grabbed a red aromatherapy bottle that had Cinnabar Island ashes in it. Joe turned around as he looked at her, "Are you sure?"
Lisa nodded as she looked at the oil canisters. As she was placing a mega sized wick to the canister, she had the wick connect over one of her aromatherapy bottles that she had in her pocket. She knew there would be a chemical reaction. She turned to see the other oil canisters around her.
"Yes," said Lisa, "As soon as I say so… you and Mack go and save them. This oil canisters will explode, and it will give just enough time to grab the stone and get them out."
Mack nodded as he and Joe knelt. Mack turned around as he nodded slowly. Snapping her fingers, both rangers hopped on over. Cremelia and Maracturne looked up as Joe and Mack flipped a table, grabbing the stone. Poffin Master looked in surprise as he went to take one of his weapons. Joe turned around as he pulled the trigger on his Fossil Blaster. A black beam knocked his weapon out. Mack broke open the ropes as he freed Jackie and Dan. Lisa struck a match and let it loose. As the wick went through the flames within minutes, Lisa hopped over as she turned to the others.
"Have a nice time!" said Lisa.
"Get them, Mooks!" shouted Cremelia.
As the three rangers went to escape the wearhouse, a smell of Cinnabar Island essence filled the air. Maracturne turned around as he saw something orange. Looking at it, his eyes grew as he saw the set up. He turned to Cremelia, "It's gonna blow!"
The henchmen quickly started to run toward the exit. As the flame touched the oil canister, a chain of explosions occurred. Cremelia, Maracturne and Poffin Master broke through windows as they landed on the ground. Flames surrounded them as the Mooks started to catch on fire. Lisa turned around as she went to help them.
"Are you okay?" asked Lisa.
"Uh… I am fine," said Dan, knocking his head, "What happened to me? Jackie?!"
Jackie looked up as she turned to Dan and Lisa, noticing the stone was in Mack's possession, "What happened? And why do you have my stone?"
"It's a long story…," said Lisa, "Right now, though… let us handle it."
Poffin Master turned around as he grabbed his assault rifle, crafted from a yellow poffin, "You will pay for destroying my lab!"
As he went to aim for Lisa and the others, multiple blue beams were hit as Poffin Master was struck. Stumbling, the rangers turned around as Atticus arrived. Grayson struck the rest of the Mooks as Leona arrived with her Fossil Blaster. Jo arrived as well as she went to shoot them down.
"You all made it!" Lisa said, "Where are the others?"
"Sleeping," said Jo, turning to Dan and Jackie, "I'm guessing whatever happened to you is over thanks to that explosion."
"I guess?" Dan asked.
"I thought Poffin Master was supposed to be defeated," said Joe.
Jo shrugged as she turned to him. Jo turned around as she looked at the others, "I wish I knew the story."
"Can we morph now?" asked Leona. Lisa nodded as she turned to stretch her Fossil Charger, "Let's Poké Battle! Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the Fossil Chargers, energy flew through them as they did a dance. Turning around to face forward, the rangers pressed the chargers in their morphers.
Fossil Charger, Energize!
Spinning the blaster, the rangers turned around as they struck the Fossil Blasters in the air, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, flashes of energy appeared as they bathed into their suits. As their suits materialized, the rangers struck a pose.
"Tyrantrum! Dino Charge Red!"
"Armaldo! Dino Charge Black!"
"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"
"Kabutops! Dino Charge Green!"
"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"
"Aerodactyl! Dino Charge Gold!"
"Aurorus! Dino Charge Violet!"
"Poké Rangers Dino Charge!"
Lisa turned around as she struck her fist in the air as she turned to the enemies, "It's about to get wild!"
Cremelia and Maracturne went to start, only for Poffin Master to arrive with his assault rifle, "Take this!"
Pulling the trigger, electric bolts of energy struck the rangers. The rangers dodged as they tried to take cover behind oil canisters. Missing, Poffin Master grabbed the flamethrower from the green poffin he had, "Flamethrower!"
Releasing a stream of flame, the oil canisters exploded as the rangers landed on the ground. Laughing, a purple poffin was eaten. Poffin Master released a rocket launcher, but the launcher was made out of materials from chestnuts and coconuts.
"Seed Bomb!"
Coconut bombs were released toward the rangers. Upon impact, the rangers yelled as they landed on the ground. The rangers tried to get up, only for Dan to see what was going on. Jackie looked to see the battle.
"This is horrible…," said Jackie.
"Come on!" Dan shouted.
Poffin Master looked up as he went to use the Seed Bomb attack. Lisa quickly withdrew her Fossil Blaster, pulling the trigger. Distracting the attacker, Lisa turned around as she dragged her blaster on her right side, revealing her Bastiodon Drill.
"Bulldoze!"
Making a crack in the foundation, Poffin Master grumbled as he landed on the ground. She placed her Fossil Charger in the Bastiodon Drill. A pink aura surrounded her drill. As she aimed for the foundation.
Bastiodon, Energize!
"Drill Run!"
Digging into the foundation, pink cracks occur in the foundation. Explosions surrounded Poffin Master as he landed on the ground, wincing in pain. Getting back up, he turned around as he released red and blue chains, grabbing Lisa. Poffin Master snapped his fingers as a rainbow beam of energy struck, hitting Lisa in the chest. As she landed on the ground, Leona turned around as she looked at the monster.
"That's it!" said Leona, "Tyrantrum… I choose you!"
Pressing the charger, she threw it up in the air. A red aura surrounded the charger as Tyrantrum landed on the ground. Screaming, Tyrantrum turned around as Leona then took out another charger, "Tyrantrum Max Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the white charger, she threw it toward Tyrantrum. Tyrantrum absorbed it as it transformed into a miniature Tyrantrum. Grabbing Tyrantrum, Leona used another Fossil Charger as the Tyrantrum turned into the Tyrantrum Max Blaster.
"Fossil Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the Tyrantrum charger, she placed it in the Tyrantrum Max Blaster. A red aura surrounded her as her ranger suit appeared. A golden aura surrounded her body as a Tyrantrum emerged from behind her. A red aura surrounded her armor as a Tyrantrum face was placed on her chest. It was gold with green eyes. She also had gold armor on her shoulders. Turning around, she also had gold spikes on her helmet as her visor had green and ruby lines.
"Tyrantrum Max! Dino Super Charge Red!"
As she went to reach for the Victory Charger, Jo rushed over as she revealed a magenta charger that had the letter X on it. Leona looked at Jo, "What is this?"
"We're going to test it out," said Jo.
Leona nodded as she turned to the battle, "Victory Charger, energize!"
Jo stretched out her morpher as she went to battle, "Maximum Charger, energize!"
Pressing the chargers together, a bluish-pinkish aura surrounded the charger as mega charger combined into one. Sliding into the Tyrantrum Max Blaster, the rangers stood together. The five rangers charged energy into the Victory Charger where Jo and Mack filled their energy into the Maximum Charger.
A golden energy beam formed in the blaster, aiming for Poffin Master.
"Victory Maximum Beam!"
A bluish-white beam struck out of the Tyrantrum Max Blaster, with seven lights of energy coming from their prospective prehistoric Pokémon. Piercing through, Poffin Master screamed as he landed on the ground, exploding into pieces. Cremelia and Maracturne stood in response as the rangers turned around.
"Wow…," said Dan.
"They did it," Jackie said, grinning as she turned around.
Ferro Fett's Ship…
Lionel stood there angrily as he watched the explosion happen right in front of him. His face was grim as he went toward the bridge. He sighed as he looked at the screen, shaking his head.
"Those two are going to be the death of me," said Lionel, turning to Maracturne's station. He looked for the scanner as he saw the coordinates, "Magna Beam, fire!"
Oreburgh Warehouse…
The green beam pierced through the sky as it hit Poffin Master's corpse. The rangers looked up as Poffin Master grew ten times bigger, screaming as he went for the strike. Mack turned around as he looked at Joe. Joe nodded as he stood with him.
"I don't know about you but I am getting a little ticked off," said Mack.
"I agree," said Joe.
"But…," said Lisa.
"Nope… we will handle this," said Joe and Mack.
"Aerodactyl…"
"Armaldo…"
"I Choose You!"
Pressing the Fossil Chargers, black and golden auras surrounded them as Aerodactyl and Armaldo emerged from their chargers.
"Aerodynamic Change! Aero Amber Megazord!"
The Aerodactyl screamed as it swooped down. A golden aura surrounded the zord as it landed on the ground. The legs went from being bent to straight as the body was lifted. The wings folded into either side of its body as the body was now standing as a human body. The hands detached from the wings as golden arms grew out. The hands connected to the body as the head moved down to the chest. A human head appeared with a silver and black helmet that had an Amber Fossil on top. The head had green eyes.
"Aero Amber Megazord, Battle Ready!"
"Armaldo, let's combine with Aerodactyl," said Joe.
Armaldo nodded slowly as it stretched out its claws. Jumping up, a black aura surrounded as beams struck Aerodactyl, combining. The Armaldo Zord jumped up as it folded its arms and legs. The tail turned into a sharp edge nozzle. Joe jumped in as he went to help Mack with the weapons.
"Aero Claw Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Poffin Master opened his right hand. A red aura surrounded as a blue aura sucked the Oran Berries into his hand. As a blue aura surrounded the pipes and into the barrel, a poffin appeared. Eating the poffin, a blue aura surrounded his hands as a gatling gun appeared. Laughing, he pressed the red button as tons of bullets pierced through. The Aero Claw Megazord jumped up as the bullets pierced through buildings. Raising the claw, the Aero Claw Megazord struck Poffin Master down.
"Allow me to return the favor," shouted Joe.
Black beams struck across as Poffin Master was struck. Swinging across, the Aero Claw Megazord used its wings as the Poffin Master screamed, breaking the barrel. The barrel exploded as Poffin Master was twirling around. Explosions surrounded everywhere as a black and golden aura surrounded it. Next, the Aero Amber Megazord began to stretch its arms out as golden blades surrounded each arm. A golden aura surrounded the wings as the Megazord charged forward. Combining the wings with the Armaldo Zord, a black and golden cannon materialized.
"Aerodynamic Strikeout!"
A golden, black energy beam pierced through as Poffin Master was annihilated. Explosions appeared as flames erupted in response. The Aero Claw Megazord turned around as explosions appeared.
"That will show him," Mack said in response.
Oreburgh Museum…
The rangers were walking in the halls after hours. The Pokémon were fed and they were all hanging out at the museum. As the rangers sat down, looking at the victory celebration, Dan turned around as he went to speak.
"Hey, thanks for saving our butts again," said Dan.
"The pleasure is ours," said Lisa, looking at him.
Mack turned around as he looked at her, "Well, if it wasn't for me…"
"Don't even," Lisa said, kissing him on the cheek.
Dan laughed as he looked at Lisa and then turned to Jackie. Jackie grinned as she turned to Joe. Joe shrugged as he went to sit down in the cafeteria. Kyland and the others were already there. Jackie grinned as she turned around, "Hey… so while we were fighting, I figured it would be best to give you this. Now that I know what was going on… granted that monster was weird."
Jackie revealed in her pocket a white stone to give to Lisa. Lisa nodded as she turned around, "Thanks!"
"Yeah," said Dan, "I know how much it means to you so…"
As everyone sat down, Grayson turned around as Jo grabbed the stones. As Lisa placed the white stone, all 17 stones began to swirl around. As the rangers stood together, they noticed that there was an orb being formed. Dan was amazed at what he saw.
"This is cool. So, this is what you've been hiding," said Dan.
"I didn't even know Braver Crest's stone would be involved in something like this," said Jackie, "That's so phenomenal!"
"Yeah… we just need to find the last-," said Joe. Before Joe could say anything, a flash of silver light pierced out, hitting Dan. Dan yelled as he landed on the ground. Leona dashed over as she went to check on him. Dan's eyes began to fill with silver light as the rangers looked up. Their crystals started reacting as they noticed a robotic Archeops in holographic form. As his eyes returned to normal, Dan carefully managed to lift himself up. Looking down, Dan turned around as a white fossil appeared in front of him, like the Ancient Fossil.
"So… that's the Plume Fossil, but the crystal's missing!" said Joe.
"Unless…," said Dan, looking at it, "The crystal is the stone."
"That is impossible…," said Jo, "There are 18 stones and 10 crystals buried in fossils. You have the fossil, we need the crystal."
"Unless… a crystal can be a stone. It doesn't have to be a solid color," said Leona.
Dan turned around as he looked at the Plume Fossil. The rangers looked over it as they turned to the 95 percent completed orb, spinning around.

Learning the last stone remains inside the energy crystal, the rangers began to search for it! Lionel also learns about it and sends a monster to Lake Valor to destroy them. Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 36: Archeops Revival Part 1
A/N: How about that? I am at a loss for words but this chapter was definitely fun to write… and I had to figure out and maneuver but it worked. I can't believe it.
Next chapter will finally start the Archeops arc and the final ranger arc. It took me forever, but we will finally get there next chapter. I just need to revise the trilogy to make sure it all flows. If you have been waiting for so long, I really do apologize. I am not going into any details for it, but let's just say I had to attend to personal business, which took my whole month of April and most of May. It was not fun. Actually, 2024 has not been fun with what's been going on but I hope to pick up where I left off.
The good news is... I hope to not leave this series in a hiatus this long. There's only 13 chapters left to upload and I only have to write 8, which isn't bad. But, I hope to get a move on because I need to start the next season as soon as possible. I will know more and keep you posted. The first teaser will be coming out in a few chapters.
