"I am heading to my lab. I will talk to the two of you later." Stein said, rolling away on the chair.
"Today is going to be a get to know you day. I will officially start tomorrow. So how about today I let you all take the stage. Tell me your name, if you are a weapon or meister, if you are a weapon what kind of weapon are you, if you are already paired let me know that as well, and if you don't have a partner that is fine too." I started looking at the class.
"I can start." A student said, raising his hand.
"My name is Alister Kims. I am a meister without a partner. I am good with hand to hand combat and technology. I also run the school newspaper and journalist." he started.
"He may be annoying and cause some problems, so keep an eye on him and be careful." Dragedge whispered, leaning towards me.
I nodded.
"I can go next." Maka said, raising her hand.
"Go ahead Maka." I said.
She looked a little confused.
"As you know my name is Maka Albeurne. I am a scythe meister, with soul as my partner. I am capable of using the witch hunter ability, and good with hand to hand combat and education. I also have the ability to see others' soul wavelengths." she continued.
"You look alot like your mother." I said.
"You know my mother?" she asked.
"I do. I was ,and kind of still am, part of your fathers team. She was a skilled meister and she would be proud of you." I continued.
She blushed and smiled a little.
"I will see if I can find her and send her a letter. Kid, Liz, and Patty. You don't have to go since i know you three.'' I said.
They nodded in agreement.
"I can go next." Soul said.
I nodded.
"My name is Soul Evans. I come from a family of musicians. I am a weapon, a scythe. My partner, as you know, is Maka. I am the coolest." he said, with a smirk.
Maka face palmed. Dragedge and I let out a laugh.
"Ok then." I said.
"I am Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, I am from a ninja clan. I am a weapon with different forms. Black Star is my partner. I am sorry about him." Tsubaki said.
"You're fine. I will have black star go when he wakes up." I said.
"I am Ox Ford, a meister. My partner is Harvar. I want to get stronger. I am the smartest in the class." Another student continues.
'This is going to be an interesting year.' I thought to myself.
"I am Havar , a weapon. I am a lightning spear. I can also conduct electricity at will. Ox is my partner. I can also resist madness easily." The next student went.
"Oh really? We will be putting that to the test." I commented.
"I am Kilik Rung. A meister. My partners are twin weapons: fire and thunder. I am good with hand to hand combat. My partners don't talk much so I can explain their abilities. They are pot weapons. They can use fire and sound like thunder when hitting. When given some magic from a witch they turn into earth shaman form." the next student said.
"It is interesting to see another set of twin weapons." I responded.
"I am Kimid Diehl, but please call me Kim., a tanuki witch. I am a meister. My partner is Jacqueline. I use regeneration magic, calculation spells and sexy magic. I can also give some of my magic to other people." she added.
"A witch? That's interesting. I have seen a few more here over the years." I looked at Dragedge.
"I am Jacqueline O'Lantern Dupre, a weapon. I am a lantern. I have the ability to give off heat and control fire. I can also create explosions. My partner is Kim."
"Interesting."
"I am Hero. A meister. I currently have no partner. I was previously partnered with Excalibur but that didn't work out. I am also not the strongest in any way."
"I don't know if anyone can team up with him. As for strength, we can work on that."
"I am Thomas Adams. A meister with no partner. I am good with mythology and lore."
"I am Flora Knight, a mester with no partner. I am skilled with earth magic and not really a fan of fighting but still good at it."
"I am Claire Morre. A weapon with no partner. I turn into deer horn knives. I can even summon one if I need to protect myself."
" I am Zena Wills. A weapon with no partner. I turn into a bladed fan that can separate. I am pretty good at fighting even though I don't really like it."
I paused for a second.
"Are you by chance related to Audra Wills? A meister." I asked.
"Yes. She is my oldest sister. She might start teaching math here soon. Why do you ask?" She responded.
"I was in her class when I went to school here. We didn't get along too well." I said.
"That is an understatement." Dragedge commented.
A look of realization and horror came over her.
"You are the girl she would talk about and make fun of. I am so sorry she did that to you. And Dragedge, she is obsessed with you."
"It's ok, it's in the past. As long as we dont run into each other everything should be fine."
"Ok." She slumped into the seat.
Black Star started stirring and sat up.
"Ow, what hit me?" he said, rubbing his stomach area.
"I will explain that later but I would advise you not to try that again." Dragedge said.
"Ah, you're awake. Would you like to introduce yourself?" I said.
"I am Black Star, the best in the school. The meister of the demon weapon Tsubaki. I am a great ninja and assassin. No one can beat me." he stood up.
"Even though I just beat you." Dragedge laughed.
A few seconds later my father walked in and turned to the wall.
"Why is there a human crater in my wall?" He asked.
"Black Star decided to try to attack Dragedge." I said.
" That is not a surprise. How are things going here?" He asked.
" Good, I am just getting acquainted with the students." I answered.
"Has Grimmy told you about her abilities?"
Heads shook.
"I was getting to that."
I looked back at the class.
"How many of you know about the ranking system at the school?" I asked.
Ox raised his hand.
"It is the rank given to meisters and weapons who are strong enough to go on dangerous missions and what they can and can not do in the school. It goes from one star, two star, and three star being the most powerful."
"Correct. Who here is a one star?"
A few students raised their hands.
"Who here is a two star?"
The rest of the class raised their hands.
"To explain how strong my abilities are, I am a three star meister/weapon. Also known as an elite meister/weapon."
Everyone was quiet and staring, making me slightly uncomfortable.
"I have the ability to manifest my madness into a physical form and create essentially whatever I want. However there are drawbacks. The longer and more I use it the more likely I am to go mad. I have gotten a lot better with my control."
"That's insane. Is that even possible? I don't think it is." Alister said, writing something down.
I froze for a few seconds with a flashback, but shook it off.
"It is. I might be able to give a demonstration later." I responded.
'By the way Grimmy. There may be two new students joining the class." My father said before turning towards the door.
"Could you not use that nickname? That's fine." I said, turning red with embarrassment.
He walked out and the bell rang to go home.
