"Okay so I want a firing squad and my body donated to the ministry for studying, Bella and Ceros must continue my collection" I say slowly standing up as Minnie glares at me.
"You stole their gnomes?" She hisses.
"I paid for them by leaving stuff worth money" I say defending myself.
"Aquila, these are stolen from muggles"
"No, I left gems in return for them" I mumble looking to Dru for help only to see her smirking at me "Dru wants them" I say quickly while pointing at her.
"Oh really? Then it will be Dru who gets upset if I brake this?" Minnie hisses raising her brow.
Fighting to keep my face blank I cross my arms acting calm "you're not that cruel".
Seeing her throw it I squeak jumping to catch it and cradle it to my chest before checking it to make sure it's ok "Aquila Black, my parents neighbors were freaked out that someone was so close to their house they moved because someone kept stealing stuff".
"I left jewels and gems in exchange" I mumble ducking my head down and glancing up at here.
"Is this what you and Ceros do when I fall asleep?"
Nodding I get up putting my gnome on a shelf while ignoring Minnie ranting in her Scottish language as Dru laughs "she's been dragged my daughters with her as well" Dru adds smirking.
Sticking my tongue out at her I sigh feeling Minnie grab my arm forcing me to look at her "you need to be careful doing that what if someone sees you or them".
"I am careful"
"You have came back bitten by dogs multiple times and at one point needed Kreacher to come help you, because you somehow got locked in a zoo as an underage witch so you couldn't use magic" Dru adds smirking.
Glaring at her I hiss pointing at her "that was because of you, you wanted the beast and Cygnus dragged me along to help get one".
She hums looking at her nails "yes and she's a beautiful gift".
"The monkey" Minnie asks glaring at Dru.
"Spider monkey" we both answer.
"What did you steal tonight?" She demands.
"Gnomes, Ceros got a pig statue, Bella took a statue from a street, Andi a crystal ball set in a statue and Cissa got a fake Venues de Milo"
"I hope you didn't take a something that will catch the attention of the muggles"
Huffing I cross my arms "I know what's off limits Minnie".
2 days later
Hearing Andi screaming I sigh sitting my work down just as Cissa comes running in holding her cat, she runs up holding it out to me pouting "Bella mean" she says sniffling.
Reaching out I take the cat frowning "what happened?"
Cissa points to the door as Andi comes in pale and shaking "Andromeda we're coming for you".
Looking at the cat I sigh hearing Andi scream again running out "wonderful to know how she became paranoid of familiars" I mumble getting the spell off the cat before giving it back to Cissa.
She smiles taking off and a moment later I hear Andi screaming and something break then what sounds like the Floor "uh oh" Cissa says loudly.
Sighing I get up going to see what happened finding Cissa pointing at the fireplace "Andi bye" she says pouting.
"Great" I groan calling for Walburga.
"What" she yells.
"I'm going to find Andi, don't let the brats burn the house down"
Turning I stalk out of the house and Apparate thinking of Andi, landing in the familiar shop, I sigh seeing them all worked up while Andi sits on the floor screaming.
Rushing up I grab her making her scream more before realizing who I am and clinging to me.
Walking out I rock her and gently shush her till she calms down "why did you hide in the Floo?" I ask.
"Cissa kept trying to get me to pet the cat but its coming after me" she mumbles.
"Andi that was Bella messing with you, the familiars are her to help us and be friends"
"No, I read that if a familiar turns on it's person they become human and steal their magic" she whispers.
"That's just a scary story people tell it's not true you can't steal someone's magic you either have it or you don't"
Seeing her shaking her head I sigh pulling her back to me "let's get home and see if Aunt Minnie left any ice cream" I offer.
Apparating back home I walk in pointing at Cissa "leave Shadow" I warn.
She pouts putting her cat down and follows me to the kitchen as I get ice cream for them, ruffling Andi's hair I walk out grabbing Shadow as he tries to get back to Cissa "nope with me" I coo scratching his chin.
Finding Bella and Ceros with the rest of the familiars I step in the room closing the door "one of you are going to tell me why you think it's a good idea to scare Andi so much with familiars she accidentally Floo'd out of the house and is convinced the want to steal her magic" I hiss slightly sitting down Shadow seeing both girls looking at me shocked.
"Was a joke" Ceros says frowning.
Looking at Bella she nods crossing her arms "there is a difference between a joke and being mean girls, this was just mean now go to your rooms because you won't be leaving them till I say because Andi could have been hurt or accidentally hurt someone as scared as she was" I order.
A few days later
Walking into Minnie's personal lab I raise my brow while leaning on the door watching her write something down before turning back to our nieces, nephew, and daughter each sat on a table.
She smiles tickling Bella before quickly moving to Ceros and tickling her.
Hearing Ceros laugh sounding almost identical to Bella I tilt my head watching her write something else down she's been doing this since Ceros showed her Metamorphmagus traits.
"I think I figured something out" she says suddenly while waving me over.
Moving to her I frown seeing our families book on magical blessings on the Metamorphmagus page "I think there's different types that someone can get" she adds pointing at her findings on Andi.
"Like what?" I ask not following her notes.
"You have the Metamorphmagus blessing but don't have the physical traits I think with some it's simple things like coping someone, you've always been able to copy your family and friends laugh or voice, Andi can as well the trait may have multiple types I believe you and Andi have a lower form of it while Ceros has a higher form"
Nodding I tap on Ceros information "clumsy" I add.
Seeing Minnie frown looking at me I smile "she won't grow out of it Minnie, the trait effects their coordination, it presses against the part of her brain that controls that".
Minnie crosses her arms and turns to look at me "how do you know?"
"Hermione got curious once and was studying a boy, she found the evidence but never got the chance to publish it"
"Why tell me?"
"Maybe because I can teach you the spell and you can use it to verify her findings and publish them for her"
Minnie raises her brow before nodding.
