I've seen other fanfics involve with Alya bullying Marinette while having Lila as her new friend, its just seems wrong to change Alya into something she never was. Which is why I have Marinette give her real facts that Alya missed out on. Like forgetting that Marinette is Ladybug and was never best friends with Lila which Alya should've checked her facts by then in season 4 but never did. Marinette's friends would never bully her like that while believing Lila Rossi. Its just too cruel and torturing because by then, Marinette would believe she made a mistake to entrust them with the miraculous. Adrien is never that stupid to do nothing or let Lila torture Marinette with her lies or believe taking the high road is a solution. No, Adrien knows better than this. He's not that cruel at all. He just never experience much at all nor understand what its like to be bullied or harassed at school. That's a real fact.
Cat Noir knew his father became cold-hearted but he never thought that he would still let grief get the best of him, especially hiding the body of his dead mother. It was very inhuman of him like he never wanted Emilie to decay at all but her soul trapped in some coma state was enough to have her not rest in peace at all.
He remembered for years his mother would always have coughs and illness but she always tells him it's nothing to worry about. He thought it was some new illness or a cancer she was going through but ever since the day his father told him she disappeared, he was never the same as he used to be, causing a distant relationship between father and son. But he remembers that his mother gave her music records to him as memories and possibly her request to pass them to him. She once told him to remember that love is always possible to find and she wanted him to live his life with freedom. But unfortunately, he never got the chance due to his father's orders. Adrien was afraid to be alone and he only had his father as the only living parent. But knowing full well if he was Monarch, he accidentally but also been forced to cataclysm directly which resulted in his lifespan on the ticking clock. With the snake's power, it accelerated the decay. Like a time loop going in circles around the line of timeline for time energy to forward the person's body as in by going months instead of minutes.
"What am I going to do? He has my lifeline in the ring, lied to the world and his time is running out" Adrien said to Plagg.
"Weren't there two rings your parents wore when you were a kid?" Plagg asked.
"Yes but if both are destroyed, I die. It's not possible for amoks to split in one" Adrien said.
"I don't know kid. I remember most of the previous peacock holders and some amoks can be split into one. Nathalie did give you orders too like when your father gave you an order, Nathalie counter-order you and you listened. She does wear that ring, right?" Plagg asked.
"Yes," Adrien nodded.
"Kid, I know the world can be cruel to you but you always say your mother was an angelic soul. She probably protected you from the truth so you don't walk into a crossfire. But now seeing what your father has truly become, this is no family you're living in anymore" Plagg said.
"My parents were family I had but since mom is dead and her body is hidden somewhere in the mansion, my father is corrupted by the butterfly miraculous. My choice is to get both rings except I can't" Adrien said, knowing full well that he's not like Felix to sneak around and steal, except one time he broke into his father's vault behind his mother's portrait.
"But my will and freedom is my amok and I can't let my father control my life. It's time to grab the other from Nathalie. Although she's looking very weak and vulnerable these past few days. Plagg, claws out" He transformed into Cat Noir, knowing well that becoming a cat burglar is not his style but doing the wrong thing for the right reason is better than waiting.
"Well here goes nothing" He exhales.
It was night already and he hoped Nathalie was asleep. Felix did give him a fake ring before he left to go back to London, I suppose that was why he gave it to him for something to figure out.
"I hope this works" Cat Noir jumps out the window to swing to Nathalie's bedroom.
He sneaks in on all fours, silently not making a noise. Of course, knowing Nathalie she's pretty much a light sleeper but with her condition getting worse, it was a lot of sleep.
"I'm sorry Nathalie, but it's for the greater good," Cat Noir thought.
Replacing the real ring with a fake one, hoping it will be more convincing to both of them. The only problem is that his father also has a real second ring too. It won't be easy to fight the other like his other half is in someone else's control.
"Now for the other one," Cat Noir snuck out.
He goes to his father's room to get it. Unfortunately, his father was not in there, like he was probably in his lair or never wanted to sleep at all until insanity got the better of him.
"Damn it" Cat Noir cursed.
But one thing his father never told him about was his true birth story. If there are photos of his childhood, then there must be photos of a baby. There are always photos of mothers going through pregnancy like baby showers. So far he has only seen pictures of himself as a toddler. He needed to know the truth, even if it cost at the crossfire. He can't let rage believe his parent created him for something. He searched for an album and searched through it. He found just one but it wasn't in a hospital. He checked about the birth certificate and found that it seemed a little off about it, like the time of the day didn't match up.
"It doesn't seem official but the birthday is right" He grabs the photo album of himself before his father comes back in the room.
He managed to sneak out in time, still processing being a sentiman. He did not want to believe that being a sentimonster makes him not real but he did grow up like a human in nature. There were times he did die a lot by akumatized villains but Ladybug always brings him back.
"At least my friends treat me like one and milady," He thought.
After coming back inside his bedroom, he detransformed and locks himself in the bathroom, turning on the shower to pretend he's taking a shower.
He opens the album and the photos of the sonogram of his mother's pregnancy, each month. It only started when he was a growing fetus instead of an embryo.
"More human than sentimonster" He checks the next ones.
It all made sense since Felix said that their mothers were infertile and if using the peacock miraculous gave them lives, it would mean they never had genes from their fathers but they still have biological fathers. Even if their mothers wanted a child but did not want to adopt a child that doesn't have the same blood as their parents, they truly did want a child that is half human and half sentimonster born from their mother's pregnancy, as a way to grow like a human in nature, except not like from a God's creation to give life but from a peacock miraculous.
"Well both my father and Uncle Colt are more monsters than humans," Adrien said, feeling like disowning Gabriel.
The photos of his toddler age with his mother was very thoughtful of her to have a child she couldn't have. He sighs warmly at them. He chuckled at how identical he and his cousin were at age 3, despite that he's only a few months older than him since his mother got pregnant first before Aunt Amelie. And them pranking their parents by pretending to be each other. Then he saw the picture of him meeting Chloe as kids. There were times when his mother wanted him to meet kids his age but his father refused since he's not ready to meet other people until he has learned to grow and explore his life, which was why he decided to have him homeschooled his whole life. He always declares that Adrien is not like everyone else. Chloe, however, was never homeschooled. She may have been his first friend but was never a true friend. The next page was his birthdays only celebrated by his mother. He always wanted a birthday party with people his age but he never got the chance until now on his 14th birthday with an akumatized villain.
"He just had to ruin it using Nino," He said.
No wonder his father likes to ruin people's lives, including his own son, to akumatize anyone. All the times his mother was the only kind parent to have, even if he remembers those coughs and dizziness she went through for years, she always told him to never worry about her the same way Nathalie told him that too. Hell, even his uncle was the same with that condition too until his mother disappeared the same way his uncle died a couple of weeks before and he never got the chance to go to his funeral because his father made him not go. Which in a result, it made Felix very upset without his cousin's support.
"I gotta admit you and him were very identical like kittens. Almost like twin brothers but twin cousins is very much not possible" Plagg said.
"Barely" Adrien replied.
"I can't imagine my kwami friends being forced to do evil for Monarch. If it's him, then he's a rotten cheese in the storage" Plagg said.
"No, Hawk Moth changed my father and now Monarch made him into a monster. It's time I make my own life instead of his orders" Adrien puts the ring containing half of his amok on his other finger, barely hard to hide it from his father, "Half my lifeline is secure with me" He then said.

With Marinette, she allowed Alya to come over for a sleepover but also a friendship lesson since the influence from Lila nearly caused their friendship to get damaged.
"I know I was wrong and you and Adrien were right" Alya apologized for being reckless.
"It's gonna take a while to trust you, Alya. I was afraid to lose another friend again like with Soqueline. She was the first friend I ever had last year until Chloe forced Principal Damocles to suspend her, never got the chance to graduate at the end of the school year. And Lila nearly almost made me lose everything. I would've lost myself like Shadybug went through" Marinette explained why she despises liars and bullies.
"Yes. And I think for what we did it makes us no less than the villains" Alya said.
"Adrien also knew she was a liar until he learned how much damage she did. He did say, "Lila is a pathological liar and a talented one at that. She always manages to lie her way out of trouble". Did pathological liar mean anything to you and Nino by what that means but instead, you only believed he was defending me" Marinette said, feeling angry at remembering how disrespectful it was from her and Nino to not believe Adrien either.
"I didn't think that one through," Alya said.
"You know Lila's lies have more plot holes than Swiss cheese. You've known me long enough to know I'd never do such heinous things" Marinette replied.
"I really should have dug into it than jumping to conclusions," Alya said.
"And that's what she wanted you to believe I was the liar instead of herself. It's called manipulation and pathological liars like her do that to not get into trouble but for victims like you and our friends to get into this mess" Marinette explained why pathological liars are beyond redemption because they lack remorse and get defensiveness when confronted.
"I'm such an idiot for believing her" Alya sighed.
"To her she sees everyone dumber to believe her lies but she sees me less dumb than the others. She was right about one thing, people can't resist what they like to hear. Same thing with gossip and rumors online. Which is why she was after me because I am the witness of seeing through her lies" Marinette explained.
"Clearly she was obsessed with making you miserable," Alya said.
"And by having you all go against me. Being Ladybug is a lot of responsibility, even if I have to lie to cover up my tracks. There are times I needed you to babysit Manon or Chris, you were the only friend I trusted. Except for the time you once told me you had Lila babysit Chris which was irresponsible because she could've made twisted lies to a very young child to believe she's more amazing than me" Marinette recalled the time she and Cat Noir Gad to fight Mr. Pigeons a lot before Timetagger showed up.
"Of course" Alya frowned.
"Alya, you may like scoops and all. Especially the time Lila made a lie, you posted her on your blog. You have to check your facts first instead of believing from someone else. Especially how she lied to you about being best friends with Ladybug, you could have known this before how I told you my secret as Ladybug" Marinette said.
"I know and you're right. From now on, I verify my sources. I just feel so betrayed by Lila because she made all of us feel so gullible while you were trying to tell the truth. We all experienced being akumatized by never deceivers like her. Like the time I thought Chloe was the real Ladybug" Alya said.
"Would the real Ladybug have blond hair like that?" Marinette made an annoyed face at how hard it was to not see the difference.
"No. And it's also quite ironic nobody can tell you and Ladybug has the same style" Alya pointed out.
"My hair becomes much more bluer. Do you know why I wear pigtails?" Marinette said.
"It's because of Soqueline?" Alya guessed.
"To have the same confidence she has. She is the only girl who stands up against Chloe. But when she got suspended, Chloe won. I was not gonna let her do the same to anyone else. Until Lila got me expelled for something I never committed and you easily pointed at me that the evidence was proof enough. Except for other minor facts. One, Lila having her leg injured and doesn't take minutes to walk again. You saw she was able to walk normally at her locker to frame me. Falling down the stairs would result in having bruises, broken bones, or a concussion. Yet she didn't get that and she was just fine" Marinette pointed out her facts and why she chose her pig tails as Soqueline's signature and legacy, including the facts of errors people missed out on when Lila framed Marinette.
"Or that a napkin would hurt your eyes" Alya also pointed out.
"Max wears glasses. A sprained wrist is very painful to move or bend" Marinette said.
"Point taken. I really wish the school had security cameras" Alya said.
"It's under the mayor's orders. But the board of directors is the one to decide" Marinette said before staring at her empty miracle box.

Gabriel checked his condition in the mansion, "How much time do I have?" He asked.
"Not much time. Probably a week. And so as for me. We both failed and broke that promise to Emilie for what she wanted, Gabriel. And sooner or later, Adrien might figure out your dark secret if you continue to make him miserable" Nathalie said, learning how Gabriel constantly abuses him to obey orders instead of following what his mother wanted, freedom.
"Nonsense! He must never know! He needs his mother back!" Gabriel refused to ever let Adrien discover his father's madness.
"No, he needed his father the most but now it's like it's over for him to ever trust a father who barely ever pays attention to him. Emilie accepted her fate and she would have wanted us to move on and stop chasing after the remaining miraculous. But so far, our fate has turned against you" Nathalie coughed hard which resulted in becoming vulnerable.
"Adrien has no one when we're gone!" Gabriel said.
"He had you and me if you had given up on your madness, but you foolishly broke that promise to Emilie! I thought for sure you could've seen how much I could be in love with you but you only want Emilie because she's irreplaceable. You're insanely obsessed!" Nathalie ranted that everything he did was the reason his madness led to this, "The only question is who are you now? The father of a sentimonster child or a madman?"
Gabriel was lost for words, "I am his father and I know what's best for him. Which is why I'm sending him to London to keep him safe"
"No, you're only gonna make him more miserable if he leaves the life behind. Gabriel, no one is responsible for this. It's you. If you had given up your madness for Emilie, you would have still been here, but instead, you only think about what you wanted. And so far, we cannot fix this anymore. When you try to fix a problem, you'll still create another after another. Every action has a reaction" Nathalie coughed badly and so far, she's gonna go through another stage.
Unknown to them, Adrien was hiding nearby. He listened to every word and indeed, Nathalie knew that his father was that madman but unlike the times she supported him, she's now losing faith in Gabriel due to his madness with the miraculous and his mental behavior becoming worse to one day abuse Adrien.
"If anyone's a monster, it's him," Adrien thought.
