"Alright now we're gonna play a game… the quiet game where we see who can be quiet for long so mommy and I can focus on stuff like NASA stuff or chores." Rocket told Elroy, Herbie, Luba and Sputnik making them confused by their dad's game making Ranger chuckle softly helping explain seeing Nebula carrying a basket full of laundry heading to the kits's rooms. "Daddy have you met us, we have trouble being quiet like you. We have big mouths too remember." Luba piinted out majing Ranger laugh hysterically at his niece seeing Rocket roll his eyes at him.
"We'll see about that guys." he muttered going to do work making Ranger smirk wondering how long this was going to last knowing these kits were like their dad but Nebula wondered why their kits were doing charades. "The Quiet Game started and Rockue's doing work." Ranger said making her get it hoping Rocket's idea was a goid one to helo keep their kits quiet while they were doing things which required focus going ti make lunch with Ranger's help.
"Rockie's a smart guy so if this blows up in his face, he'll figure out what to do." he assured her making Nebula smile at his words knowing he had a pount. "Thanks Ranger as you're right." she said getting juiceboxes out of the fridge entering the living room unsure of the quiet vibe right now feeling Ranger squeeze her furry arm gently seeing Rocket surprised by how quiet things were in the house realising the kits were taking this game seriously hearing Nebula whisper to him, to tell the kits they could talk again.
"Alright guys you've shown you can play the game but mommy's getting freaked out which isn't good." he told them seeing them nodding.
"Sorry mommy for scaring you. It was daddy's idea." Herbie said softly relieving Nebula. Ranger noticed the bandages on her tail wondering what had happened as Rocket pointed at Elroy. "They had a bottle rocket fight on the Fourth of July and things got crazy and Nebs's tail got hurt but the kits felt bad." he explaibed to him.
"Do you understand, why I taught you the Quiet game, as it's okay to be loud and crazy outside but when we're inside we use our quiet voices play. Mommy and I try to do things like wirk so you being loud and crazy disrupts us." Rocket explained to the kits. It was their naptime so he was puttibg them down for their nap and had just told them a story but explaining aboht the quiet game seeing them nodding falling asleep leaving their rooms seeing Nebula making coffee for them and Ranger so was telling her the kits were asleep but enjoying this quiet time.
"I told the kits the difference between being loud outside and quiet inside." Rocket told her.
