Zane was showing Lincoln how to make a pokeball when out of the Conner of his eye he saw the pearl clan leader: Irida

"oh shit!" Zane said

"what?" Lincoln said

Irida noticed the two and approached

"you two are members of the galaxy team?" Irida asked

"I am he isn't." Zane said

Irida then noticed the bracelet on Lincoln's wrist

"glaceon ice beam!" Irida said "freeze the thief!"

"oh no you don't luxray thunderbolt!" Zane yelled

both attacks collided and fizzled out

"return the bracelet and you will keep your lives." Irida

"but miss sneasler gave it to me!" Lincoln said

"wait what?" Irida asked

"yeah she just gave it to me." Lincoln explained

Irida remembered that lady sneasler asked for the bracket

"that can't be..." Irida began "you're the one she chose to be her warden?"

"again what does that mean?" Lincoln asked

"he's a little dense." Zane explained when Irida looked to him in confusion

"a warden is a caretaker of a noble pokemon they help their nobles with whatever they need whatever it may be like helping with heirs or offerings." Irida explained "there are 10 noble pokemon split up between the diamond and pearl clans lady sneasler is a pearl clan noble."

"and that's why you attacked because you thought I stole the bracelet." Lincoln said

"it's my job as clan leader to make sure that all of our nobles have a warden though lady sneasler is particularly picky about her wardens she always has been." Irida said

"wait old is she?" Lincoln asked

"well she's only the third noble sneasler since the original that helped almighty sinnoh." Irida's explained

"and that was?" Lincoln asked

"a couple thousand years." Irida answered to Lincoln's shock "nobles can only die from unnatural means like wounds or environments thanks to almighty sinnoh's blessing."

"wow that's wild." Lincoln said

"in fact every single noble sneasler is still alive just in retirement." Irida said

"wow that's amazing." Lincoln said

"it truly is." Irida said

"so miss Irida what now?" Zane asked

"well I will have to inform the clan that lady sneasler has picked her warden." Irida said "and we also have to do proper ceremony."

"that sounds like a day and a half." Lincoln said

"well how long have you Been warden?" Irida asked

"Saturday." Lincoln said

"...I'm sure it's fine." Irida said "I still need to tell the other wardens including the diamond clan ones."

"do you have to talk to my mom about this?" Lincoln asked

"you have a mother?" Irida asked

"yeah she didn't say anything about being in the clans so maybe you would like to meet her." Lincoln said

"I don't see why not." Irida said

"just try to not be distracted by her beauty." Zane said

(author's note: giratina's human form is the giratina dress Cynthia from pokemon masters with red eyes and black streak in her hair to make sure Volo doesn't recognize her)

"I doubt that." Irida said "I am a clan leader. No temptation can stray me from the path of sinnoh."

later

"ba ba ba..." Irida said upon seeing giratina's human form

"I told ya." Zane said

"what is it you wish to talk about?" Giratina asked

"oh right!" Irida said "you're son is a warden and therefore needs to be introduced to the other wardens would you like to attend the meeting at the mirelands miss... uh?"

"Tina." Giratina lied to mask her true identity "and sure I'd love to attend!"

"very well i will meet you there tomorrow." Irida said before leaving

"I gotta go too." Zane said "I got survey corps stuff to do."

and with that Zane left too

the next day

giratina and Lincoln were on their way to the diamond clan

"ok remember Lincoln best behaviour." Giratina said

"right now then we're almost-" Lincoln began before...

*CRACK*

...a hisuian lilligant kicked his head clean off his shoulders

"OH SHIT!" Giratina yelled before shooting a shadow ball at the lilligant to get it away "i can fix this!"

she put Lincoln's decapitated head near his body and cut her wrist hoping her blood would heal him

however as the blood slowly came out she noticed Lincoln head was already being reattached

that didn't stop some of her blood to getting into the wound before it sealed shut

then Lincoln woke up

"my head hurts." Lincoln said "you alright mom?"

"yea I'm fine.." giratina said after recovering from the brief heart attack

soon they arrived at the the diamond clan area where all of the wardens and both clan leaders were waiting outside

"glad you could make it." Irida said to giratina and Lincoln before turning the others "now as you probably now lady sneasler has finally picked her warden."

"about time." The diamond clan leader adaman said

"now introduce yourselves to our newest warden: Lincoln." Irida said

after some introductions there were some questions

"who's that woman next to you?" The warden of kleavor: Lian asked

"that's my mom." Lincoln said

"why aren't you wearing the pearl clan uniform?" Adaman asked

"well I'm not officially part of the clan yet..." Lincoln said

naturally this caused some arguments...

...which ended when the same lilligant from before kicked Lincoln's head off his shoulders a second time

"well then there goes lady sneaslers warden." The Warden of lord electrode: Melli said

"well that's just rude." Lincoln's decapitated head said causing Melli and Lian to faint "nibbles kick their butt!"

Lincoln's headless body grabbed nibbles's pokeball and threw it sending out the gligar

"use wing attack!" Lincoln's head said

gligar rushed forward and hit liligant with his wing

Lincoln's headless body grabbed a pokeball and threw it at liligant

after a few shakes lilligant was caught

"he uses pokeballs?!?" Mai asked

"well I didn't know!" Irida said

this lead to an argument between most of the wardens except the unconscious ones and the costlands ones

...all while Lincoln was trying to tell his body where his head watched

"I'm over here!" Lincoln yelled

eventually lady sneasler showed up and showed immediate concern upon seeing Lincoln's head

"can you please put my head back on my body?" Lincoln asked

lady sneasler did just that as the warden's stopped arguing for a moment to watch

"lady sneasler you put my head on backwards." Lincoln said "I'm gonna need you to cut it off so I can put it back on."

and lady sneasler did just that

Lincoln picked up his head and put it back on

"thanks for the help..." Lincoln said to the wardens who were watching in horror

the next day

Lincoln was patrolling the highlands before noticing Melli

"hey there buddy!" Lincoln said

"back away!" Melli said scared

"what are you gonna do stab me?" Lincoln asked

and Melli did just that

rude, but fair

and that's that

Lincoln is now basically immortal

I mean he was that before giratina's blood but that simply allows him to be awake during it
