hahaha!, ya got to love the kids these days, they have no fear half the time laughed Lucky Roo. Roo is the cook of the crew, He is a big chubby man, with a huge appetite. (How he made the role as cook, I'd rather not ask)

yeah, let's see what he has in store for us this time laughed Yasopp. Yasopp is the sharp shooter of the crew. He has dark yellow hair, and is carrying two pistols around his belt.

now now lads no need to make him keep up. Luffy, best get down before you hurt yourself said Shanks.

I'll show you whispered Luffy as he holds a knife in his right hand. And just like that, Luffy stabs his left cheek, right below his left eye.

OWWWW!!! Screamed Luffy in pain.

THE HELL WERE YA THINKING?!?! Yelled the whole crew.

[Makino's bar]

as the red haired pirates celebrated their latest journey, Shanks was seen stitching up Luffy's cheek.

good thing you got your cheek, losing an eye. Is serious said Shanks. He then was done stitching.

Luffy was silent for the rest of the time.

as the others party to their hearts content, they stopped when someone kicked one of the doors off its hinges.

just like that, a group of bandits came into the bar.

so this is what a crew of pirates looks like, hmm, don't look strong to me said the man who seems to be the leader.

we wish for ten barrels of your finest alcohol said the bandit leader.

during the talk, Luffy finds a opened chest with a strange looking fruit inside it. Feeling hungry, Luffy decides to eat it. As he eats the fruit, he gets a bad taste in his mouth.

just like that a confused Luffy looks up and see's Shanks covered in alcohol.

who the hell ya think your talking to?. Don't you know who I am? Asked the bandit leader.

I take it you're going to tell me? Asked Shanks.

just like that, the bandit leader pulled out a piece of paper, showing its a wanted poster.

Wanted: Higuma "The bear". Dead or alive. 8,000,000 berries.

Ya see now pirate?, I have a big bounty on my head, you don't stand a chance against me and my men said Higuma. He grins showing off his bounty poster.

let's get going men, no need to kill this bunch of weak cowards any way laughed Higuma as he and his men leave.

after that the bar went silent... for about a few seconds, before everyone started laughing.

did you see the looks on their faces?! Laughed Roo.

it was priceless laughed Yasopp.

even Shanks was laughing.

WHY ARE YOU ALL LAUGHING?!?!. What's wrong with you Shanks, you should have been kicking his ass yelled Luffy upset.

calm down Luffy, it was just some... wait, why does your breath smell funny? Asked Shanks.

I ate a gross fruit ok! Said Luffy. upset still.

you, idiot, that wasn't a normal fruit. That was a devil fruit, a cursed fruit that grants the eater a power. But they then lost the ability to swim forever. How can you not tell the difference?! Asked Shanks completely in panic.

what?!, I have a power now??, no way, that's so cool! Said Luffy out loud in excitement.

so with, what powers do I have now? Asked Luffy.

if what I heard, it's the moa moa no mi. It grants the user the ability, to amplify the size and speed of any object they touch. It can even increase their body's strength and speed to said Shanks.

so I can increase my already strong punches?, that is very cool said Luffy.

I said don't get carried away said Shanks. Hitting Luffy on the head again.

I guess I'm going to be a strong pirate then. Sisisi, I'm going to need to train if I want to become a strong pirate said Luffy.

why do I even try with you? Asked Shanks to himself.
