After defeating Shao Kahn, Kurai and his allies live their lives in relative peace. But dark forces with their own hidden agendas have different plans. With a new battle on the horizon, Kurai must reunite with Liu Kang and the others to combat this coming threat and keep the peace of the realms or all will be lost.

This is my retelling of Mortal Kombat which is an entire hard reboot that will be retelling every story in the Original Timeline going from MK1 to MK Armageddon. Kuai Liang is my favourite Mortal Kombat character, so I decided to retell his story with a few of my own touches, taking inspiration from both timelines, semi/non cannon material and my own headcannons/adjustments.
