Hey everyone, chipsandfish2 here with another chapter for Multiverse of Movies.

I won't keep you guys waiting and just get right into it. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own HTTYD or any of the other movies in this story, only the OC.

Chapter 6: HTTYD Scene 5

[Scene cuts to at the pier, the destroyed longships from the expedition heading back]

Gobber: Well, I trust you found the nest at least?

Stoick: Not even close.

Gobber: Ah. Excellent.

Stoick: I hope you had a little more success than me.

Gobber: Well, if by success, you mean that your parenting troubles are over with, then... yes.

Hiccup looked over at Gobber. "You really need to work on your wording Gobber."

Gobber had the decency to at least look sheepish. He made it sound like Hiccup was a bad son.

Phlegma: Congratulations, Stoick! Everyone is so relieved.

Starkard: Out with the old and in with the new, right?!

Hoark the Haggard: No one will miss that old nuisance!

Ack: The village is throwing a party to celebrate!

"Annnnnnnd there's the rest of the village." Hiccup said, annoyed and hurt that his own people could say such hurtful things about him.

The rest of the village winced while also glaring at the 4 vikings mentioned above.

Stoick: He's gone?

Gobber: Yeah... most afternoons. But who can blame him? I mean the life of a celebrity's very rough. He can barely walk through the village without being swarmed by his new fans.

Stoick: Hiccup?

Gobber: Who would've thought, eh? He has this way with the beasts.

[Scene cuts to Toothless soaring across the ocean, Hiccup on his back]

"YEAH!" Fred shouted. "Finally, some dragon riding!"

The audience agreed, anxious to see what would happen. After all, no one has ever ridden a dragon and lived to talk about it.

Meanwhile, in the rafters, the masked rider looked on with interest, wanting to see how her so- I mean, this boy would do for his first real flight.

Hiccup: Okay there, bud, we're gonna take this nice and slow. Here we go. Here we go... position three, no, four.

Alright, it's go time. It's go time. Come on, buddy, come on, buddy! [He changes the tail fin position. They dove down, gliding just above the water, and under a see stack.]

Yes, it worked! [Hiccup accidentally flies Toothless into one of the sea stacks.]

Hiccup (cont.): Sorry!

[Hiccup flies Toothless into another sea stack]

Hiccup (cont.): That was my fault.

[Toothless hits him with his ear]

The main group laughed. Toothless glared at Hiccup. It hurt flying into those see stacks.

Hiccup held up his hands in defense. "Hey, it was our first official flight. And, of course, there are still some kinks i needed to work out and-"

Astrid silenced him by punching his arm.

Hiccup (cont.): Yeah, yeah, I'm on it. Position four, uh, three.

Yeah! Go baby! Yes! Oh, this is amazing! The wind in my...

[The wind blows his cheat sheet out of its place]

Hiccup (cont.): ... CHEAT SHEET! STOP!

[Hiccup's diagram flies away and he tries to catch it, but Toothless unintentionally follows his command, unhooks the safety cord and falls.]

Everyone's breathing ceased.

Stoick's heart stopped. Seeing his own son falling thousands of feet in the air, he instinctively grabbed his son's shoulder and held him closer.

Meanwhile, the masked rider almost jumped on her dragon and flew down to "save" the boy before remembering that this is a movie.

Hiccup (cont.): NOOOOOO!

Oh, gosh! Oh, gods! Oh, no! Alright! You gotta kind angle yourself! Okay, no, no, no... come back down towards me! Come back down- YOW!

[He tries to get back on the saddle, getting smacked with Toothless' tail in the process.]

Stoick clecnched his fists, his heart racing in his chest. "Come on, Hiccup. Come on, son." he thought.

Meanwhile, many of the girls were clutching to Hiccup in trepidation, much to his embarrassment.

Normally, Astrid would be annoyed and jealous by this, but she was too engrossed at the screen to care at the moment.

[Finally reattaching, the cheat sheet smacks into his face. Noticing the numerous seastacks up ahead, Hiccup tries to memorize the sheet before ditching it. He then proceeds to swerve through the rocks with only seconds to react, swiftly changing tail positions.]

"Woah, I can barely keep up with the screen," Asha said as her eyes darted all over the screen.

"Your reaction speed is very impressive kid." Jacob complimented.

"Thank you," Hiccup said, "But I prefer to think of it as beginners luck."

Astrid punched his arm. "Lucky is putting it lightly you idiot." She scolded him.

[Eventually, he and Toothless emerge in the open ocean.]

Hiccup (cont.): YEEAHHH!

(Toothless shoots a blast of fire and flies through it) Ah, come on!

"Wait, aren't you worried about being burnt?"Rapunzel asks.

"Yeah, but I don't think Toothless would have flown through that if it meant me getting hurt in the process.

[Scene cuts to on a sea stack where Hiccup and Toothless are resting. Hiccup looks slightly singed by the fire earlier.]

Some of the main cast chuckled.

"That's a good look on you." Astrid said.

[Toothless regurgitates a fish head for hiccup]

Wasabi gags while the others stared chanting.

"Eat it. Eat it. Eat it. Eat i-"

"Don't you dare start that again." GoGo warned them, causing them to clamp up.

Hiccup: Uh... no thanks. I'm good.

Wasabi sighed in relief.

[A flock of Terrible Terrors arrive and are interested in the fish. Toothless growls while protecting his food, unwilling to share. He growls at a Terror that was getting too close while another grabbed the regurtitated fish head. Another Terror tries to grab a bite, but the other blew a small flame at it to make it back off.]

A bunch of people giggled at the adorable dragon. Many of the females characters wanted to hold one.

[A fish suddenly stands up and starts "walking away", but it soon revealed to be a Terrible Terror dragging it out of the pile.]

This caused the audience to start laughing a bit harder at the dragons childish display.

[The Terror fights Toothless over a fish and loses. It tries to attack, only to be blasted in the mouth by Toothless, causing it to briefly inflate.]

Hiccup (cont.): Not so fireproof on the inside, are you? (He tosses the Terror a fish, which it swallows whole) There you go.

I have a feeling that that's going to be important later." Tadashi comments.

"What? Like it's foreshadowing something?" Jack asked him to which he nodded.

"Fore- what now?" Tuffnut asked.

"A hint to something significant that will happen later on in the movie." Honeylemon explained.

Everything we know about you guys is wrong... (the Terror curls up next to Hiccup like a kitten, purring softly)

Everyone awed at the adorable scene.

"Now I want to pet one." Anna whined.

As if on que, the same flock of Terrors flew down to the group. The cast members were shocked and excepted them, except Gabo whose Terror started biting him.

[Scene cuts to Hiccup's workshop.]

[Hiccup was at his desk playing with his pencil when his dad entered the room, acting quickly, he hid all his sketches of Toothless.]

Hiccup: Dad! You're back! Gobber's not here, so...

Stoick: I know. I came looking for you.

Hiccup: You did?

Stoick: You've been keeping secrets.

Hiccup: I... have?

Stoick: Just how long did you think you could hide it from me?

"Wait. Does he know about Toothless?" Hiro asked.

"How is that possible?" Jack asked.

Hiccup chuckled, remembering this scene all too well.

Hiccup: I don't know what you're...

Stoick: Nothing happens on this island without me hearing about it.

Hiccup: Oh?

Stoick; So. Let's talk about that dragon.

The audience, save for the main HTTYD cast, held their breaths in anticipation.

Hiccup: Oh, gods. Dad I'm so sorry. I was going to tell you. I just didn't know how to-

[Suddenly, Stoick starts laughing.]

Everyone's expression shifted from tense to confused.

"Huh. I was expecting more anger." GoGo said.

Hiccup (cont.): You're not... upset?

Stoick: What?! I was hoping for this!

Hiccup:Uh... you were?

"I am so confused right now." Asha admitted.

Stoick: And believe me, it only gets better! Just wait 'till you spill a Nadder's guts for the first time! And mount your first Gronckle head on a spear! WHAT A FEELING! You really had me going there, son! All those years of the worst Viking Berk has ever seen! Odin, it was rough! I almost gave up on you! And all the while, you were holding out on me! OH, THOR ALMIGHTY! Ah. With you doing so well in the ring, we finally have something to talk about.

Realization finally sunk in as everyone realized he was referring to the dragons in the arena.

Stoick shook his head, he was so close to finding out his son's secret and he didn't even know it.

"Wow, that was a close call." Merida chimed in.

Hiccup nodded his head." Yeah, pretty sure that experience shave a few years off my life."

Stoick (cont.): Oh, I... brought you something. To keep you safe in the ring.

[Stoick holds up a Viking helmet and gives it to Hiccup]

Hiccup: [Sincerely] Wow. Thanks.

Stoick: Your mother would've wanted you to have it. It's half of her breast plate.

Stoick (cont.): Matching set. Keeps her close, y'know?

Everyone grimaced. Aunt Cass looked at Stoick. "You wear your wife's breastplate on your head?!"

All eyes were on him. Stoick scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. "It's a bit of a funny story. You see, years ago, a few months before Hiccup was born, I was always keeping a watchful eye on my wife to make sure she didn't endanger herself. Eventually, she got fed up with it and challenged me to an arm wrestling contest to prove her strength. She said that if I won, she would go on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy. But if she won, I had to wear her breastplate as my new helmet."

Everyone stared at him wide-eyed before many burst out laughing.

"And you lost?!" Maui said between laughs. DK was wiping tears from his eyes.

Stoick looked at him. "She was a lot stronger than she looked." He confessed.

Up in the rafters, Valka was feeling rather smug with herself. At the same time, she felt touched that her husband continued to wear said helmet in her honor.

Stoick (cont.): Wear it proudly. You deserve it. You've held up your end of the deal.

Hiccup: [Fakes yawning] I should really get to bed.

Hiccup and Stoick: Yes! Good! Okay. Good talk. See you back at the house. We should do this again. I'm great. Thanks for stopping by. Glad I stopped by, I hope you uh, like the hat. And for the... the breast hat.

Stoick: Well, uh... good night.

[As he left, he ended up knocking over dishes and equipment by mistake, before regaining his composure and leaving.]

Everyone laughed at his carelessness in that scene.

"That was awkward." Moana said.

"Yeah, it was." Hiccup said. "But at least he didn't find out about Toothless for the time being."

And that's a wrap!

This chapter might be a bit shorter than the others, I'm sure you guys weren't disappointed.

In case you guys haven't figured it out yet, I added Disney's Wish to the story because I liked the movie and thought that it would be a fitting touch.

Anyways, I'm wrapping up college and have two finals left, so I'll be focusing on those.

Until next time.

See ya! Probably wanna be ya!
