Family Feud: Can Harmony Prevail in the Chaos?

Ch II: Whispers of Discord

"My son went through surgery…" Rita said as she hung her head down low, and tears fell down her cheek.

"Are you mad at us, Pops?" Luna asked her father, nervous.

"No…" Lynn Sr. said, relieving the sisters and freeing their minds of any worries. "Because, 'mad'…DOES NOT, COVER IT!" The father of the Loud family yelled, as his fuse was blown at the mention of the sisters fighting over a stupid dress, or the latest songs released today.

"Lynn…" Olivia said, calming him down. "There's no need for violence here…"

Lynn Loud Sr. decided to calm down, and he asked Olivia Afton. "Can I…at least, see my son?"

"Yes, you can…" The doctor said. "He is in room 324 on the third floor."

On the third floor…

They finally reached the third floor, and went to look for Lincoln's hospital room. When they opened the door, they saw him placed under a chest tube and the heart monitor was beeping, he was laying on his bed, passed out from all of that pain that happened back there.

Rita grabbed her son's hand and placed it in hers, as she was crying softly to him. "Lincoln…please don't leave your mother…"

Lynn Sr. then looked at the sisters, with a stern look. "When we get home, we are talking this out, understand?"

The daughters nodded in response.

"Rita?" The Loud patriarch asked. "Are you coming home with us?"

The matriarch lets go of Lincoln's hand, and follows her husband and daughters to the van.

When they reached the Loud residence…

The van parked up to the driveway, they got out of the car and into the house. The parents followed suit, and they have annoyed looks on their faces.

Rita goes into the kitchen with Lily, disgusted at the sight of the sisters. Lynn Sr. then commands the sisters to sit on the couch, and he asked them. "What was all of that fighting about?"

"Well…" Lori tried to think up of an answer. "Uh… I and Leni fought over a dress we both bought, and I know it's really—"

"Seriously?!" The Loud patriarch said. "Lori Louise Loud, you are not allowed to fight with your sisters just because of something insignificant!"

The sisters hung their heads down low in shame.

Lynn Sr. sighed, and said. "You guys are grounded for 3 months, for Lori and Leni, you two are not watching Dream Boat ever again, as for Luna and Luan, you two are not making music or performing stand-up performances, making jokes, or playing pranks on April Fools' next year."

Lori, Leni, Luna, and Luan hung their heads low.

"As for the rest of you, Lynn Jr., no playing or watching sports, Lucy, no poems or goth contests, Lana, no playing with mud, Lola, no pageants and tea parties, and lastly Lisa, no performing any science experiments, and your lab will be donated to the university students as charity." The father said.

"Come on, Dad, not fair!" The athlete of the Loud family complained.

"Well, it will be…" Lynn Sr. said as he pulled out his belt, and whipped it so hard that the sisters were sweating buckets. They felt as if Satan was grinning at them from the strip of leather made for use by men.

Without a single word coming out of their mouth, they ran for their lives as if it was the end of the world for them.

Lynn Sr. put his belt back on, and sat on the couch, massaging his head. The girls have been quite a headache for him ever since that one time Lori and Leni fought over that stupid dress.

Meanwhile…

"Hey, Stephanie, you know what happened with Lincoln's sisters a few days ago, right?" Michael asked, rubbing his younger brother's head.

Stephanie nodded in response. "He went over to my house yesterday, then told me and Jamie about what was happening between his sisters…with a tiny bit of crude language…"

Jamie shook his head. "Why the loving hell would they consider fighting over something stupid like a dress?"

"Yeah…" Natalie said. She was Robert's younger sister at the age of 12 years old.

"Girls these days, you know?" Louise's younger brother, Simon said while sporting a smug grin at his sister.

"Shut up, Simon." Louise said, irritated at her brother's compliment.

Elizabeth, Natalie, and Stephanie raised their middle fingers at Simon.

"Uh…sorry to interrupt your conmigo, but I'll tell you something…" Roberto said, the look of distraught evident on his face.

"What is it, Roberto?"

Roberto sighed. "It's about Lincoln…" He spoke in his native tongue. "He's at the hospital…"

"Is he visiting somebody sick?" Jennifer asked, concerned.

"No…" He said in a thick Spanish accent. "Él siendo atendido en la hospital…something happened between him and his hermanas…"

"What happened, Bobby?" CC asked, desperate to know about the news.

"Bueno…he and his hermanas got into a fight…and he got injured with a broken leg, swollen cheeks, missing dientes, punctured lung, and last but not least…he was placed under a chest tube, I think? To add more gasoline to the fuego…he was placed under surgery…" The Hispanic teen said, while his anger began to rise. "Stephanie, if you're very angry, blame it on Lori and her tontas hermanas…"

This made Michael stand up from his position and punch the wall 2 times as if it were one of Lincoln's sisters, before delivering the last blow to Roberto's picture with his parents and sister, creating a tapestry of bits of glass falling to the floor, with the family picture following suit, and shattering it into pieces. As the Afton teenager kept venting his anger out on the wall, hot, fresh tears were falling from his eyes.

There was a sense of brotherhood between Michael and Lincoln, since they share the same hobbies. He reads comics and plays video games like Michael does, their favorite show was ARRGH!, and they both like the thought of eating pizza. Lincoln helped Michael through his struggles when William was acting like a total asshole to him, he helped him back when his sisters were treating him like good luck.

Hearing this pierced Stephanie's heart, ever since her father, Julius, had died from heart failure on May 30, 1974, she had looked up to Lincoln and his family for support. When she heard the news from Roberto, her emotion shifted from sadness, to pure hatred as she clenched her hands into fists and showed some of her razor teeth in the process.

With Michael, after venting out his frustration on the wall, he fell to his knees on the ground and said. "THEY PUT LINCOLN IN THE HOSPITAL, HUH?! I'LL PUT THEM IN COMAS! I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT WHAT THEY GOT AS A PUNISHMENT!" Michael said as he took a picture of Roberto and Lori, then threw it on the wall.

Robert then pushed Lori to the wall as she opened the door, and punched her three times before delivering the final blow to the window while making his hand bleed a tiny bit.

Elizabeth then roared as she charged at Lori, but the older teen managed to avoid the little girl before she hit the wall. Elizabeth got up, and shakily raised her middle finger at Lori as she began yelling.

"FUCK YOU, LORI LOUISE LOUD, FUCK YOU, YOUR SISTERS, AND YOUR FRIENDS, YOU NUT-HEADS FOR SISTERS KNOW NOTHING BUT TO FIGHT OVER STUPID STUFF LIKE THAT ONE DRESS YOU AND LENI BOUGHT FROM THE FUCKING MALL, YOU CAN GO BUY ANOTHER ONE, DUMBASS! HOW MUCH DOES IT EVEN FUCKING COST? TEN GRAND? I MIGHT AS WELL RIP THAT SWEATER ROBERTO GAVE YOU TO SHREDS, OR PUT YOUR FUCKING SMARTPHONE IN A FUCKING DUMPSTER!" Her voice began to crack. "JUST WHY, LORI? WHY THE LOVING HELL WOULD YOU MAKE LINKY LIVE A LIVING HELL?! IS HE BECAUSE HE'S NOT THE SAME GENDER AS THE R-REST OF YOU, OR HE'S TOO WORTHLESS TO DO ANYTHING IN LIFE?!" The little girl's anger began to rise. "LINKY JUST WANTED TO HELP YOU GUYS, AND YOU TELL HIM TO BUTT OUT 'CAUSE IT'S A SISTER THING? YOU EVEN USED HIS SHEETS AND BLANKET AS A FUCKING DIVIDER IN YOUR AND LENI'S ROOM, AND KICKED HIM OUT OF HIS OWN SPACE BECAUSE SOME OF THE SISTERS WERE COOLING OFF!"

Michael then proceeded to take Elizabeth away from the scene, and Michael's other friends turned to look at her as the main cause of the problem.

To be continued in Ch III…

A/N: Hey guys, we're back with another chapter of 'Family Feud: Can Harmony Prevail in the Chaos?', and I know you guys hate Michael having to throw Roberto and Lori's picture onto a wall, but I had to since I think it makes sense in context. Here are the following dates on which my stories are set:

The Failure of a Father – March 1974

No Such Luck or Destiny's Deceit? – Late-May 1974

Family Feud: Can Harmony Prevail in the Chaos? – June 1974

Seems like Michael, his siblings and friends found out, but what about William and Olivia, or Henry and Valerie? How will they react to the news? Will they share their sympathies with Lynn Sr. and Rita, and show their disappointment at the sisters?

If Cassidy finds out, she will get into a fight with Lynn Jr., similar to Syngenesophobia, well, it's on chapter four from what I have seen, and I'm going to make it happen in chapter three, this time between Cassidy Schmidt and Lynn Loud Jr. That's all, and again, leave a review for me to see what you all think.
