Hey guys, chipsandfish2 here with another chapter of "Multiverse of Movies".
I don't really have anything to say, so let's just get right into the story.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the movies mentioned in this story, just the OC.
Chapter 9: HTTYD Scene 8
Stoick: When we crack this mountain open, all hell is going to break loose.
Gobber: In my undies. Good thing I brought extras.
"What is it with him and undies?" Kristoff asked.
"Don't ask." the vikings teens said in unison.
Stoick: No matter how this ends, it ends today.
[He gives the signal and the catapults start launching boulders at the side of the mountains eventually cracking it open. Stoick goes to the entrance and signals to one of the catapults. A giant ball of hay is ignited before being launched into the hole, revealing a dark tunnel, filled to the brim with dragons.]
"Whoa." Ruby said, eyes wide.
"That's a lot of dragons." Anna said, to which Kristoff nodded in agreement.
[Stoick charges in screaming loudly, Gobber and Spitelout right behind him, and all the dragons flee in terror, not a single one attacking.]
Gobber: Is that it? [Proceeds to shrug his shoulders.]
Spitelout: We've done it!
Stoick clenched his fists, realizing how much of a fool he was.
[All the vikings start cheering, except for Stoick.]
"They have no idea what's in store for them." Hiro said.
Meanwhile, Fred was vibrating with excitement, excited to see the Red Death in all its glory. GoGo elbowed him to try and get him to stop.
[Stoick looked over at the boats and saw Toothless struggling in his binds trying to free himself, fear evident on his face. Stoick knew something was wrong.]
Stoick: This isn't over. Form your ranks! Hold together!
[A loud roar is heard, a gust of wind from the mountain rocks the boats, and the mountain starts to crack.]
Stoick (cont.): Get clear!
[The vikings scatter as the Red Death's head emerges from the side of the mountain.]
Gobber: Beard of Thor... what is that?
[The Red Death, a dragon more that five times the size of the Vikings' ships, breaks out of the mountain.]
Stoick: Odin, help us.
[The Red Death roars furiously, towering over the vikings as if they were ants.]
The crew of the Inevitable stared wide-eyed at the screen. None of the sea beasts from their world were even close to that size.
Stoick: Catapults!
[The vikings launched boulders at the massive behemoth. But they just bounce off it like pebbles against steel. The Red Death makes short work of the catapults.]
Viking #3: Get to the ships!
North's eyes widened. "No, don't!"
Stoick: No! NO!
[The Red Death builds up gas in its mouth before firing a massive wave of flames, setting all the ships ablaze. Toothless is still trap on one of the ships, now fearing for his life.]
Hiccup put an arm around Toothless, bringing him closer.
Toothless was still a little frightened from that time. He was chained down with no escaped. Had Hiccup and Stoick not acted when they did, he would've been a goner.
Gobber: Heh. Smart, that one.
Stoick: I was a fool. [To Spitelout] Lead the men to the far side of the island.
Spitelout: Right. Everybody to the far side of the island!
Stoick: Gobber, go with the men.
Hiccup's eyes widened. He looked at his dad. "You were going to fight that thing alone?!"
Stoick nodded. "A chief must do what he can in order to protect his people. Remember that, son."
Gobber: I think I'll stay, just in case you're thinking of doing something crazy.
Stoick: I can buy them a few minutes if I give that thing someone to hunt.
Gobber: Then I can double that time.
Fergus smiled. The scene reminded him of when he and the other clan leaders would have each others backs during battle.
Stoick: HERE!
Gobber: Oh, no, HERE!
Gobber (cont.): Come on! Bite me!
Stoick: No, me!
[The Red Death reared back its head, ready to kill Stoick. Suddenly, an explosion hits the back of its head, stopping its attack. Stoick is surprised. As the Red Death is reeling, the teens and their dragons emerge from behind with Hiccup leading the charge.]
"Aw yeah! The cavalry has arrived!" Fred shouted in excitement.
Hiccup let out a breathe he didn't know he was holding. He had no idea he was cutting it THAT close.
Hiccup: Ruff, Tuff, watch your backs! Move, Fishlegs!
[Stoick silently says "What the…?"]
Tuffnut: LOOK AT US! WE'RE ON A DRAGON! WE'RE ON DRAGONS! ALL OF US!
[The screen showed the teens on their respective dragons.]
Hiccup: Up, let's move it!
Gobber: Every bit the boar-headed, stubborn Viking you ever were!
[Stoick just nodded in agreement.]
Stoick laughed in agreement. Like father, like son.
Hiccup: Fishlegs, break it down!
Fishlegs: Okay! Heavily armored skull and tail made for bashing and crushing! Steer clear of both! Small eyes, large nostrils! Relies on hearing and smell!
"You figured all that out just in just a few seconds of looking." Honey Lemon asked, impressed by his intuition.
Fishlegs blushed a little before nodding.
Hiccup: Okay! Lout, Legs, hang in its blind spot! Make some noise, keep it confused! Ruff, Tuff, find out if it has a shot limit! Make it mad!
Ruffnut: That's my specialty!
Tuffnut: Since when?! Everyone knows I'm more irritating! See?!
Hiccup facepalmed. Of course the twins would argue during a life or death battle.
Many of the kids in the audience were laughing at Tuffnut's silliness.
Hiccup: Just do what I told you! I'll be back as soon as I can!
Snotlout: Don't worry, we got it covered!
Fishlegs: Yeah!
[The group maneuvered around the Red Death and got into position.]
Tuffnut: Troll!
Ruffnut: Butt-Elf!
Tuffnut: Bride of Grendel!
[The Red Death fired fire at them, narrowly missing them a couple of times.
Many of the viking parents covered their children ears upon hearing the foul language.
"If you two weren't saying that to a gigantic dragon, I would ground the two of you for life!" The Thorstons mother shouted at them.
[Meanwhile, Fishlegs and Snotlout start banging their shields to try and confused the Red Death, but it opened four more eyes, revealing it had six.]
"Whoa, wasn't expecting that." Moana said.
Maui chuckled, having experience with fighting six-eyed monsters.
"Guess that's to make up up for it's small eyes, huh?" Merida teased, looking at Fishlegs.
Said viking teen blushed, he couldn't believe he didn't notice such an important detail beforehand.
Fishlegs: Uh, this thing doesn't have a blind spot!
[Hiccup sees Toothless on one of the burning ships.]
Hiccup: There!
[He jumps onto the boat.]
Hiccup (cont.): Go help the others!
[Astrid takes off to help the others.]
"Couldn't you have used the Nadder's fire to burn through the chains?" Tadashi asked.
Hiccup and Astrid's eyes widened and they looked at each other, then at Stormfly who just tilted her head.
Hiccup facepalmed at his mistake. In his desperation, he and Toothless almost died when he could have used Stormfly's fire to destroy the restraints and be back in the air in less than ten seconds.
Hiccup (cont.): Okay, hold on. Hold on.
[Meanwhile, Snotlout and Fishlegs seemed to be making progress on their ends.]
Snotlout: It's working!
Fishlegs: Yeah! It's working!
[What they didn't realize was that the noise was affecting their own dragons as well.]
"Oh come on." Gobber shouted. "How the hell did you kids forget that important detail?!"
Hiccup winces, realizing his second mistake.
"They'll be okay, right?" Maisie asked as she huddled closer to Jacob.
Jacob put his arm around her. "I'm sure they'll be fine."
[Hookfang loses his composure and bumps into the Red Death, causing Snotlout to fall onto the giant head.]
Snotlout: Agghh!
Spitelout's heart stops, fearing for his son's life because unlike Hookfang, the Red Death wouldn't hesitate to throw him off. Even though it took place in the past, it was still a scary sight to see.
[For Fishlegs, Meatluh started to go down.]
Fishlegs: I've lost power on the Gronckle! SNOTLOUT! DO SOMETHING!
[Meatlug spiraled out of control and landed on the beach.]
Fishlegs (cont.): I'm okay!
[Meatluh falls on top of him.]
Fishlegs (cont.): Less okay...!
Many people laughed at the unfortunate circumstance. Fishlegs blushed slightly as Meatlug nuzzled him.
"It's alright girl." he assured her.
[The Red Death raised it's foot, preparing to crush the duo. Fishlegs tries to escape, but is still stuck. Snotlout started hitting the Red Death in the eyes.]
Snotlout: I can't miss! What's wrong buddy? Got something in your eye?
[The Red Death roared in pain as it brought its foot down just narrowly missing Fishlegs and Meatlug.]
The audience breathed a sigh of relief. Fishlegs especially. He placed a hand on Snotlout's shoulder.
"Thank you so much for saving my life." He said.
Snotlout puffed proudly. He might not have seen eye to eye with Fishlegs, but he was still his friend.
Astrid: Yeah! You're the Viking!
[Snotlout got distracted by her praise, allowing the Red Death to try throwing him off. Snotlout just barely managed to grab hold of one of the horns. He looks down at the 100 foot drop.]
Snotlout: Whoa!
"SNOTLOUT!" Spitelout shouted upon seeing just how close he was to losing his only son.
Snotlot looked at him surprised. He's never seen his father show such emotion towards him.
"Pay attention Snotlout. Didn't you listen to a single word I said in training?!" Gobber shouted.
[As the Red Death was thrashing about, its clubbed tail hit the boat, almost crushing Hiccup.]
"Oh no." Hiro said. Many of the main cast clung to another person in trepidation. Anna to Kristoff, Rapunzel to Eugene, Maisie to Jacob, Olaf to Wasabi who definitely was not uncomfortable at the close proximity and the cold.
[A giant foot comes down and destroys the boat, causing Hiccup and Toothless to fall into the water, with Toothless sinking due to him still being trapped. Hiccup swam after him and started pulling on the chains to no avail. Hiccup was running out of air and let subconsciously let go of the chains as he started to black out.]
"No no no no no." Moana muttered.
Tears started to fill the eyes of people in the audience as it seemed like Hiccup wasn't going to make it.
Ruby watched the screen with a hint of fear. If she was there, she would've been able to help Hiccup and free Toothless with little to no effort.
[Suddenly, a big hand grabbed Hiccup and dragged him to the surface, revealing it to be Stoick.]
Everyone breathed out a sigh of relief. Even what Stoick did earlier was unforgivable, he still didn't hesitate to save his son.
[Hiccup managed to regain his bearings enough to see his dad dive back into the water.]
Hiccup: Dad?
[Stoick makes his way down to Toothless. The two stare at each other for a second before Stoick breaks open the collar around Toothless' neck. They stare at each other for a couple more seconds before Toothless shoots towards the surface, taking Stoick with him. They both make it to land, with Toothless dropping off Stoick before gesturing to Hiccup to hop on.]
"Aw yeah, the main duo's gonna join the fray!" DK shouted while pounding his chest.
Hiccup (cont.): You got it, bud.
[As he climbs onto Toothless and gets himself situated, Stoick comes up and stops him.]
Stoick: Hiccup. I'm sorry... for- for everything.
Hiccup: Yeah, me too.
Stoick: You don't have to go up there.
Hiccup: We're Vikings. It's an occupational hazard.
Stoick: I'm proud to call you my son.
Hiccup siled so hard, his cheeks were hurting. After so many years, he was extremely happy that his dad finally acknowledged him for who he was.
Mario, Luigi, and Merida smiled too, but to mask their sadness since their parents didn't do the same.
Hiccup: Thanks, Dad.
[Hiccup and Toothless take to the skies, which Astrid notices.]
Astrid: He's up! Get Snotlout out of there!
Twins: I'm on it!
Tuffnut: I'm on it first! I'm ahead of you!
Ruffnut: Hey! Let me drive!
Many people in the audience facepalmed.
"Are those two idiots seriously fighting for who saves him despite literally being on the same dragon?" Merida asked incredulously.
"Yes." The whole viking village, save the two aforementioned muttonhead, said in unison.
[Snotlout sees the twins approaching. He runs to the front of the head and jumps just in time to grab hold of the Zippleback between the napes of both necks.]
Everyone stared wide-eyed at the stunt.
"That was way too close of a call!" Wasabi shouted.
"And people call ME reckless." Hiccup said in exasperation.
Tuffnut: I can't believe that worked!
[As the group starts flying away, the Red Death begins inhaling, which begins to draw in Astrid and Stormfly.]
Everyone tensed up as the they saw Astrid and her dragon being drawn towards their "inevitable" death.
"Ooohhh, come on, Hiccup." Jack said. "You gotta save your girlfriend."
The tension in the romm lightened a little as everyone looked at Jack, before cheering and saying the same thing, making Hiccup and Astrid's faces burn hotter than an ignited Monstrous Nightmare.
[Suddenly, Hiccup and Toothless start coming in hot with the signature Night Fury whistle.]
Viking: Night Fury!
Gobber: Get down!
[Right before the Red Death could kill Astrid and Stormfly, Toothless blasts the mouth, stopping the dragon, but also throwing Astrid from hers. Before she could hit the ground, Toothless swoops in and saves her.]
Hiccup: Did you get her?
[Toothless looks down to check and sees Astrid who smiles at him. He smiles back and coos with a gummy smile.]
"Aw, how can something so fierce be so adorable." Rapunzel said.
"All the girls nodded in agreement while some gave Toothless head scratches, much to his enjoyment.
Astrid: Go.
Hiccup: That thing has wings! Okay, let's see if it can use them!
"Would something that big even be able to support its own weight with wings to fly?" Tooth asked.
"I doubt it." Bunny said. "After all, it seems all it's done is sit in that volcano stuffing itself silly. It's probably a miracle it can even walk at all."
Many people laughed at Bunny's comment, the vikings especially.
[Hiccup and Toothless ascend high and proceed to divebomb at a high speed, hitting the Red Death so hard, it got knocked on its side. As the vikings try protecting their eyes, they see a massive wing stretch out.]
Hiccup (cont.): Do you think that did it?
[The screen pans out and shows the Red Death now flying behind the duo.]
"Guess it can fly." Bunny said.
"No we'll see if it can keep up with Hiccup and Toothless." North said.
Hiccup (cont.): Well, he can fly.
[The duo start taking evasive maneveurs, the Red Death hot on their tail. They fly through sea stacks while the Red Death just smashes right through them like it was nothing. The vikings cheered for Hiccup, only for the Red Death to smash through another sea stack, silencing them. Seeing as how the big dragon is keeping up with them, Hiccup looks at the clouds and gets another idea.]
Hiccup: Okay, Toothless, time to disappear! Come on, bud!
"Of course." Maui said. "A small, pitch black dragon like Toothless will camoflauge perfectly in the dark clouds."
As the audience looks on, Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, and Stoick frowned. They remembered all too well what almost happened in the end.
[Hiccup and Toothless take to the skies as the vikings watch in amazement. The Red Death follows them, snapping its jaws before building up gas in its mouth.]
Hiccup (cont.): Here it comes!
[The Red Death fires but misses. It continues to follow them into the clouds before losing sight of them. It looks around angrily while the vikings continue to watch in , the duo launch a plasma blast at one of the wings from behind. The Red Death roars, trying to spot them but they disappear into the clouds again. The repeat the same attack on the Red Death's wings repeatedly. From the vikings point of view, it looks like thunder and lightning are rumbling in the clouds, the purple blasts showing the silhouette of the Red Death.]
"So that's why he's called the Unholy Offspring of Lightning and Death itself?" Hiro asked Hiccup.
"Maybe." Hiccup said, mesmerized by the effects.
[Fed up, the Red Death starts blasting fire in all directions. Hiccup sees the fire coming towards him and Toothless.]
Hiccup (cont.): Watch out!
[They avoid the worst of if, but Toothless' tailfin caught on fire.]
People in the audience gasped as the main casts eyes widened. If that tailfin fails at that altitude, there would be nothing that could save them from the fall.
Hiccup (cont.): Okay, time's up! Let's see if this works.
"See if what works exactly?" Kristoff asked not taking his eyes from the screen.
"You're about to find out. But at that point, there was a 50-50 chance of success." Hiccup replied.
He suddenly felt someone's eyes boring into him. He turned and saw Astrid glaring at him.
"Is that why what happened next, you know, happened?" She aggressively whispered.
Hiccup could only look down, giving her the answer she needed.
Hiccup (cont.): COME ON! IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?!
[Toothless roars an insult too.]
Antonio tilted his head. "What does that word mean?"
Felix looked at his son. "What did he say?"
Antonio whispered the word into Felix's ear. Felix's eyes go wide as saucers.
"Never repeat that word ever again!" He scolded him.
Pepa looked over. "What was the word?"
Felix whispered it to her, she covered her mouth in horror.
"Never repeat that word." She repeated her husband's words.
[The Red Death sees them and snaps its jaws at them, but misses. Hiccup and Toothless nosedive back towards the earth and the Red Death follows suit. The duo move as fast as they can, the tailfin disintegrating quickly.]
Hiccup (cont.): Stay with me, buddy. We're good. Just a little bit longer.
[As they continue down, they straighten out and the Red Death sees an opportunity. It opens its mouth and starts building up gas at the base of it.]
Hiccup (cont.): Hold, Toothless... NOW!
[Hiccup and Toothless quickly turn around and just as the Red Death was about to fire, Toothless shoots a plasma blast into the mouth, igniting the gas and catching the behemoth off guard.]
Jack's eyes widened. "Not so fireproof on the inside!" He shouted.
[The clouds part ways, revealing how close they were to the ground. The Red Death's eyes widen in realization. It tried opening its wings to slow its descent, but the hole from the earlier attacks started tearing apart and expanding.]
"So that's why you attacked the wings repeatedly." Asha said.
Hiccup nodded. "And now for the grand finale."
"Everyone looked from to the screen, eager to see what he meant.
[Hiccup and Toothless got out of the way just as the Red Death slammed into the earth, resulting in an explosion that not only resulted in a shockwave, but sent a chain of explosions throughout its body.]
Captain Crow was very impressed by the boys courage, bravery, strategy making, leadership skills, and battle tactics. He actually considered making him part of his crew. Yes, he might not approve of his dragon, but if they were a package deal, he might be willing to make an exception.
[Hiccup and Toothless fly as fast as the can to escape the explosion, but the remainder of the tailfin broke off, leaving them vulnerable. They see the massive clubbed tail heading straight for them.]
Everyone's breathing hitched.
Hiro starts moving both hands to the side as he stared at the screen.
"Get out of the way, Hiccup! Get out of the way!"
"He can't. Toothless can't fly properly without the other tailfin." Rapunzel said as she clung to Eugene.
Hiccup clenched his fists as he stared at the screen.
Hiccup (cont.): No! NO!
[The tail hits them head on, knocking Hiccup out and from the saddle. Toothless sees Hiccup falling towards the massive fireball. He flaps his wings and flies towards Hiccup just as the fireball engulfs them both.]
Valka's eyes widened in horror. Did she just witness the death of her own son?! Tears started falling frm behind her mask. If only, she chose to return instead of staying away, maybe she could have… maybe she…
Elsa's magic started leaking out, making the temperature in the romm go down a little.
"Jack, I know this is scary, but can please try and turn off your magic?" Bunny asked.
"What? I'm not doing it, see?" Jack said, showing that he wasn't using his magic in the slightest.
Bunny was confused, if Jack wasn't doing it, then who was.
"Wait… But you're here." Ruby said, gesturing to their current locations. "How could you have possibly survived that?"
"Keep watching." Was all that Hiccup said.
[The flames subsided, leaving behind smoke and debris. Stoick walked through the smoke.]
Stoick: Hiccup! Hiccup! Son!
[He sees Toothless in the distance, lying on the ground.]
Stoick (cont.): Hiccup.
[He runs forward, only the find the saddle empty. Despair creeping in, Stoick falls to his knees as vikings and dragons watched from the distance.]
Stoick (cont.): Oh, son... I did this…
Tears were starting to flow within the audience. Aunt Cass continued shoving popcorn into her mouth as she watched the sad scene before her.
Stoick (cont.): I'm so...I'm so sorry…
[Toothless unfolded his wings, revealing Hiccup, unconscious but safe within his arms.]
Stoick (cont.): Hiccup!
People stopped sobbing as they continued to watch, their hope levels at an all-time high.
[Stocik rushed over and grabbed Hiccup. He looked at him for a moment before removing his helmet and placing his ear on his son's chest.]
Stoick (cont.): Oh, he's alive! You brought him back alive!
Cheers rang throughout the theater while Astrid hugged Hiccup tightly and Hiro put a hand on his shoulder and shook it lightly while chuckling.
[He placed a hand on Toothless' head.]
Stoick (cont.): Thank you... for saving my son.
Gobber: Well, you know... most of him.
The cheering stops, many confused by what Gobber meant. Except the vikings, Hiro, Tadashi, and Ruby who already saw Hiccup's prosthetic.
[Some time later, Hiccup lies in his bed asleep. Toothless sniffs him and makes some grumbling noises. Hiccup starts to stir.]
Hiccup: Oh, hey, Toothless. I'm happy to see you too, buddy.
[Toothless gets very affectionate and accidentaly steps on his groin]
Hiccup (cont.): OW!
Every male in the audience winced at the sight. A few even automatically covered their crotches with their hands in response.
Hiccup just gave Toothless a deadpanned look. It was one thing for a person to step there, it was another thing for a dragon to do so.
Hiccup (cont.): What- Uh, I'm in my house. You're in my house! Uh... does my dad know you're in here?!
[Toothless jumps around in happiness, knocking over furniture in the process.]
The gang laughed at Toothless' antics.
"He's like an overgrown puppy." Asha said through her chortles.
[Toothless goes over to Hiccup before proceeding to climb up onto the rafter.]
Hiccup (cont.): Okay, okay- no, Toothless! Aw, come on...
[Suddenly, Hiccup stops, he feels like something is wrong. He lifts up his blanket, and all at once, it petrifies him and overwhelms him, all at the same time. Toothless jumps down to the floor. Hiccup hesitates on this. On the bare wooden floor, Hiccup's wooly boot touches the floor, followed by a mechanical replacement, fashioned out of wood and metal.]
The people in the audience gasped at th screen. Those who also had prosthetics, namely Gobber, Fergus, Gordon, and even Sarah, looked at the screen with sympathy. Losing a limb was one thing, but to lose it at such a young age was another.
"Wait. You mean you have a…" mirabel started.
Hiccup just lifted his prosthetic leg for the whole group to see.
Elsa, Anna, Tooth, Mirabel, Merida, Peach, Maisie, Rapinzel, and Honey Lemon gasped while covering their mouths.
Jacob, Mario, Luigi, DK, Maui, Kristoff, Eugene, Wasabi, Fred, Jack, the rest of the guardians, and GoGo just stared wide-eyed at the prosthetic leg.
"How did that even happen?" Olaf asked.
"I'm not entirely sure myself." Hiccup admitted.
"Allow me to explain." Ryalogia said as everyone looked at him. "Before the giant fireball engulfed Hiccup and Toothless, Toothless grabbed Hiccup's leg inorder to pull him in and shield him from the flames. However, Toothless bit down with a bit too much force, which would later result in the leg needing to be amputated.
Toothless looked down in shame for hurting his best friend.
Hiccup reached over and scratched his head. "Hey, it's okay bud. I'll take losing a leg over losing my life any day. Besides, we match now, don't we?"
As Toothles nuzzled his rider and crooned, Captain Crow looked over with confusion. The dragon took his leg, yet the lad still forgave him? He scowled, the boy was starting to remind him of that traitorous girl.
[Toothless smells the prosthetic, and looks at Hiccup. He takes a deep breath and tries to walk with the prosthetic. It hurts. He falls but Toothless catches him.]
Hiccup (cont.): Okay... okay... Thanks, bud.
[The dup make their way towards the door. Hiccup opens it, only to immediately close it as a Monstrous Nightmare appears and roars.]
Hiccup (cont.): Toothless, stay here.
[He opens te door again to see Snotlout and Hookfang riding with the other riders.]
Snotlout: Come on, guys, get ready! Hold on tight! Here we go!
[As Hiccup exits the house, he can't believe the sight before him. The whole village was composed of dragons and vikings living in harmony.]
Many of the vikings scratched their dragons heads. Their bonds possible thanks to Hiccup's efforts.
Maisie's jaw dropped. She wanted there to be peace between humans and the sea beasts, but Hiccup took it a step further in his case and created total coexistence.
Hiccup: I knew it. I'm dead.
Stoick: No, but you gave it your best shot. So? What do you think?
Viking #1: Hey, look! It's Hiccup!
Viking #2: Hiccup, how you doin' mate?
Viking #3: It's great to see you up and about.
Stoick: Turns out all we needed was a little more of... this.
Hiccup: You just gestured to all of me.
Gobber (o.s.): Well, most of you. [Gestures to his metal leg] That bit's my handiwork. With a little "Hiccup Flair" thrown in. You think it'll do?
Hiccup: I might make a few tweaks.
Gobber chuckled. He wouldn't expect anything less from his apprentice.
Astrid: [Punches Hiccup] That's for scaring me.
Hiccup: What, is it always going to be this way? Cause...
[Astrid kisses Hiccup.]
A series of aw's and ooh's rang throughout the audience. Hiccup and Astrid blushed furiously as their love was being displayed for hundreds of people to see.
Meanwhile, Jacob covered Maisie's eyes while Maisie tried desperately to move them.
Hiccup (cont.): ...I could get used to it.
[Gobber hands him a new saddle, flying mechanisms, and even a new tailfin.]
Gobber: Welcome home.
Viking: Night Fury! Get down!
[Toothless comes barreling out of the house, carelessly knocking over every viking in his path, ready to fly again.]
Ruby laughed. "Someone's sure eager to fly."
Hiccup nodded, having a feeling that the movie was nearing it's end.
[Hiccup got on Toothless, his prosthetics fitting perfectly into the mechanism, the new tailfin, red with a white skull, on full display.]
Hiccup: You ready?
Hiccup (v.o.): This... is Berk. It snows nine months of the year, and hails the other three.
"You're welcome." Jack said.
The others chuckled as they already knew about his powers. Especially Elsa.
Hiccup (v.o.) (cont.): Any food that grows here is tough and tasteless. The people that grow here are even more so. The only upsides are the pets. While other places have... ponies or parrots, we have... dragons!
[As Hiccup and Toothless soared into the sky, the Sun shown even brighter until it engulfed the screen before cutting to black and the title of the movie appears for a few second before also disappearing, signalling the end of the movie.]
The audience cheered in applause while the dragons roared in enthusiasm.
Ryalogia appeared before the audience as they quieted down.
"Okay everyone, now that the first movie is over, there will be a one hour intermission before we continue. Feel free to get up and stretch your legs and talk amongst yourselves. Bathrooms are down the hall and to the left, separated by gender and species. If you wish to ride your dragons, go down that corridor and make a right. Enjoy."
And that's a wrap!
Next up is the intermission chapter where the characters get to interact with one another. I'll also be revealing the surprise next chapter.
On another note, I'm participating in the Blessing of the Fleet run today in Narragansett, Rhode Island. I'm very nervous, but at the same time, very excited.
