When sid came to she noticed 3 creatures looking at her
"are you 3 alright?" A voice asked
she looked and saw a man in a lab coat
"I am emmet and I have sand in my shoes." Emmet said
(so that wasn't a dream) Sid thought to herself
"Ingo are you ok?" Emmet asked
"I'm fine emmet." Ingo said getting up
"you 3 took quite the fall." The man said "and what strange clothing."
"I am emmet this the finest battle resistant material." Emmet said
"and you are?" The man asked turning to Sid
"I'm Sid Chang." Sid said
"oh where are my manners I'm professor laventon!" Professor laventon said
Ingo and emmet immediately flinched
"OF ALL THE STUPID ASININE SHARPEDO JUMPING TAROUS SHIT!" Emmet yelled
"emmet language." Ingo said
"what is it?" Sid asked
"we're in the fucking past." Emmet said
"are you sure you didn't hit your head on the way down?" Professor laventon asked
"no because I had to write a history report about you which is how I met our good friend elesa and my adoptive sister is a descendent of yours." Emmet said
"emmet cease! you don't the possible effects!" Ingo said
"if god was worried about safety he wouldn't have sent us here!" Emmet said
"so does that mean the pokedex is a success?" Laventon asked
"yes almost every trainer has one." Ingo said
"in fact..," emmet said pulling out his old pokedex
"why do you have that with you?" Ingo asked
"because I need to know if things have mold breaker." Emmet said
"I'm very confused right now!" Sid said "what do you mean we're in the past? what are these things? what is going on!?"
"wait you don't know what a Pokémon is?" Professor laventon asked
"no.." Sid
"Pokemon are truly fascinating and somewhat terrifying creatures." Professor laventon said
"that last part is not true." Ingo said
"Ingo chandelure eats souls." Emmet said
"those souls deserved it." Ingo said before remembering something "emmet do you have your team?"
emmet patted his belt "I am emmet everyone is here and accounted for!"
Ingo patted himself down and he had his whole team too
Sid then noticed something shining
she went over and found 3 phones
"hey I found these." Sid said handing two of them to the twins
then a message appeared on the screen
"I bestow upon thee this Arc Phone and thy mission: seek out all Pokémon."
"well that isn't ominous." Sid said sarcastically
then the 3 Pokémon that did saw ran off
"Oh, blast and bother! My darling pokemon!" Professor laventon said "Why must you run from me again?!"
"a cyndaquill a rowlet and a oshawott." Ingo said
"I'm terribly sorry, but do you think you could help me round them up? I beg you!" Professor laventon asked
"I am emmet we will help!" Emmet said
"does he always say that?" Sid asked Ingo
"he was unable to talk until he was six and those were his first words." Ingo said "and plus we're twins he says it so no one gets confused."
They chased after the Pokemon soon after
meanwhile
Lincoln decided to head to the colbalt coastlands
"what was that feeling..." Lincoln said to himself before noticing a hisuian growlithe pup all alone
he approached it
"hey little buddy don't hisuian growlithe's come in pairs?" Lincoln asked
the hisuian growlithe wined at that
Lincoln then noticed an alpha luxray eating what was left of the other growlithe
"oh hell no." Lincoln said as he felt his scales grow
for the first time the voice in his head and him agreed on something
they were going to kill that luxray
five minutes later
"you want a piece?" Lincoln asked offering the growlithe the luxray's leg having already torn it apart
the growlithe shook its head
"your lost." Lincoln said taking a bite out of it and wiping some blood from his mouth "surprisingly it tastes like... something I can't remember."
"ummm..." a female voice said from behind
he turned a saw palina and her growlithe and the future lord of the coastlands
"oh hey you're... palina was it?" Lincoln asked
"yes..." palina said "is that an alpha luxray?"
"yes. yes it is." Lincoln said "it killed this growlithe's friend so I said an eye for an eye."
"and you're eating it..." palina said
"why waste a perfectly good food source?" Lincoln asked
"you do know that luxray's have enough electricity to turn a person into soot and they store it in their bodies?" Palina asked
"so that's why I can't feel my everything." Lincoln said before grabbing a Lum berry and eating it "there we go all better!"
"I think I'm starting to understand why Melli is afraid of you." Palina said
"is he still on about that?" Lincoln asked "he literally stabbed me. Granted I said "what are you gonna do? Stab me?" So I deserved it but my point still stands."
"you truly are a mystery warden Lincoln." Palina said "maybe that's why lady sneasler took a liking to you and made you her warden."
and with that palina left
"anyway I should get going." Lincoln said "you can have the rest of that if you want."
the growlithe followed him
"you want to come with?" Lincoln asked
the growlithe nodded
"well then welcome to the team!" Lincoln said before throwing a pokeball and catching the growlithe
he sent growlithe back out
"I'm gonna call you... Lucy." Lincoln said feeling a sense of familiarity with the growlithe for some reason
"anyway let's get home." Lincoln said
meanwhile
soon the trio had caught all 3 pokemon
"thank you very much." Professor laventon said "I take it that pokemon catching is very common in the future?"
"yes but please don't go around saying that." Ingo said
"well for me it was like throwing a ball." Sid said
"i see." Professor laventon said "but still a world without pokemon seems unimaginable."
"truly." Emmet said
"well then there must be a reason why you appeared here and now." Professor laventon said
Sid then showed him the arc phone
"hmm seek out all pokemon." Professor laventon said "that's perfect! If you are able to join the survey corps you will be able to both complete your mission and my dream to make the first ever pokedex!"
"pokedex?" Sid asked
"a detailed recording of every pokemon in the region." Ingo said
"well since we have the same goals. sure!" Sid said
"excellent!" Professor laventon said "First things first—let's get these Pokémon back to the village! Then we'll sort out your lodgings and find you some proper clothes and a meal and all that."
"ok!" The group said
"onward to jubilife village!" Professor laventon said
"all aboard!" Ingo and emmet said
they entered the village and immediately people were talking about them
("Ingo I can't believe we have to stay here.") Emmet said using sign language
("emmet don't be rude.") Ingo signed back
("they don't even have trains.") emmet signed back
professor laventon went up ahead to tell the captain about the Pokemon
"well now aren't you 3 awfully suspicious." A man in a cooking apron said "The Wallflower's for Galaxy Team folk only. We don't have seats for outsiders. Move along!"
"interesting." A voice said from behind the group
they turned and saw a girl and a boy
"who are you?" The girl asked "I've never seen anyone dressed like you before."
"akari cut them some slack." The boy said
"but her clothes are really thin she would get turned into mince meat if she encountered a Pokemon." Akari said "and the coats for those two can easily be grabbed."
"anyway I'm Zane." Zane said "how'd you get in here do you know the professor?"
"yeah we helped him catch his pokemon." Sid said
"the professor is always losing them." Akari said "he really needs to try more."
"pot met kettle." Zane said
"I guess I am one to talk I have trouble with them too." Akari said "I got hit with a move called thunder shock not too long ago and I had to take to my bed."
"weak." Emmet said
ingo elbowed him
"But the professor...well... I do wonder how long he'll last." Akari said
"Unfortunately it's just as Akari says... I'm a clumsy sort of fellow, to put it mildly!" Professor laventon said as he approached
"professor!" Akari and Zane said
"Sid Ingo emmet here have agreed to help us with the pokedex." Professor laventon said
"excuse me?" you plan to appoint them as a survey corps members?" Akari asked
"why are you getting mad? we could use all the help we can get." Zane said
"he can't just slap a badge on whoever without captain cyllene permission." Alari said
"I'll allow it." A voice said
they turned and saw a blue haired woman
"captain cyllene?!" Akari said
"assuming these 3 can contribute to the survey corps that is." Cyllene said
"I am emmet me and Ingo are very good battlers!" Emmet said
"prove it." Cyllene said "Zisu!"
a red haired woman approached
"yes captain?" Zisu asked
"I need you to test these two." Cyllene said
"ok but do you two have pokemon?" Zisu asked
"yes we do." Ingo said
"alright then follow me to the training grounds." Zisu said as Ingo and emmet followed her
"as for you we have a different test for you." Cyllene said to Sid
"ok then." Sid said
"we will get you a temporary place to stay until the test." Cyllene said
"Zane could you come over here?" Zisu asked
"yeah?" Zane said going over with the others following him
"these two apparently do something called a multi battle so I need a team mate." Zisu said
"ok go luxray!" Zane said sending out his alpha luxray while zisu sent out infernape
Ingo sent out haxorus while emmet sent out electross
those watching were intrigued and frightened by the Pokemon
"ok I am emmet all aboard-" emmet began
"earthquake." Ingo said
haxorus slammed the ground causing a mini earthquake knocking out every other pokemon electross Included
"Ingo cease this instant you've knocked out electross 10 times this week and it's only Sunday." Emmet said
"cease deez nuts." Ingo said
"I will have retribution." Emmet said while smiling angrily
Zane and zisu were stunned at what happened
"well then go drifblim!" Zisu said
"go archeops!" Emmet said "stone edge full speed ahead!"
Pointed stones came out of the ground and knocked out drifblim
"Zane why aren't you sending out your next pokemon?" Akari asked
"I don't want to send my poor starly to get obliterated." Zane said
"you passed the test." Cyllene said to Ingo and emmet before walking away
"let's get something to eat." Professor laventon said
meanwhile
"I'm back!" Lincoln said coming into the house holding Lucy in one arm and the corpse of an alpha starraptor in the other "and I brought dinner!"
"are you talking about the starraptor or the growlithe?" Giratina asked
lady sneasler (who started living there part time after Lincoln's first transformation) let out a chuckle
"what do you think?" Lincoln asked sarcastically
both of them looked at him with a "I have no idea" look
"it's the starraptor." Lincoln said "the starraptor is the dinner."
I missed writing Ingo and emmet so much
also I love writing "slowly becoming chaotic neutral" Lincoln because that voice in his head is driving him crazy and if any Pokémon that gives him a reason to kill it he will with his bare hands
also it doesn't help that he can't die and now can't feel pain because of the luxray's electricty
