Desperate Measures
Chapter Sixth
Sammy had finally arrived at the Cyrus homeless shelter, where a number of the residents were sleeping outside on the payment. No way in hell was he checking everyone on whether or not Anthony Morrison was among them.
On his cell phone, a photo of Anthony Morrison was sent by Richard Castle from the F.B.I. National Database.
Checking his photo several times. Sammy was exhausted already and decided to sit down on the steps for a moment with the residents passing him heading in different directions.
His eyes looked across the street. He saw what he thought was Morrison as he started to run across the busy street with cabs, buses, and several regular drivers heading for their destinations.
Sammy was out of breath as Morrison ran away quickly to be lost by Sammy. He will head for a location he has no idea at the moment. He didn't need to be stopped by this man, instead, he wanted to be caught by Richard Castle.
"Son of a bitch!" Sammy cried out that he needed to use his cell phone to send a text to Castle to make him upset for the most part.

Castle had finally arrived at the Precinct.
Captain Kate Beckett was having a full-blown meeting with everyone in the squad. Castle had seen Police Commissioner Anders new to the job, along with the mayor standing inside Beckett's office.
He will stand next to Sergeant Esposito listening to the latest information about Morrison getting away with undercover officers in the area reporting. Even though they had no idea about Castle's friend Sammy as well helping out with the case.
As for Morrison, he had noticed the man Sammy had to be looking for him right now. Sammy saw the man taking a peek at his cell phone with the photo of the serial killer.
"Hey, you!" Sammy cried out at Morrison running away for a moment before pulling out his revolver and turning to fire his weapon. "OMG!" he cried out when the bullets started to fly at him hitting his shoulder and right leg.
Screams were coming from those in the area watching in horrid. Morrison fired a few more times with Sammy not having a chance to pull out his weapon.
Morrison ran across the street to get away from those as incident bystanders. Only one Sammy and another had been hit. But Sammy, his life ended with a fatal shot into his chest to kill him. While the bystander named Edwards age 45 a stock broker was shot in the right leg.
Those around watching the scene were able to call the police, and most of all 911 asking for ambulances, including the Coroner's van with the latest death caused by Anthony Morrison.

Richard Castle and the entire detective team had arrived at the scene after being called about the shootings. Sammy was dead another will be on its way to the hospital after being shot in the leg.
"What the hell is going on Richard with all this bloodshed?" Captain Beckett had screamed out at her husband.
He was looking down on his friend's body after being his friend for a long time. Castle had to gather his thoughts for the moment to say the following.
"I asked Sammy to help me locate Anthony Morrison at the Cyrus homeless shelter." He says needing to catch a deep breath.
"Really Castle! Now look at what has happened to your friend. Who else is going to get themselves in the process with this serial killer?" she walked slightly away to see the Police Commissioner needing his attention after checking the area of the shelter. "I will be right back while you talk to Doctor Lisa Anderson of the Coroner's office." She says.
She walked away angry as hell at her husband for having to be stupid with sending in his friend to wind up getting murdered.
Police Commissioner Anders wasn't happy at the moment while watching Captain Kate Beckett walk over to him. "Sir, you needed to speak with me?" she sounded slightly annoyed.
"Yes, I do Beckett. I am going to asked the Governor for additional funds for further police officers to be on the streets to search for Morrison. I DON'T NEED ANY FURTHER DEAD BODIES ON OUR HANDS!" HE CRIED OUT WITH ANGER WITH HIS TONE AND BODY LANGUAGE.
"Of course, sir. I will need all of the help we can get at this time." Beckett says to the Police Commissioner.

Anthony Morrison having stolen a small bike from a teenager leaving it on the sidewalk near the homeless shelter. He had no idea just where he was heading for the moment. However he did need once again to call his favorite author Richard Castle to keep him thinking.
Moving down the main sidewalk near a lottery shop close to the Manhattan skating rink. He needed to buy something to munch on once again after being hungry and thirsty once again after having a bite to eat at the shelter.
Walking inside.
The lottery shop was extremely busy with their regular customers. First off he was itching to buy a few scratch off tickets, buying twenty dollars worth. A roast beef sandwich on a soft roll with lettuce, tomato and mayo, along with chips and a diet cola for the purchase.
There was only one TV working with the screen showing an afternoon basketball woman's league game of the Liberty and the Indian Feven. The game was tied in the late second quarter.
After paying for all of his purchases including scratch-off tickets. He will work on them by trying to find a place to sleep like a church or small motel on the outskirts of Manhattan.
Packing his things into a double plastic bag. He started off with the bike heading into a direction that will no doubt lead him to good news. It was starting to rain lightly which was going to make the investigation of Sammy's death hard.
