"Bok, bok, bok, boka."
Everyone looked where Victor once stood now stands a gray chicken?
"What just happened?" Soul asked.
"Meow." 'Did I just meow?'
"Why is Victor now a chicken and Grim now a cat?" Maka asked.
"BOKK!" Chicken Victor started to peck at Dragedge.
"I'm sorry. I am still working on controlling the wild magic." Dragedge whispered, trying not to laugh.
"Can you turn them back?" Hatori asked, picking me up.
"meow." I purred.
"I can't." He responded.
"How long are they going to stay like this?" Tsubaki asked.
Victor started walking around trying not to freak out 'what the hell is happening?After this we are going to be going through some rigorous training.' He thought to himself.
"Meow." I jumped down and wrote in the dirt using my claw.
"It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for us to turn back." I wrote.
"Does this happen often?" Black Star asked, laughing hysterically.
I nodded. Maka handed me a pen and some paper.
'More times than I care to count.'
Victor tried to grab the pen and scratched.
'How are you so calm?' "bok."
'I am used to this. At least this time he didnt turn me into a chicken. I turned into a demon chicken.'
Victor tried to peck Dragedge again but Dragedge was able to pick him up to stop him. As all this was going on the buses arrived to bring everyone to the hotel. We boarded the bus. Noire followed behind us. Everyone was laughing. We tried to sit close enough to each other to still be able to talk, or read.
'He even changed noire into a bear and a mouse before.' I wrote.
'I didn't even know that was possible. I am going to make more restraints and check the ones you have now.' Victor was slowly getting the hang of using the claws.
He hopped over to Dragedge and checked on the restraints he has currently.
"What are those for?" Liz asked.
"They are restraints. They help hold back some of the magic I have so that my powers don't go completely crazy." Dragedge responded.
I walked over to Hatori, curled up on his lap and fell asleep. He smiled and stroked my head. Poor victor was having trouble getting comfortable. He ended up laying on his side with his feet sticking straight out looking like he was dead almost. Everyone around us was laughing. Dragedge tried to hide his face in embarrassment. A few hours later I woke up and sat in the other seat knowing I was about to change back. I was finally back to normal, not without the side effects, shortly after Victor changed back, his head in the currently puking Dragedges lap. They stared at each other for a few seconds.
"Bok." Victor opened and covered his mouth, shooting up straight.
"Why did I still sound like, bok, a chicken?" Victor asked, the kids started laughing.
"It's a side effect. You are going to have to deal with that for two or three days, or maybe a week." I responded, scratching my head, noticing I still had ears.
Victor gave me a death glare while everyone else laughed.
"The ears are kind of cute." Hatori whispered in my ear.
I blushed. Victor shot daggers at Dragedge.
"We still have to make our way to the airship port." Maka said.
"Do we have to?" Dragedge asked.
"Yes we do. I had to ride the train, and we have to take another train from the hotel we are staying at to get even close to the port. And even then it's a day's travel from there. We have had a setback already." I responded.
The bus stopped a short time later at the hotel. We got our rooms set up for the night.
"Why don't we get something to eat? I am starving. We can continue the conversation there." Black Star said.
We all agreed. Got a table and ordered food.
"Can I meet you in spain?" Dragedge asked.
"No." I responded matter of fact.
"Why don't you like airships?" Kid asked.
"I feel as though they are unnatural and wing are so much better." He answered.
Everyone looked at him like he was crazy. I looked at him and he gave me a nod.
"He is a dragon." I said.
"WHAT!" They said in unison.
"Please don't let that out?" He pleaded.
"So you are a dragon and a witch?" Maka asked.
"Father dragon. Mother arachne" He responded.
"You are related to Crona?" Kid said.
"Who's Crona? bok" Victor asked, covering his mouth from more embarrassment.
"Medusa's kid, currently on the moon." I responded.
"Apparently I am?" Dragedge questioned.
"Oh? The crazy witch who uses black blood?" Victor asked.
"Yes." Maka said.
"Oh crap. That poor child and it might be my fault." He continued.
"What?" Dragedge inquired.
"She might have overheard me talking about it in theory?" Victor finished.
'Bok'
"Oh. of course." I said.
"Well we should probably get to bed, we have an early train to catch tomorrow." Maka said.
We all headed off to bed. The next morning we walked to the train station. Dragedge protested, I will admit I dragged my heels a little. I was not looking forward to another train ride.
"You may have to knock out Dragedge." I added.
Victor smacked Dragedge on the back of the neck knocking him out. He picked him up and threw him over his shoulder.
"That works. And it looks like you enjoyed it a little." I said.
"Consider it payback for turning me into a chicken. Bok. I am still dealing with a few side effects but it looks like it is not as bad."
"Yours should go away by today. I may have the ears for a few more days."
We sat down. After an hour or so, Dragedge started talking.
"Does he do this often?" Victor asked.
"I forgot you are using one of the guest rooms. Yes he does. Its pretty funny. He is a major sleep talker just watch his wings and tail, they pop out sometimes and they hurt." I replied.
"Noted. And what was that guest room comment about?" He responded.
"Oh nothing."
"You two really do act like siblings." Maka said.
"He is one of my best friends." I responded.
"Why don't we get food? It is lunch time and it will be night when we reach the next stop." Tsubaki suggested.
"Sounds good." Hatori answered.
"I can walk." Dragedge mumbled.
Victor helped him steady but he couldn't stand up. Victor had to help him walk.
"What is the story between those two?" Soul asked.
"Victor is Dragedges current love interest." I responded.
Dragedge slowly cursed at me. A little longer and he was able to walk again.
"Let us know when the wedding is?" Hatori joked.
"What?! No it's not like that?" Victor blushed.
"You are living with us, made him lunch and kissed him in front of Audra." I started pointing to victor.
"I hate that woman." They mumbled in unison.
"Same. and as for You I can tell when you are drooling over someone, and you. are. drooling. You zone out every time you see him, stutter when you talk to him, can't stop talking about him and need I go on." I continued laughing and pointed at Dragedge.
They both matched the color of Victor's hair.
"Fair." Dragedge whispered.
He looked like he was going to throw up as the train swayed back and forth. He got up and flicked me.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"Everything." He joked, smiling.
"You are going to be joining the crazy." I said to Hatori.
"I can't wait." Hatori smiled.
"So are you used to being turned into a chicken?" Black Star asked.
"Or any animal?" Soul added.
"Yeah. It happens a lot. The first time it happened it shocked me. We were 16 I think." I questioned.
"Yes. It was Atlantis." Dragedge added.
"You have been to Atlantis before?" Maka asked.
We laughed.
"Yeah…we sunk it."I said casually sipping on my drink.
"YOU SUNK ATLANTIS!" Black star and Soul exclaimed at the same time.
"Yay. You sank Atlantis like we destroyed Anubis." Patty giggled happily.
"You destroyed Anubis?" I asked.
"Yes. A painting was off center and I had to fix it. And the mummy was horribly asymmetrical." Kid responded.
I stared at him for a second.
"I see all of deaths kids are good at destroying something." I commented.
"That's why we are no longer allowed to team up as weapon and meister. Unless under extreme circumstances." Dragedge added.
"You two are that powerful together?" Maka questioned.
We nodded.
"They came to me shortly after me to see about the restraints for his powers." Victor chimed in.
Both Black star and Soul looked like they wanted to say something but stopped when Maka and Tsubaki gave them looks. We finished our dinner and went to bed.
