At the taco restaurant, the two families saw each other for the first time...
Natalie said, 'Why, good evening there.' 'Oh, hi,' greeted Penn. 'Guess you're all here to have dinner too, right?' asked Laila. 'Yep, their tacos are huge,' replied Goris. Then the Matson and Michaels families introduced themselves to each other. Natalie asked the Michaels family, 'So, should we each other the family-sized meal, have dinner together, then get to know each other?' 'I think that's a great idea.' says Lorraine. 'Yes', adds Chloe. 'We're down,' said Abby.
In the family-sized meal, there were a box of double decker tacos, (with 2 of them the vegetarian kind for Abby) chalupas, burritos (bean and cheese, and beef and bean) and Mexican rice, with cola. During their dinner, the families had a nice conversation with each other. After dinner, Penn asked everyone, 'Should we all get ice cream for dessert?' The adults nodded, while the kids cheered. They ordered root beer floats, and eagerly ate them all up. After that, both families walked together, back to the hotel...
Natalie asked, 'So, should we see each other tomorrow?' 'We'd love to.' Lorraine says. 'There's a lot of stuff to see at this park.' Goris said. 'I'm hoping to see everything that's here! says Chloe, excited. The Matson and Michaels families rode the elevator up to the same floor where their respective hotel rooms were. Natalie, Laila, and Chloe went inside their room, while Gregory, Lorraine, Goris, and Abby went in theirs. For the rest of their first nights in Monopolyland, the guests in both of their hotel rooms relaxed, and watched TV. Later everyone went to sleep, so they would be ready to see more of Monopolyland the next day.
In the employees' security area that night, Lilith and Eda talked with the other workers at Monopolyland about what to do about the Glandus High students...
'How are we going to keep Emily and her team from taking over Monopolyland?' asks Lilith. Someone raised their hand: It was a newt in a bellhop's uniform named Bella. 'Yes, Bella?' questioned Lilith. Bella suggests, 'How about we try fighting them off?'
Lilith looked uneasy, while Eda looked motivated...
Lilith says, 'I don't know. I've found out that Emily is an expert in Chinese martial arts, and her team is pretty tough as well.' 'I could take down that Glandus High team, even if I don't have full magic!' states Eda. 'Well, Edalyn... we have to fight them all together, for us to have a chance,' said Lilith. Another newt, a tougher one named Priscilla Paddock, spoke up, 'We can do it. With all of us, those Glandus kids won't stand a chance!' Lilith sighed, and says 'Let's sleep on it. We'll be ready for them to show up in the morning.' Then the employees headed to their secret portals to their homes, and went to sleep.
